There are some things you just get sick of through repeated exposure. Things that make you pinch the bridge of your nose in frustration before rubbing your temples in irritation. You know, things like biting your tongue while talking. Stubbing your toe. Hitting your head on the cabinets.
Then there are more intense discomforts, like chipping your nails, or falling face first off your skateboard without a helmet. They hurt. They make you want to shout out at how unfair things are.
Then, after that, to the much higher degree, there are things so wretched, so degenerate, so infuriating, that billions must die to make up for the injustice that you have gone through.
For Karson Shatunov, one of those were japan existing. Racist? Very much so. Illogical? Sure. Immoral? Absolutely. However, such trivial matters meant very little to him. He was beyond caring about the criticism of any jap rats or their sympathizers.
"How did this hatred come to be?" you might ask. Surely there was some traumatic incident that set it off, some horrific damage dealt to make one be so vitriolic?
If you asked him, it was because he read too much manga and dealt with too many weebs online, that something within him snapped. Something within him broke, never to be returned to how it was ever again.
After the 590th shitty isekai that glorified japan and shat on what was essentially a loser jap author's idea of what a proto medieval European fantasy world would be, he said "No more of this dogshit".
Being the descendant of a German Father and and Russian Mother, he had always felt a bond to Europe as a whole, but mostly Germany and Russia. As such, when the constant demeaning by some shitty author from some trashy island nation that got flattened in WW2 had run his mouth and wrote yet another shitty isekai, things came to a halt. Sure, the world wasn't actually Europe, Russia, or Germany, but it portrayed the message all the same, even if he was projecting somewhat.
He had recently had the displeasure of reading the first novel of the gate jsdf series. A laughable attempt by a braindead jap to glorify their pathetic jsdf that only exists because of foreign aid.
If it was up to him, he would have handed japan to China decades ago.
The gears in his head ground to a halt.
A simmering hatred began to grow in his heart, a vicious rage boiled past it's breaking point.
"japan must die" He grit through his teeth.
"japan must die" He said louder. It felt good putting his thoughts to words.
"japan must die!" He shouted, his voice traveling through his 5 room apartment in Yekaterinburg.
Then, something happened that he did not expect. Something he smiled at as soon as he saw. Something that made his heart race.
A blue box appeared in the air in front of him as he stood up from his desk. It was semi transparent and looked much like those from the various Manwha/manga he had forced himself to consume.
[I'll give you a chance to destroy Japan] it said, quietly floating in front of him.
Not even questioning it, he replied to the mysterious box.
"I'll do it. What do you need me to do?" He asked, a insane glint in his eyes.
[Very good. I will keep things simple. I am a wandering God from beyond the stars and have found humanity amusing. As such, I have been granting the wishes of various outcasts and dissenters that don't fit into the modern paradigm. As such, I chose you for some amusement] It continued.
Karson nodded after reading the box, if it meant destroying japan, he would be a dancing dog for this being for all he cared.
[Good, now let me keep things simple and concise. I will be reincarnating you into the GATE JSDF world six years before the first novel with a 'System' as it's referred to in the various novels and stories you have read. Essentially, you will have the chance to acquire all the abilities of every class in D&D and as your level improves, you will be able to summon various monsters and items from D&D. If I remember correctly, you played the game a lot when you were younger. I want to give you a fighting chance, but not make it too overwhelming. It's no fun when they get science fiction machines and ships that can tear chunks out of the planet]
"I'm more than fine with that. Send me over!"
[You'll find out more when you arrive. Oh, and you will be in the body of someone from that world. Good luck. I will be watching you closely]
Then, everything went white.
This was his chance to enact his plans that had been ruminating in his head ever since reading GATE. He would not waste it
An: Yes this is a SIOC. Yes I intentionally did not capitalize Japan and the JSDF. This was explicitly done to emphasize how much the MC hates Japan. He is that petty. However, I will be capitalizing Japan in instances outside of his point of view. If this is confusing or irritating, well that sucks I guess.
Also, obviously this OC is a caricature, his beliefs are enhanced and magnified for the sake of entertainment.
