ESKK: Well here we go the anticipated Chapter 6. So I say let's begin people.
(Start Naboo)
The Nabooian cruiser entered the Naboo palace's hanger as it smoothly landed and opened the hatch. Standing there waiting were the current Queen of the Naboo, Queen Neeyutnee, and near her was the dark skin black haired human with an eye patch, head of security of Naboo, Captain Typho.
After the ramp lowered out hurried the senator from Naboo and her Gungan representative, Padme Amidala and Jar-jar Binks. The former greeted the queen and captain just before Yaga and Klara walked out. "We came as soon as we could, Milady. Have you found anymore droids?" Padme asked with concern over what the current Queen had discovered.
"Only the three." Queen Neeyutnee confirmed to her predecessor turned Senator. "You can be sure that they aren't tourists. I need you to convince the Senate, the Jedi council, or whoever is in charge of this terrible war that we are threatened." Neeyutnee said as she looked to the group.
Looking down sadly Padme lamented to this which Yaga and Klara took note of. "They'll need more proof. Finding a couple of battle droids will not be enough." Padme lamented as she looked down.
"Hey sorry question." Yaga spoke up as he raised his hand causing Klara to look shocked by him. "Yeah I just need to ask have any Falspawn been discovered just asking so if the Republic can't get involved ARKs can." Yaga offered and thus it two Neeyutnee and Typho a moment.
"Falspawn… wait you two are with thee ARK's people correct?" Typho asked as Yaga nodded.
"Yeap I'm Yaga Number Six of the Council of Six and recently made Senator Rep for ARKs." Yaga boasted striking a pose as part of his introduction. Klara in response face palmed herself blushing in embarrassment over Yaga's antics. "This girl here is Klara she holds the rank of 5 on the Council of Six and is also representing ARKs to the Republic with me." Yaga added causing Klara to roll her eyes to this.
"Idiot." Klara sighed knowing full well Yaga tended to be over the top a lot.
"Word has reached of the attack by these Falspawn creatures on Coruscant." Typho said as he had to admit it was impressive how quickly ARKs mobilized at just the hint of any Falspawn activity.
Then the captain's wrist comm. beeped and a voice came from it. "Captain Typho! The battle droid is ready for analysis." The voice said to which Typho understood.
"Oh right the Battle Droids." Klara said remembering those things were sighted hence cutting Padme's lesson for the duo short at the time.
"We can speak more on the way." Typho said and thus they were in agreement here. The group in turn headed off to the storage room like lab where they had kept the droids.
(Later the Droid Storage Room)
Placing the OMS battle droid's head on a work bench the medical droid walked over to another where a tactical droid laid. Padme and her group entered the lab as she asked the queen, "Have you been able to retrieve any information?"
"Unfortunately the Naboo security who discovered them preferred to shoot first and retrieve data later." The queen told her senator as they focused on the tactical droid on the bench. Yaga and Klara were giving the Droid a look over as this was the first time they have seen any Battle Droid.
"Add that to the list of questions." Captain Typho said as he turned to the tactical droid in their possession. Jar-jar sniffed the air as if smelling something before turning to see a small blue insect crawling out of one of the battle droids. He licked his lips and went to get it.
"So these are Battle Droids, nothing like the CAST." Yaga said as Padme had to agree after seeing Arthur and Mordred.
"Um can I?" Klara asked as she gestured to the Droid and thus Typho looked.
"Why?" He asked and thus Klara spoke up.
"We want to see if any Falspawn corruption latched onto it." Yaga said as he looked to the Tactical Droid.
"Fine but don't touch it." Typho said and thus Klara took out her staff and channeled her Photons through it. Once she did so the energy washed over the Droid before it died down leaving everyone amazed.
"It's clean no need to worry." Klara said as she looked to the others among the gathered. In turn with a sigh of relief the Medical droid proceeded to bring over a saw with it as it reached the head of the droid and cut open the top of its head as it then began to disconnect its optical circuitry.
"I'm getting a bad feeling about this." Threepio murmured as he turned to his mistress. "With your permission, Senator Padme I would like to shut down before I receive sensory overload."
"Request: denied." Padme replied bluntly to the Protocol droid who stood in shock to his request being denied here.
"Denied?" Threepio asked horrified that he had to be active during all of this.
"3P0 you may be able to get information out of him." Padme told her gold plated droid, as the medical droid began to reconnect certain wires for the prisoner.
"In other words don't be a chicken and step up, dummy." Klara said as Threepio huffed at Klara's rudeness.
"How rude of her." Threepio said as he then went to follow his given orders.
The Droid-icon was reactivated as it sat up on the table and said, "Cannot see, where am, I?"
Getting his cue, Threepio approached the confused Droid-icon, "You are in very capable hands, on board a separatist ship. Count Dooku would like to reward you himself for your bravery."
"Bravery?" The Droid asked confused trying to recall how he was injured.
"For your assignment on Naboo." Threepio corrected himself as he got closer.
"Do try to activate what left of your memory…we all want to hear your tale of medical heroics." Threepio pleased as he leaned in a bit.
"Th-the virus." the Droid said his voice glitches out a bit.
C3P-0 looked to her mistress who smiled back and dig for more. "Yes the virus. You do remember. Please go on." Threepio said hoping to get as much information as he could. Unaware to any of them Jar-Jar was having a little event of trying to hunt some perceived food. And in turn they all failed to notice his tongue get stuck in the gears of an astromech droids head.
Meanwhile the Tactical Droid continued its report. "A small amount had leaked from the lab… Naboo cannot know." The Tactical Droid reported as Jar-Jar was having a situation behind their backs. "Lab must remain secret." The Tactical Droid further reported causing many eyes to go wide eyed to this.
"A secret lab on Naboo? Where?! You must tell me!" C3P-0 added sounded a little too desperate to know. Padme moved to stop the droid from revealing the truth but it was too late as Klara face palmed herself for this.
Threepio's tone quickly alerted the Droid of the deception and thus he put the pieces together. "The lab's supposed to be a secret, this is no Separatist Ship." The Tactical Droid said realizing it's been tricked into revealing what could be sensitive information.
In response Captain Typho pulled his blaster on the blind Droid. "Unless you want to be a box of spare parts you'll tell us were that lab is." Typo said and in turn Klara joined in as she pointed her rod at the Droid.
"And that's assuming there's enough of you left for spare parts!" Klara said as she was a walking bomb after all of Tsunadere fury.
"Hey look out!" Yaga called out as the sound of toppling shelves and Droid parts were heard. The group all looked and quickly got out of the way of it. During this the Droid realized what it was but alas it was to slow to act and avoid the debris.
"Uh-oh." The Tactical Droid muttered just before the stacks crashed down on it, ending its life swiftly.
Captain Typho went to investigate and surely the Droid's sparking corpse was evident that it was destroyed. "We'll never get anything out of him now." Typho said and thus Yaga sighed.
"Great so we know there's a secret lab creating some kind of Virus but we don't know where it is." Yaga said as he in turn sat down cross legged and pouted. The four remaining humans of Padme, Typho, the Queen, and Klara looked over to Jar-Jar as their clumsy Gungan representative walked to them, sad by what he thought was ruin the interrogation.
"Mesa sorry…it was an accident." Jar-Jar apologized as they were hardly making headway but some information was better than no information it seems. Just then Klara yelped in shock as she jumped up causing the group to go wide eyed to this.
