Disclaimer: It goes without saying, that I don't own anything related to High School DxD.

Note: So, normally I've mostly just used Naruto as a main character. I've since I started writing begun to experiment with various OCs, and have now been convinced to use that boy Sasuke as the main character.

Which I know is a pretty controversial pick, especially here in the West, where he isn't exactly as liked as he is in the East. Anyhow, I don't care, I think he is the best character writing-wise.

It's going to be a small harem, I can confirm that Amaterasu (His mom, yes.) and Ahri, is going to be part of it. I have a few others in mind, but will at most pick one or two of them since a too-large harem is just ass.

Like it or not, here it is, so let's get on with it. And if you proceed to read knowing you don't like Sasuke, that's a smooth brain move, lol.

-Chapter 1-

First Contact.

改行

A pair of onyx eyes shuddered open, their owner letting out a raspy grunt. Warm rays of unnatural yellow peeked through the tsukiage-mado on his right, the hatch already beginning to crack open. Sasuke sat up, the futon beneath shifting its plump and plush form easily, and the thin sheets draped across him floated to the tatami below. The air seemed to adjust to his now bare form, heating up by the slightest of amounts. The sunlight streaming through the opening kissed his pale skin, and he could almost feel soft hands wrap around him.

His dark gaze rested on the cloud-like bedding underneath him. If there was a concept of night in this realm, he would have wished for it for only a few more moments of rest. Alas, he knew what awaited him should he dally in bed.

Sasuke blinked, standing from his comfort. His mind was clouded this morning, akin to the heavens below. Something was nagging at his brain, just out of reach. He had little time to ponder, however, as he saw the yellow rays in his room bleed orange. Sighing to himself, he sat up as he donned the neatly folded clothing by his bedside. Toned arms filled long sleeves and lithe legs slipped into short trousers, their dark fabric a contrast to the warm colors of his bedroom.

Resting on the back of his shirt was a peculiar design. An uchiwa, half of the fan colored crimson and the other along with the handle a stark white.

Depending on if he had anything to do later, he'd likely change into something more appropriate, but who cared what he wore for breakfast? He certainly didn't.

He didn't bother brushing his hair, nor did he care if he looked presentable, but he did know that his mother would get a little annoyed if he left it untamed, and the last thing he wanted to do was have a grumpy mother. Sighing to himself, he combed his fingers through it just a few times, so at the very least it was only the back left in disarray.

As Sasuke headed down the hall, he could smell the scent of food growing stronger, and he couldn't help but quicken his pace, a faint smile forming on his face, as he came to the top of the staircase, and gazed down at the scene below him. With a grunt, he took a seat at the dinner table and looked at all the prepared traditional food, and let out another yawn.

"Sasuke!"

His gaze darted up to the direction the voice was coming from. As the dark-haired boy watched the form of his uncle wave at him, he was a tall man. The appearance of a guy in his mid-twenties with long silver hair in a ponytail, and two long bangs framing his face. He was clad in a traditional light purple umanori hakama and kimono. Hard to believe that a guy like that was supposed to be the representation of 'The Moon'.

"Uncle..." The young man greeted tiredly and sat down at the table.

The man hummed and took a sip of a cup of tea, "Now don't get too excited."

Sasuke just eyed him curiously, "What are you doing here this early?"

His uncle chuckled and sat down at the table next to Sasuke. His eyes were closed and he appeared to be very content. "What? I can't come to see my favorite nephew?"

"I'm your only nephew," Sasuke pointed out, yet before he had a chance to speak again. He was caught off guard by a sudden softness pressed against the top of his head, along with the added weight it carried. A pair of slender arms wrapped down around his torso.

"Sasu-chan, you're up already? I thought I had to come wake you up for breakfast!"

He didn't need to see who the person was, to know that it was his mother. She was a beautiful woman. Long, jet-black hair tied up in a braided bun, and her deep onyx eyes like his own stared down at him warmly. Her smile was bright, as was fitting for The Sun after all. She was dressed in a pure white kimono with the emblem of a sun rising above the water's surface on the back of the elegant dress.

Yet despite the circumstances, she didn't seem to mind. She let her hands roam around and hold her kin close, allowing the weight of her chest to rest down against the young man's head. Thus flattening his usually unruly raven locks.

