(Start Jedi Temple steps Persona)
Sometime before the initial strike had hit Persona was walking up to the Jedi Temple not at all trying to hide himself. As he approached he already knew all eyes were on him and the darkness surrounding him. As he approached he was soon met with the sight of several Clones standing guard they all looked ready to stop him if it came down to it. Unfortunately the Clones never had a chance seeing as they were never trained to handle a Dark Falz.
Persona used his Lightsaber and made quick work of them. After all how many masked crooks have a lightsaber and knew how to use it. He didn't end it there as he then fired his laser pistol off at another killing him by aiming at the gap between his helmet and the rest of his armor. Once the weapons were sheathed Persona continued his approach until he was through the massive gates of the Jedi Temple.
Once Persona was through it was then his darkness was sensed and it didn't take long for the Jedi to start to gather around the Dark Falz. It wasn't long until Dark Falz stood face to face with another Jedi glaring at the young man noting how he must have been recently knighted. A pity that not long after he was knighted he would meet an unfortunate end on this very day. It wasn't long until Persona found himself surrounded by Jedi Knights and among them was the Master Student duo of Anakin and Ahsoka.
Anakin and Ahsoka had no doubt returned to the Temple with Obi-Wan to give an in-depth report about the Falspawn and Dark Falz known as Apprentice. This in turn suited Persona just find he knew Anakin had to die at all costs. "I don't know who you are, but you just killed Republic Troopers." The Jedi said as Persona headed him no mind.
"Sorry about that, but they got in my way." Persona said as Ahsoka nearby noted how Persona was dressed which was similar to that of Apprentice when they met. "You have about a good 10 seconds to run." Persona said as that was his rough estimate.
"Run from what, we outnumber you." The Jedi said until he and the other Jedi began to take note of the open gate and from it a Republic transport ship clearly stolen. Acting fast the Jedi all got out of the way leaving Persona there as the ship crashed through the gateway destroying part of the walls as well. The Entrance hall of the Jedi Temple were thoroughly trashed as the Republic Ship slid on the ground lousing its wings becoming unable to fly after this nasty crash.
As the smoke settled Persona was revealed to be unharmed from the ordeal as the only thing that shifted was his coat. As the Jedi began to regain themselves the hatch of the ship opened revealing only darkness inside it. Following it up was Dark Falz Apprentice the Vernal as she smirked to the Jedi. Not long after dark glowing eyes were seen behind her all coming to life one set after the other. It was clear that the ship was filled with Falspawn.
Apprentice smirked sadistically as she then snapped her fingers to point forward and thus the Falspawn attacked. In response they assembled, knights and masters without students began to gather, along with the temple guard. But the Dark Falz and their Falspawn servants didn't wait for their foes to get organized. The monsters of darkness and destruction began to attack with a ferocity restricted to monsters.
During this Apprentice laughed as she saw the chaos take place. "Elder has no idea what he's missing!" Apprentice laughed as she saw the bloodbath occur. "Though I suppose we can make do with what we have for now." Apprentice said as she smiled to this turn of events before her.
Meanwhile Persona was also taking part of this battle as he saw Jedi being attacked by the Falspawn left and right. The Falspawn slaughtered the old and slow that hadn't gotten away, and the young and inexperienced. The body count was rising quickly, though more Jedi and clone soldiers were on their way to assist with the assault. Apprentice then looked to one of her Falspawns and signaled them to follow. Thus Apprentice went with a small detachment to the Jedi Council Chamber knowing what they were doing would feed the Profound Darkness well.
Anakin and Ahsoka were fighting off the Falspawn as the insect like creatures were attacking anything that moved. As Anakin did battle he made sure Ahsoka was also ok while they got any of the weaker or younger Jedi to safety. Just then Anakin her a lightsaber coming his way and acted in time to block the violet saber of Persona.
The two glared at each other before Anakin noted Persona's saber. Or at least he noted his own Lightsaber as it seems Persona's and his own had twin sabers here. They in turn parted and glared at each other with Persona looking away. Following it up Persona took out Padme's gun and fired it off at Anakin intent on killing him.
Acting fast Anakin deflected the laser bolts and thus looked to the Dark Falz. "I don't know what you are or where you got that, but that Lightsaber doesn't belong to you." Anakin said trying to keep himself from appearing unnerved that Persona had an exact copy of his lightsaber.
"Your right… it doesn't." Persona said not even denying that fact about this weapon. "But it shall be the instrument to set right what was begot." Persona said as he pointed the lightsaber at Anakin confusing him about this. For Persona his goal was at long last within his reach so all he had to do was claim it.
(ARK's Teams)
Arthur with his fellow Council Members and Yuvel's party ran to the nearest window and saw what was going on. "No." Arthur gasped as he saw that the city was under attack by the Falspawn. In fact it seems the attack began at… the Jedi Temple.
"We need to move now." Xect began until the building shook again causing the group to stumble from it.
