Thoughts and Flashbacks: I wonder what's for lunch

Chapter 1: Where Are You?

Third Person's POV

Billy had decided on taking a look around Angel Grove in his civilian form so that he could really see what had changed since he had last been here and as he looked around he ended up at the Angel Grove Youth Center which he learned hadn't changed all that much since he had left except for the fact that he had discovered that the once Lt. Stone was now in charge of the Center due to the fact that Ernie had travelled to South America.

Billy decided on taking a look around the Center as well as on grabbing a bite to eat since he hadn't had anything to eat from Earth in just under a year so he sat down and ordered the largest burger that he could along with a large chocolate milkshake before taking a seat at the table that he and the other Rangers once sat at when they used to go there before they split up.

It wasn't long after he had started eating that he noticed the Pink and Yellow Rangers sitting down at the table next to his in their civilian form and he couldn't help but notice that they seemed to be staring at him when they thought he wasn't looking and Billy ended up smirking at the thought that the two Rangers didn't know he was the Phantom Ranger but they kept watching him as if waiting for him to disappear.

He thought that it was kind of amusing and couldn't help but laugh quietly at them when all of a sudden, his Ruby alerted him to the arrival of a new monster in Angel Grove so after finishing his meal and drink, he left the money for the meal as well as a tip on the table with him being able to do that thanks to Zordon and the people of Eltar.

While he had not been on Earth for some time Zordon as well as the people of Eltar had aided him in regards to all of the money, gold and jewels that he had gained over the months of his travelling the universe by gifting him a device that allowed him to transform the money he has into the currency of the planet that he was currently on as well as being able to keep it all on his person at any given time so his enemies would not be able to retrieve it without capturing him first.

He then headed off to his ship in order to see what was going on but once he reached his ship and took a look at all of his instruments, he saw that everything and everyone were just, vanishing, when he took a look at his more thorough readings he realised that the people and objects were in fact being sent to another dimension that made it seem like they were no longer there when in fact they were still in the same location but they had just been turned invisible and nobody in the original dimension could touch them unless it was allowed by the monster Translucitor which caused the Rangers to think that Angel Grove and all of its citizens were gone.

Billy tracked the Rangers to where the current version of the Command Center was but before he could consider doing anything he saw them teleport themselves to the side of Angel Grove Lake most likely trying to find a location that they could guarantee was a part of Angel Grove and as Billy pulled the area up on his on board viewing screen he saw that a group of Piranhatron's had been turned invisible and that they were about to start attacking the rangers.

Billy knew that he had to help them due to the fact that he would be the only one that would be able to see and hit any of the Piranhatron's because of the advanced technology he had in his helmet and armour, courtesy of Aquitar, Eltar and some of the other planets that he had visited, so he exited his craft and placed it into its cloaked mode before he transformed into his second ranger form and so, pulling the Ruby from around his neck he transformed.

"Phantom Power"

Billy's phantom uniform just seemed to appear around him as if he was already wearing it but had just turned it invisible the very same way he could turn invisible himself and after ensuring that nobody could locate his ship he teleported a short distance from the Rangers location making sure to enter his camouflaged mode before he did so.

When Billy located the Rangers he discovered that they were currently facing off against the squadron of invisible Piranhatron's that he had seen on his ships computer and that the Piranhatron's were winning the fight due to the fact that the Rangers were unable to see where they were supposed to attack and so, still in his hidden form Billy ran towards the fight and flipped the Piranhatron that was about to attack the Red Ranger onto the ground following up by taking out the Piranhatron that was holding said ranger from behind, by attacking it's neck.

Billy headed to deal with the Blue Rangers enemies next and grabbing the creatures arm, he pulled the thing over his head and slammed it into the ground while sending the second tumbling to the ground after tripping it over his feet and as for the Green and Yellow Rangers he slammed into two of their enemies while kicking the third in the stomach and sending it into the tree behind it while knocking the fourth out with a heavy punch to the face.

Before he could even take a step towards the Piranhatron that were attacking the Pink Ranger they took off running, obviously not wanting to take their chances with the dangerous Ranger and Billy couldn't help but be thankful for that as it saved him time and made it so that he could help the Pink Ranger up before he left to try and figure out a plan of attack and so walking over to the Pink Ranger, allowing his camouflage, to drop in the process, Billy held out his hand to the girl kneeling before him, holding her shoulder in slight pain.