Sasuke let out a grunt, and glanced over at the man next to him, "Mother... uncle's here..."

She hummed curiously and eyed the silver-haired man, "Tsukuyomi, what a surprise for you to join us."

"You wound me, Amaterasu." Tsukuyomi feigned hurt, "Well, if I had a heart."

Amaterasu just gave him a playful punch in the arm, before pulling up a chair, and sitting down. Sasuke was the one to break the silence, as he glanced between the two, "I didn't know deities ate breakfast..." He mumbled through another yawn, "Seems like Mother's ideas are starting to affect the rest of Pantheon."

"Nonsense!" His mother replied quickly and poured a cup of tea, "Some of us don't have to sleep or eat. But I don't want you getting a big head because your mother is one of the most important deities."

Sasuke's eyebrow raised at the woman, as he picked up a bowl and scooped some rice and a bit of the pickled vegetables and fish onto his plate. The food was delicious. He'd never had any other kind of food, and his mother wouldn't let him. So, this was the way he was raised.

In short, he was being spoiled rotten. Only the best of the best food, or it wasn't good enough for him—his mother's words, not his.

Amaterasu did let out a hum, "But I must admit I too am curious, why are you here brother? The night just faded, I'd assume you would have loads of matters to attend to."

The silver-haired deity gave his sister a look, "Well, I had a report to make, but who am I to interrupt a breakfast ritual? Figured I'd take part, as to not disturb."

"Well, that is very considerate of you," The dark-haired woman praised and poured some more food onto Sasuke's plate, "So, what do you have to say?"

"Nothing too important," Tsukuyomi said and cupped his chin, "Well, perhaps it is. I have no real way to tell just yet. There was a large surge of pure uncontrolled natural energy this night. On the island of Yakushima, it was quite the show. Such a bright flash of light, it couldn't not have caught my gaze. Yet, just as soon as it appeared, it was gone, though it held with it a lingering whisper of rage."

"Is that so?" The goddess inquired, "It's odd that even you would have no idea what it was."

"No, no." Tsukuyomi waved her off, "That's not quite what I meant, Amaterasu. It's simply not my job to keep tabs on the state of our lands, as much as our brother might wish it to be so." At this, Tsukuyomi cast a sidelong glance towards Sasuke. "And thus I do not know for sure. You, on the other hand, would. After all, you are the Goddess of the Sun, whose light pervades throughout. I figured a matter such as this should be for you to decide, in regard to how it should be dealt with."

Looking rather unamused, she stared at him blankly, "So, you're lazy."

"No, no!" He exclaimed in fake surprise, "How could you possibly think that?"

She huffed, "Because I know you," Amaterasu stated and turned her gaze to Sasuke, who had been silently eating his breakfast, "You haven't said anything, Sasuke. What are your thoughts on this matter?"

The young man gave her a blank look as he paused eating, "I don't really have an opinion. Youkai lose control while practicing all the time, I don't know why this would be a special occasion."

"Oh, but this isn't an ordinary occurrence, Sasuke." Tsukuyomi chimed, "I'd be lying if I said this wasn't the first I'd seen this in a long time. It was pure energy, unchecked without restraint. I haven't quite felt something like this since the warring periods."

"Well, what do you expect me to do about it?" Sasuke asked curiously, "I don't go to the mortal realm. Mother hasn't let me."

"I've let you!" Amaterasu retorted, "I just wanted you to finish your training. You know...so you don't get hurt out there."

Sasuke's face remained the same blank look before he sighed, "You haven't let me," The young man insisted and pointed his chopsticks toward, "I've had all my life to train. Honestly, the furthest I've probably been away from home was Kyoto. Even then, that was Youkai territory. I think I can count the amount of pure humans I've seen on one hand..." He mumbled thoughtfully.

The goddess just shook her head and almost pouted, "Well, I just don't want you to get hurt... mkay?"

Sasuke nodded, "Alright. I understand."

"Anyways," The silver-haired male chimed and clapped his hands together, "I believe we're getting a little off track. The point is, if this isn't some small incident, we'll have no choice but to act. At least send some sort of delegation or a representative of ours to check it out, keep the people of faith happy, and everybody can rest assured it will be dealt with."

"Well, when you put it that way," Amaterasu began and crossed her arms, "Why don't you go and do it yourself?"