"What the?" Yaga began until they saw it coming forth. They saw Avian based Falspawn flying through the sky attacking everything that was in their way.
"Oh great when it rains it pours." Reggie said as he realized Dark Falz Luther the Fallen was here also. "How much money you wanna bet that Gemini, Persona, and Elder are hiding out somewhere?" Reggie asked and thus Yuvel rolled his eyes to that.
"The suckers bet aside we got a problem." Yuvel said and thus the four members of the Council of Six were already on the case.
"A problem we are going to solve." Arthur said and in turn he proceeded to send out the alert to the fleet of this invasion.
(ARKs Fleet)
As many ARK's agents and crew members went about their work it seemed to be a regular day for them. Some were discussing their next course for travels while others performed small deliveries. That was of course until the sky screen flashed red with warning. Following it up was an announcement making a to all ARK's Agents who were able bodies aware of what was now happening.
"EMERGENCY FALSPAWN INVASION ON CORUSCANT! ALL ARK'S AGENTS DEPLOY IMMEDIATELY! I REPEAT A MASSIVE FALSPAWN INVASION HAS BEEN DETECTED. BY CORUSCANT BY ORDER OF ARTHUR OF THE COUNCIL OF SIX ALL ARK'S AGENTS ARE TO DEPLOY AND WARD OFF THE INVASION AND PROVIDE AID!"
When the announcement went off all Ark's agents were gathering their tools from medical supplies to weapons. It was clear they were ready for a war as they ran to the Gate area and launched in their gate ships. Springing into action it was clear many of them have been training for this for some time now. Others were quickly loading up any equipment that might be needed for the battle to come against the evil Falspawn.
As the group ships many crews prepared for battle many were already set up to join the battle against the Falspawn. In turn ARKs ships were being deployed as they all flew to the planet in hopes of providing aid against the Falspawn down below. As the ships flew through space the crews inside knew it was now or never to prove to the Galaxy who they were and why they were all here.
(Coruscant)
As the attack continued civilians were running away as the Falspawn were quickly beginning to overwhelm the people. Many were running away screaming in fear and terror while others were being pinned by the Falspawn. Already Planet security and the Clone Troopers were trying their best to stave off the invasion. But these weren't Battle Droids they were monsters bent on destruction and consumption while following the orders of the Dark Falz who summoned them. As the battle continued a Clone was pinned down and firing at the Falspawn that approached him. Soon he was knocked down and due to it lost his rifle.
This particular trooper was all but certain he was doomed at least until a miracle happened. Gun fire went off hitting the Falspawn in the face before Yuvel came in with his partisan stabbing into the monster. The attack made quick work of the monster as it then fell over dead. Once it hit the ground Yuvel jumped off allowing it to vanish from the battle.
"Need a hand?" Yuvel asked as he offered a hand to the fallen trooper who took it without much trouble.
"Thanks." The Clone said and thus he saw something. "LOOK OUT!" He called out as a large Falspawn was upon them only for Reggie to fire off his cannon at the creature aiming for its core. Following it up was Zurna as the Braver fired off her arrows at the creature before Laura came in.
With an invocation Laura set off a powerful explosion that sent the monster flying back killing it with ease. Thanks to their world shift and the fact Laura memorized her Techniques she could cast them just by invoking the spell. Yuvel and his party formed up the Clone was surprised to see this all happening.
Following it up more ARK's Agents came down from drop ships like shooting stars and began to fight off the Falspawn. "Incredible." The Trooper said as he saw this happening.
"Yeap reinforcements have just arrived." Reggie cheered as he smiled to the Clone… well he would have if he had a face to smile with.
"What's the situation?" Yuvel asked as now ARKs have joined the battle against the Falspawn.
"We got civilians caught in the crossfire and we believe the attacks are centered at the Jedi Temple and the Senate Building." The Clone confirmed as he was smart enough to know they needed help.
"I'll get the alert sent out to all the ARK's Agents both with the fleet and planet side." Zurna said and thus Yuvel nodded.
"The Council of Six will handle protecting the Senate Building the rest of us need to stem the tide around here." Laura said and thus they were in agreement on this.
"Alright let's move people!" Yuvel ordered and thus they all sprang into action. In turn the tides of battle changed in favor of the Republic and ARK's when they were working as one.
(Senate Building)
The Senators were all being moved to a safe location yet it seemed that it would be for naught as already the Falspawn had arrived. But as the Senators all began to fear for their lives a blast of fire went off taking many of them down at once. They all looked and saw Klara of the Council of Six there standing with her Rod weapon drawn.
"A child?" One random Senator asked earning Klara's ire.
"Don't. Call. Me. A. CHILD!" Klara yelled not liking being called short by anyone. The result was another explosion more powerful than the last one that took out many Falspawn at once. "I'm Klara of the Council of Six and you better not forget that!" Klara yelled as she was not one to take being underestimated by anyone kindly.
