Another Copter Chapter one: The Rescue Bots, a transformers/beast wars fanfic

Chapter one

I've been on team prime for about three months now and it's pretty fun, well fun for me I guess, but it was also dangerous when the decepticons were involved.

I've had some medical skills before I came to team prime, which Ratchet appreciated a little when he found out. Ratchet was the main person I talked to in Team Prime, like I do talk to the others, but I just don't feel the connection when we talk

Bumblebee was the youngest in team prime so we talked a lot when he came to the medbay every now and then, but even with that, he was older than me, so some things he couldn't understand.

Becoming Ratchet's assistant was also something, I felt a little more helpful to the team and appreciated, I guess since I was a youngling I kinda want some attention, but with the decepticons going on, there isn't any time for that

Even with the time I spent with team prime I feel like I'm ignored sometimes, maybe because I'm young and they don't want me involved with the war.

That thought was before I met them, the human children that team prime apparently have. There were three human children, which they got caught with the ongoing war.

I was kinda happy there was someone my age or well, someone who understands me. Jack Darby in my opinion was like a leader, maybe a human prime in his own right.

Miko Nakadai was a little loud and a troublemaker at times for team prime, or mainly for Ratchet as he tells me.

Rafael Esquivel was someone I could relate to the most, we both are smart, sometimes aren't heard, and alone until something great happens.

But even with all that, the human children stayed close to their guardians and only came for a few hours at best unless they had a family business.

The only thing I do at team prime is being a medical assistant, other than that I spend most of my days just staying in the medbay and building random contraptions.

I was upgrading one of my inventions I built as I had a new idea that could make it better. I was about to grab one of the circuitry I built, but before I did I heard Ratchet shouting.

I was curious about what made Ratchet shout like that so I walked out the medbay and turned to the corner as I saw him and Optimus talking

"-your sending electro away!?" "Ratchet let me explain-" "no optimus, with all the time i spent with him, he shows great potential on being a medic, and in that time i felt more"

"Would you really send a youngling to be a part of the war then?" Optimus asked him as that made Ratchet silent, he didn't speak as Optimus continued what he was talking about "i'm sending him to the rescue bots, with him there he won't be in harm's way and will be safe from the war"

Optimus was sending me away "Electro'' I looked up as I saw Optimus staring in my direction "i have a mission for you" i was kinda worried when he said that, sure being send to somewhere safe was good, but i didn't know anyone

"y-yes?" I said as i stuttered a bit before walking towards them "Youngling i know you are scared, but you are to go to griffin rock and stay with the rescue bots, watch what they do and follow them" i was nervous, really nervous "why do i have to be send away, can't i stay here" i asked thinking that they don't-

"no you can not electro, younglings shouldn't see or be a part of the war… it's for your own safety" Ratchet tells me, but i wasn't convinced "what about bumblebee then? He was taken to the autobots when the youth center was destroyed and he stayed?" Ratchet looked away as Optimus face didn't change

"That was still on cybertron, we are on earth now and many things has change for us, we don't know much about earth and neither does the decepticons, so for your safety as the last youngling we may see, please take this mission"

I was sad, but I understood that war takes things, but I guess I was still young that I didn't know how war affects others "alright then" I said before I hugged Ratchet while he put one of his servos on my helm.

I heard a sniffle as when I looked up I saw him crying "Ratchet?" i said as he looked down at me "stay safe little electro, and don't make any trouble" he says before his expression changed and he grabbed his wrench and pointed it at me

I laughed a little and smiled "I'll miss you ratchet" I say before I walked away and followed Optimus to the ground bridge. We stopped in front of the bridge as we waited for Ratchet to type in the coordinates to Griffin Rock, but the ground bridge didn't active

"Ratchet, what seems to be the problem?" Optimus asked as I was also wondering the same thing "we are low on energon, the decepticons keep taking most of it leaving us low so the ground bridge won't be of use today" Optimus nodded to him before he looked down at me

"Electrospin, it seems we will have to go to Griffin Rock by normal means" I nodded in understanding, but before I could leave I went to pack my things or I guess packed all the things I made since I didn't have much

When Ratchet gave me the coordinates to Griffin Rock my optics widened "that's like about five hours worth of flying!?" I shouted as Optimus and Ratchet looked at each other with a small smile "I haven't even adjusted to the gravity of this planet when I fly!" "you'll be fine" Ratchet tells me as i wine a bit