"My dear sister, the moon cannot be in two places at once," Tsukuyomi told her and chuckled, "But I'm sure you've got this handled. You've…trained Sasuke for this sort of event, why not put him to use? He is plenty strong, he even made that little brother of ours take a step back. It was quite the sight, I must say."

Tsukuyomi and Amaterasu seemed to have an unspoken conversation as they gazed at each other from across the table, one that was undecipherable by Sasuke. Tsukuyomi was steadfast, his gaze never wavering. On the other hand, his mother's eyes shifted from side to side, before turning down toward her clasped hands.

"Well, when you put it that way," The dark-haired woman pondered for a moment, and then nodded her head, "Alright. I think it is time."

Sasuke just tilted his head curiously, "Time?"

"That's right, Sasuke." The goddess smiled, "You are old enough to make your own decisions now. I've tried my best to keep you here safe, but I can't hide you forever."

"You mean...?" Sasuke questioned.

"Yes," Amaterasu said and gave her son a smile, "You will travel to the mortal realm. You will find the source of this disturbance. Then, if the threat is too dangerous, you will eliminate it. However, if you find another alternative, then it will be your decision to make. You have permission to act with the authority of your mother."

The young man stared at her for a moment, taking it all in. He wasn't entirely sure how to feel. His mother had kept him in this realm for his entire life aside from a few instances, and now suddenly she was allowing him to leave unattended. It was a bit... jarring.

"You mean... I'm going to Yakushima?"

"That's correct," she confirmed. "We'll set you off later today. If you don't find anything, then come back. If you do find something, then I expect you to deal with it. It's a win-win."

He blinked a few times, "Okay..." Something was definitely a bit odd with all of this, but who was he to question it?

"Good!" She exclaimed and patted him on the shoulder, gesturing toward the plate of food in front of him vividly, "Now, eat your breakfast. You're going to need the energy for later."

"Right..." Sasuke felt a bit odd. It was a strange feeling, a mix of emotions, but he didn't dwell on it. Instead, he chose to eat his breakfast.

The trio spent the remainder of the morning chatting about various topics, before they finally had finished their meal. The young man excused himself and headed upstairs to grab a few belongings, and some of his equipment. He wasn't entirely sure what he'd be facing, but it'd be best if he was prepared.

After preparations were done, he now wore a high-collared and short-sleeved, white kimono held closed by a dark sash. The collar of the kimono was adorned with magatama. He wore a black full-bodied suit underneath, where the sleeves would be visible due to the kimono being cut short so as to not be in the way during combat.

By the time Sasuke was finished, he made his way downstairs and toward the front door. His mother and uncle were already there waiting, both of them looking quite satisfied, even if he could feel an undercurrent of anxiety from his mother. Oddly, her gaze seemed to linger on him. That in and of itself was not so odd, but her efforts to disguise her staring certainly was. She would glance at the skin his kimono exposed, her eyes tracing the way his collarbone jutted out. Sasuke was not the only one to find this strange, too, if Tsukuyomi's questioning gaze toward her were any indication.

Seeing that she had been caught, she'd promptly clear her throat to try and maintain a somewhat professional appearance, "All ready to go, son?"

"Ready," Sasuke nodded.

Amaterasu smiled and reached out, pulling her son into a hug, and resting her head on his shoulder. Her hand grasped the back of his head as her soft fingers dug into his unruly mop, and he could feel her warm breath on his neck, making the short hairs begin to rise a bit from the shivers it sent down his spine, "Now, I'm sure you're going to do a great job, sweetie. Please, just…remember everything I've taught you."

"I will," he replied and hugged his mother back.

"Now, don't forget Sasuke, I'm not doing this for myself." She said and pulled away from the embrace, "I'm doing this for you. You have lived in this realm for far too long, and have not learned what it's like out there. Just make sure you're on your best behavior, and don't set everything on fire, mkay?"

His brow started to twitch. He knew she meant well, but she spoke like he was a kid... Well, not much he could change about it. It was just how mothers were.

"I'll be fine, Mother. Promise." Sasuke reassured her, "You worry too much."

"I can't help it," The goddess replied and patted his cheek, "I just care about you. You might be of age now, but you're still my baby boy." She huffed and made sure his clothes looked presentable.