Just then a massive Falspawn came out causing the group to panic and just as Padme drew her side arm Yaga came in with his blazing Knuckles drawn. He smashed them into the Falspawns core killing it with one shot all the while carrying that cocky look he was famous for. Klara of course looked surprised that she missed the big one when Yaga spoke.
"Come on Klara pay attention we've got Falspawn all over the place." Yaga said with a smirk as the spiky haired member of the Council of Six helped his comrade. He then punched his fists together causing the fire from the gauntlets to burst a bit before he then smashed them into another Falspawn aiming for their cores destroying them.
"Shut up Yaga!" Klara countered as she pointed her staff at Yaga almost threatening him. All the while Yaga smiled not at all bothered by either the danger from the Falspawn or Klara's explosive personality.
"Oh no need to blush Klara. Just because my heroic arrival got you all love struck doesn't mean you have to be angry and flustered." Yaga grinned and in turn Klara began to blush.
"That's not it at all you idiot!" Klara yelled as she was in fact angry and embarrassed. In turn the two went back and forth making jabs at each other much too many of the Senators shock.
The Senators saw the back and forth going on and wondered how these two even gained their ranks in the 'Council of Six,' to begin with. Just then a Centaur like Falspawn showed up much to the Senators shock. They in turn began to warn the duo just before it went for the attack and thus the two saw it.
"DO YOU MIND!?" Both Klara and Yaga yelled as Yaga punched the Falspawn while Klara had her staff at it and blew up the Falspawn at point blank range. Yaga in turn smirked at Klara once the Falspawn turned to black particles while Klara glared at Yaga in response.
"Now that's enough of the lovers quarrel there." Came the voice of Morgan as the CAST woman approached the duo. "After all we have a job to do." Morgan said as she shouldered her Partisan ready to save the day.
"We are not lovers!" Klara defended but regardless Morgan had a point.
"No time for that, we got to get these people to safety." Yaga said and thus the Republic Senators realized that aid was here from the ARKs fleet. "Now… where are the shelters?" Yaga asked as he honestly had no clue where the shelters for the Senators and civilians are currently located at.
"First things first we need to find Republic Security and ensure the civilians are safe." Padme said as she stepped up and took command here.
"I could not agree more." Morgan said and thus they all got moving to provide aid to the Republic and its citizens caught in the crossfire of this grand battle.
But with three members of the Council of Six on alert the Senators safety was assured. But with all six members as well as almost every available ARK's agents on the ground the battle against the Falspawn menace was in the favor of the Republic.
(Meanwhile over with Arthur at the Senate Building)
Arthur, Xect, and Noto were aiding the battle in their own ways. Arthur seemed to be using a massive sword weapon which seemed to be the sort he doesn't often use. Closer inspect on the other hand showed that it was in fact a massive sword but the sword part was chipped and dulled in certain aspects and the handle seemed capable of being drawn from the blade. Near the hilt of the sword was, what looked to be handles of some sort placed there for some unknown reason. Be it for easier heavy strikes or some other reason it was unknown to those currently here. Despite this he was helping in dealing with the Falspawn that were attacking. Nearby Xect was firing off Techniques with his Talis weapon while Noto was sticking to using his gunblade switching between melees and ranged combat on a dimes flip.
As the battle progressed it was clear that these heroes of ARKs were doing what they can to provide a way to safety. In turn Yoda was seen as he hobbled over to the ARK's leaders as Mace had managed to slice up more Falspawn.
"These creatures are overrunning the city." Mace said as he looked to the ARK's troops.
"We need to find the Dark Falz leading them and try to force them to retreat." Xect said knowing if the Dark Falz leave the Falspawn will be easier to manage on the planet.
"Two sighted they were, Apprentice and a masked one sacking the temple they are." Yoda confirmed after he had received this information just as the attack began. The group were currently on their way to the front gate to find a transport to the Jedi Temple.
"Masked one… Persona!?" Noto gasped as he didn't think Persona would be here. This just made things a whole lot more complicated for them now.
"Another Dark Falz?" Mace asked and thus Arthur was the one who responded.
"Yes a very powerful and tricky one." Arthur said as he knew how Persona the Masked had powers from all the other Dark Falz at his disposal. Once they got to the front gate they saw the entire platform was crawling with Falspawn.
The group was forced to stop when they saw them here. "We need to find another way through." Mace said but Arthur begged to differ.
"No I'll deal with them." Arthur said as he approached the foes and began to channel his power. He in turn switched his hold on his sword and took a stance ready to fight. His stance was some sort of quick draw form as his left hand rested on the handle in a firm yet powerful grip and his right hand on his swords hilt. In turn chains on the weapon began to come undone as Arthur focused the power to what came next. The Jedi felt the raw power Arthur was packing no doubt opting to use the sword as a means to hold himself back. The Falspawn seeing the CAST all attacked only for Arthur to begin his attack. "Strike forth Yozora!" Arthur invoked and in turn drew and swung his sword and for a brief moment a crest appeared from the attack Arthur had just performed. When he did so the Jedi were shocked that with but a single strike Arthur had decimated all of the Falspawn in their way and caused some damage to the area as well. The path cleared Arthur fell to his knee using his re-sheathed Katana to keep himself from falling.
