"So how did the conversation between Eida and you go Sasuke?" Naruto asked as he threw another ice pack that melted away.
It was the next day and he and Sasuke were walking the streets of Konoha. They were heading in the direction to meet up where Gaara, Kankuro, and Temari would be because if they remembered correctly, the Chunin Exams should be about to happen.
Sasuke smiled. "It actually went rather well. I'm going to talk with her again later on. She thinks that I can use her techniques and wants to test it." He replied.
"Wow that must be nice. Unlike Delta, who decided to use my balls as a kicking bag." Naruto said. They were good now, thanks to the dozens of ice packs he used and his regenerative factor.
The two noticed Team 10 snacking up ahead. Ino of course noticed Sasuke and immediately stood up and ran to him.
She smiled warmly. "Sasuke-kun, is that you?!" She questioned excitedly before hugging him. She fully expected for him to shove her off of him like usual and respond with a 'Don't touch me again.'
What she didn't expect was arms to wrap around her and hug her back.
Sasuke grinned at her. "It's nice to see you Ino. How are you?" He asked her.
Ino immediately turned red and hot. "I-I'm f-fine Sasuke-kun y-you??" She stuttered out as they released from each other.
"Likewise. Make sure you stay up to par with your training. I hope to see you be one of the strongest kunoichi one day." He replied.
Ino smiled warmly at the sweet comment. She didn't know what was wrong with him, but she of course welcomed this new Sasuke with pleasure. She nodded in response. "Thanks Sasuke-kun." She responded.
Naruto grinned widely as he knew what Sasuke was doing. His best friend must've thought it would be best to build bonds and not separate himself from others this time around. It was smart of him to do. Plus he was encouraging also, so it would help her reach her potential faster.
"Oi Ino! I'm here too!!" He yelled out to her.
Ino was still smiling as she turned to Naruto. "Oh hey Naruto. Are you alright?" She asked him.
"Yeah just sore in some..areas. Hey Shika and Choji!" He yelled to them as they walked up.
"What's with all the yelling Naruto? But what's up. Do you both want to join us?" Shikamaru asked as he looked at Naruto and Sasuke.
"Maybe another time we have somewhere to be. Right Sasuke?" Naruto questioned.
Sasuke nodded. "It was good seeing you three, but we'll be on our way now. See you later." He said. Both waved to Team 10 as they left.
"Sasuke seems way more talkative for some reason, or am I the only one who noticed it?" Choji questioned out. He could count on one hand how many words Sasuke spoke to them.
"I noticed it too and I love it." Ino said with a wide smile.
"Hm both seemed different..I don't know what it is, but I can tell." Shikamaru said as he looked thoughtful.
"Well we'll find out eventually what it is. Let's get back to eating." Choji said as he rushed back to his chips. Shika and Ino shook their heads and followed.
-Meanwhile-
"Let me go!" Konohamaru yelled as he struggled against Kankuro's grip.
"Haha no can do kid. It's fun watching you squirm." Kankuro chuckled.
Temari shook her head at her brother. She tried to warn him, but it seemed like he would have to learn on his own.
"Release him now or I will call someone." Sakura growled out herself. She was nearby and noticed the trouble. Hopefully someone came soon. Moegi and Udon stood terrified and nervously beside her.
"Butt out Pinky. No one asked for you to talk. As matter of fact..how about I end you right here, right now?" Kankuro grinned maliciously as he was about to take out his puppet.
"How about you not?" A narrowed eyed Sasuke said coldly as he grabbed and lifted Kankuro by the throat, making him drop Konohamaru. He then threw him beside Temari. Temari looked at Sasuke with interest and blushed at him.
"Haha that's what you get!" Naruto laughed at Kankuro as he appeared beside Sasuke.
"Sasuke-kun! Naruto! You're both here!!" Sakura yelled with a relieved smile. Just in time too.
Naruto walked to Konohamaru to check on him. He smiled with nostalgia at his childish form, knowing the strong and reliable Shinobi he came to be in the future. "You alright kid?" He asked him.
Konohamaru stood up and dusted off his clothes. "All good here boss." He responded with a smile and thumbs up. Moegi and Udon went to Konohamaru and hugged him.
Kankuro lividly growled as he stood up. "I'm going to show you why me-" he was interrupted.
"Kankuro."
Everyone looked up to see Gaara hanging upside down on the tree. Naruto and Sasuke were reminded of last time. His Chakra..felt dark, evil, and malignant. They almost forgot how murderous Gaara was around this time.
He scolded Kankuro and even said he would kill him if he did something stupid like that again. He hopped down from the tree and walked beside them. The three then started walking away.
"Hey..what's your name?" Sasuke questioned out. He decided to humble Gaara a bit.