"Big bug evil bug!" Klara cried out as she clearly hated bugs with a passion. As Padme saw the creature on the ground she kneeled down to look at it inspecting the creature in question as Klara kept her distance from it. That distance meant using Yaga to hide away from the little parasite.
"Is this what you were after?" Padme asked as she looked to the bug in question.
Placing his hands together in joy Jar-jar explained, "Meesa loving! Thesa is very good tongue-grabbing. Found only found in one placen."
"Where?" Padme asked getting a sneaking suspicion about the bug involving the droids. In fact Klara and Yaga had similar thoughts though Klara wanted to have as much distance between insects and her as possible.
"In mud under the parlote tree." Jar-jar answered to which the pieces began to fall into place.
"Like the mud on these droids…" Padme said as she looked to the Droids before she figured out where it was. Turning to the Queen and the captain she said, "The Eastern swamp. I think Jar-jar found the location of the lab."
(Later)
It didn't take long to get the message out to the Republic and ARKS as they were met with Yoda, Mace Windu, and Arthur who all stood side by side. Yaga was explaining to the three what they had found and in turn Typhon added what needed to be added.
"They're planning an attack on Naboo. There's no other explanation." Typho said as he looked to the group.
"Delicate, the situation is. Two Jedi, we will send." Yoda told them through the hologram while Arthur crossed his arms to this.
"I'll have one of my best ARKs ops sent out as well and have Xect send a chemical team and a medical as added aid." Arthur said knowing full well this was going to be tricky for a lot of people.
"May I recommend General Kenobi and General Skywalker?" Padme suggested as she had stepped forward for this. Relations with the Gungans are a little…tense now but they trust General Kenobi like one of their own." Padme suggested and in turn Yaga smirked.
"Good idea, in fact mind bringing in Yuvel and his team, to head things here, those guys are tough and Laura is one of the Best Forces in ARKs." Yaga said crossing his arms and grinning while giving praise to Yuvel's team.
In response the Two Jedi Masters looked to each other contemplating things. But they saw Padme's logic and knew that it was a wise decision. "Send them, we will." Yoda said confirming to Padme's request.
"I won't deny Laura's talent as a Force, very well we shall send Yuvel's team to accompany medical, chemical, and security teams." Arthur said as he remembered how people panicked during the last pandemic their world had suffered through. "Some of our Operatives have been studying your medicine so we won't just send random soldiers to provide aid." Arthur said and in turn Padme nodded grateful to the CAST decision and ARK's operatives taking initiative.
In turn the holograms disappeared and Padme turned to Captain Typho more than her queen. "I want as much information before they arrive. See if you and Threepio can download any of the other battle droid's memories." Padme said as she then went to her own spot in this. "I'm going to find that lab." Padme said as she in turn began to take her leave.
Concerned for their planet's senator's safety Captain Typho had to ask. "Are you sure that's wise?" He asked and in turn Yaga and Klara stepped up.
"That's why we'll go with her, two members of the Council of Six helping her will send any baddie running just by our mere presence." Yaga boasted as Klara knew they had power to back up their posturing. Hearing this Padme smiled and in turn the group of four departed to find the secret lab with the virus.
"You don't have to your still new to the position of Senators." Padme offered as they left with her.
"And you're a seasoned Senator what's your point?" Klara countered and thus Padme knew she was beast in this small debate.
(Scene Break in the Plains)
The four after changing into hazmat suits had boarded a Naboo Scout Ship as they awaited for the ARK's fleet arrival with their requested aid. Right now they were travelling to where the Tree Jar-Jar had mentioned was located while Klara was going over her equipment for anything of use. Meanwhile Yaga just kept talking without any ending to it.
"Gotta say Naboo really loving the plains lots of farm stuff plenty of ways to annoy Klara with it." Yaga said as the guy just never stops talking.
"Yaga just shut up we have a job to do." Klara complained as there were two things annoying about Yaga. His posturing and boasting, the fact he never stops talking, and most of all his teasing which some could argue is just brotherly in nature. Padme had no problem with it since she did find it humorous at times. But she also noted that Klara was a tough one to decipher. On one hand she hated it but by the looks Padme swore the girl turned Representative of ARKs secretly enjoyed it.
Some had already asked why Padme would take these two under her wing. Some would argue it was for political gain with ARKs for the sake of Naboo or for her own gain but that was far from it. For starters it was to gain peaceful relations between the Republic and with ARK's as they settle into their Galaxy after their long journey from parts unknown. They were an exploration fleet and from the sound of things have been travelling for a great deal of time. From what she gathered their original home world was no more hence why they built such a massive colony fleet to explore the stars in hopes of finding a new home.
Of course even ARK's themselves weren't 100% sure since it seems many of them were born into the Fleet. Though it did beg to question why so few births have been noted. Yaga explained at the time it was that everyone kind of got busy with one thing or another and their birthrates kind of declined for it. That and they had an incident with the Falspawn causing this cut in births also. Luckily they already had a few births as of late so it wasn't anything to worry themselves over going forward.
Another reason Padme had taken the two under her wing was because of Klara. The girl was young and had managed to gain her position as a member of their leading party on grit alone. In a sense it reminded Padme of herself being the youngest Queen of Naboo at the time and caused a desire to nurture Klara's career. The girl had potential but she had to reign in her haughty nature in order to become a better Senator.
It was a long trip as they scanned the area for their target and it went on until they approached a stream of Gungan water and noticed the dead Shaaks. They landed to investigate and what they saw disturbed the group. What could cause Shaaks to be killed quickly and result in their corpses to become blue like that with red eyes?
"Well looks like someone is looking a bit blue huh?" Yaga quipped to which Klara restrained herself from blasting him with her Rod.
"Yaga just stop now is not the time for jokes." Klara said as she was a bit disturbed by this scene.
"Hey the scene is disturbing just trying to lighten things up a bit." Yaga said as he too found this scene a bit troubling.
"This is Bombad…whatsa happened to them?" Jar-Jar asked as he was worried like the others.
"It's the plague. We're definitely getting close." Padme said as she saw that it had to be the Separatist Bio-Weapon.
"Great a pandemic is the last thing anyone needs." Klara said as she investigated the scene. But she was no bio expert she was more of the blow shit up sort of girl in battle.
But while Jar-jar wasn't looking someone attacked Padme from behind and then Jar-jar was pushed forward. Standing there was a pink female Gungan who had her web leak ears tied back in a ponytail with a straw hat over her head, in her hands was a shock staff that kept sending electricity into Jar-jar every time she rams it against him.
Acting fast Yaga and Klara moved in and Yaga used his Combat Knuckles to force the staff off Jar-Jar. The Gungan woman managed to pull back unaware as to whom she was taking on. In turn Klara sent off a small burst of air at the Gungan knocking her back before Yaga came in and kicked the staff out of her hands. Klara caught the weapon and kept it away while pointing her Rod at the Gungan woman.
Seeing she was beaten the Gungan woman went on to demand her answers. "Whosa are you?" She asked as she glared at the new arrivals here.
"We should be asking you that." Klara said as she had her Rod trained on the Gungan woman before her.
"By the way while we're on the subject why you not wearing a hazmat suit don't you know there's a plague on the loose?" Yaga asked as Klara then glared at Yaga for spilling the beans about that major information.
