Chapter 2: A New Beginning
Lincoln just got back from California after a few months of being on set as the producer of the latest Ace Savvy movie, owning the rights to the franchise he was always on set for a few months while they were filming the new movies. It was time consuming and took him away from his family but he video called every day to see his children and even help them with their schooling. His oldest daughter, Lyra, followed in his footsteps and was the president of the Royal Woods High School Creative club and the Action News Team. Being 21 years old, she works for her father as an animator and writer, she also writes FanFiction for the Ace Savvy Franchise, being the child of the person who creates the universe, she's one of the largest writers on all of the platforms she's on, their next oldest Loan has taken up more of a girly approach. She takes up a lot after her aunt Lola, participating in pageants and modeling, at 14 she's one of the top child models in Michigan. His youngest child, Lynn III is a very shy and timid girl, at 11 years old she is the quietest of them all. She likes art and writing like her oldest sister, she's also into Anime.
Stella, now 39 years old is a stay at home mom after Lincoln hit success with LAL Inc., she went to college and became a teacher for 9 years and left shortly after Lynn III was born so she could allow herself to take care of their children while Lincoln was becoming successful in his endeavors.
Lincoln, now 39 as well became successful with his company LAL Inc., Aka Lincoln Albert Loud Incorporated. He started out small time doing news paper sketches and grew largely due to his unique artistic style. He had accumulated enough capitol to purchase the Ace Savvy franchise as he previously had contact with the creator from winning the contest when he was 11, they came to an agreement and he purchased the rights to the full series as well as the rights to do whatever he wanted with the franchise. He grew the franchise to be one of the largest hero and villain franchises in the world. Coming with this was multiple movies, shows and of course comic series. It is one of the leading entertainment franchises in the world, and at the center of it all is Lincoln Loud, the once 11 year old contest winner from Royal Woods is now the owner of an entertainment empire. He is also over some self made franchises as well, none as big as Ace Savvy, but large enough to sustain more then enough income to provide for his family, his company and help his sisters when they need it. They try not to ask him for money because they fee like they would be taking advantage of him, but he told them it's not an issue. He loves to help his family and be there for them. There was a time when he wasn't and he feels guilty about it.
The days, weeks, and months after Lynn Jr's death hit the Loud family hard, but one member of the Loud family had it the worst. Lincoln Loud, he is the one that took it the hardest due to him being the one finding her. He went to a therapist that diagnosed him with PTSD, Clinical Depression, as well as Bipolar. He was having constant mood swings where he would lash out at his family and his Fiance, saying horrible things, none taken to heart due to the nature of the situation and the state of his mind currently. His family put themselves into his shoes, the only one that he didn't lash out at was Lily, her now being 8 years old, and being one of the most intelligent Loud children only second to Lisa and Lincoln, she could understand things emotionally more then anyone her age. Whenever Lincoln was having an episode and she walked into the room, he instantly calmed down and ended his episode. The therapist told Rita and Lynn Sr. that it was possibly the feeling of the need to protect her like he feels like he couldn't do with Lynn Jr., as the youngest member of the Loud family she was the one that had grown the closest to him besides Stella, but not even she could calm him down like Lily could. He had grown to resented himself and how he treated his family but he felt like he wasn't in control of his own body which infuriated him sometimes, but he knew that he couldn't control his emotions well at the moment. He was given medicine to help with the sudden bursts of anger, but as he had just gotten them they didn't fully take effect on him yet. He knew he had to get his outbursts controlled though, for one simple reason, his Fiance was pregnant with his child. Both of them being 17, they would be 18 years old once they bring their child into the world. He had to get his anger under control by then so he could raise his child properly.
9 Months Later
Lincoln was doing much better, with the birth of his child, as well as his medicine fully taking effect. He had no anger outbursts at this point and he worked a job at the local A to Z warehouse. He was a forklift driver, making really good money for his age. He was going to be receiving a promotion when he went back to his job with a substantial pay raise. He was happy with his life, but he still was working on following his dreams of becoming an artist and writer. He was doing daily commissions for members of Ace Savvy fandom, making money on the side.
His child was born, a healthy 9 pound 8 ounce girl, they continued the tradition of the L naming in the loud family and named her Lyra Loud, she had Blue eyes, white hair like her father, and a freckled face. She was beautiful, Lincoln vowed to himself to always protect his little girl no matter what harm it would bring to himself.
