The group of Digidestined and their Digimon all yelled, as they dropped onto the ground, landing in a heap.
"Hey, I landed on something soft," Mimi said with a smile.
"That would be me fatty, now get off!" Yaamon said with a groan, as Mimi stood up and slugged him in the head.
"You little brat!" Mimi yelled out, as she glared at him.
"Oi! Is this how you treat a kid?!" Yaamon yelled back, as he glared back at her.
"Guys, enough" Sora said, as she stood up and looked around along with the others.
"Okay, so where are we, and what direction do we go in?" Himawari asked curiously.
"It looks like File Island, but with less life in it" Naruto said, as he looked around a bit, seeing that they were in a forest, only the grass and wildlife was way less green.
"What the heck is that?!" Joe yelled out in a panic, as he pointed upwards.
Everyone looked where he was pointing and they all gasped at what they saw, which was a spiral that went up to the sky, that was made of earth and water.
"It kinda looks like a mountain made up of all kinds of environments" Izzy said, as he looked at the mountain
"You think that's why this has less life?" TK asked curiously, as he looked around the area.
"What I want to know is where is everyone?" Tai said, as he looked around a bit.
As he said this, a bush behind them started to shake, before a figure ran out and crashed into Mimi, knocking her over.
"Hey! Back off!" Naruto yelled, as he grabbed his Digivice, along with Tai and Matt.
"Yaamon digivolve to…..Impmon!"
"Koromon Digivolve to….Agumon!"
"Tsunomon Digivolve to…Gabumon!"
"Hold on! I know this Digimon. Chuumon, is that you?" Mimi asked, as she looked at the Digimon in her arms, which was a pink rat, with crazy looking eyes.
"M-mimi? Palmon? Are you guys real?" Chuumon asked as he looked at them, before he started to cry.
"Wow. What's got you so depressed? Did someone steal your cheese?" Himawari asked, as she raised an eyebrow at this.
"Yea, shouldn't you be with your buddy Sukamon?" Labramon asked curiously, as she looked around.
"Yea, where is he?" Mimi asked, as she pet Chuumon to try and calm him down.
Chuumon started to cry harder at this, as he hugged Mimi tightly.
This got frowns from everyone, as this was not a good sign.
"I don't understand how things could have gotten so bad. We were only gone a few days, after all" Matt said as he looked around.
"That might have been from our point of view. But for these guys here, it could have been months" Izzy mused, as he rubbed his chin.
"Chuumon, how long have we been gone?" Palmon asked, as she stepped forward.
"It's been at least a year since you all left File Island" Chuumom said, as he calmed himself down.
This got looks of surprise from the humans and Digimon.
"What happened here?" Kari asked, deciding to get to the heart of it all, seeing as Chuumon was now calm.
"A bit after you all left, me and Sukamom were just hanging out, just eating and sleeping like always. When suddenly, the sky went dark and the earth started to shake. Next thing we know, the earth split open and Sukamon fell in and didn't come out" Chuumon said, as he started to cry again, as he thought about what happened to his friend
Everyone frowned at this, while Mimi patted him on the head to comfort him.
"What happened after that?" Agumon asked, as he stepped forward.
"After that, things got worse pretty quickly. Next thing we know, the entire Digital World was getting warped into Spiral Mountain" Chuumon said, as he pointed at said mountain.
"And who did that?" Gatomon asked curiously.
"These guys calling themselves the Dark Masters," Chuumon said, as he shivered in fear.
Impmon's eyes widened at this, before he scowled. "Those guys are back?!" he yelled out, as he clenched his fists at this.
"Do you know them?" Patamon asked with a tilt of his head.
"They're four Mega level Digimon, and they were the ones that the old team were trying to seal up, before I was….." Impmon was saying, before he paused
"Great. So we're dealing with old foes of the old team" Naruto said with a sigh.
"Cool! Let's finish what they started!" Himawari yelled, as she slugged her fist into her palm with a wide grin.
"Are you all crazy?! You all can't beat them!" Chuumon yelled in a panic at this.
"Well, three of us can go Mega," Gabumon said, as he pointed at himself, Agumon and Impmon.
Chuumon paused at this, as he looked at the three of them with hope in his eyes.
"Don't think that will help you all" a voice said from above them, causing everyone to look up at MetalSeadramon, who was floating above them.
"Izzy" Tai said, as he and the others stood at the ready.