"Yousa okeey-day, Is not in the air. Is in the water." The Gungan said and in turn the group all looked to each other. Taking a chance at this Gungan's word Padme lowered her weapon and took off her helmet to fins that the Gungan was right. Following her up was Yaga and Klara and with it Yaga took a deep breath of long awaited fresh clean Naboo country air.
"Who are you?" Padme asked once she confirmed the plague wasn't airborne.
"Meesa Peppi Bow." The pink Gungan introduced herself to which they all committed that to memory.
"We think the virus that made your animals sick came from the Perlote tree." Padme explained to the herder Gungan and in turn Yaga jumped in.
"So as Senator of Naboo and Members of ARKs Council of Six it's our duty to see this Plague destroyed!" Yaga called out and in turn struck a pose once more attempting to look heroic here.
Ignoring Yaga the Gungan herder continued her explanation of things. "Yousa follow thisa river, Yousa finda yousa Perlote." Peppi explained as she pointed upstream of the river while Yaga was wide eyed at this.
"Did she just ignore my heroics?" Yaga asked aloud and thus Klara smirked at Yaga crossing her arms enjoying Yaga's suffering.
"Meesa take you." Peppi offered but the group all were in agreement against this.
"No, Peppi, you stay here." Padme warned, not wanting to take another person with her, fearing for the female Gungan's life. She already had to worry about Yaga and Klara's life when they basically invited themselves to this mission.
Placing a hand on the pink Gungan's shoulder Padme assured, "You'll be going home soon, I promise. I'll send some soldiers to pick you up and take you back to Theed."
Feeling appreciating for Padme's kindness, Peppi gave a smile and nodded. She wanted to help them find the cause of her Skaar's deaths, but she had to agree to the Senator. In turn the group of four took their leave to find the plague and hopefully destroy it before it's released. Unknown too many of them the combination of the Dark Falz and the Separatists will cause them even more problems.
(Later in the Swamp Lands)
The four were now in the Swamp as Klara clearly did not want to be here. "Swamps why did it have to be swamps." Klara said as she knew the things that hide in swamps. "No offense to your people Jar-Jar but I don't like swamps and what tends to hide in them." Klara said as she hated bugs and any multi-legged crawlers out there.
"Oh come on Klara it's just a little swamp plenty of stuff to eat around here if you know where to look." Yaga said with a happy-go-lucky tone as he lifted up a log and pulled out what looked to be a worm. Jar-Jar knew it was edible and then saw how Yaga slurped up the worm like it was a noodle without any trouble.
"Oh yousa would like Gungan food." Jar-Jar said as Yaga grinned to this.
"Invite me at your own risk buddy I'd probably eat up all the food your people have." Yaga laughed as Klara saw the whole exchange and went green in the face.
"You guys have disgusting eating habits." Klara said as she looked to Yaga and Jar-Jar forming some odd bromance between them.
Padme rolled her eyes reminding herself that at heart Klara was still a child despite denying the fact before others. Padme then reminded herself they had a job to do and thus went to focus. "Keep your eyes open. Look out for anything out of the ordinary." Padme said to which Yaga nodded.
"You got it Patty." Yaga said and thus Klara sighed in frustration while Padme was surprised by this.
"Patty?" Padme asked and thus Klara went to explain for Padme.
"Oh great he's given you a nickname I am so sorry, he likes you." Klara said as she viewed Yaga liking anyone as possible some sort of death sentence. However the two did not notice as a rock they passed began to rise from the ground to reveal a security camera hidden. It began turning until its lens found the beings that made it activate, focusing on the three humans and the Gungan.
(Meanwhile in a hidden location)
In a dark room, surrounded by machines stood a life form with gloves and a lab coat watched what his camera saw when it turned to the darkest corner of the room.
"I suppose one cannot have too many lab rats." The Strange Male Lifeform said as he saw the group walking through the swamp. With a sinister smiled he looked over to his cohort and looked ready to act. "Please, escort our guests inside." He ordered and in turn the Battle Droids nodded and went to follow the order.
"Roger-Roger." The Battle Droid said as it then went with the Super Battle Droid to carry out the given order.
(Back up on the Surface)
Back in the Swamp, Yaga, Klara, Jar-jar, and Padme continued searching for the laboratory that was developing this new Separatist bioweapon. Klara was using her Rod to move things around so she wouldn't be touching the mud and be jumped by insects while Yaga was having no problems with it. They kept searching until the clumsy Gungan failed to watch where he was going before he stepped on a broken off branch from one of the trees and fell face first into the mud, yelling loudly in surprise. His body collided with a metallic thud of a sound. Padme, concerned for her friend, hurried to Jar-Jar's side and saw him getting up enough for the four to see a metal hatch.
Surprised by his discovery, Yaga patted Jar-Jar on the back while even Klara was surprised by this. "A hatch!" Jar-Jar exclaimed loudly as he saw the Hatch as well.
"Well I think we just found the lab." Klara said happy to be leaving this Swamp Sooner than was expected. Activating her communicator Padme spoke into it. "Captain Typho, I think we're standing right on top of the lab. I need a geo-scan of coordinates SP127." Padme informed and in turn went to continue her investigation of the swamp area. As she was talking however the camera beeped before retreating back into the earth.
Getting on her knees Padme continued the investigation as Yaga joined her in looking at the hatch. In turn she saw there was no latch and no key pad to open the hatch below their feet. "No way we're gonna open this…" Padme said and I turn Klara came up with her Rod at the ready.
"I can open it right up." Klara said as she pointed her Rod at the hatch charging one of her Techniques to blast a hole into the secret enemy lab.
"Yeah you could and also let every Droid inside know we're here regardless if you make it through or not." Padme reasoned as Yaga looked ready for it.
"Come on we can handle these hunks of tin cans they aren't much of a challenge in comparison to Falspawns." Yaga said while punching his fists together.
"Yes or you can risk releasing their virus as well." Padme said and thus the two deflated over that one. "We'll just have to-" Padme began until she was cut off by a new less friendly arrival.
"Freeze! Hold it right there!" A familiar mechanical voice cried, interrupting her. The two turned to notice they were surrounded by battle droids. Yaga already had his fists out while Klara had her rod at held out ready to fight their way out in case they need to.
Just then Yaga had a brilliant idea and then elbowed Klara and got her attention. She was then shocked when Yaga raised his hands as if to surrender and thus Klara saw her idiot was planning to do something here.
(Later in the secret Lab)
"Yousa let us go!" Jar-jar demanded as he and Padme was forced into the lab with battle droids aiming their blasters at them while in the middle was a Faust. A Faust was a humanoid species from a planet in the galaxy, they are a tall, slender humanoid figure, had a double set of eyelids, light-colored eyes. It has long, humanoid faces with slanted, almond-shaped eyes, a long nose, large ears and a cranial ridge. He was also wearing a lab coat and gloves.
It was also noted that the four were forced out of their Hazmat suits and were of course tied up also. "Let us go you jerk!" Klara yelled as she struggled to get loose.
Padme glared at the Faust no doubt not appreciating being brought down here like this. "Who are you? Why are you holding us?" She demanded looking ready to act if she could and fight for her freedom from this unknown Faust.
Ignoring her questions, the Faust pulled out a pair of spectacles and examined the Gungan ambassador. "What wonderful specimens." HE said with a smile while looking over Jar-Jar. Next he went to Yaga who smirked at the Faust as if he held all the cards here. "Well he could be useful for several experiments." He said before moving on to Klara. AS the Faust looked at Klara he had to jump back when the girl snapped at him showing she had a well place fight or flight instinct that was leaning more on fight. "She's clearly a spitfire." He said before lowering himself to look at Padme, he saw her turning away from him. "What's a life form like you doing in a swamp like this?" He asked knowing these three humans wouldn't normally be this far from the city.