"Remarkable." Mace said as he was honestly surprised that Arthur had enough sense to hold back when needed by using that massive sword of his.
"Let's go the path is clear, it won't be long till more show up." Xect said and thus they got moving. As they headed to Arthur they helped the CAST back on his feet but he was able to stand firm.
"My apologies I try to avoid using that much power if it can be helped." Arthur said as the CAST was clearly a Braver Class with a sub-class of a Hunter to veteran PSO2 players who see him fight.
"We're not out of the woodworks yet." Xect said and thus they knew they had to move and strike now. "You two head to your temple and clear a path for the ARK's agents on the way we'll try to provide aid to the city at large." Xect said and thus Yoda and Mace understood.
"Very well, May the Force be with you." Mace said and thus the two groups parted ways once Arthur was back on his feet. With that the Three Members of the Council of Six headed off with the two Jedi Masters to provide what aid they can to the city and to the Jedi Temple.
(Meanwhile over with Yuvel's party)
The battle continued as Yuvel lead the charge to get his party through the chaos. As he fought his way through the foes it was clear he intended to best them by any means necessary. The Falspawn were many and they were just one group of many ARK's agents whom had landed on the planet.
As they fought their way through Yuvel sighed as he tried to catch his breath. It calmed for a bit but this was only the beginning. "Ok tell me again why we need to make our way to the Jedi Temple on foot?" Reggie asked as he approached their leader.
"Because there are people on the ground that need help." Zurna said as the Braver looked to the large CAST.
"Oh right I forgot." Reggie said and in turn their break came to an end when a group of Falspawn appeared roaring at the group.
"Ok break time is over guys let's keep moving!" Yuvel called out and thus the party got on the move. As they continued to fight their way through the foes it was clear they worked well together. Zurna was relying mainly on her skills as a Braver while Laura provided support via as a Force. From on near Reggie hovered by firing his rifle off at their foes flanking them as he continued his attack.
Next came Yuvel as he ran by with his sword drawn before he jumped up and sliced down on some of the Falspawn. Once he did so he blocked a few attack from one who had a powerful frontal defense. As Yuvel got its attention Reggie hovered behind and fired at the Falspawn's core on the back of its head. Following it up was Zurna who had dashed through the Falspawn using her, Braver abilities to make quick work of all of, her foes.
As this carried on Laura was providing buffs to her allies ranging from elemental to providing healing to her cherished friends. As she did this she was soon targeted by the Falspawn who went for her and thus forced her to act. Laura then switched to a pair of Jet Boots and used her Bouncer based powers to fight her way through. As she did this she even kicked out a Technique from her Jet Boots hitting the Falspawn. She then landed on the ground and switched to a pair of soaring blades that she in turn used to spin around and take out multiple Falspawn. Once this was done she took out her Fan like Talis and used its magic to cause a great deal of wind based damage to the surrounding Falspawn. Once it was done she adjusted her round glasses and in turn rejoined her friends on sight.
"We need a faster and stronger way to move." Yuvel said and in turn he had an idea. "ARK's command we need some wheels now!" Yuvel requested as he hoped ARK's can provide for them.
"Acknowledged." A member of the Tech crew of ARKs responded and thus the group looked to their arriving ride. From there it didn't take long as they saw a drop ship come down and drop down an armored vehicles with a large gun on its hood.
"Isn't that thing from?" Reggie asked and thus Yuvel smirked.
"Hell yeah it is." Yuvel retorted and thus Reggie smiled to his best friend.
"I call big gun!" Reggie called out and thus they all got ready to move.
In turn they all boarded the vehicle and took vary positions on it. Reggie got the big guns, Zurna took the mechanic and the gadget tech spot, Laura took over communications and scanners, and finally Yuvel took over the wheel.
Once inside Yuvel started up the engine and thus Laura saw the scanners. "We got company!" Laura called out and thus Yuvel saw the mass of Falspawn coming their way.
"Drive!" Zurna called out and thus Yuvel pushed the petal to the metal. The vehicle in turn drove off as Reggie opened fire on the Falspawn coming after the group. As they drove off Reggie roared out as he fired his weapon intent on taking out any obstacle in their way.
As the vehicle sped off down the path they were hitting many Falspawn and going as far as to run over any that got in their way. This was no evening drive but it sure as hell was a fun one for the ARK's Agents off to save Coruscant. The battle continued as it was clear a lot of people would suffer this day but with ARKs aid many lives would also be saved.