Izzy quickly started to type on his laptop and pulled up the Digimon profiler. "Okay, that's MetalSeadramon, a Mega level Digimon. Its body is covered in the strongest metal, which is called Chrondigizoit alloy, which means its Metal Body reflects every attack. Furthermore, it has the fastest speed of movement among aquatic Digimon" he said, reading the info on his screen
"Ah! It's Mecha Godzilla! Quick, someone call King Kong!" Himawari yelled, as she pointed at the serpent Digimon.
Naruto and Sora both snorted at this.
MetalSeadramon glared down at Himawari. "I see that you have your mothers tongue. I'll enjoy ripping it out!" he yelled.
"Are you insane?!" Joe yelled at Himawari's joke, at the expense of the Mega level Digimon.
"Less talking, and more fighting stick boy!" Himawari yelled, as she looked at Labramon who nodded, ready to go.
"Let's do this guys!" Tai yelled out, as he stood at the ready.
"Agumon Digivolve to……Greymon!"
"Gabumon Digivolve to…..Garurumon!"
"Biyomon Digivolve to…..Birdramon!"
"Tentomon Digivolve to……Kabutarimon!"
"Palmon Digivolve to…..Togemon!"

All the champion Digimon stood at the ready, before they all fired their strongest attacks at the metal sea serpent.
Who simply just stood there and took the attacks.
"Oh jeez" Naruto said, as he saw that all the attacks didn't leave a mark.
"River of Power!" MetalSeadramon yelled, as he charged power through his nose, before firing it at them.
"Everyone take cover!" Matt yelled, as he grabbed TK.
"What he said!" Tai yelled, as he grabbed Kari.
"Oi! I'm not a China doll!" Himawari yelled, as Naruto grabbed her too.
"Zip it!" Naruto yelled, as the attack hit the earth, causing the ground to tear open and for all of them to fall into the new hole.
All of the flying Digimon quickly flew after them, with the non-flyers falling after them too.
"Hey, magic boy! Do something useful!" Himawari yelled at Wizardmon.
"Oh yeah, like what?" Wizardmon asked with a scowl.
"I don't know! Summon a magic carpet! Use some magic to slow down our fall! Just be quick about it!" Himawari yelled out.
Before anyone could respond, everyone suddenly stopped and started to float in the air.
"Hey, nice one Wizardmon" Sora said with a smile at him.
"Yeah, thanks for the save," Mimi said with a grin.
"I didn't know that you could do this," Togemon said as she looked around at the others, who were all floating in the air.
"Uh, not that I don't like getting some praise for once, but this isn't me - oi!" Wizardmon was saying, before he was slugged by Togemon.
"Sorry! It's not me!" Togemon yelled, as she went to take another swing at Wizardmon with her fists.
As this was happening, the other Digimon started to attack each other.
"What's going on here?" Matt asked in shock.
"Hey! Stop fighting each other!" TK yelled at Angemon, as he smacked Garurumon with his staff.
"Dobermon, heel!" Himawari yelled at her partner, as she attacked Greymon by biting his tail.
"Gahahahahahaha! You new kids are a lot more fun than the last batch!" a voice from above them yelled with a mad laugh.
The kids all looked up and saw Puppetmon with his hands out, which seemed to have strings attached to them, which seemed to be causing the Digimon to attack each other.
"Who's the Pinocchio wannabe?" Himawari asked with a tilt of her head.
"Hold on. I'll have the brains of your team look me up on your laptop" Puppetmon said, as he used his strings to make Izzy type on his laptop.
"Okay, let's see. Ah, here he is. Puppetmon, another Mega level Digimon. He was built from the body cursed Cherrymon, and it is thought that it was probably constructed from Cherrymon's data by a single fiendish hacker" Izzy said.
"Yup, that's me. Wow, there are more of you than the last team of brats. I don't think the numbers will help you though" Puppetmon said with a laugh.
"Hey, the last team beat you, didn't they?" Tai asked with an annoyed look on his face.
Puppetmon gained an annoyed look of his own at this. "Oi! They only won because they used a cheap move to seal us away!" he yelled at them.
"A win is a win, Pinocchio" Himawari said with a smug smile, at the fact that this subject obviously bothered the Puppet Digimon.
"So this is how we die, from heckling a puppet" Joe said with a groan.
"Fate is indeed cruel," Naruto said, as he shook his head at this.
"That's it! Puppet Pummel!" Puppetmon yelled, as he raised his mallet and aimed it at them, before firing a barrage of laser blasts at the humans and Digimon.