Gaara turned his head back and looked curiously at Sasuke "Gaara, Ga-"
"I wasn't talking about you..I meant her." Sasuke said as he smirked.
Naruto chuckled at Gaara's look of slight surprise. He remembered that it was reversed last time.
Temari turned with a blush and smile. "Oh me? My name is Temari. What's yours?"
"Sasuke Uchiha. Can't wait to see you in the exams." He said to her.
Temari's smile widened. "Same to you. Both of you look strong. You and your friend-"
"Naruto Uzumaki." Naruto said with a friendly grin.
"Naruto. I wish you well. You also-" Temari paused again.
"Sakura Haruno." Sakura said with a friendly smile on the outside. On the inside Inner Sakura was raging.
"CHA! She's trying to take Sasuke-kun away from us!!" Inner Sakura angrily yelled.
"Sakura. These are my troublesome brothers Kankuro and Gaara. See you guys at the exams!" Temari smiled and waved. The Suna trio then started to walk away.
"What did you mean by the exams Sasuke-kun?" Sakura asked him.
Naruto answered. "He means the Chunin Exams. We can go from Genin to Chunin when we enter. Kakashi Sensei should already have it set up."
"Yeah. It's going to be an interesting experience." Sasuke followed.
"Hm do you two think we're ready for it?" Sakura asked curiously.
"More than ready! Team 7 got this in the bag. How about we go get some ramen and eat as a team?" Naruto suggested.
Sasuke and Sakura agreed.
-Cutscene-
"What's with you being extra friendly with the ladies Sasuke? I understand that you want to bond more and all but I am curious." Naruto asked and said.
After Team 7 finished their delicious meals of ramen, everyone went their separate ways. Before they left, Kakashi met up with them and told them he put them in the Chunin Exams. He also gave them ther IDs.
Now he and Sasuke were back at the main house in the Uchiha Compound.
Sasuke was about to answer before Eida suddenly appeared.
"I would also like to know, Sasuke." She said with crossed arms and narrowed eyes.
"Wait so this is Eida Sasuke? Nice to meet you! I'm Naruto Uzumaki." Naruto said with a friendly smile. Naruto could admit she sure was pretty.
Eida smiled back. "Right back at you Naruto." She said and looked back at Sasuke with a raised eyebrow. "Answer?" She questioned.
"Well to put it bluntly, I'm just taking advantage of what I didn't last time." Sasuke replied without hesitation. "Plus yes, I want to build bonds and grow more closer to people in general, unlike last time also." He said.
"Well..at least he was honest. Do whatever you want to Sasuke. We're here to support you, right Eida?" Naruto asked her.
Eida stood silently and continued looking at Sasuke with narrowed eyes. She then grabbed his arm and dragged him outside of the house. The door was slammed shut behind them.
Naruto chuckled. "Seems like the bastard is going to get the treatment I did yesterday."
"Not really. At least not the real me." Sasuke said with a smirk, somehow still beside Naruto.
Naruto had to hide his scared expression. "Let me guess, replaced with a clone at the last second?"
Sasuke nodded. "There are important things for us to discuss that's coming up. Mainly Orochimaru, Gaara, and Konoha invasion."
"Right, so do you have a plan?" Naruto asked.
"About Orochimaru, I plan to steal the real Kusanagi from him and I can also kill him or do you think I should leave him alive?" Sasuke asked.
"Kill him. Orochimaru was too troublesome around this time. Taking him out would ease a lot of things. Plus we can free your friends later on." Naruto replied.
Sasuke nodded. "Good. Then Hiruzen will be alive this time around. Either he will retire and Tsunade will take over, or we can convince him to. I will also handle the Sound Four. Suna and Otogakure Ninja shouldn't be hard to take care of. It will probably be best to get rid of Kabuto also. I'm guessing you will be handling Gaara?" He asked.
"Hm of course..but what if we can prevent everything altogether? All we would have to do is prevent Orochimaru from killing the Fourth Kazekage. From the files I read as a Hokage, it said he was assassinated sometime during the Final Matches of the Chunin Exams, so he's still indeed alive. Speaking of that we should visit Takigakure also." Naruto said.
"To prevent Fu from dying right?" Sasuke questioned. He was familiar with the documents Naruto was talking about, considering he was his Shadow before.
Naruto nodded his head. "It will be best to get her to join Konoha. She most likely will, considering her personality. What will you do about Danzo..and Itachi?"
"Let's..just focus on what's going on right now Naruto." Sasuke replied.
Naruto heard the emotion in his tone, but didn't pry. "Right. You should check on Eida." He suggested.
"These are some delicious sweets you have in your fridge Uchiha." An approaching Delta said as she continued eating the Neapolitan Icecream.