"Well then youngling, we better get going" Optimus tells me as I went to the elevator before I transformed and flew off while Optimus drove "so what's Griffin Rock like?" I asked Optimus as I never heard of a place called Griffin Rock

When Optimus started to talk about it i was kinda interested and when he finished what he thought griffin rock was i was in awe and interested in all the inventions they made there "-there is something i haven't told you yet electrospin" "what is it?" "the people of Griffin Rock don't know about cybertronians"

"Okay, but why does that matter, aren't I going to the Rescue Bot's base?" "what the rescue bots do at griffin rock is to learn about the humans and live among them, the rescue bots do as the name tells, but they are to remain hidden"

"So basically they have to act like robots from what I'm hearing?" I asked as we transformed into our bot mode before walking into a warehouse near the docs "yes they do" Optimus says before I heard some noises and looked around to see two humans

"Dad, you still haven't told me what we are doing here?" "Be patient Cody, Optimus wanted me to bring you along as for what I don't know" "What would Optimus want with me then the bots dad?" the kid name cody stopped talking when he saw me and Optimus

"I hope we aren't late Optimus" the older male said as Optimus shook his head "it is fine chief burns, we also just got here" I don't even know why the humans are even here, but if Optimus talks to them then I guess there okay

"So what was the call about optimus?" Chief Burns asked as optimus turned to me before he moved me forward a bit "as you know the autobots and the decepticons are at war, but three months ago a cybertronian pod crashed landed on earth, and in that pod was Electrospin"

The humans turned to me as i shyly waved "hi?" I said as the one named Cody smiled and waved "electrospin would be what you call a child in our terms, and for his safety from the decepticons I want him to stay with you and the rescue bots"

"I'm sure the bots will look after him, my family as well will watch him" Chief Burns says as Cody spoke "Why am i here optimus?" Optimus turned his head to me before at Cody "electrospin needs someone his age and someone who can understand him, that is why i called you here, you and electrospin will be partners"

"Like Bumblebee and Rafael?" "Like Bumblebee and Rafael, Electrospin" Optimus said before he started to walk away, but stopped at the entrance "Good luck youngling" he said before he left.

"Noble, i have my own bot now!" Cody looked excited and I was too "well electrospin, welcome to the family, you can call me charlie'' Chief Burns or well Charlie said "I'm cody!" I lowered down to my knees and held up a digit to cody as he shook it

"Nice to meet you both" I say as after that we walked out of the warehouse "so how do we get back dad, the next boat to Griffin Rock is like in two days?" Cody asked his father as Chief Burns shook his head "i haven't thought of that son, the call was so sudden so i didn't plan for this"

"How about I fly you there?" I asked as Cody and Chief Burns turned to me "you can fly?" Chief Burns asked me as I transformed into my alt mode "does this answer it" "Noble!" Cody shouted as he went to my passenger side while chief went to my drivers side

"So were you a ground vehicle before-" "nope, i am an Aerial bot, a natural flyer" I say with pride, but got hit with something that looked like a bird "thats a seagull, its common on griffin rock" Cody says as for the rest of the flight it was me and Cody talking while Chief went to sleep on my drivers seat.

When we were near Griffin Rock I was in awe at how interesting it looked as I could see why the island was called Griffin Rock "You'll have to land at the firehouse, that's where the rescue bots are" Cody told me as he pointed to where I needed to go, but before I could go towards it something caught my eye.

"Help!" there was a building on fire as about ten people were on the roof "Electro lets introduce you to Griffin Rock" Cody said as I flew towards the burning building "Cody press the green button" Cody quickly pressed the button as my safely net activated

The safety net was lowered enough so the people on the roof could get on as almost everyone got on, but one. A little girl was still on the roof and the fire was almost on the roof as the people on the safety new was in panic "millie come here, hurry!"

An older male shouted as I quickly activated my alt claws without showing Cody how as I couldn't show Cody how to use them while a real rescue was going on. I grabbed her before putting her in the safety net as the older male hugged her tight.

"Sorry cody but-" "it's fine, this is a real rescue so you can't show me much when something is really happening, go ahead" I took that moment to fly away a bit before landing low enough so the people in the safety net would leave.

Once the people left i flew back to the burning building as I activated my Water Cannons "You want the honors Cody" I asked him as he smiled "Noble" I heard him say as he grabbed onto the levers before moving them back as the cannons pointed to the building as Cody pressed the button while the water shot out and took out the fire.