The attack sent them further down the hole and snapped the strings that were keeping them bound.
Soon, they all slammed onto the ground with the kids thankfully landing on top of their Digimon.
"Ugh. Okay, who's not dead? Sound off" Naruto groaned as he stood up.
"I'm ok!" Himawari yelled, as Dobermon stood up with her on her back, before she let her off.
"We're OK over here" Izzy said, as he and Joe walked over with their Digimon.
"Me and TK are fine" Matt said as they too approached, with their Digimon behind them.
"Same for me and Kari," Tai said, as he and his sister walked over, with Gatomon in Kari's arms while Greymon was behind them.
"We're fine too" Sora said, as she and Mimi approached, with Mimi carrying Chuumon in her arms, while their Digimon next to them.
"So where are we now?" TK asked as he looked around, seeing that they were in what looked like a foggy cave.
"Well, wherever we are, there is a breeze, so there must be an exit," Naruto said, as he felt a slight breeze.
"I'll go take a look" Angemon said, as he flew ahead where he felt the breeze coming from.
As he did this, he spotted a figure in the fog and soon he saw a pair of red eyes.
"Angemon, get back!" TK yelled, seeing the fog clear to reveal Machinedramon. But it was too late, as the Digimon aimed his cannons at Angemon.
"Giga Cannon" he said, before he fired two blasts from his cannons at the holy Digimon.
"Gaaaah!" Angemon yelled, as he was sent flying by the attack, before he de-digivolved back to Patamon and landed in TK's arms.
"Patamon!" TK yelled as he checked on his partner, who was knocked out but ok.
"Woah, that's a big machine," Naruto said, as he looked up at the Digimon.
Izzy quickly pulled up the Digimon profiler. "That Machinedramon, another Mega Digimon. His entire body is made up of different machine type Digimon. Fascinating" he said with wide eyes.
"Big doesn't mean a thing, except a bigger target! Come on, let's get him!" Tai said as he looked at Greymon, as his crest glowed brightly.
"We're all with you Tai!" Matt said as he nodded at this, along with the others as their crests began to glow too.
"Greymon Digivolve to……MetalGreymon!"
"Garurumon Digivolve to….WereGarurumon!"
"Birdramon Digivolve to….Garudamon!"
"Kabuterimon Digivolve to….Megakabuterimon!
"Togemon Digivolve to….Lillymon!"

Naruto looked at Zudomon as he stood with the others. "Huh, not bad Joe. I like the hammer" he said with a grin.
"Yea. I was kinda surprised he got something that cool too" Himawari said, as she crossed her arms.
The group of Ultimate level Digimon all charged at Machinedramon, ready to fight him.
"Giga Blaster!" MetalGreymon yelled, as he fired his missiles from his chest.
"Wolf Claw!" WereGarurumon yelled, as he swung his claws, sending red slash energy at the machine Digimon.
"Wing Blade!" Garudamon yelled, as she fired her attack.
"Horn Buster!" Megakabuterimon yelled, as he fired electricity from his horn.
"Flower Cannon!" Lillymon yelled as she fired her attack.
"Vulcan's Hammer!" Zudomon yelled, as he slammed his hammer down on the ground, sending a blast of yellow energy at the machine Digimon.
"Kamiuchi!" Baalmon yelled, as he swung his spiritual ship in his hands at the machine Digimon.
"Celestial Arrow!" Angewomon yelled, as she fired a pink arrow at Machinedramon.
"Emerald Blaze!" Cerberusmon yelled, firing green flames from her mouth hands after switching to Werewolf Mode.
The attacks all hit their mark and kicked up a lot of dust. But after a few moments, the dust settled and showed Machinedramon was completely unaffected.
"Are you kidding me?!" Naruto yelled out at this, as while he knew Machinedramon was a Mega level, they had nine ultimate level Digimon and that the gap couldn't be that big….could it?
"Take cover! I think we only annoyed him!" Sora yelled, as their Digimon all moved to block for them.
"Now it's my turn. Giga Cannon" Machinedramon said, as he took aim at them, before firing a barrage of blasts.
The blasts hit the team of Digimon, sending them and the kids flying down the cavern, while also de-digivolving them all back to rookie stage, except for Gatomon.
"D-damn it" Naruto groaned, as he passed out.
(Moments later)
Naruto groaned as he woke up, holding his head which was throbbing.
"Ugh" Naruto groaned out, as he shook his head a bit, before he looked around and after a few moments, he spotted the others passed out nearby. "Hey guys, wake up!" he yelled as he ran over to them.