"I could ask you the same thing." Padme spat back with a glare torts this clear enemy.
"Thanks to the support of my compassionate friends in the Separatist alliance, I am creating life!" The scientist answered while placing the spectacles on his belt.
"Howsa yousa creating life?" Jar-jar asked his eyes narrowed suspicious.
Looking back to the Gungan the mad doctor smiled, "I'm so pleased you inquired. A demonstration is in order." HE said clearly taking pride in his work before walking over to a cabinet with glass vials of some kind of blue liquid in them. He took one vial out and hold it for the group to see. "Allow me to present, the return of the infamous Blue Shadow Virus!" The man introduced and thus Padme was shocked by this.
"The Blue Shadow Virus?" Padme asked, suspiciously when she heard the name clearly knowing what it was. "I thought that deadly disease was extinct." Padme said as Yaga and Klara looked confused.
"Wait what?" Klara asked as she heard diseases being mentioned.
"Yes it was wiped from the galaxy generations ago, but I have given it life again." The Faust boasted as Yaga was confused as was Klara.
"Yousa no creating life, Yousa taking life! Yousa poison the Gungan water!" Jar-jar accused as he glared at the Faust and thus Yaga had to ask.
"Ok I'm lost. What the heck is the, Blue Shadow Virus, anyway?" Yaga asked as he looked to the group.
"Ah so you must be one of those ARKs visitors." Faust said as clearly ARK's existence in this Galaxy has spread far and wide. "Well for our newly arrived guest I shall be quick, the Blue Shadow Virus is a deadly disease from generations ago that had wiped out scores of people." The Doctor said as Yaga and Klara paid attention. "Symptoms of it include red eyes and change in skin pigment to blue, hence the name Blue Shadow Virus." He explained and thus Klara and Yaga went wide eyed knowing since it was supposed to be extinct it resurfacing meant bad news.
"Ok yeah the whole mad scientist bit has been done to death!" Yaga said and glared at the mad doctor before him. "I mean come on it's like my buddy Jar-Jar said you're not creating anything just taking lives!" Yaga called out as Klara was carefully working on freezing the cuffs to bust herself out of here.
Dr. Vindi smile grew as he agreed with the Gungan's and Yaga's statement as he turned around with a glower. "Unfortunately, in its natural form, the Blue Shadow Virus, thrives only in water. Until I improved upon that weakness." The Doctor said as he then placed the vial of the virus on a small platform before heading over to a machine where a lever was located. He then pulled the lever bolts of lightning hit the vial, turning the liquid strain into a gas form much to everyone's shock. When it ended all eyes were widened at the liquid in the vial was now a gas.
He laughs as he takes the vial in hand and told the two surprised officials, laughing. "Your eyes do not deceive you, I have perfected an airborne strain of the Blue Shadow Virus." The mad Doctor boasted as all eyes were widened in shock.
"Son of a bitch." Yaga said as he was surprised at what he found. He didn't know what the Virus was exactly or how much damage it could do but judging by Padme and Jar-Jar's reactions it was something lethal. In turn Klara kept her work up trying to be subtle at what she was currently doing.
Small tapping sounds, were heard as a LEP servant droid approached, holding what seems to be a bomb. "This is the last of the bombs doctor." The Droid reported as it held the Bomb to its master.
"I'm well away this is the last, you think I loose count?" He snapped at the droid taking the bomb causing it to flinch in response before he went to the table. Taking the vial in his hand the mad doctor continued his lecture on the subject. "The virus in its gaseous form, combined with these bombs, will be release the Blue Shadow Virus BACK into the galaxy, more potent than ever before." He boasted while butting the vial into the Bomb in question and in turn Yaga knew they had to hurry and stop him before that can even happen.
"Are you insane?! The Blue Shadow Virus is a deadly disease, no life forms is immune to it! That's why it was eradicated!" Padme asked horrified by this serving as incentive for Klara to act fast to undue her bonds.
"You mean, Murdered!" The Doctor roared back as Yaga saw this guy had a few screws loose. The Doctor then handed the bomb back to the small droid the mad doctor took it from. "Take this away." He ordered calmly as Klara was almost ready to act.
"Okay." The droids reply before walking away with the bomb in its arms.
Returning to his four captives the Doctor continued his rant. "Meanwhile, thousands and thousands of so-called 'superior life forms' are spreading their disease of war throughout the galaxy." He accused but unknown to him Padme had her eyes on the droid with the bomb before returning to the doctor. "Perhaps, they are the ones that should be eradicated!" He ranted to which was ended with the Droids grabbing them by the arms and taking them away.
(Later that day at the Naboo Palace Theed City)
Outside of the Naboo palace was a republic gunship followed by an ARK's Drop Ship flying into the city. As the gunship entered the hanger the dropship from ARKs hovered over the ground before releasing Yuvel and his team from it. Yuvel had changed outfits to one he felt was more fitting for combat as he was currently wearing the Avenger base outfit with his Nox coat over it but no accessories this time for him. Once they landed on the ground they headed over to meet with Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Ahsoka who departed their own gunship.
Approaching them was captain Typho and following was the female Gungan that Padme, Yaga, Klara and Jar-jar had met. "General Kenobi, Anakin. We're so-" The Captain began only to be cut off by Anakin.
"Where's Senator Amidala?" Anakin asked, interrupting The Guard Captain.
"She went to look for the lab with the ARK's representatives she was mentoring, Yaga and Klara believe their names are." The captain told them to which Anakin was shocked by this.
"And you let her go!?" He asked sounding scared over Padme possibly getting hurt out there.
"Senator Padme can be very hard to stop once she made up her mind." Threepio interjected with the reminder to Anakin of how Padme tends to be.
"Good point. I know what you mean." Anakin said as he looked away from this. In turn Yuvel approached Anakin in hopes of helping him. "Don't worry, she has two members of the Council of Six and let me say those two aren't slouches in the field." Yuvel said to which it helped put Anakin's mine at ease a bit.
In turn Typho then gestured to the pink female Gungan near him. "This is Peppi Bow. She was the last person to see them. Padme sent her here to safety." Typho explained to which she had her story for this.
"Theysa looken for the sick-maker." The pink Gungan told them to which Reggie tilted his head over how she spoke.
"Was there anyone else with them?" Yuvel asked as he looked to the group.
"Yes "Representative Binks was with her." Typho reported to which this made things a tad bit more complicated for them.
R2 gave a worried, whirling sound in response as it was clear Jar-Jar was not a good partner to have in this sort of delicate situation. "Yeah you, and me both little buddy." Reggie said as he was also worried for them even though he's never met either of them before.
"With your permission General we'd like to begin the search." Yuvel said and thus Anakin nodded to this.
"Alright go then and Ahsoka go with them just in case." Anakin said giving the ok to Yuvel and his party while giving Ahsoka the order to help with the search.
"You got it Master." Ahsoka said and in turn Yuvel and his group headed out with Ahsoka and Peppi to begin searching for the missing Senator of Naboo and ARKS Leaders.
Once they were gone Anakin approached the one eyed Captain as he wanted some answers. "Why didn't you send someone to look for them?" Anakin asked as he looked to the Captain.