"..but I don't like sweets." Sasuke responded monotone.
"Delta? Where did you come from??" Naruto asked.
"Well I was getting hungry and decided to come out and eat. Got a problem with that??" Delta scowled.
Naruto shook his head with quickness.
Sasuke looked between the two and shook his head as he got up.
"I'll be back." He said and went to find Eida.
"What's his problem?" Delta asked as she took another bite.
Naruto shrugged in response. "I'm curious, can I use your powers?" He questioned.
"Hm why would you want to use them?" She questioned back.
"Well your powers were pretty cool and you are an amazing fighter. I wouldn't mind having them." Naruto said with a smile.
Delta slightly blushed at the compliment. "Hymp well I am pretty amazing as you can see." She replied with an arrogant grin.
"But I'm more amazing considering I bea-" before Naruto could finish, he received a spoonful of icecream to the face. 'Hey!!' He yelled to her. Delta giggled in response.
-To Sasuke and Eida-
When Sasuke walked outside, he could see Eida sitting down on the steps, looking spaced out. He was curious on what happened to his clone and why he didn't receive any memories back.
"Eida.." he called out to her.
When she turned her head, he was actually surprised to see tear streaks on her face,signifying that she was recently crying.
Before he could say something, Eida spoke up. "Do..you not like me?" She asked him, voice filled with emotion.
Sasuke walked down the steps and sat beside her. "What do you mean?" He asked back as he looked at her intently.
Eida turned and hung her head. "I mean exactly that. If you just want to use me for your purpose just like Kara did, all you have to do is say so. I'd rather you be honest, so I can hurt now. Than to lie and I hope for something that's not there, and be hurt later." She said.
Sasuke looked thoughtful for a second before responding. "Fine then. I want to use you for my purpose-"
Eida felt her heart get shattered in a million pieces as her head snapped up to Sasuke in anger.
She was about to say something, but Sasuke held his hand up. "You didn't let me finish. I want to use you for my purpose is what I would say if I was lying, but I see you as more than that. Remember when I let you see through my memories yesterday?" He asked referring to when they were watching the sunset.
Eida's face expression softened and she nodded.
"I myself was manipulated..over the course of most of my life when I was younger during that time. I know what it's like being used, so why would I want for someone else to experience that? Especially someone like you?" He asked.
Eida's eyes widened as she blushed. "Someone..like me?"
Sasuke nodded with a grin and gently wiped the tear streaks. "You have never wronged me and didn't even look through my memories without my consent. Why wouldn't I like someone like that?" He asked her matter of factly.
Eida smiled warmly at him in response. He was really sweet. It was surprising when she saw how dark and murderous he was in the past. It was like two different people.
Her eyes widened again as she felt a gentle touch on her forehead. It was filled with warmness and the genuine feeling she oh so desired and wanted from someone else.
Sasuke stood up and held his hand down towards Eida. "Let's head back inside." He said.
The blushing and smiling Eida grabbed his hand and he lifted her up. "Okay Sasuke." She replied. She watched his back in thought as he started walking first.
'Sasuke deserves all the love he can and will get. If anyone hurts or betrays him..they will be dealt with swiftly.' She thought with an assuring nod. She touched the spot on her forehead and smiled widely. 'But none will be over me as I was first.'
"Quick question before we walk inside." Sasuke said with his hand on the doorknob.
Eida looked curious. "What is it Sasuke?" She asked.
"What happened with my clone?" He asked with curiosity.
"Let's just say..space and clones don't match." Eida replied with a giggle.
Sasuke's eyes slightly widened at that before he shook his head. He was glad it wasn't him. He then opened the door and waited for Eida to enter first. His Mother always told him to be a gentleman.
Eida smiled at his chilvary before she entered.
When they entered they were surprised to see well everything painted with icecream.
"Chocolate attack!!" Naruto laughed as he launched the chocolate icecream balls at Delta.
Delta easily dodged them and smirked. "Try harder Loser! Icecream beam!!" She yelled and blasted Naruto with Icecream.
"Oi that's Sasuke's word!" Naruto yelled back. Naruto noticed Sasuke and Eida. "Hey guys want to join the fun?!"
Sasuke glanced at Eida, who glanced back.
Ah what the Hell
"Icecream Chibaku Tensei." Sasuke said calmly. All the Icecream gathered in a particularly large Icecream ball.
"..You don't plan on throwing that on Delta and I...right Sasuke?" Naruto asked nervously.
A smirking Sasuke nodded towards Eida who smiled back in response. She jumped up and kicked the Icecream ball at the two.
"BAASSTtarrdss!!" Naruto and Delta yelled simultaneously before getting hit by it.