"Ugh. Is it breakfast time?" Mimi asked as she woke up.
"You wish, prom queen. We got our collective asses kicked!" Himawari yelled, as she stood up and scowled.
"Language" Mimi said, as she looked at Himawari with a look of disapproval.
"Oh, go choke on a sandpaper - mpph!" Himawari was yelling, before Naruto quickly covered her mouth.
"What was she gonna say?" Mimi asked with narrowed eyes, as Tai and Matt's eyes widened in shock, as they realized what Himawari was most likely gonna say.
"Um, let's just say her favorite YouTube channel vivziepop taught her a few phrases that even my mom blushed at," Naruto said with a sigh.
"Where are we Matt?" TK asked as he looked around.
Everyone else looked around the area, and saw that there were now in what looked like an old Greek coliseum.
"It kinda looks like an old coliseum to me" Izzy said, as he looked around curiously.
Before anyone could say anything else, they heard some laughter and saw what looked like a clown rolling on a ball towards them.
"Greetings children and Digimon! Welcome to my stage!" the clown said with a smile and a wave at the kids.
"Pass! No clowns!" Himawari yelled, as she made an x motion with her arms.
"Yea, I have to agree. I saw that movie IT and this screams trap" Naruto said as he shuddered slightly.
Some of the older kids paled at this, as they hadn't thought of this, before they quickly looked at the clown with distrustful looks.
"What do they mean, Tai?" Kari asked curiously.
"Um, I'll tell you when you're older," Tai said with a nervous sweat.
The clown ignored this, as he took out what looked like a picture book. "Our story begins with ten Digidestined children, meant to finish what the last team had started. But -" he was saying, before a fireball hit his book courtesy of Impmon, which caused it to light on fire.
"We said that we're not buying it, Piedmon!" Impmon yelled out.
"So get off the stage, ya hack!" Himawari yelled at him, as she threw a piece of paper at him.
"Yea. I heard that Etemon put on a better show than you!" Labramon yelled with a nod.
The clown's eyebrow started to twitch at this, before his face went demonic and he transformed into Piedmon. "You dare to interrupt my showmanship, you little brats?!" he yelled, as he floated in the air.
"That was a show?" Sora asked curiously with a slight smirk on her face, getting snickers from Tai and Himawari.
"You Uzumaki brats will suffer first!" Piedmon yelled, as he pulled some swords from his back.
"Make a move then, clown boy!" Impmon yelled out with a smirk.
"Ah, the Sin of Gluttony. I had heard that you were reborn. And as the partner of one of the children that sealed us up. How poetic" Piedmon said with a laugh at this.
"Hey! If you want to fight, we can give you a fight!" Tai said, as he and Agumon stepped forward.
"Yea, we're not gonna let Naruto and Impmon have all the fun," Matt said with a nod, as he and Gabumon stepped forward.
"Well, if you think you can do better than the last team of Digidestined, then by all means, be my guest" Piedmon said with a smile and a bow.
"Let's do it guys!" Tai said, as he held out his Digivice as his crest glowed brightly.
"Right!/You got it!" Matt and Naruto yelled together, as they also held up their Digivices, while their own crests glowed.

"Agumon Bio-Merge to…..WarGreymon!"

"Impmon Bio-Merge to….. Beelzemon: Blast Mode!"
"Let's end this!" WarGreymon yelled, as he flew at Piedmon.
"I'm right behind you!" MetalGarurumon yelled, as he too flew at the Dark Master
"Hey, save some for me! I own him for what he did to me last time!" Beelzemon yelled out, as he flew after them.
"Terra Force!" WarGreymon yelled, as he charged his attack and threw it at Piedmon, who easily avoided it with a smirk on his face.
"Metal Wolf Claw!" MetalGarurumon yelled, as he fired his attack from his mouth, but the evil clown just took out a sword and slashed at the attack, turning it into ice, which caused the attack to fall helplessly
"Corona Blaster!" Beelzemon yelled out, as he blasted at Piedmon.
"Trump Sword!" Piedmon yelled, as he threw his swords at Beelzemon's blaster, causing him to aim up at the air and fire instead.
"Your aim has gotten rusty after so long," Piedmon said with a laugh at this, as Beelzemon's attack exploded above them.
Beelzemon growled at this, before he flew at him. "Shut your mouth!" he yelled, as he raised his claw hand, ready to slash at him.