"Considering latest developments we thought it was best to wait for you." The captain answered in turn getting a concerned look from both Jedi.
"What latest developments?" Obi-wan asked as whatever it was clearly had cause for concern.
"See for yourself…" Captain Typho said indicating them to follow to which they did to see what has Captain Typho cause for this sense of concern.
(Later in the Lab)
Captain Typho led Anakin and Obi-Wan to a lab were a battle droid's head was resting in the center of the hologram table. "We did a robo-lobotomy on the battle droids and came up with this piece of memory." Typho said and in turn activated the images to show the images of the same mad scientist who captured the others.
"Who is that?" Obi-wan asked, seeing the hologram of the Faust.
"Dr. Nuvo Vindi. The senior medic of the Perma families. He disappeared nearly ten years ago." Captain Typho revealed as they saw the image of the scientist in question.
"Good news, my soulless automatons friends. We now have enough of the blue shadow virus to start filling the bombs." Vindi revealed as the Droid paid attention in the memory.
"He said bombs…" Threepio said as he picked up what was said making him nervous.
"We will only need to send one bomb to each key star system." Vindi announced as everyone listened to the memory. "We will only need to send one bomb to each key star system." Vindi announced as the plan was straight forward on this. "Work quickly. I want them ready for delivery by-" The mad doctor ordered, however the bit of memory ended as it didn't fill anyone inside a good feeling.
"If those bombs get delivered. We'll be facing a galaxy wide plague. The war would be the least of our worries." Obi-wan said knowing full well that could very well put a lot of lives at risk and also kill many more lives.
"There is some good news." He said activating the holo-table again shows many short vertical cylinder connected to each other by a series of tubes. "Senator Amidala was able to find the lab. She sent us the coordinates and we were able to get a Geo-scan of the area." The Nabooian Guard Captain said as he showed the image of the secret Lab.
"It's enormous." Obi-wan commented as he sees the scan of the laboratory.
"Looks like there are three entry points." Captain Typho then pointed at the three highest cylinder which highlighted when he pointed to them.
He then pointed to a small cylinder that was in the middle of the complex. "This appears to be the main lab." He informed the Jedi as they saw the room in question.
Obi-wan looked to the captain, having another question for him. "And the bombs?" Obi-Wan asked as the Jedi knew well if those bombs got out they were in some deep shit.
"There appears to be an above average of radiation in this area." Captain Typho informed the Jedi master as it highlighted itself when it was close to him. "It's probably where they are assembling the Bombs." Typho estimated and in turn the situation is becoming direr by the second for the combined group.
"If Padme alerted them to our presence in anyway." Obi-Wan began as he estimated the risks of this mission until Anakin cut the Jedi off.
"If Padme's in there, guns blazing. She could get killed." Anakin cut as he looked to his former master as he was greatly worried for Padme and her home planet of Naboo.
"It's a risk we have to take! Dr. Vindi and those bombs must not leave the lab." Obi-Wan defended knowing they had to make a difficult call.
"And if they, or we, set off one bomb during the attack?" Anakin said knowing the risks were high for this mission.
"Better to have one planet infected than the entire galaxy." Obi-wan concluded the debate with a solemn tone knowing if the Blue Shadow Virus airborne strain gets out the death toll would be incomprehensible.
(Meanwhile in the Swamp Land)
The Sun began to set as twilight made its way in. As the group entered the Swamp Reggie had his rifle out ready to fire at any threat upon them. Nearby Laura, Zurna, and Yuvel followed after Peppi and Ahsoka all of whom were on Shaak's. Eventually the group arrived at the spot Padme, Jar-Jar, Klara, and Yaga had vanished from earlier that same day.
"This the ship belonging to them." Peppi said as she pointed at the ship in question.
"So where the heck are they then?" Reggie asked as they looked around for the missing people.
"You got me." Reggie said as Yuvel then jumped off the Shaak.
"I'll scout around see if we can find anything." Yuvel said as he began to look for tracks to follow.
"Hey Yuvel It looks like we won't need to." Zurna said as she took note to something on the ground.
"She's right." Ahsoka began as she and Peppi jumped off the Shaak they were riding. "Their tracks end here." Ahsoka said as she saw the end of the path with their footprints.
"Great a dead end." Laura said as she looked to the tracks.
Just then a mechanical buzzing was heard, causing the group to look torts the source. In turn they saw that Peppi was rising into the air before all eyes looked down to see a scope. Using a rock as cover, raised high enough the scope began to spin around scanning the area no doubt after they set off the scopes pressure plate. The Padawan and ARK's operatives all looked and began to move several steps ahead of it, keeping out of sight and in its blind spot as she said, softly, "Peppi! It's a scope. Don't let them see you."
Reggie of course acted fast and jumped to the cover nearby to stay as hidden as possible despite his large size. Peppi could do nothing else but to try and keep her balance while the scope spun around slowly. Just as it was getting closer to the beast Ahsoka leapt up high and tackled Peppi behind a very large, exposed tree root. Following her example as well as Reggie's the other ARK's ops hid in behind the natural nature of the area while Reggie hid as well. Zurna and Yuvel went for hiding in the tree itself while Reggie hid behind it. Laura of course opted to hide with Ahsoka and Peppi in hopes of avoiding the scopes detection. The scope wasn't able to see the hidden heroes and one civilian as the camera focused on the Nabooian animal nearby. The six all poked out their heads from varying hiding spot to see the camera jerk a bit before lowering itself back underground when it found nothing save for the local wild life.
"Well at least we have a clue how they got captured." Reggie said from behind the tree making sure not to be seen. Regardless they all looked to each other as they knew that they need to tell the Togruta's mentor and Master Kenobi what they had discovered.
(Later back at the city)
Anakin and Obi-Wan were seen in the hanger as the sun began to set. Anakin was pasting back and forth impatiently while Obi-Wan was calmly sitting patiently waiting for news. It was then that Anakin patient began to run out as he was clearly on edge over all of this. It was only a matter of time before Anakin's patience and stress reached its peak.
"Where are they?" Anakin demanded as he was truly worried for them.
Obi-wan who was sitting nearby on some crates watched him and said to his former apprentice, "Patience. They'll be here in a moment." It was then Obi-Wan tried to calm down Anakin another way knowing how he can be. "You seem on edge." Obi-Wan noted like it wasn't plainly obvious to everyone here.
"There's a good chance we're about to destroy all life on this planet, including ours, the Senator's, and very likely Three of our ARK's allies major figures so yes, I'm a bit on edge! Why aren't any of you?" Anakin snapped at his former master knowing full that a lot of shit will go down if they screw this up.
"I'm better at hiding it." Obi-Wan said as it was evident he was better at hiding what he was feeling.
Just then Anakin's communicator went off to which Anakin gave it a look over. "Master are you there?" Ahsoka asked and in turn Anakin answered.
"Did you find her?" Anakin asked, trying to keep calm.
(Ahsoka and Yuvel's group)
"Negative I'm pretty sure she's inside the lab." Ahsoka said as in turn Yuvel cut in.
"The whole area is wired with pressure sensors. There's no way to get in without being detected." Yuvel said as he spoke into the communicator. "We think we can pass Reggie off as a droid and have him go in to open the gates assuming the Separatists don't know about ARK's allying with the Republic or the CAST." Yuvel said as that was in fact a good idea to use.