"So it was you all along, oh man, you showed up just in time, I guess I owe you a big thank you."

Billy spoke up once again something that only seemed to happen around the Rangers of his home Planet as he had never done so before, at least as the Phantom, "are you ok?"

"Now I am"

Billy then started walking off after ensuring that the girl was alright, but as he got a little bit of distance between the two of them the Pink Ranger spoke up once again, causing him to turn the top half of his body to spin around to show her that he was listening to her question.

"Hey, wait a minute, you didn't even tell us your name"

Without answering her question Billy activated his cloaking device once more and disappeared from the Rangers vision, moving out of the sight of the lake since the reflection would give him away like it was doing to both Angel Grove and the Piranhatron and after making sure that the rangers were okay for the moment Billy once again teleported back to his ship to try and locate the monster that was the cause of all this, Translucitor.

It wasn't long after when another of Billy's alarms activated inside his ship letting him know that not only had Translucitor had been found but that the Rangers had also come under attack from him and the Red, Blue and Green Rangers had been captured by him while the Yellow and Pink Rangers had in fact escaped from him.

Billy decided to head over to their location and after teleporting he discovered that the three of them were all in the same location, the forest not to far outside of Angel Grove and he couldn't help but be glad that he teleported straight away since Translucitor was just about to fire on the two rangers and moving almost immediately he attacked the newest monster that was threatening Angel Grave.

Grabbing his arm before he could run away and he flipped the monster over himself and onto the ground and before he could move again Billy placed his foot onto him in order to hold him in place and the monster called out telling the Ranger to stop and get off him while the other two Rangers spun around and turned their guns on the obviously upset Translucitor with Billy taking his foot off of him after he saw their guns on the monster.

The two seemed confused until Billy took off his camouflage mode allowing Translucitor to run away and the female Rangers to be able to see him, surprising the two of them in the process and the Pink Ranger spoke up saying that it was him again and after Translucitor had taken off through the bushes and trees Billy started walking off down the path before the two new Rangers spoke up.

"It looks like you came to our rescue again"

"Thanks" and Billy nodded in reply to the Yellow Rangers thanks

The Pink Ranger then spoke up with a question that Billy never wanted to answer, "Please, won't you tell us who you are?"

Without saying anything Billy walked off and activated his cloaking equipment not saying anything else even as the Pink Ranger spoke up once more, Billy then teleported to the rocket that held the three trapped Rangers and watched on as the other two saved their three comrades and defeated the monster before Divatox eventually forced the Rangers to take the battle up a notched, with them gaining aid from their ally the Blue Senturion.

It was not long before the rangers managed to defeat their enemy and return Angel Grove back to this dimension and it was at this point when Billy was going to de-morph when all of a sudden the Power Ruby went off letting Billy know that it had managed to locate the second Red, Yellow and Black Rangers and Billy knew that he needed to take their power coins to them immediately and so he teleported back to his ship so that he could retrieve the red, yellow and black Ninjetti coins.

Billy placed the three coins into separate boxes before he transported to the city that the three were living in, San Francisco, he decided on doing Adam first as he was a lot calmer then the other two so when he appeared before the once Black Ranger, with him making sure to leave a large gap between himself and Adam and he also hoped that Adam would give him a chance to talk before attacking him and it was a good thing that he left the gap as Adam swung around the second that Billy appeared behind him.

"Peace Black Ninjetti, I mean no harm to you, I have simply come to return something that once belonged to you" Billy then held out the box containing the black coin to Adam, giving him the choice to take it or leave it.

Adam seemed to think on it for a while before taking a couple of steps towards Billy then waiting, giving him a chance to attack should that be the reason that he was here for but when nothing happened Adam came into range of the box, taking it from Billy's hand and promptly taking a few more steps back from the dark figure that Billy was currently showing in his old friend's presence.

When Adam was out of range of Billy's strikes, he opened the box and upon seeing what was in it he gasped in shock but before Adam could say anything Billy teleported out of the room before heading towards Aisha and Rocky's locations so that he could repeat the process with him having the same reactions from the Yellow and Red Rangers at his appearance and gift, with him making sure that he left before any questions were asked.

After finishing off giving the power coins to the three Ninjetti Billy teleported back to his ship before de-morphing and he decided that it was time for him to get some rest and after checking on Angel Grove one last time he headed to the Artillatron and entered his room for some well-deserved rest.