Piedmon was already slamming his knee into his stomach, before he slammed the butt of his sword into his head, sending him falling down towards the ground below.
"Hey! Back off clown!" WarGreymon yelled, as he and MetalGarurumon flew at Piedmon.
"Trump Sword!" Piedmon yelled, as he pulled out some swords and threw them at the two Mega Digimon, which hit their mark and sent them both flying to the ground with Beelzemon. And when they all hit the ground, they all turned back to their rookie/human forms.
"Tai!" Kari yelled, as her and Gatomon ran to her brother's side.
"Matt!" TK yelled, as he and Patamon ran to him.
"Naruto/Impmon!" Mimi and Palmon both yelled, as Mimi ran to Naruto's side, while Palmon ran to Impmon's
"Don't worry, I'm fine" Naruto said with a groan
"Yea, don't worry flower child" Impmom said with a groan of his own.
"Fine nothing! You all got curb stomped!" Himawari yelled out.
"Of course they did, my dear. They are all freshly digivolved Mega level Digimon, while me and my fellow Dark Masters are much more experienced. Oh, and speaking of which" Piedmon was saying, as she snapped his fingers.
This caused the coliseum to shake, before the ground burst open revealing MetalSeadramon, Machinedramon, and Puppetmon who joined Pidemon's side.
"Oh great, the whole teams here," Sora said, as she frowned along with the others.
"As fun as this was, I do believe that it's time to wrap this up" Piedmon said, as he and the other Dark Master's stood at the ready
"Wait! If you take us out, you'll never know where the treasure is!" Himawari yelled out.
"What treasure?" Puppetmon asked curiously, as he tilted his head.
"The treasure of Ima Weiner" Himawari said.
"I'm a wiener?" Puppetmon asked curiously
This caused all the kids to snort in laughter at this.
"…..I'm guessing that one is related to the redhead with the Renamon from the last team," Piedmon said with an annoyed tone, as after all of her remarks, he was starting to see a pattern.
"And proud of it!" Himawari said, as she made a peace sign.
"Let's just destroy them already!" Machinedramon yelled out in anger.
"Oh, come on! I didn't get to have any fun at all!" Puppetmon yelled, as he frowned at this.
"Regrettably, I feel that Machinedramon has the right idea. Now, which one should we dispose of first?" Piedmon asked as he looked at them.
"No! I don't want to fight anymore!" Mimi yelled in a panic, as she held Chuumon close.
"Your voice is annoying, so you will do," Piedmon said, as he made a small dagger in his hand, which he threw at Mimi.
Chuumon, seeing this, quickly jumped out of Mimi's arms and into the path of the dagger, taking the hit for Mimi.
"Chuumon!" Mimi yelled, as she caught the mouse Digimon in her arms.
"M-mimi you have to fight. All of you have to fight for our world" Chuumon groaned out, before he closed his eyes and exploded into data.
This caused Mimi to start to cry and everyone else to frown at this.
"Ah, how poetic. Another fool that dies trying to help you" Piedmon said with a cruel smile.
"Hey, that must bring back memories, eh imp boy?" Puppetmon asked, as he looked at Impmon, before laughing.
Impmon growled at this, as he clenched his fists tightly at this.
But before anyone could respond…..
"Pit Bomb!"
What looked like a massive bomb struck the space in between the Dark Masters and the digidestined.
"What the heck?!" MetalSeadramon yelled, as a bunch of dust was kicked up.
"Hey, those brats are gone!" Puppetmon yelled, as he looked around a bit, seeing that the digidestined and their Digimon were gone.
"Where did they go?!" Machinedramon roared as he looked around with a glare.
Piedmon looked around for a few moments, before he narrowed his eyes, as he spotted something.

Meanwhile with the digidestined and their Digimon, they were all inside what looked like a makeshift barrier, which was being held together by Piximon, who was moving it and them away from the area.
"Whew, that was a close one" Joe said as he sighed in relief.
"Yeah, nice save fluffy!" Naruto said with a smile.
"This is Piximon? Huh, I can actually see the hype, if he's nuts enough to pull such a crazy move" Himawari said as she smiled at the pixie Digimon.
"At long last! I finally got a compliment from your family and it's at this moment" Pixiemon said, as he struggled to keep the barrier up.
"What the heck is going on, Piximon?" Matt asked as he looked at their mentor, who had helped them before in the past.
"Yea. You said that if we were all together, then we could beat anyone" Tai said as he frowned.