Tsukuyomi was watching the exchange with amusement, a chuckle leaving his lips, "Don't worry, Sasuke. I'm sure your mother is just nervous. I'm sure you will do just fine. But remember, the people of the mortal realm aren't quite like you or us. Better to blend in as if you're one of them, unless the situation escalates."

Sasuke nodded his head. It made sense, he knew the people of the mortal world weren't like the deities, but he hadn't had a lot of experience with them. It was only a small handful he'd ever met.

"Right," He murmured and stepped back, "I guess I'll get going then."

"Very well." Amaterasu nodded her head, her voice sounding a bit strained, but she put on a smile, "Come home safe, alright? I'll be waiting for you. Don't have too much fun, okay?"

The young man didn't bother telling her that he likely wouldn't, for as much as he itched to experience the world, he did not wish to leave his mother either.. He knew better than to argue, though, so he instead simply turned around and made his way down the steps of his home, and out of the gates. It was at that moment, when his feet crossed the torii and space began to shift, that he thought he heard a whisper from behind.

"No, I'm definitely not doing this for myself…"

The voice was one he knew well, even as he failed to make out the words, but never had he heard such agony contained within. His thoughts broke as his body twisted and space compressed, his location in existence changing as energy suffused him, and he paid no more mind to what he was certain were nothing more than the whispers of the wind.

He found himself in a field, not a single sign of civilization in sight. All that could be seen was tall grass, and a large forest spreading as far as he could see. A path lead up to an opening in the dense nature, a couple of rocks and boulders along with a large gate that would likely mark the start of the path going through the woods.

Sasuke took a step forward, and felt a slight smile creep up onto his face.

For the first time in his life, he was on his own.

The dark-haired demi-deity was a bit curious about how things would turn out. This would be a new experience, and it would likely be more exciting than just staying in the Pantheon. He was a bit apprehensive, but that didn't mean he wasn't excited.

Sasuke hummed thoughtfully, as he made his way toward the path leading to the forest. As the young man stepped closer to the gate, he glanced over at the sign. It was written in both kanji and english.

"Kuroyuri Village?" He read aloud.

'I wonder what this place is like,' Sasuke thought as he walked past the sign and toward the path ahead.

His journey had only just begun, and it was already turning out to be a new adventure. Yet unbeknownst to him, the adventure was about to get a whole lot more interesting. Because what was supposed to be a village, was just a bunch of ruins. The buildings were decimated, and the entire place looked like it'd been hit by a massive explosion.

But, at the same time, it didn't look fresh. This couldn't have been the aftermath of what his uncle had sensed. The rubble was covered in moss, overgrown with vines, and the path looked at least a couple of decades old.

It was a mystery.

The young man's eyes widened a bit as they turned a deep crimson red, three dark tomoe swirling into existence as he scanned his surroundings, the air around the place felt different. It was a mixture of emotions, anger, sadness, and the feeling of loss. There was also an underlying sensation of malice, a feeling that wasn't quite there, but still one that he could sense.

'It's like...' Sasuke paused for a moment, before letting out a small sigh, 'I'll figure it out later. Let's see what's ahead.'

As Sasuke continued along the path, he found a clearing where a single building stood. It was a house, or at least what used to be a house. It was in a similar shape as the rest of the village, yet at the same time not quite as dilapidated.

It was an old, rundown shack, and the door was hanging off the hinges. It seemed like whoever was here was long gone. Yet the house was also a bit too maintained to just be completely abandoned.

There was a large crack on the outside of the walls, and the windows were broken. Yet the wood wasn't rotting, nor did it look that old. Almost as if someone had been taking care of it.

'Maybe someone still lives here,' Sasuke mused, 'It's worth a shot.'

Stepping forward, he gently knocked on the door. Yet after a moment, no one responded. So the demi-deity slowly opened the door, the hinges squeaking as it creaked open.

It was a single room, a living area with a table and a kitchen, and a few doors that led to what he could assume was a bedroom and a bathroom. It was quite spacious. Yet, it was empty.

There was a slight exception. Hay and sheets were gathered together in almost the shape of a nest right in the corner of the room. As if someone had just been sleeping there, and was planning on coming back.

Sasuke blinked in surprise, a small frown forming on his face. This didn't make sense, why would someone live here? Especially with the state of the rest of the village.