Obi-Wan hearing this cut in on the conversation. "It's a good start to a plan but we still need more." Obi-Wan said before a map appeared on Ahsoka holo communicator. "I need you to detonate a bunker bomb at the south end of the facility." Obi-Wan instructed showing the image of the Secret Underground Lab.
"I need you to detonate a bunker bomb at the south end of the facility." Obi-Wan ordered as he high-lighted the area for the bomb. "It should cause a nice distraction and seal off the bomb area, while we come in through the hatches." He said and thus Ahsoka and the ARK's Operative knew their mission.
"You can count on me." Ahsoka said until Anakin cut in.
"Rex, his men, and some help from members of ARKS Ops, will be right behind you, Snips." Anakin said and in turn they ended the communication line.
"Ok Reggie… get their attention." Yuvel said and thus Reggie took out his rifle and started walking but in this case he walked in a robotic way acting more like a Droid which helped being of the CAST race from ARKS.
"You sure this will work?" Ahsoka asked as Reggie kept walking.
"We'll just have to wait and find out." Yuvel said as the cameras came out and saw Reggie walking.
The group waited for the Battle Droids to come out and by the looks of it they didn't have to wait long. About a good 10 or 20 minutes in the Battle Droids rose up and aimed their rifles at Reggie. At least until they lowered said blasters. "Is that one of ours?" A battle droid asked as they saw Reggie there.
"What unit are you in?" The Droid asked and thus Reggie acted fast.
"Roger-Roger." Reggie responded making his voice deep and robotic here.
"WE asked what unit are you in." The Droid demanded only for Reggie to reached torts his neck.
"Roger-Roger." Reggie said grabbing his neck signally a bad vocal processor.
"His Vocal Processor must be damaged, let's bring him in and fix it." The battle droid said and in turn Reggie followed after them until he was brought into the Lab.
"Phase 1 is a go." Yuvel said as he saw how their plan played out.
(Meanwhile with the Prisoners)
"So Doc gotta ask." Yaga began as he was tied up with Padme, Jar-Jar, and Klara. "You got plans on how to keep old Big Blue from nailing Separatist worlds? Like maybe an antidote. I mean you made the strain so you gotta have a plan to cure it." Yaga said as Dr. Vindi was trying his hardest to ignore the chatterbox that was named Yaga. "Or were you too lazy to think that one up?" Yaga asked as Dr. Vindi knew what Yaga was trying to do and left him be for the time being.
"Do you have an off switch by chance?" Dr. Vindi asked and thus Klara went wide eyed.
"Oh no he had to ask." Klara sighed knowing what came next.
"Sure I do it's next to the rectum or is that the ON switch?" Yaga quipped as he could not help himself with that vulgar joke. When Vindi growled Yaga kept up his question for the Doctor. "Oh come on Doc lecture is over already, I was so busy taking notes." Yaga said as Dr. Vindi was using every ounce of self-control he had while he began to scan the four for his future experiments.
When his scanner fell upon Klara he noticed a large amount of unknown energy coming from her. "Now what is this?" He asked unaware his secret lab had recently been infiltrated.
"Get that thing away from me you pervert!" Klara yelled as she glared at the Doctor. Though Klara while not voicing it finds his degree and/or Medical License to be questioned.
"Possibly my next greatest research venture." HE said
(With Reggie)
Reggie had just finished with his gunblade mopping the floor with the Battle droids he just off and was in turn dusting his hands of them. They never saw it coming seeing as Reggie was shouldering his equipped gunblade.
"Jeez stupid and gullible a deadly combo against a smart guy." Reggie taunted as he saw the destroyed battle droids. "Now let's see if I can handle security a little bit until backup arrives." Reggie said as he in turn began to move to locate any more Battle Droids about. Reggie had his rifle once more and began looking for more Battle Droids. If he can take a few of them out it should, in theory, stem the tides in the favor of the Republic. "Just need to handle as much as I can while I make my way to Ahsoka's insertion point." Reggie said as he got moving through the lab containing the strain of the Blue Shadow Virus.
"Heh just like Doom… or Halo… or just First Person in General." Reggie said only to find more Droids making the CAST go wide eye. "Intruder blast him!" The Battle Droid called out only for Reggie to fill them all with laser shots before they could sound the alarm. Of course they got a few shots in before then and thus Reggie was given a quick reality check. "Yeah just like a First Person shooter the only differences are that there are no HP Gauge or Shields to hide behind for a bit, no respawns, and most of all I could actually die." Reggie listed off as he knew this was going to be hard.
(Meanwhile back with the Party)
It was currently night time now as Ahsoka and the group after giving Reggie plenty of time to get a head start began their part of the plan. Ahsoka took out the bunker buster grenade and thus through the Force lifted it up. Once she did so she pushed it torts the area to set it off. For a moment she had to move the Grenade to the bushes to hide it from the sensors detecting it. She waited for a moment until the sensors lowered back into the ground. Once that was done Ahsoka through the Force got the grenade back out and had it go torts the area of the Sensors once more.
Once it was there the sensory cameras came out of the ground once more with the explosive hovering between them. Seeing this Ahsoka saw Yuvel nod before she set off the explosive causing it to make a hole so they can get into the lab. Once the hole was made the group went into action and started their attack on the lab to rescue the prisoners and also stop the Virus from re-entering the galaxy.
(Meanwhile back with the Prisoners)
The entire base shook as Yaga smiled knowing full well backup had arrived. "We have a breach! All droids to hatch number one!" Vindi called out to the controls to give his orders. He then started to head over to the prisoners while grabbing his gas mask only to find himself on the receiving end of Klara's rod while she smirked. In fact Yaga was heard roaring as he punched and slammed his gauntlets into the Droids tearing them apart.
"What?!" Vindi asked surprised to see the prisoners were loose.
"Just for the memo… we cut through the bonds while you were on a monologue." Klara revealed while smirking at giving the mad doctors problems. In turn the Doctor realized he was cornered by them.
(With Yuvel and Ahsoka's group)
Republic Gunships began to fly in as they hovered over the hole Ahsoka had made. "You stay here and make sure no one escapes." Yuvel ordered and thus he and Ahsoka ran to the hole followed by Zurna and Laura. Once they jumped in they were met with laser fire curtesy of the Droid Forces. Ahsoka deflected the laser fire while Laura fired back with her Techniques.
Just then Reggie hovered in and fired at the Droids giving his friends cover. "Hey what did I miss?" Reggie asked as he joined with the clones, Ahsoka, and his team against the Droids.
"Oh you know the usual." Yuvel said as he fired at his foes with his Gunblade as did Zurna with her own equipped gunblade.
"Everything and nothing got it." Reggie said as he fired his rifle at the droids. "So what is going on here?" Reggie asked as he looked to Ahsoka and Yuvel.
"We're the decoy for the actual teams to get the bombs and the hostages." Yuvel said and in turn they Droids began to be pushed back.
"Forward!" Rex called out and thus they group began to move in.
"Um guys!" Laura called out as she pointed to the incoming Roller Droids.
"I got it!" Zurna called out as she switched to her Katana weapon. As the Destroyer Droids came in she quickly passed by them swinging her blade just before they uncurled to combat mode. The Two destroyers were still for a moment just before Zurna sheathed her drawn weapon. When the hilt met the scabbard the two Droids fell into two piece destroyed and defeated.
Ahsoka and the Clones were all impressed by this as the Clones were trying to avoid looking at how oddly attractive she looked here. "Let's keep moving, guys." Zurna said as she was ready to move on to the next area of the lab.