"That's just part of it, I'm afraid. I don't have a lot of time to explain, but going forward, you lot will have to start getting creative with the enemy" Piximon said as he looked at them.
Suddenly, the barrier they were in started to shake, as they saw the shadows of the Dark Masters outside.
"Ah, they found us!" Gomamon yelled, as he pointed outside as MetalSeadramon fired at them.
"Ok kids, all you need to know is that you need to stick together and try to trust your crests," Piximon said, as he struggled to keep the barrier intact.
"Wait, what are you gonna do?" Naruto asked, as he didn't like how Piximon was talking.
"Heh, sorry kid" Piximon said, before he flew out of the barrier then quickly turned and smacked the barrier with his spear, sending them all flying at a high speed.
"Piximon, no!" Impmon and Naruto yelled together, as they all saw the little Digimon fly at the Dark Masters as they all got smaller, before……
BOOM!!!!
The resulting explosion from the resulting clash made everyone fall to the ground of the barrier.
"P-piximon" Sora said as her eyes widened, as she realized what the little Digimon just did for them.
"OK, that little guy definitely has my respect," Himawari said with a firm tone, as anyone that would throw themselves at opponents they knew they couldn't win against, just so their friends could escape, just so they could have a chance to win another day, was alright in her book.
Naruto and Impmon scowled at this, while Mimi started to cry again, causing Sora and Palmom to go comfort her, as the barrier continued to fly them away from the enemy.
(Sometime later)
A little later, the group had all finally landed in a forest and currently, everyone was making camp, seeing as it was night time.
"What do you think Piximon meant by needing to stick together and try to trust our crests?" Kari asked with a curious look and tone.
"Hmmm. Maybe our crests can help us in some way" Gatomon said, as she rubbed her chin at this.
"Any good information, Izzy?" Tai asked, as he looked at his friend and his Digimon partner, who were sitting nearby.
"Yea. You have been on your laptop since we got here. So you better have something good, brain boy" Himawari said with an annoyed tone, as she looked up from her food.
"I have been looking over information on Bio-Merging, as I was curious why it had to be activated the first time by throwing arrows at the partners in question. But it wasn't needed to fight Piedmon" Izzy said, as he typed away on his laptop.
"Oh yea. I was curious about that too" Matt said, as he looked up from his own food.
"It's because we were in the Human World," Izzy said, as he looked up from his laptop.
"Come again?" Joe asked with a cocked eyebrow.
"Bio-Merging requires a lot of energy. To be more specific; digital energy" Izzy said firmly, as he looked up at the sky of the digital world.
"So what, since we're in the Digital World, we've become like data?" Naruto asked curiously.
"More like the massive amount of digital energy here makes it easier to pull off Bio-Merging, while in the digital world" Sora said, as she started to understand.
"Exactly! The reason we needed to use those arrows was because they were made from digital energy from crests, which gave you three just enough energy to pull off a Bio-Merge" Izzy said with a grin, as he looked at Naruto, Tai and Matt.
"Okay. So how do the rest of us Bio-Merge with our partners, Brainiac?" Himawari asked.
"Think about it, sis. Piximon said to trust our crests" Naruto said as he smiled.
"Oh yea. Before me and you Bio-Merged, your crest was glowing real bright" Impmon said with a nod.
"So what, we have to have really intense feelings that represent our crests?" Mimi asked, as she looked at her crest curiously.
"Well, it's better than nothing, I guess. Good job Izzy" Tai said with a smile.
"For now, we should rest and try to think of some strategies to fight back against the Dark Masters izzy said as he went back to his laptop to look over some more information
Everyone nodded at this, as they all went back to sleep, as Izzy had first watch for the night.
(The next morning)
It was morning and Naruto was already up, seeing as he was the last one on watch. As he waited for the others to wake up, he heard some movement in the camp and when he looked, he saw that Mimi was up.
"Morning" Mimi said, as she rubbed her eyes.
"Morning" Naruto said as he nodded at her, before he groaned a bit as he was tired.
Mimi noticed this and frowned a bit, seeing the bags under his eyes. "How long did you stand watch?" she asked.
"Oh, just a few hours," Naruto said as she shrugged.
"We agreed to switch every hour. Who were you supposed to switch with?" Mimi asked, as she frowned and looked at the others, who were still sleeping.
"Um……you" Naruto said, as he rubbed the back of his head sheepishly.
"And why didn't you?" Mimi asked with a scowl, placing her hands on her hips.
