A story of how much things can change in a matter of seconds and how much love and family can help to heal the wounds inflicted by what life throw at us. Somewhat AU with R&I canon bits.

Set before Jane (would) move to Quantico but after the best friends' Paris trip. Prompted by the lieutenant, Jane goes for her last assignment as a backup undercover for the drug unit. Seems simple enough until the operation goes haywire and Jane finds herself, well a kid again. Lieutenant Martinez has a brilliant solution, "Dr. Isles, how do you feel about fostering a child?"

Maura receives a cryptical phone call from Agent Dean, and a mystery unravel. This story becomes Rizzles – but I will mark the chapter where that part begins. You can still read the first chapters as a full story without Rizzles if that is not your cup of tea.

Jane and Maura had fun in France. but soon Jane was in Quantico and doing quite a bit of growing up. but Jane needed Maura's support and Her best friend dropped everything to be by her side. Except, this kind of help was not something they had ever tried before. DO not own Rizzoli and Isles.