When the fire went out that was when I heard some loud noises as several vehicles appeared while I landed "huh, oh are we back already?" Chief burns asked as he yawned before he got out

"Uh, not really?" I said as I moved all my equipment from around Cody before he got out "Dad? Cody? What are you doing here, I thought you got a call from overseas?" a male older than Cody asked as two other people joined them

"And what's with the helicopter, we have blades?" an older female asked as Chief Burns then spoke "all will be answered when we get back to the firehouse, kade, dani" the older male named Kade nodded as the female named Dani followed, the other one did as well as he went back to his vehicle.

Once we were all inside the firehouse garage many questions were asked as the vehicles the other Burns were on were the Rescue Bots

"So why is there another helicopter?" Dani asked as the bot next to her looked worried "am I getting replaced!?" "No Blades you aren't" Chief Burns says as Cody moved in front of his siblings and the bots

"The reason why we went overseas is so I could get a partner, isn't that noble" everyone was silent before Cody ran to me "electro can you-" I transformed immediately as they stared at me

"Hi?" I said as Kade scruffed "Another bot, really, aren't they enough Cody?" "Well I was sent here for safety since Optimus didn't want someone-" "your age to join the war?"

I was cut off by a red bot as he walked closer to me "names heatwave" "I'm boulder" the green bot next to the other burn said "Blades" the orange bot with Dani said as I turned to the blue bot

"Classified" "that's Chase" Boulder told me as I nodded "so how did you get to earth?" Heatwave asked me which I sadden a bit at the memory

"the ship I was on was taken over by Decepticons, the crew were slowly killed off, I was lucky to be sent in a escape pod that my sire fixed secretly"

"What's a Sire" Kade asked before he got elbowed by Dani "a Sire is what you would call a father" Heatwave answered him before he turned back to me

"What's your name kid?" "Electrospin, my destination is Electrospin" "well then Electrospin, let's train you to be a Rescue Bot if you are joining us" Heatwave told me as he walked to the door

I looked at the others before looking at the last burn "right I haven't introduced myself yet, names Graham" "it's nice to meet you, all of you" I said as Dani ran to me

"So do you like to fly?" "Do I love to Fly, I was a natural born flier! Who am I, a grounder?" I laughed a bit as Dani glanced at Blades "oh uh, were you originally a grounder?" I asked as Blades sighed and nodded "yup, and I have to say… How Do You Work These Things?"

Blades was pointing to his rotor blades which I stared at him for a moment before saying "do you walk with them on?" "walk with them on?" "some Aerial bots leave them on their backs, but that will mean that they'll have to fix it every now and then and i don't have time for that so for me"

I put a hand on my rotor blades before popping them out "*gasp* You can do that!?" I laughed a bit as I went next to blades before popping them out "well I don't know where you gonna put them, but i usually just put them on my right arm"

"Why on the right arm?" Cody asked as Dani looked interested as well "well I use it for a shield and sometimes as a fan to cool me off" I attached my rotor blades to my arm before I made it spin as a slight brezze was made.

"Noble!" "it seems like a useful way of using the rotar blades" Graham said as Blades try to do the same, but failed "its an Aerial bot function, i'll have to install it into you when we have time" "so what other functions do Aerial bots have?"

Dani kept asking me questions about Aerial bots which reminded me of when bulkhead told me about how he and miko met "uh Dani, I don't think he can answer all those questions if you don't stop asking them" I was happy that Cody was saving me from these questions

"Dani can be like that sometimes, but when we fly she's ruff" Blades tells me as Dani looked towards him "i am not" "are too, i'm still sore from the last flight rescue we did" the two kept talking about their problems to each other as me and Cody just watched

"So what are your likes?" Boulder asked, as it took my attention away from Blades and Dani "well I like Drawing, Creating new inventions, and Flying" I then pulled out my alt claw as to how them, but saw it was bent as i panic

"I need to fix these really quick so please excuse me" I say before I sat down where I was and took out my tools, before I went to fix the bentness of the alt claw "need a hand?" Cody asked as i looked at him "yes i do, as you can see there's is this small piece that needs to be taken our and my digits can't reach them"

Cody grabbed the piece and started to pull as while he is doing that I will be checking my other inventions to see if they need to be fixed "whats this?" I looked to my side to see Dani as after that I looked up to see Graham, Boulder, Blades, and Chase

"I don't think a younging as you should be touching those" Chase said as he tried to take my tools, but I grabbed my wrench and smacked his servos away "don't touch" I tell him as when the others try to touch my things i smacked them away

"How come cody get to touch them?" Blades asked me which i turned towards him "he's my partner, of course i'll-" I heard a weird sound as when I turned to Cody I saw that my alt claw was in two piece's "Cody!" I shouted his name as I moved him a side and grabbed my alt claw to inspected it as nothing was broke from what iL can see

I sighed in relief as nothing was wrong with it "Cody you need to be careful with this, every invention of mine is always held with care" from the looks I got from the Rescue Bots and the Burns I could tell this will be a new start for me like it was with team prime

"So what do some of these inventions even do?" I turned to Chase as I smiled "I'm glad you asked Chase, let me show you all how great some of my inventions and gadgets are" I knew I was going to show off my inventions and give the best of details, but I do wonder about team prime when they realized I took all the inventions I build.