"Well, you were the most affected by what happened to Chuumon and Piximon. So I figured that you deserved more rest" Naruto said.
Mimi's eyes widened at this, before she looked down at the ground, blushing slightly.
"Um, I'm gonna go wake the others" Mimi said, before walking away after composing herself.
"Y-yea" Naruto said, as he nodded at this.
"Oh, would the two of you just kiss already?! All of this dancin' around each other is making me gag!" Himawari said with a groan, announcing her presence behind her brother.
"Gah! Don't do that! I should place a bell on you" Naruto said, as he jumped slightly, before he looked at his little sister with a scowl.
"Don't change the subject. Why didn't you make the cheerleader do her part as watch?" Himawari asked with a curious look.
"Cause she needed the rest. She's not like the rest of us" Naruto said firmly.
"Uh huh, sure. And you're a sap" Himawari said with a flat look on her face.
"Girl makes a good point," Impmon said, as he dropped down from a tree branch.
"Indeed" Labramon said, as she stepped round the same tree.
"Gah! Stop doing that!" Naruto yelled, as he jumped in surprise.
"Have you two figured out where we are?" Himawari asked curiously, as she looked at her partner.
"Yea, we are near a beach. So I'm gonna assume that we're in the metal sushi's territory" Impmon said, as he looked at Naruto.
"Oh, great. Just what we need" Tai said, as he approached to check on what was going on.
"Oh, and a minion of his, a Scorpiomon, is on his way to search the forest" Labramon said nonchalantly.
"...you didn't think to lead with that?!" Joe yelled after a few minutes of silence.
"OK everyone, let's move! We need to make a plan for this guy before he shows up" Matt yelled to everyone, who quickly scrambled.
"Izzy, what info do you have on this Scorpiomon?" Sora asked.
Izzy opened up his laptop and began searching, before he turned the laptop around, showing what looked like an ancient fossil. "Scorpiomon is an Ultimate Level Digimon. A computer virus that had infected the databases of a laboratory, where all of the investigations and excavations of ancient life forms are performed, took in the data of an ancient life form and evolved" he said, as he turned the laptop back to face him.
"Are there any weaknesses that we can take advantage of?" Naruto asked, as he looked over Izzy's shoulder at the laptop, to take a look at the image of the scorpion Digimon.
"Hmmmm. Well, he seems to have a weakness to nature attacks" Izzy said.
Everyone looked at Mimi and Palmom at this.
"….we're doomed" Himawari said with a groan.
"We don't have anyone else, bestie," Kari said.
"Yea, but we need to end this quickly, otherwise the metal snake will show up and we will end up in trouble. Not exactly a good idea to leave this to the coward" Himawari said with a scowl.
"Hey!" Mimi said, as she looked at the youngest Uzumaki with a glare.
"That's enough sis," Naruto said with a firm tone.
"What? A few friends die, and she's ready to roll over and die with them, instead of fighting, so that no more of our friends die. It kinda sounds like a coward to me" Himawari said with a scoff.
"OK, I think you're done," Sora said, as she pushed Himawari away from Mimi, who went silent at this.
"Okay, then we split into teams," Joe said, as he looked at Matt.
"Yea. If we set a trap for him, we may be able to finish him quickly and get out of here, before MetalSeadramon shows up" Matt said as he nodded at this.
As everyone walked over to the fire pit and talked, Naruto noticed that Mimi was sitting alone with Palmon.
"Are you doing OK?" Naruto asked, as he approached her.
"Oh…..yes Naruto, I'm ok" Mimi said as she frowned.
Palmon frowned at this, before she gave Naruto a look of annoyance, causing him to frown.
"Um….look, I'm sorry about what Himawari said. She's always had a big mouth" Naruto said, as he looked at the ground.
"Hey! I heard that!" Himawari yelled from the fire pit.
"Good, cause you were meant to, you maniac!" Naruto yelled back.
Himawari's response was to attempt to make an obscene gesture with her hand, before Sora grabbed her arm, stopping her.
"Look, just know that nobody else doesn't think you're a coward," Naruto said, as he ignored this and looked at Mimi.
"You don't?" Mimi asked, as she looked at Naruto.
"No, you just don't want anyone else to get hurt and I understand that," Naruto said.
"You do?" Mimi asked, her eyes widening at this, as she didn't think anyone but Palmon understood this about her.