(Back with Yaga and Klara)
As Klara had Vindi at rod point she pushed him away from the virus after gesturing him with her rod to drop it. No doubt Vindi was aware somewhat of ARK's that some of their weapons included staves that can shoot out blizzards and explosions. "Now here is how it's going to work, you surrender and call off your droids." Klara ordered as she glared at Dr. Vindi in contempt.
Just then the doors were sliced open by a lightsaber making the group look and saw Anakin had arrived with Clone Troopers. "Hey Skyguy you made it just in time, we're just about cleaning up here." Yaga boasted a bit as he grinned to them.
"Yes, yes; yes see they were just about." Vindi said as his hand got to a lever he was going for. "To surrender or." He began and thus pulled the level causing Padme and Jar-Jar to be hit by electricity causing the two great pain. "Watch your friends die!" Vindi called out making Klara go wide eyed to this.
"Why you!" Klara yelled ready to go off on him but Vindi acted and took one of the fallen Droids blasters and shot at Klara hitting her in the arm. Crying out in pain Klara fell over and thus Vindi made a run for his escape with the Virus.
Acting fast Anakin went for the controls and in turn destroyed it with his Lightsaber causing the machine to in turn deactivate. "Padme!" Anakin called out as he saw Padme was a bit singed by seemingly fine.
"I'm fine… though I could have done without being zapped." Padme said and thus Anakin smiled to her.
"A thank you would have sufficed." Anakin said but before anything could go further Padme had one more worry to focus on.
"Annie check up on Klara." Padme said as she had seen Klara get shot.
"Dammit it hurts." Klara cursed as a Clone medic was tending to her new blaster hole.
"Don't worry it's just a flesh wound." The Clone assured as Klara then growled.
"I got careless." Klara cursed realizing she screwed up back there.
"We can still grab him if we hurry." Yaga said as he wanted to send that guy to the hospital with a well-placed painful concussion.
"Let's move." Anakin said and thus Klara got back up.
"Not you." The Clone said and thus Klara rolled her eyes and grabbed her rod. "Give me a second." Klara said and thus she began to work on healing her wound via a Photon Technique. In turn the Clones, Senator, and Jedi were all shocked to see the wound give off an emerald green glow before it began to heal up for the young girl. Once it was healed the flesh was left pink no doubt being freshly healed and thus had to be broken in a bit for skin. Klara spun her arm a bit and saw the pain was all gone just soreness.
"Incredible." Anakin said but Yaga stepped in.
"Gawk later we got a mad doctor to find." Yaga said and thus Anakin remembered that as well.
"Let's move we have to find that doctor before he can set any of the bombs off!" Anakin ordered and thus the Clones and ARK's all headed out to find the mad doctor with Padme and Jar-Jar accompanying the group.
(Back with Yuvel's group)
The battle continued as laser fire went off for a tad bit longer before they headed off. AS they ran they soon came across Obi-Wan as he was handling a few more droids. "Well seems the lab is secured." Obi-Wan said as he and his team joined up.
"Yeah and hopefully Anakin has reached Yaga and Klara by now." Yuvel said to which the group then stopped their path when they turned and saw even more Battle Droids in their way. "Obi-Wan get the bombs we'll handle things here!" Yuvel called out and thus Obi-Wan rolled his eyes.
"My thoughts exactly." Obi-Wan said and in turn he ran to get to where the bombs were kept.
"We'll keep the Droids occupied!" Ahsoka called out and in turn she deflected laser shots from the Droids.
(Later with Obi-Wan)
Obi-Wan and a few Clones from his legion made their way through the halls until they found the Bombs room. "Well, looks like the bomb room." A clone said as he saw the bombs were here and thankfully unarmed.
"Yes, and luckily, they appear inactive." Obi-Wan said and in turn got ready to secure them.
(Dr. Vindi)
As Vindi was running away with a few newly acquired Droids he was intent on making his escape. But as he ran he took out his detonator and armed the bombs via remote.
(Back over with Obi-Wan)
Just then the Bombs all began to arm as the countdown to total pandemic was on. "I spoke to soon." Obi-Wan said before looking to the Clones. "Get these deactivated now!" Obi-Wan ordered and in turn went over to his communicator. "Anakin, I'm guessing you didn't capture the doctor." Obi-Wan asked as he knew time was of the essence now.
(Anakin's group)
"I'm working on it!" Anakin defended as he knew the urgency of it all. "Do you have the bombs?" Anakin asked and in turn Obi-Wan had the response.
"I'm working on it." Obi-Wan said and got to the worst part. "Dr. Vindi has remotely activated the bombs their counting down." Obi-Wan urged as this got everyone shocked.
"That's great." Anakin said as he couldn't not guess how this could get any worse for them.
(Obi-Wan)
"And on top of that, one of them seems to be missing!" Obi-Wan called out as he looked to the gap where a bomb was supposed to be.
(Anakin)
"It has to be down here somewhere." Anakin said as he then changed channels.
"Uh guys." Klara began but was in turn ignored.
"Ahsoka, we've got another situation. Send all the clones to search the facility, we've got a missing." Anakin began only for them to cross paths with Ahsoka and Yuvel's group.
"Oh hey Ahsoka." Yaga greeted as he saw Ahsoka and her troopers there. "Long story short we have a bomb missing and a trigger-happy mad scientist on the loose." Yaga said as in turn Klara jumped in.
"I saw the bomb last taken by a small droid when Dr. Vindi was on a monologue earlier." Klara said and in turn had an idea on what to do.
"She's right." Padme added as she knew what the Droid was.
"Best part I can find it." Klara said as she knew the Droid was not a combat sort and in turn had a way to track it down. She in turn pulled out a rod weapon that had a large orb at the top covered in chains and the shafts covered in bandages.
"Oh boy." Yaga said seeing what Klara was going to do.
"Step back." Yuvel said as Klara focused on her scepter to wake it up.
"What is she doing?" Anakin asked and in turn Klara found what she wanted.
In turn the Rod began to glow as the chains strained and the wrappings showed an intricate design under the worn cloth. "Awaken Thief of Knowledge Creator of Life, EVE!" She invoked and in turn the scepter awoke. To start the wrappings came undone as they flew off the shaft revealing a pure white form underneath it. Next came the orb as the chains wrapped around it rattled for but a moment before shattering. In turn the orb opened up to reveal an azure blue crystal under it with the parts of the orb floating around orbiting the crystal in question.
Both Anakin and Ahsoka could sense the raw power this weapon possessed and even more so the light it gave off. Padme was amazed by it but right now they had little time to enjoy it. Klara focused on the scepter and in turn the group found themselves having an out of body experience. In turn the entire world around them shifted before going through the area before showing the Droid with the bomb running through the halls.
Eve showed them the way and how to find the Droid the rest was up to them. Thus with this information on hand Klara swiped her weapon and thus ended the vision. "Ok time to divide and conquer." Yuvel said and in turn looked to the groups.
"Got it, Anakin you and me go after Doc Psycho the rest of you get that droids and deactivate those bombs!" Yaga said as he grinned to their upcoming victory.
"That was… almost exactly what I was going to say." Anakin said as he realized what this meant for them.
"Alright let's move out!" Yuvel called out and thus they all ran to locate the mad doctor and the droid that had the missing bomb.