(Back at the Jedi Temple)
Anakin and Persona glared at each other both holding the Twin Sabers against the other. It was clear that they were pushing each other and while Anakin was fueled by duty Persona was fueled by something else. AS Persona glared at Anakin the two then charged and in turn Anakin was attacked by the Falspawn. Luckily Anakin saw them coming and sliced through them with his Lightsaber. As they continued this assault Persona went at Anakin who then blocked the attack with his Lightsaber. Following it up Persona took out his pistol and aimed it at Anakin at point blank ranger.
Seeing this Anakin acted fast and pushed Persona back and thus the two were parted. Anakin was having trouble with this guy, he kept his mind guarded and sealed giving no way for him to use the Force to counter him. As this line of thought Anakin noted how Persona was able to keep him on his toes going as far as to keep him the Jedi on guard.
"You're good." Anakin conceded as he glared at Persona.
"I have to be. I have a mission to complete." Persona said as he glared at Anakin intent on killing him.
"A mission?" Anakin asked as he noted how Persona said it. In fact now that the Jedi General took noticed something about Persona was oddly familiar to the Chosen One. As Anakin was suspicious of this Dark Falz Persona then went for the attack forcing Anakin to avoid the attack. But alas it seems Persona was give moves ahead as he changed gears against Anakin.
Persona took out a large sword similar to the one ARK's was known to use except it was a violet. As Persona swung the weapon at Anakin the Jedi was being forced to the defensive. Once that was done Persona jumped back and switched to a glaive weapon and charged at Anakin and swung the weapon down upon the Jedi. The battle between them went on as every few attacks Persona was changing to a different weapon on the spot to keep Anakin on the defensive. In fact Anakin already had a few close calls against this Dark Falz who was clearly targeting him alone.
"Master!" Ahsoka called out as she joined her Master and attacked Persona. Persona acted and jumped back putting distance between himself and the two Jedi. Seeing he was outnumbered Persona knew he had to stop pulling his punches against them. As much as he wanted to make this quick and painless for Anakin the Jedi was forcing his hand here.
But before Persona could even consider a plan to approach this he heard rumbling from nearby. The rumbling signaled something large and powerful had just been brought forth for battle. In turn Persona knew he had to fall back before he was caught up in the crossfire. But his mission also took presentence but the rumbling had caused all the Jedi still here to stop and look for the source.
(Meanwhile Jedi Council Chamber Apprentice)
Apprentice had arrived at the Jedi Councils chambers and was met with the sight of the empty room with a few Falspawn crawling about. Some of them even walked over the dead bodies of a few Jedi that were unable to best the Falspawn. Scoffing to this Apprentice looked around and thus got to her task. "This place could do for a tad bit of redecorating." Apprentice said and in turn a massive portal began to appear behind her.
Turning to it Apprentice smiled and began to gesture to something inside. "Come now sweetie mummy is letting you out to play." Apprentice cooed as from the portal a massive insect Falspawn began to appear ready to cause destruction to the Jedi at its mistress's orders. In turn a visor like red eye was seen inside the portal and in turn the massive Falspawn began to appear from the dark portal. Roaring in fury the Falspawn came forth as it seemed to be bipedal in nature with two massive long arms on its back made to cause more damage no doubt.
(Back over with Yuvel's group)
As Yuvel and his party were driving down the road up to the Jedi Temple many Falspawn tried to stand in their way. But alas they all met a grizzly end via being splattered on the dash or shot down by Reggie on the turret. As they continued to drive it was clear that they were almost at the Jedi Temple to hopefully save lives.
"We're almost there!" Laura called from her spot as she had been receiving and responding to communications trying to guide any civilian traffic to safety. Zurna was across from her handling the vehicles assortment of onboard gadgets to aid them. As they continued to drive Yuvel was focused on the road as he made his way to the Jedi Temple. He didn't know what actually compelled him to go there beyond orders but it just felt like he had to be there for the sake of others in the area.
As Yuvel drove the Jedi Temple was almost upon them as they were heading on up to the Temple steps. Just then they saw a blast from what was assumed to be the tower that held the Jedi Council Chamber. Forced to stop Yuvel and his group looked in shock as from the destroyed tower they saw a massive Falspawn appear.
"Oh come on!" Reggie called out as this day wasn't hard enough on the group it would now seem.
"We need to keep moving!" Laura called out and thus in response to her Yuvel got the gist of it.
"Understood!" Yuvel called out and thus drove off with the tires screeching as he drove off with his whole party. As they drove more Falspawn showed up intent on standing in their way and in turn were met with equal if not for greater force.
(Back at the Jedi Temple)
As Anakin and Persona kept at it they glared at each other as the Falspawn had caused significant damage to the Jedi Temple. Clearly the Jedi were blindsided by this new unknown enemy as was the Republic when the Falspawn attacked at the home front.
Persona was surrounded by both Anakin and Ahsoka as the Jedi Knight and his Padawan Learner were intent on besting Persona before any more lives were lost. Him and his fellow Dark Falz and their Falspawn servants had taken many lives and desecrated the sanctity of the Jedi Temple. It would be no surprise that many Jedi desired some form of retribution for this if their dogma allowed them that.