"Of course. But I just hope you understand that if you don't fight, that more of our friends will die. And while that is a lot of pressure, you don't have to fight alone. So don't be afraid to tell us how you feel," Naruto said, as smiled at Mimi in a comforting way.
Mimi smiled back at this, as her crest began to glow brightly.
But before she could respond, the ground below Naruto suddenly burst open, and what looked like a scorpion's tail grabbed Naruto and lifted him into the air.
"Alright! I got one of the digidestined! Master will give me a bunch of clams for you!" Scorpiomon yelled happily, as he held Naruto in the air.
"Hey! Let my big brother go, or I'll crack your shell open and feed the meat inside to my partner!" Himawari yelled in a rage, as she pointed at Labramon.
This caused Joe, Izzy, Gomamon and Tentomon's faces to turn green at the visual of this.
"Stay where you are! I am not above hurting him, if you all try anything!" Scorpiomon yelled, as he held Naruto up with his tail.
The others all scowled at this, but did nothing, as they knew they shouldn't risk Naruto's life.
"Hey! Let him go, you pathetic sea urchin!" Mimi yelled, as she stepped forward with Palmon.
"Mimi, stop!" Sora yelled, as she tried to step forward to stop her friend, but Tai grabbed her from behind.
"Yea, he's not weak to crying!" Himawari yelled at Mimi with an annoyed look.
Mimi looked at Himawari with an annoyed look of her own at this. "Just zip it and let me and Palmon handle this!" she yelled at the youngest Uzumaki.
This got surprised looks from the group, as they didn't expect Mimi of all of them to yell at Himawari.
"Are you with me, Palmon?" Mimi asked as she looked at her partner, as her crest glowed brightly, along with her Digivice.
"Yea, I'm with you Mimi!" Palmon said with a smile, as she felt a lot of energy filling her.
["Bio-Merge Activate"] Mim's Digivice said.
"Palmon Bio-Merge to..." Palmon and Mimi stood together, the Digidestined bare, as they cradled within a large pink bud.
A woman coated in pink light emerged, as the bud sprouted, while red rose petals flew around her. She slipped her hands into a pair of rose red gloves and her feet into matching boots, as a long red cape sprouted from her back. A rose bud formed a helmet, covering the top of her head with a trail of red light coating her lips. She pulled a whip from around her hips and spun it around herself.
"Rosemon!"
Everyone looked up at the new Digimon, as it hovered above them, as what looked like rose petals filled the air.
"Wow. Mimi and Palmon actually Bio-Merged" Agumon said as he looked up at Rosemon in awe.
"Wow, so pretty," Kari said, as she looked up at the new Digimon with a smile.
Izzy quickly took out his laptop and after a few moments, he pulled up the new Digimon's profile. "Rosemon, Mega Level Fairy Digimon. She has the appearance of a rose, which makes her queen of the flowers, who desires to be beautiful forever" he said.
Impmon looked up at the new Digimon and gained a blush on his face, before he started to sweat a bit.
Naruto looked at the new Digimon and smiled at this. "Heh, you still feeling confident, clam boy?" he asked Scorpiomon.
"S-shut up!" Scorpiomon yelled, as Rosemon hovered towards him.
"Only warning Scorpiomon, let him go or I'll be forced to make you" Rosemon said with Mimi and Palmon's voices, as she took out what looked like a thorn, and cracked it like a whip.
"I'm not gonna be bullied by -" Scorpiomon was saying, before he was cut off.
"Rose Spear!" Rosemon yelled, as her whip turned into rapier before she thrusted forward and slashed Scorpiomon's tail.
"Gah!" the shell Digimon yelled, as he dropped Naruto, who fell to the ground.
"Thorn Whipping!" Rosemon yelled, as she grabbed her whip and charged it with electricity, before she swung it at Scorpiomon, wrapping it around him, before engulfing him with electricity.
"Gaaaaaaahhhhhh!!!!!" Scorpiomon started to yell, before he fell to the ground, charred black.
Rosemon pulled her whip back and cracked it, before putting it away.
Everyone cheered at this, as they ran towards Rosemon, who floated down to the ground.
"Nice one Mimi!" Sora yelled, as she smiled up at her friend.
"Not that the cheerleader stepping up isn't great, but him yelling like that probably got Nessie's ugly cousin's attention," Himawari said.
"Right! Let's get out of here!" Rosemon said, as she flew over and grabbed Naruto and Impmon, before flying off.
"Hey, wait for us!" Tai yelled, as the rest of the team ran after them, leaving the defeated Scorpiomon behind.