-In Autobot Outpost Omega One / Autobot base-

"Stay here Miko, I'm gonna take a shower to get rid of the sand" "Okay bulk!" Miko shouted as she ran towards the human area

"Who Took The Water Cannon!" Bulkhead's shout was heard from the main area as the other bots walked to the wash racks

"The water cannon is gone!?" Bumblebee asked as when Bulkhead moved all the bots saw that the water cannon was gone

"You know the energon flavor machine is also gone" Arcee added as Bumblebee gasped loudly "not the energon flavor machine!"

Optimus seem'd to sigh as he added another thing that was missing "the paint machine is also gone" "what!"

Bumblebee seem'd to be losing it as all the things he liked and needed were going missing and this was making him have a small spark attack

Arcee was calm with all the commotion going on as she knew that somehow someone would find all these things and when they do everyone will be happy

"Hey Arcee, I can't find the invention thing, it's like missing or-" The bots and the human children watched as Arcee ran in hallway before hearing a loud yelling at the end

"Hm, all these things are going missing probably because you all misplace it, all these inventions are servo size so most likely you put it somewhere"

Ratchet told the bots as the human children were just watching the bots panic a bit "now, no more complaints"

With that ratchet went to the medbay as the bots were about to go do there normal things when they heard ratchet shouting

"I Needed That!?" The kids watched as Ratchet ran out of the med bag and ran towards Bulkhead as he looked at Bulkhead in the optics "where is the multi tool, I Needed It, Right now!?"

"I-i don't know ratchet, I haven't been in the medbay this whole week" "hmph" Ratchet was very annoyed that one of his tools went missing as Acree came back

"Who took the Massager!" She asked as she pointed to all the bots before at Miko "I didn't do it Arcee!" Miko said as she held her hands up

Seeing all the bots like this was kinda worrying since the kids never saw them like this, but Rafael noticed some and he asked

"Where is Electro? I haven't seen him in awhile" hearing that made Bulkhead, Bumblebee, and Arcee look around before looking at Optimus and Ratchet

"Where is the kid?" Bulkhead asked as Ratchet looked down sadden a bit "we sent him to Griffin Rock" Optimus answered as Jack snapped his fingers getting everyone's attention

"Wasn't it Electro who built all those things" Jack said as everyone nodded as Ratchet's optics widen "And when he left he took all his things and what he built, he took the Multi Tool!"

"-The Water Cannon!"

"-The Paint machine!"

"-The Energon Flavor!"

"-The Massager!"

All the bots turned to Arcee as she coughed and turned away from their sight "I made a personal order" she said as Bulkhead was shocked "We Could Do That!?"

-Back with the Rescue Bots-

"And that's how that works" I tell them as Boulder grabbed the Water Cannon "this will help me a lot for sure" "ooh can I try the energon flavor, I wanna try this!" Blades kept shaking me as when he stoped i was still shaking "i-i'll set it up" I say before I fell to my knees and then onto the floor

"Hmph and you says i was the ruff one huh?" "oh shuh you" I heard Blades tell Dani before he grabbed my ped and dragged me "hm, a Massager would be nice around here?" I heard Chase say before I was pulled up by Blades

"Come on now Electrospin set this up for me" "hold on blades, my helm still feels dizzy" i shook my helm to shake it off as it halved worked "Come with us cody, this machine also works human drinks"

"Really!? Noble!" I laughed a bit as Cody followed us "hey wait up, i wanna try this too!" I heard Dani yell as when we found our spot to set up the energon flavor machine I put it together. When I was setting it up I pressed a button as the machine grew to the size of a ship container

"So how does it work?" Blades and Dani asked at the same time "well if you follow me i'll show you" I say as I walked to the front of the machine "see this here" once I got the nodded I continued "you put the cup or cube in here for the drink, there are two slots so two people can get there drinks at a time" I looked back at them as they nodded