3 Years Later
Lincoln was now 21 years old, he had saved up enough money to start his company, self named Lincoln Albert Loud Incorporated. He started doing artistic works and sketches for the regional news papers and news stations which made him more then enough money to purchase a place of his own, for him, his now wife Stella, and his now 3 year old daughter Lyra. It was a cozy one story, 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house. His 3rd bedroom was used as the office for him to do his work in. It was filled with drawing tablets, computers, and physical drawing supplies. He worked 7am-9pm every day taking breaks from his work to visit with family. He had one other artist, his childhood friend Clyde McBride that he could even off his workload. He started growing, and his reputation started growing for his work, eventually landing him a large investment to begin his company, purchasing a small office building, and enough supplies , computers and more to allow him to hire 15 more artists. His company also was commissioned to create a special line of Ace Savvy comics by the creator of the franchise himself, as he had contact with him throughout the years due to his success in the contest they hosted 10 years ago. This special line of comics would propel his company even further, his company receiving 70% of all revenue that came from the comics. The comics sold very well, putting Lincoln and his company on the map as one of the premiere creators in the comic industry. This lead to him being commissioned to create more comic series under the Ace Savvy franchise. His dream had now been fulfilled, him and his company were a regular name in the franchise being given the rights to make half of the series that were released under the Ace Savvy name. He was also given the rights to create the first ever Ace Savvy movie, which was greenlighted to release on DexFlix, one of the largest streaming platforms. He decided to make the film in multiple languages to cater to a larger worldwide audience, the film was a hit being one of the largest released films on the platform as well as being awarded a Gammy award for the Best Fictional film of the year. Lincoln had made it, bringing more money in then he could even comprehend what to do with. He purchased a film studios that had been closed for a couple years, hired a production team and got the greenlight create an Ace Savvy series called Ace Of Spades.
2 Years Later
Lincoln had just spoken with Bill Buck, the creator of the Ace Savvy Franchise. He offered to sell Lincoln and his company the full rights to the Ace Savvy franchise as he was then too old to continue his work on the franchise. Bill and Lincoln came to an agreement on a sizable amount that worked for the both of them. Lincoln Loud was now the new owner of the Ace Savvy franchise. This came as a surprise to the whole fandom as they knew him from the multiple movies and series that he created in the last 2 years, they enjoyed his interpretation of the franchise and welcomed him with open arms.
Lincoln also welcomed a new member of his growing family, his newborn daughter Loan Loud. He was excited that he had another newborn as his oldest daughter Lyra began school and excelled in her studies. She was showing signs of becoming a great writer and artist when she was older. His wife Stella saw the potential in her daughter as well and was excited.
The Loud family of Lincoln purchased a new, larger home as a result of his success and decided that it would be the best option, they purchased a 5 bedroom 2 bathroom house on the outskirts of Royal Woods, still close enough to his other members of his family so they can visit their nieces and grandchildren. The family was very proud of Lincoln and the progress he has made over the last 5 years, now keeping his tempter and outbursts completely under control. He has apologized to them for some of the things he's said to them, and they told him they never would hold it over his head because they understand what was going on in his mind at that point. He continued to see his therapist and express his feelings in the correct way.
Lynn Jr's Death was The Loudest Tragedy, but it was also A New Beginning.
A/N: Hey guys, Eazy here! I'm proud of myself and the way writing is constantly evolving, I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter as much as I do. I tend to sit down and write these chapters in one go, and not separate my writing as I feel when I'm in the zone I can actually get more done, this is the longest chapter that I've written for the story, coming in at a bit over 1800 words not including this authors note. I want to shoot for a 3500 word chapter next time and consistently provide 5000-7500 word chapters each time as I feel like these longer chapters will provide more content for you guys as well as give you guys more content to consume for this new AU. I am doing my best to be active as much as I can and give you guys new updates weekly. I am going to start shooting for every Sunday.
I've started developing the characters as well for the AU, hopefully you guys enjoy this steer away from the traditional Sin Kids AU and approve of the new direction I'm taking them. I've worked hard to try to explain the characters in a simplistic way. I'm going to write out some outlines of the personalities and development of some characters and publish it as a new chapter to the story prior to chapter 3 being released as well.
Thank you for reading The Loudest Tragedy and I will see you guys next Sunday with another new chapter!
Please like and follow this story to get updated when I post new chapters! It helps the story get out there and helps me get more ideas for the direction of the story from you guys!