(Meanwhile with the small droid)
The Droid had saw the chaos taking place and had in turn opted to run for it. As it ran it was currently looking for a hiding place until it came across a familiar room. Looking around the Droid ran in hoping to hide inside until this all blew over. Unaware to it a familiar Dark Falz was observing the event as it played out.
(Back with Anakin and Yaga)
The trio of Anakin, Yaga, and Klara were charging down the hall going to the landing pad chasing Dr. Vindi. As the trio got to the landing pad the Droids took notice to the three. "Jedi!" One called out only to be hit by a fireball curtesy of Klara.
"Jedi AND ARKs!" Klara corrected while they went after the doctor. Once the trio got close enough Yaga began punching and smashing his way through the Droids while Klara was sending off her Techniques at them.
It didn't take long for them to breeze through the foes and thus Anakin and Klara pointed their weapons at Vindi. "Leaving so soon doctor?" Anakin asked as he was clearly taunting the Doctor.
"You are running out of time." Vindi taunted as he taunted the trio. In turn he produced three vials of the Blue Shadow Virus and was prepared to throw them all. "Catch he said and thus he threw the three vials causing the trio to go wide eyed to it. Acting fast the three jumped out and proceeded to catch the thrown vials before they can shatter and released the virus.
Alas the trio ended up outside the door and in turn saw they had to get back through said door. "Klara!" Yaga called out and in turn Klara was on it.
"Get back!" Klara called out as she was charging up a Technique through Eve. In turn the door was blasted apart by Klara who then charged through with the duo of Yaga and Anakin. "Wanna try again!?" Klara called out as she glared at Dr. Vindi in pure contempt.
In turn Vindi realized that Klara was one bomb ready to go off at a moment's notice and realized he crossed the young human girl. In turn Klara and Yaga charged at Vindi climbing up the platform to grab him before the doctor could escape.
(Meanwhile with Padme and Jar-Jar)
Reggie, Zurna, Padme, and Jar-Jar were looking for the missing bomb and the droid who had it. As they walked down the hall Jar-Jar stopped suddenly as something caught his attention. "Ooh, something smells good in here." Jar-Jar said as he in turn entered the room.
But as they walked Zurna stopped and thus got the others attention. "Guys quiet!" Zurna hushed as she closed her eyes and listened intently. Reggie did the same and in turn in the silence of the room they heard the sound of ticking and in turn they found it. Zurna carefully hid atop the table in case the Droids puts up a fight while Jar-Jar, Padme, and Reggie approached the hidden droid.
"Hey." Reggie greeted as he looked to the Droid trying to hide. "That thing is dangerous for you to hold, why not hand it to me?" Reggie asked reaching for the bomb.
In response the Droid looked at the bomb before snarling at the group causing them to jump back in shock. But before he could leave the room Zurna jumped down and pinned the Droid down with her sheathed Katana. Reggie charged out and grabbed the bomb and in turn held it high.
"Got it!" Reggie called out and thus Padme went to call it in.
"Ahsoka, we found the last bomb." Padme said as Reggie did the same.
"Boss man… what the Senator said." Reggie said to his own communicator.
(Back with Yuvel and Ahsoka)
Ahsoka leading the Clones, Yuvel, and Laura were running down the hall when they got word from their allies and picked up the pace. "Good stay right there we'll be in with a bomb squad." Yuvel said as he ran down the hall hoping to stop this pandemic from escaping. If they didn't hurry then a lot of people were going to die this day.
"Master did you find Dr. Vindi?" Ahsoka asked to the communicator but it was Yaga who answered.
"Yeah we found him he's trying to get away on the Landing Platform." Yaga said as it sounded like he was climbing upward.
(With Obi-Wan and the Bombs)
"I'm on my way right now." Obi-Wan said as the Clones were currently defusing the bombs. Obi-Wan then left as the Clones were making great progress with defusing the bombs. He only hope he wasn't too late to stop this brew catastrophe from going off.
(Back at the landing platform)
Dr. Vindi saw he was currently a rock in a hard place as he tried to think up what to do. "Any last words you psychopathic monster!" Klara demanded as she looked ready to use Eve to kill Vindi.
"I have a few words." Dr. Vindi said as he then in turn took out three more vials of the Virus. "Three in fact." He said before Yaga charged him.
"No!" He called out but he was too late. Vindi threw the three Vials as the Platform rose to the surface.
AS the Vials fell downward it seems that luck was on their side as from the doorway came Obi-Wan. The Jedi then jumped up using the Force to enhance himself and grab each of the vials as they all fell. Seeing this the trio were grateful for this turn of events as, Dr. Vindi was left wide eyed to this.
But before Dr. Vindi could even voice anything Yaga proceeded to smash his glass helm and in turn exposing Dr. Vindi to the Blue Shadow Virus when the bombs explode. "There if that bomb goes off you die with the rest of us." Yaga said with one of his smirks.
"It doesn't matter!" Dr. Vindi boasted as the timer on his band was on the final seconds. "We're all going to die together!" He laughed as the group was wide eyed to this. "DIE!" He laughed and in turn the timer was up and everyone was wide eyed. Yaga ran off to duck and cover while Klara held Eve close expecting the worse. But the worse didn't come as the group all saw this happen.
"Huh?" Klara asked as Dr. Vindi was also at a loss.
"What… what happened?" Dr. Vindi asked and in turn Anakin knew what had happened.
"They did it." Anakin said and in turn they were met with good fortune here.
(Back with over Padme's group)
The last bomb was on its last few seconds as the wire was cut and the bomb was effectively defused. Deactivated. Plenty of time to spare." The Clone from the Bomb Squad said as the explosive was successfully defused.
"Heh-heh we made it." Reggie laughed nervously until he fell over and fainted.
"Plenty of." Jar-Jar began and in turn also fainted as he fell over atop Reggie.
"Ahsoka, are you there?" Anakin asked as he called up Ahsoka hoping she was ok.
"I'm here, master. The bomb has been deactivated." Ahsoka confirmed as Yuvel then jumped in.
"Did you find Vindi?" Yuvel asked hoping they had more good news.
(Anakin)
"Deactivated as well." Anakin said as currently Vindi was tied up to be transported and put on trial for this. "Have you seen Padme?" Anakin asked worried for the Senator.
(With Ahsoka and Yuvel's team)
"She's right next to me." Ahsoka said as she looked over to Padme next to her. "I'm ok too. Thanks for asking." Ahsoka said a little bit offended that Anakin wasn't showing concern for her.
"We can begin clean up as soon as possible with your permission." Yuvel said and in turn they were given the ok.
(Back up top)
As Anakin smiled at this information he then looked to Vindi with a glare. Just then Republic Gunships were heard as the group looked up to see Republic reinforcements arriving to help seal the deal as it were for them. But… unaware to any of them a powerful darkness was watching them.
(Dark Falz Persona)
Persona had saw the entire event play out as he glared at it all in contempt. As he glared upon it he held the necklace in his hand gripping it to the point his fist was shaking showing he was holding himself back. Persona knew what was going to happen next but he must allow it to happen up until the moment they are conceived. If he can bring it out earlier the better but until then he was forced to watch and wait for the promised time.
First Persona would eliminate Skywalker then he would eliminate Palpatine and when all was said and done he would set the groundwork for the next Persona to do the deed. But until then Persona had to act as an observer and keep the other Dark Falz in check as best he could until the endgame comes about. Once it does this Dark Falz Persona could finally lay resting in eternal peace.