Still the destruction was evident as Persona knew he was running short on time as ironic as that was in the case of his life. Still he needed to work fast and if not lick his wounds and try again later with a new plan. As the three glared it was two on one as in turn Anakin and Ahsoka charged at Persona who met them head one keeping them both on his toes. Persona had been fighting for a long time and he knew how to use a wide assortment of weapons and abilities.
Persona then switched back to the lightsaber and jumped up with the blade ignited. Spinning in the air he struck down on Anakin before taking out his laser pistol and firing it off at Ahsoka. Ahsoka for her part charged in and deflected the laser shots as she charged at Persona. Getting close Persona maneuvered and got out of Anakin's hold before blocking an attack from Ahsoka. Once that was done Persona glared at his two foes knowing they were putting him on edge here.
But before Persona could make any more attacks the nearby wall busted apart and from it the Falspawn Apprentice had summoned arrived. On the creatures back was, Apprentice the Vernal herself smiling down sadistically upon all of her enemies.
"Oh great her again." Ahsoka growled as she knew Apprentice was here to make matters worse.
"Well I suppose we've made our point, wouldn't you say Persona?" Apprentice asked but Persona begged to differ yet opted not to voice his opinion.
"We haven't received word from Gemini yet." Persona defended and in turn Apprentice rolled her eyes to this.
"You know as well as I do those brats are probably binge eating right now either already done or about to finish up on their end." Apprentice said not wanting to get on Dark Falz Gemini the Doubles bad side anytime soon. After all there was a reason why he was considered the most dangerous of the Dark Falz Collective thus far.
Persona of course was silent for a moment until they heard more movement. Most of the Jedi in the temple had managed to move to safety while leaving the battle abled ones to hold the line for them all. But this sound wasn't that of a Falspawn but a machine. In turn they saw lights shining up from the destroyed gates and in turn a land based vehicle drove in and skidded to a halt on the ground. As it spun it fired its weapons upon the massive Falspawn and the smaller ones clearing the area of the dark beasts.
"Get some!" Reggie roared out as he fired the big gun on the foes before the vehicle hit the massive insect Falspawn knocking it down. Once it came to a halt the ARK's agents all ran out of the vehicle and joined up with Anakin and Ahsoka against Apprentice the Vernal and Persona the Masked. As the ARK's agents were gathered together they each had weapons ready to take out the foes but were wide eyed when they saw Persona standing there.
'Wait Persona exists here also!?' The Four Isekai Agents thoughts shocked to see Persona the Masked standing there.
"Those interlopers again." Apprentice growled as she saw the ARK's agents standing against them all.
Seeing they were outnumbered Persona began to put the pieces together. "Those Photon Users are here." Persona said as he realized what was occurring here. "And by the looks of it there is a great number more of them also." Persona said and thus he knew the Falspawn can only hold the line for so long before they were overwhelmed by the combined strength of both the Republic and ARK's.
In fact Apprentice also put the pieces together as well as she knew it was time to cut and run. "He should already be done on his end, if only we had Elder with us." Apprentice said and in turn the duo knew it was time to run. "Go deal with them!" Apprentice ordered and thus the massive Falspawn roared and charged at the group forcing them to avoid its initial attack.
As Anakin had his feet under him again he looked to Persona and Apprentice only to see them vanish through a crimson portal. "Kriff they got away." Anakin cursed but Yuvel had other thoughts.
"We got bigger problems to worry about then two runaway Dark Falz." Yuvel said while he gestured to the massive monster as Ahsoka had to agree with the Hunter.
"Your right, lets deal with this thing and aid clear the city of anymore Falspawn." Anakin said and thus it was time for some action.
"Agreed." Zurna said and thus the Falspawn roared and attacked the group of its prey.
The group got out of the way and in turn began to fight it. Yuvel started off by drawing its attention onto himself while Reggie hovered around and fired his rifle at the massive monster. As he fired he went full burst on the monster before Zurna and Laura joined in on the fight. Acting fast Laura opted to use her abilities as a Bouncer while Zurna drew her Katana. The two began to attack the massive Falspawn as they intended to take it down at all costs before it can escape to cause damage.
The battle went on as Anakin and Ahsoka aided the ARK's agents against the massive Falspawn. "Go for the red orbs on its body those are its cores and it's where that Falspawn are weakest!" Yuvel called out as he looked to Anakin and Ahsoka.
"Got it!" Ahsoka understood and thus the massive Falspawn roared out in defiance against them. As the Falspawn went for the attack the group countered as Anakin and Ahsoka used the Force to push it back. Doing so Yuvel ran by and slashed at it before stabbing into it with his Partisan after switching out weapons for it. Once that was done he jumped back before switching weapons and using the Wire Blades to cause damage to the Falspawn. Once that was done he switched out his weapons to a gunblade and opened fire on the monster aiming for its cores.
