After Dani fell asleep, Sam and Danny decided to just let her sleep at Sam's for the night. Danny knew there was a lot more that needed to be discussed but he wasn't going to push the subject now. Finally Sam spoke up, "How do I transform into my ghost form?" Danny was quiet while he thought about how to answer her. "Well it's not something I've ever had to explain. I'm not sure really. I've gotten so used to it now I don't remember when I first had to think about it. I do have an idea but I don't think you'd like it." "What's the idea?" "I could overshadow you and force the change. Then that way your body understands what to do?" "Worth a shot. I've got no idea of how to do it." So Danny overshadowed Sam for a few minutes. Once he forced the transformation the first time, Sam understood what she needed to do to switch forms. Her ghost clothing was a nice pair of pants that were mostly black but white towards the bottom. The shirt was black and white striped. Her suite had an S and P side by side instead of Danny's symbol. Her eyes were the same bright green as the other Phantoms' and her hair was just as white. "Cool, at least I know what I need to do now." Danny smiled and gave her a kiss before heading home to get some sleep.
The following morning his parents spoke with him about updating the security system so it wouldn't identify Sam, Dani or himself as dangerous. His mom spoke of how they would do the updates. "Basically we just need a sample from each of you in your ghost forms, then we'll update the system to recognize each of you. Has Sam transformed into her ghost form yet?" "Yes she did last night when Dani and I went over." "Good we'll go ahead and get your sample and get the others later."
When Dani woke up the next morning she wasn't entirely sure where she was until she remembered they'd flown over to Sam's house to talk. She smiled as she thought of her mother. Sam came in just a few minutes later. "Good morning Dani. How do you feel?" "I feel great. Sorry I fell asleep last night." "You don't need to apologize. You were pretty tired anyways. What do you say to meeting my family?" Dani had an uneasy look to her face when Sam spoke of this. "The family that accepts you?" Sam laughed. Dani smiled and spoke, "Sure." Sam led her down to a large living room where two people were waiting for them. "Gran, dad, this is Danielle or Dani for short. I think we might have to change that though when you fully complete deaging. Otherwise it'll be hard for you to learn who's talking to you or your father." Sam spoke the last bit to Dani. She was quiet while she thought this over and watched her mother's family watch her. Finally she spoke, "Hello it's nice to meet you. As far as the name thing mom, I think Ellie might be good. Would that work?" Sam smiled as she asked this. "We could work with that. Dad, what do you think of your granddaughter?" Jeremy spoke up for the first time that morning, "I think she is very smart and kind. It's nice to meet you Ellie. I'm glad Sam is letting me be a part of your life." "I think my Sammy is going to be a wonderful mother to you little lady. Along with a very strong queen for the ghost zone too. What do you say to a few games of bowling?" "What's bowling?" Ellie asked. She hadn't heard of it during her time traveling. Sam remembered that Danielle might not of had the time to learned about those things while running from Vlad. "We can show you." She smiled at her daughter. They spend the rest of the morning bowling and getting to know each other better.
