Into the Dungeon

We've now entered the dungeon.

Left the tavern, not so tame.

Shadows long upon the walls,

Cast by dancing flame.

...

We sought out other heroes,

But from this task they all refrained.

Thornwood's 'heroes' lack endurance,

To withstand labyrinth of pain.

...

We struggle with the monsters.

All three play Dark Sol's game.

Let loose our inner demons,

We hack, we burn, we maim.

...

Milo's strong with morning star,

Pyra has good aim.

Another battle lost and won,

Loot from monsters claimed.

...

Hobble back to surface,

My limp has made me lame.

Gold and iron changes hands,

Cries of "long may King Drake reign!"

...

Some are less aligned to Thornwood,

For misfortune, king they blame.

Question Princess Jessa,

To the throne does she have claim?

...

Some of us have prayed to gods,

But to our side they never came.

So back into the dungeon.

To loot, to slay, to maim.