Following it up Zurna rolled by and shot off a flurry of arrows at the monster before Reggie hovered by firing off his cannon. Needless to say Anakin was impressed by their teamwork and just then Laura fired off a Technique as she had her Rod weapon back out again. As the girl continued her assault again her foe she made sure to provide support and even buffing up her allies as was needed. She even sent out an aura that healed her nearby allies granting them great aid from injuries and possibly fatigue.
As the battle continued the Falspawn was starting to take major damage thanks to their combined efforts. Parts of it were being broken off as they kept the heat on it in an attempt to end the dark monsters rampage. The battle went on as the combo of both ARK's and Jedi were starting to wear down the Falspawn who was suffering a great deal of damage due to the continued onslaught of their combined might.
Eventually it was clear the battles were starting to wind down as they in turn regrouped ready for the grand finale as it were. "Guys lets finish it off with a Photon Blast combo!" Yuvel ordered and thus the group nodded.
"We'll cover you!" Reggie called out and thus they got to work.
A combination of Photon Blasts was something those in PSO2 had come up with to stack damages and effects on top of each other against foes. This way they can provide the best possible chance for damage with as little struggle as possible on their part. The problem was that any online players who use the microphone attachments are far and few in between. Most cases many try to gather together to discuss strategies on how to take on bosses and the like before going into battle. In turn Yuvel and Laura gathered side by side and thus charge up their Photon Attacks for the Falspawn.
"Cover them!" Reggie called out as he and Zurna provided cover fire for the duo. As they did this the twin energy rings came forth from Yuvel and Laura before returning to them. In response the Falspawn went for the attack on the two only to be stopped by Anakin and Ahsoka standing against it. They slashed at it with their lightsabers causing it to stumble back from the attack.
In turn the Photons gathered and thus formed Yuvel's unicorn creature and from Laura it formed a massive fish based creature. The two flew around for a bit before unleashing their Photon attacks hitting the Falspawn and hitting the monster. It roared in pain before Yuvel and Anakin charged in and proceeded to stab into its core with their weapons. As both Yuvel's sword and Anakin's Lightsaber stabbed into the Falspawns core the red orb burst out and in turn ending this. The Falspawn roared in agony before it proceeded to fall limp and dead.
Once it was down its body broke down into dark particles known as F-Factor. This in turn meant that those still here needed to get vaccinated of the substance less they become corrupted by it. "We did it." Yuvel said as he lowered his guard a bit and saw victory had been claimed by them.
"Yeah." Laura agreed as she smiled at their acquired victory.
Just then the ARK's Ops member's communicators went off while the Jedi's own did the same. Moving a hand to the ear piece they all heard what was said on the other line. "Attention all ARK's Ops the Falspawn outbreak has been contained and abetted, Code F has come to an end." The operator said as she alerted all ARK's ops planet side of this update. "I repeat all ARK's ops Code F has been rescinded move on to aid and rescue to Civilians and Foreign Troops." The operator said and thus Anakin and Ahsoka were receiving similar updates.
"Anakin good to see your alive it seems the invasion of these creatures has ended." Obi-Wan confirmed as it was clear the Dark Falz attack had ended and with a victory for the Galactic Republic thanks to ARK's aid.
"Yeah but I just crossed paths with another Dark Falz aiding Apprentice." Anakin said as he looked to his former Master.
"Yes some ARK's agents mentioned this masked one, they called him Dark Falz [Persona] the Masked." Obi-Wan confirmed as he looked to his former Padawan learner.
"It looks like we have a lot more to talk about then." Yuvel confirmed as he approached the two Jedi as Ahsoka had to agree.
(Scene Break the Senate Building)
After a bit of time when all signs that the Dark Falz have been dealt with the two forces gathered at the Senate Building. This time the entire Council of Six were at the Senate building with those who fought Jedi and ARK's Operatives alike.
In turn Chancellor Palpatine approached the ARKs leader and said, "On behalf of those still among us. I wish to give you our thanks for protecting the very strong hold of the Republic Government, ARKs."
"There is no need to worry yourself Chancellor." Arthur said being humble to the Chancellor. "It is ARK's duty to hunt down and defeat the Falspawn wherever they may appear." Arthur confirmed no longer tired from using that hidden power of his. "Still these old joints of mine could use for less action for a time." Arthur jested a bit as he rolled is shoulder to add credence to that.
Xect opted to take command here and activated his communicator. "ARKs Operatives being relief efforts as well as any search and rescue directives. Also send down repair and construction crews to aid in rebuilding." Xect said as everyone looked to the Newman in pure shock.
Palpatine was shocked by these orders as he asked, "Surely you do not mean to do all of this for us…"
"Considering that what happened to the people that live here and the destruction caused by the Falspawn it is both the duty and obligation of ARKs to aid those caught in the crossfire." Xect said as he began to organize crews to aid the Republic. This act alone had caused many Senators to look a tad bit ashamed. No doubt they were having second thoughts over their prior votes.