"now we move to the side" I say as they followed "as you can see there are ten small windows and ten buttons, in those windows are drinks and the button below it gives you the desired drink when pressed" I looked back to see if they were paying attention as when I did i saw the awe look in their faces

"Question?" Dani asked "Yes?" "what if we want a different flavored drink, our own kind to say, how do we make our own drink" this wasn't the first time someone asked that question as I opened my sub space and grabbed out "then you get out the DMM" "what's the DMM?" "oh it stands for Drink Making Machine" "you know your pick of names are kinda terrible" Blades said as I pouted a bit

"You try making up a name when you build a new invention and idea" "excuses" Dani and Blades said together before they zoomed off to the front of the machine to get there drinks "well I like the names elecro" "thanks cody, but maybe the names are terrible" I turned to him as I smiled

"how about from now on you name them?" "um maybe not, i'm kinda terrible at it too" I sighed a bit before turning to Blades and Dani as it seems they grabbed every single flavor for there- "there's icys, I haven't had those since I went to the main land that one time!" I heard Cody say as he went off to get his own icy

Third pov

After some time Heatwave came back as when he did he saw the energon flavor machine "what's this?" "its an energon flavor machine, isn't this great heatwave, i've always wanted one of these, the ones on cybertron were so much that we couldn't buy one" Blades says as Heatwave walked to the machine to inspect it

"Where did this come from?" "electrospin made it, apparently he made it when he was with team prime" "what flavors does it have?" "well there's mostly fruit flavors" "what's a fruit?" "a type of fuel from what i can understand"

Heatwave went to try the energon flavor machine himself as when he did Chase and Boulder walked to them "it seems like Electrospin is more on the engineering side isn't he" Boulder said as Heatwave nodded before he drank his drink

"hm not bad" Heatwave mumbled as when he looked at the other they were looking at him "what?" "nothing… So uh what do we do with Electrospin here?" Blades asked as Chase spoke "we know he is in the engineering department, but he is also our medic from what chief told me"

"What!?" The three of them were surprised by this as boulder spoke "isn't he a bit young to know all the things in the medical field" "he might be trained?" Blades said as they turned to him "I mean team prime must have had a medic right? So maybe the medic taught him?" "that may be true, but we don't know that?"

The talking from the bots were starting to get loud which got the attention of Electrospin and cody "what are you guys doing over there?" Cody asked as he ran to the bots as did Electrospin

"We were uh…" "getting icys!?" "ya what he said!!" "right?" Cody looked at the four older bots as Electrospin looked at them with confusion "so when does the rescue bot training start heatwave?" "Next Week, I plan to tell Chief Burns about this"

"So what does a rescue bot do besides rescuing?" "well we…. What do we do?" Blades turned to the others as Heatwave shook his head before sighing "Just be ready by next week for you training"

"So does that mean i join you guys when rescue are called or no" "depends on the rescue, if we need an extra pair of eyes" Heatwave tells him before he finishes his drink "oh i'll have to check on your health since you've been here for… for?"

Electrospin turned to Cody for the answer "about three days now from what i'm told when they came here" "that and since they have been in stasis for a while the health of you bots are unknown to me" "So is the check up now?" Blades asked as Electrospin shook his head

"I need to set up an area somewhere for the equipment" the four older bots Sighed in relief as this was noticed by the younger ones "hiding something?" Electrospin asked as Heatwave smiled weirdly "it's nothing electro" "ya its nothing" Boulder agreed with him

Electrospin couldn't tell what they were thinking, but one thing was in his mind and that was to quickly find or make a room for a medbay "I'll ask chief to see if there's any rooms i could take for the medbay" with that Electrospin left as Cody quickly looked at the older bots

"What's wrong?" he asked as the four older bots looked at him "Cody you have no idea what doctor are like on cybertron" Blades told him as Boulder nodded "every year a bot has to go to the doctors to do there check up on there body" Boulder says as Blades continues "they use tools to poke around in the body even-"

"eh em, i think he's too young for that blades'' Heatwave says as Cody was still confused "What wrong with a check up and poking around the body?" "its not around the body we're worried about, it's the inside'' Heatwave tell him as Chase nodes

"even if Electrospin is a youngling i have a feeling he's experience with the procedures, i hope he is a little less harsh" the bots nodded and Cody seem'd to understand a little bit about why the bots were worried as when Electrospin came back he told the bots that there was a space in the bunker for a medbay which worried the bots a lot.

A.N.: Chapter one finished! I hope I have the motivation for this.
