"Just when I thought the day couldn't get any worse."
Bucky looked down at his one real arm, his wrist firmly handcuffed to Sam's own.
"C'mon, man, if you gotta be handcuffed to anybody, name five people that would be better than me?"
"Off the top of my head? Assassin, terrorist, HYDRA agent..."
"You kiddin' me with this?"
"No. Wanna know why?"
"Why?"
"Because at least any of those guys would probably be quiet for more than ten seconds at a time."
As if trying to prove Bucky's point, Sam started rambling on as they made their way out of the building.
Bucky turned his face away, hoping he wouldn't be caught in a lie.
Maybe he didn't mind being physically attached to Sam - he had grown pretty attached to him in other ways lately - but it still might be better if he had been handcuffed to a bad guy.
At least then he could've just torn the asshole limb from limb to get out of it.
This situation was potentially going to go on for a while, and as much as he loved him, Sam really was going to drive Bucky nuts if he didn't. stop. talking!