"Hello...?" Sasuke called out, and yet he didn't receive a response.

'Guess they aren't home.' He thought and turned to leave.

Yet as the young man made his way to the door, his foot collided with a piece of paper that had been lying on the floor. He didn't give it much thought, not until he glanced down at it.

It was a newspaper clipping, dated for March 12th, 2011. Sasuke's brow raised slightly as he picked it up and read it.

'March 12th, 2011 - The Kuroyuri tragedy.' He hummed, a bit unsure if this event could possibly be connected to what his uncle had sensed. Maybe this hadn't been the first time something had happened here, 'At approximately 2:45 am, the small village of Kuroyuri was hit with a massive earthquake that completely levelled the entire town. No one was found alive, and many were reported missing. Police and emergency personnel were sent to the scene, however the town was completely decimated, and many were left in a state of grief.'

"An earthquake...?" He wondered out loud as the young man's crimson eyes scanned over the paper. Yet the more he read, the more confusion began to bubble inside of him, "Why would there be a newspaper here, if there were no survivors? Unless this wasn't a natural disaster..."

Something didn't seem right.

Sasuke's brows furrowed as he stepped outside and pocketed the newspaper. There had to be more to this, and he wasn't about to just brush it aside, "What a pain... I didn't figure I would have to do detective work when I came here." He sighed and turned to walk back toward the entrance of the village.

He'd have to investigate this matter a bit further, and see if he could find a possible clue or two.

'This better be worth it,' The demi-deity grumbled as he stepped into the forest, his crimson eyes scanning the area, 'If I'm just on a wild goose chase I'm going to be pissed.'

As the young man trekked deeper into the woods, he noticed something strange. A faint outline of footprints in the dirt, as if someone had walked here recently. They were leading back to the village. If it hadn't been for his visual prowess, he likely wouldn't have noticed how different it looked compared to an animal.

'That's odd,' Sasuke hummed and followed the footprints. They lead back into the forest, and to a small cliff that overlooked a small lake. The water was crystal clear, and a waterfall was feeding the body.

Sasuke could see the sun reflecting off of the surface of the lake, and the small fish swimming in the water.

A faint smile formed on the young man's lips as he sat down, his legs dangling over the edge, and the wind blowing through his hair.

This wasn't so bad. It was a rather relaxing area, and the sounds of nature were a lot more pleasant than the constant chatter that would always fill the Pantheon. He'd never really appreciated the sound of a waterfall, and the chirping of the birds, but it brought him peace now.

Yet as he sat there, just enjoying a break. A sudden rustling came from behind him, making the demi-deity freeze up. 'Someone's here,' He thought as he narrowed his eyes.

Carefully he'd reach behind him, and wrap his fingers around the handle of the sword strapped to the back of his waist. It appeared to be a simple blade, but it was anything but. The Kusanagi no Tsurugi, a plainly adorned blade, at least it seemed so from afar. White wrappings and a gold hilt led into an oddly straight blade that clashed with its obvious Japanese stylings.

It was only upon closer inspection that the unnatural and masterful craftsmanship was plain to see. The tsuka ito shimmered with a faint but otherworldly glow, and stuck and smoothed against whatever grip held it. The tsuba looked like a treasure with its solid gold material, and emitted a faint warmth, bringing relief and comfort to any who might brush against it.

Sasuke's eyes narrowed as the sound of branches cracking beneath someone's feet met his ears, and he drew the blade from its saya. The metal rang as the clean blade reflected rays of sunlight across the body of water beneath, Sasuke leaped up from his sitting position and twirled around on his feet.

He brought the blade down, yet instead of hitting anything, it was parried...by claws? He raised a brow and leaped backward with a quick flip to land on the water of the pond, his energy pooling at his feet to tense its surface.

A figure had landed right where he'd just been, their hand having blocked his blade with razor-sharp claws. The person appeared to be a young woman, with pale skin and long black hair down to her back tied in a braid with two long strands sticking out on the sides in her face. Her eyes are golden yellow with slit-shaped pupils and her cheeks have red, whisker-like marks on them. She had two pointy ears at the top of her head, the same color as her jet-black hair...yet, she also had nine tails, that were all as white as fresh snow.

