At the McDuck Mall; Axel and Ryan were at the food court sitting at a booth table.
The two were laughing.
"So I caught a bunch of dead squirrels for my team, but I got voted off for being to bossy." said Axel.
The two laughed some more.
They didn't notice that Sonic and Ripper who each had milkshakes were nearby spying on the two.
"I don't trust the new guy, do you?" said Sonic.
Ripper shook his head no.
"I don't Sonic, he just appeared and defeated Swiss Army, that's odd and I've seen some heroes and villains team up on TV." He said.
"If this really was anyone's first time against a guy as dangerous and unpredictable as Swiss Army, there would have been trouble." said Sonic.
Ripper took a sip out of his milkshake.
"We should keep a sharp eye out on him." said Ripper.
Sonic nodded.
"I agree." said Sonic.
He then became concerned.
"But would Axel be mad we are spying on her?" He asked.
"Maybe." said Ripper.
He then realized what Sonic said.
"But how do we keep Axel from thinking we're spying on her?" Said Ripper.
Sonic smirked.
"Don't worry, I've got the solution." Said Sonic.
He pulled out his phone and tapped an icon on it before putting the phone to his ear.
"Hey Meek, can you do me a favor?" Said Sonic.
Mumbling sounds were heard.
"I need you to dig up some dirt on someone for me and Ripper." Said Sonic.
Mumbling sounds are heard again.
Sonic then turned on the phones camera and took a picture of Ryan and sent the photo to Meek.
"There, sent." Said Sonic.
He ended the call.
"So what now until we get results back?" Said Ripper.
Sonic pulled out two McDonald's Apple Pies and gave one to Ripper.
The teen was nervous.
"I don't know, I heard that these things were very hot back in the nineties." Said Ripper.
"I'm sure they're fine. It's not like the hot coffee deal from McDonald's." Said Sonic.
He and Ripper took a bite from their respective apple pies.
The two screamed in pain.
"OH, OH, IT BURNS, IT BURNS!" yelled Sonic.
"FUCK THAT'S HOT!" yelled Ripper.
"Maybe it cooled down?" asked Sonic.
He took a bite out his apple pie but screamed in pain.
"NO, NO, IT'S STILL HOT!" yelled Sonic.
He tossed his apple pie far away.
At another table in the food court; Total Drama contestants Priya and Caleb were having a romantic lunch date when the apple pie landed in a garbage can close to the two before the contents of the can caught on fire, shocking the two.
"SORRY!" yelled Sonic's voice.
Interview Gag
First was an annoyed Caleb.
"First date with Priya after the Total Drama reboot's second season, and a trashcan catches on fire. This can't get any worse." said Caleb.
Next was an equally annoyed Priya.
"This is why you never have a first date in the food court of a mall." said Priya.
Next was Sonic who had drank 14 bottles of water before drinking another bottle of water.
"Nope, I can still taste how much it burns." said Sonic.
Lastly was Ripper.
"That was so cool. Seeing some hot food actually setting something on fire." said Ripper.
End Interview Gag
A chiming sound was heard and Sonic looked at a text from Meek and he picked up the phone and looked at the contents with Ripper.
"Well, this Ryan person's story checks out. Apparently he was in the same survival training camp as Axel." said Sonic.
Ripper nodded.
"I guess." He said.
"But this is something that has my attention." Sonic said before tapping on a photo to reveal a list and that Ryan was next to the number 24, "He wasn't exactly at the top of his survival camp class."
"Then who was?" Said Ripper.
Sonic scrolled the picture up, revealing that Axel was at number one.
"Makes sense." Said Ripper.
Sonic noticed something else.
"Interesting." Said Sonic.
"What?" Said Ripper.
"Apparently he was born in a mental health hospital due to both his parents needing lots of therapy, and he was conceived on the exact day those two met." Said Sonic.
Ripper became shocked.
"What the hell kind of mental institution allows for stuff like that?" Said Ripper.
"After he was born, he was taken to be raised by grandparents who were living in a trailer park just outside of Nova Scotia." Said Sonic.
"We should go there." spoke Ripper.
"Why?" asked Sonic.
"We might find answers." Said Ripper.