Palpatine smiled to this happy to see that despite being visitors from another Galaxy ARK's were showing to be honorable allies. "As you wish, but rest assured that the people whose lives were either lost or scared because of the recent attack will know of your efforts to undo the damage caused." Palpatine said as he showed his gratitude to the ARK's operatives for all they were doing. "I'll see to it that the planetary workers assist in the rebuilding and recovery of the city." Palpatine confirmed knowing rebuilding and repairing the damages to Coruscant will be a long effort for all who were involved.
"Still something concerns me." Noto began as he rubbed his chin a bit. "We've have confirmation of two Dark Falz as part of this invasion, and from the sounds of it they also mentioned one other." Noto said and thus it was clear that a lone Dark Falz was unaccounted for during the entire battle.
"Do you believe they are still on the planet?" Palpatine asked with concern over this.
"No otherwise the Falspawn wouldn't have left like this." Noto said and thus he had a troubling theory. "Whatever it was that Dark Falz came for the monster got it and took its leave." Noto said and thus this was concerning. "Plus with all the damages it would be difficult to identify what was taken, when, and how." Noto said and in turn it was clear the Dark Falz were smarter then they appeared judging by this act of aggression.
"Do you believe the Dark Falz will side with the Separatists using whatever they took as a bargaining chip of sorts?" Palpatine asked as he knew the Falspawn were just mindless drones obeying the orders of their Dark Falz masters.
"Plausible assuming they don't outright consume all of them first." Xect added while he worked on organizing the teams to aid in rebuilding the city.
In turn Palpatine's face paled at that news. He then looked over at the destruction caused by the attack and said, fearfully, "If the Separatists gain allies in the Dark Falz then there is no telling the level of destruction that will be brought about."
In turn Arthur looked around at the assembled members of the Council of Six with him. They were all in agreement on this despite Klara being a bit haughty about it. The CAST then offered, "Maybe there is a way to prevent that." The Jedi and Chancellor Palpatine looked up at the ARKs leader with curious expressions on their faces. It was clear the CAST had an idea and looked ready to see it through.
(Scene Break the Dark Falz)
The Dark Falz were once more gathered as they're hidden hide out left them plenty of room to plan and scheme. Right now Luther was missing as the only ones there were Apprentice, Gemini, and Persona. "Well, all in all I call this a success." Apprentice said as she smirked to her fellow Dark Falz. "Luther is now inside the Republic so finding Elder shouldn't be hard on his end, now all we need to do get all friendly with the Separatists." Apprentice said as Persona nodded in agreement here.
"Yes your connection to the Insect Falspawns will make that a simple matter, considering the Geonosians." Persona said as he leaned on the wall with his arms crossed observing all of his fellow Dark Falz.
"Yes soon the Profound Darkness will be revived." Gemini Male said as he stood next to his sister.
"Of course the Profound Darkness will come back thanks to this." Gemini Female said as she stood next to her brother.
"Still those ARKs fools will surely make a mess of things for us." Apprentice said as she growled over ARKs existence as a thorn to them. "Where did they come from anyway?" Apprentice asked as they needed answers to ARKs existence.
"It matters not." Persona said getting their attention. "What matters is eliminating them and bringing forth the Profound Darkness." Persona said as he got their attention. "Anything that stands in the way of that goal is nothing more than an annoying obstacle to be eliminated." Persona said and thus they were in agreement on this.
"I suppose so, but until Luther contacts us, we shall make our next stop to the Separatists Alliance." Apprentice said in agreement to Persona's statement.
"Lucky for you, I know just who to call for this endeavor of ours." Persona said as he knew someone in the Separatist who they could ask for aid in getting some sway to allow for them to join forces. This in turn got Gemini and Apprentice intrigued with Persona and his little plot. But still they wondered exactly who Persona was under his mask to have the answers. Perhaps it did not matter he was a Dark Falz in the end and thus as a Dark Falz was tasked with aiding in the Profound Darkness' revival to the galaxy.
Still Apprentice opted to speak up and walked over to Persona gently rubbing her hand on his chest. "Well I can't say I don't like a man with a plan." Apprentice said with a sultry tone as she rubbed up to Persona. Clearly her title as Apprentice the Vernal wasn't just some fancy given title. But then in response Persona grabbed Apprentice hand and pushed her away before walking off leaving a stunned Apprentice behind. Once Persona left the room Apprentice purred in response to this. "Well hard to get, I can play that game." Apprentice said as when she wanted something she would get it by any means necessary. She then left the room next leaving Gemini behind as Gemini the Double then looked at each other before leaving the room next.
As they left they passed by a broken down Battle Droid slowly being covered by F-Factor adding it to the Falspawn's power. Gemini paid it no heed as soon none of this would matter to the galaxy at large when the Profound Darkness made its return.