"A youkai..." He hummed curiously as he eyed the woman with his Sharingan, his crimson eyes flickering to her tails and then to her ears, "A kyuubi at that, just like Yasaka and Kunou… that's quite rare to find in a place like this."

Yet, even as he talked, the woman had no intention of answering. Her appearance, despite being extremely beautiful, was feral. Like she wasn't in her right mind at all. And the amount of natural energy leaking into the atmosphere was surprising. He hadn't sensed anything before, but now it was so obvious even a human would be able to feel it.

"So...why is there a youkai of the Nine-Tailed fox breed, in the middle of a forest, all the way on an island so far from Kyoto?" He hummed to himself and twirled the blade around, the metal glistening in the light.

Sasuke couldn't tell if the girl was just a wild beast, or if she was in some sort of trance. Yet if all the energy swirling around her was any indication, she had to be at least linked to whatever was going on here.

The kitsune narrowed her eyes and snarled, the hair on the back of her neck rising and her claws flexing. Her tails lashed back and forth, and her ears folded back against her head as she leaped forward with enough force to crack the rock formation she'd stood on.

Yet Sasuke simply ducked under her attack, his eyes predicting her movements before she had even begun them, and rolled away to create some distance. It was evident the woman had no idea what she was doing. She was simply attacking whatever crossed her path and nothing more.

"I'd love to ask you what's going on here," He stated and held the sword out, the tip pointed toward the kitsune, "But I don't think you'd be able to answer. So, I'm gonna have to make this quick."

Sasuke didn't really like the idea of hurting someone who could be completely innocent, but it was necessary. He didn't know what kind of mental state the woman was in, and he wasn't about to get mauled for trying to have a civil conversation.

'Sorry about this.' The dark-haired demi-deity mused and quickly vanished, the water beneath his feet splashing as he rushed forward and appeared right next to the kitsune. His sword raised and ready to strike, but before he could, the kyuubi's tails exploded in bright yellow flames.

Momentarily blinded, he flicked the sword down to cut through the mana before he could get burned. The fire dispersed around him, the flames flickering out as the Kusanagi no Tsurugi cut through their very spirit as quickly as they'd manifested. This did not phase or suprise the woman, lost in her haze, and the kyuubi lunged forward with nails slashing toward his throat.

Sasuke's brow twitched, his crimson eyes narrowing and the three tomoe in his eyes spinning as he quickly parried the claws. The two stared each other down for a moment, a flurry of emotions dancing in the kyuubi's gaze, and a slight twitch forming at the corner of her mouth.

His sword was the Kusanagi, and just like with the flames it could cut through those claws if he really wanted it to...but if it meant hurting her in the process, he wasn't interested in that. She was a youkai, and thus she was practically under his protection because of who his mother was. It wouldn't make much sense for him to go to such drastic lengths.

At the same time, however, it was evident the kitsune was too far gone. Something must've happened, and the only thing left was a beast. A being that would only act on pure instinct.

He could sense a large amount of malice and negative emotions swirling around inside her, coupled with a strong urge to kill. It was as if there was something inside her, controlling her actions, and driving her to do horrible things.

It was almost like a curse.

But it wasn't the first time he'd heard about something similar. Senjutsu was an odd thing. Natural energy was an almost impossible skill to master if you did not have an inborn aptitude for it. And yet at the same time, that same talent made one susceptible to not just the power it had, but also the burden of the world it brought into them. The land, especially those which humans resided in, were filled with negative emotions and feelings. Hate and envy seeped into the earth like weeds, and grief and pain were cast off onto the ground like trash. This woman was practically bursting at the seams with natural energy, and if she had been enveloped in that kind of influence for too long…it was no wonder she had lost her would also explain why everywhere she chased him, there was this trail of senjutsu in the air. Like she was repeatedly tapping into it, drawing it from the wildlife and foliage around her.

Sasuke could try and talk to her, try and see if he could possibly get through to her...but the chances were slim. He was pretty sure he'd just be wasting his time.

"I suppose, this isn't the way I'd prefer to do this, but..." He hummed and took a step back, his hand gripping the sword tightly and the air around him rippling.

Sasuke vanished, the ground beneath his feet cratering, and he reappeared behind the kitsune. His sword now sheathed, he grasped onto one of her wrists and slammed an elbow into her lower back. Using the leverage on her arm quickly after to toss her back toward the woods.

