Once they finished bowling Sam turned toward her daughter and could see how much she had already deaged. Now she looked more like a six year old. "Dani, er Ellie what do you say to going shopping for the things we'll need later on." "Dani smiled, "Sure, can we get dad to come with? Or is he going to be busy?" "I think he'll be with Tucker today. So it'll just be us for the shopping trip."
As the girls were pulling into the parking lot of the mall, Dani started to feel unsure about this. Sam who was checking the rearview mirror saw her hesitation. "What's up, Ellie?" "I don't know. Are people going to stare at us?" Sam wasn't sure where this was coming from. "What do you mean?" "I mean are they going to judge you and dad for having me?" "Ellie, I doubt anyone will judge your dad since he just saved the whole world. As for me, well maybe, but I can handle it." Ellie perked up at this but didn't ask anymore questions. "What do you say we get some lunch first? Then do our shopping?" "Sure." Sam lead her now almost five year old daughter through the food court. She knew with her being so young she'd most likely want some McDonalds. Sam ordered their food and once it was ready they sat down a little bit away from everyone else.
As they were eating Sam heard a voice she'd really wished would've learned to leave her alone. "Manson, who's the little brat? What do you think finding an abandoned kid that you could pretend to have kid of your own?" Sam sighed, "Hello Paulina." Ellie had heard a little about Paulina when she'd first come to Amity. Based off what she'd heard she didn't like the girl. "Can we help you Paulina? Sam and I are currently trying to enjoy our lunch before we do some shopping. I'd rather not be interrupted anymore." Paulina looked shocked that the child had spoken to her at all. "You have no business in this discussion kid." Paulina sneered at Ellie. Paulina continued to try to insult Sam but Sam was just silent as the other girl spoke to her. Ellie was getting tired to the whole thing though and wanted to just enjoy the day with her mom. She snuck under the table and turned invisible. She flew above Paulina with her sauce and ketchup and then dumped it on the girl causing her to scream and run to the bathroom. Sam had noticed Ellie hide under the table she knew her daughter had done the sauce dump. "Danielle May Fenton, we don't use our powers on humans." She tried to discipline her daughter but couldn't help but laugh. "Sorry mom, I was getting tired of it. Can we do our shopping now?"