The kyuubi tumbled forward and fell onto her side. A loud yelp escaped her as her body hit the ground, and her tail smacked into a tree. Oh yeah, she seemed pissed alright.

She was on her feet again in a second, a deep snarl rumbling through her chest and her golden eyes blazing. Her claws flexed and her fangs bared as she glared daggers at him.

'Guess the easy way isn't an option then...' Sasuke grumbled as the woman rushed toward him again. She was a lot faster than he'd anticipated, and her attacks were precise, despite looking like the wild flailings of a beast.

The young man quickly jumped away, landing near the edge of the pond as the kyuubi's fist missed his nose by inches. He couldn't help but wonder, if she wasn't in a blood frenzy, would she be even more skilled in combat? He'd probably have to find out later.

Her tails lashed out and tried to strike at him from the sides, while her hands attempted to grab him. Sasuke quickly ducked under one tail, and twirled around the other as he grabbed her wrist, and flipped her over his shoulder.

Yet, before her body could hit the water, she used her tails to propel herself forward. She flew through the air and her claws slashed downward, aimed directly for his neck.

Sasuke blinked and tilted his head to the side, the sharp nails barely grazing the side of his throat as they ripped through his shirt and grazed his collarbone. The blood dripped down his chest and soaked into his clothes, yet he paid it no mind.

It'd been a long time since he'd been hit during a fight, but it wasn't an issue. A couple of seconds later, his skin had already knitted itself back together.

The Kyuubi had a moment of hesitation, her golden eyes widening a fraction and her jaw slacking, but it was over in an instant. Her expression hardened again and her fangs bared, her eyes glowing with fury as she let out an enraged growl.

She swung her fist at him, but before it could hit, Sasuke grasped onto her wrist and pulled her toward him. He raised his leg and kneed her in the gut, causing her to let out a small cough as the air was knocked from her lungs.

"I really didn't want to have to do this," He sighed and quickly slammed his forehead against her, making her yelp and stumble backward.

A large gash was visible on her forehead, blood dripping down her face and into her eyes. She growled and tried to wipe it away, yet the red liquid continued to flow, blinding her temporarily.

Sasuke sighed and gathered his chakra to his eyes, the power building up shortly. Timed perfectly as she raised her head to look straight at him, she froze completely still.

He hadn't even had the chance to use his technique... and yet, the yellow glow in her eyes faded as she stared at his own. As if they were familiar to her, she started to reach toward them.

Inches away, not that he'd let her get any closer, she suddenly stumbled forward. As all the energy connected to her was seemingly cut off, she fell against the water and started to sink.

Sasuke grimaced and reached through the water's surface and pulled her out, plopping her onto his shoulder.

"This is going to be a long day." He sighed and made his way out of the lake.

Sasuke trudged through the forest. The girl's body was heavy, made even more so with the water suffusing her tails, but he carried her with little trouble. The sun had started to set, and the moon began to rise by the time he made his way toward the hut he'd found earlier. It was a wild guess, but he was assuming that she was the one who'd been living there. Once he'd healed and attended to the various injuries he found on her, he'd placed her down in the nest-like bed and prepared a fire in the fireplace.

She was out cold and didn't seem to be waking up anytime soon. But, it was fine. He'd just stay the night and continue his investigation the following morning.

"It's not like she'll be awake any time soon," He said to himself and sat down on the floor, his arms crossed and his sword leaning against the wall next to him.

The crackling of the fire was the only thing filling the silence, and the moonlight seeped in through the windows and illuminated the room. Sasuke hummed and leaned his head back against the wall, his crimson gaze falling on the kitsune and her peaceful expression.

He looked at her for a moment, before his crimson eyes faded back to their usual onyx, and he let his own rest begin to take him.

'What a weird day.' He mused but didn't bother thinking too much about it. He'd figure it out when his Sun rose again.

So that's chapter 1, let me know what you think. Yeah, it will involve incest. Man gonna tap Amaterasu, Ahri, and Yasaka might be part of it, and maybe someone else too. Who knows? Anyhow, until next time.

Also, if anyone wondering, his outfit is pretty much just based on Indra's from Naruto's filler arc. Though the sleeves are cut short, so it'd be easier to fight in. I can't imagine it'd be easy using a sword with such loose-ass sleeves that are that long, lol.
