Outside the Toon City hospital; a bus stopped in front of the building before driving away, revealing that Sonic and Ripper were in front of the building.
"You could have ran all the way over here instead of having us take a bus as soon as we arrived in Toon City." said Ripper.
Sonic groaned and pushed his hips in as a cracking sound was heard.
"I almost got a spinal condition from lugging you across the Canadian boarder two times today." said Sonic.
Ripper nodded.
"Fair enough." said Ripper.
Axel then appeared and saw Ripper.
"Hey, I've been looking all over for you, where were you?" said Axel.
Ripper looked at his girlfriend.
"Putting an all you can eat restaurant out of business." said Ripper.
"With my help no less." said Sonic.
Axel shook her head as Rhinor back as Ryan appeared panting.
"Whew, who'd have thought that a run from one side of this city to another would be exhausting." said Ryan.
"Me, I do that every day." said Sonic.
Axel chuckled and patted Ryan on the back.
"That's Ryan for you, always working out." said Axel.
Ripper groaned in annoyance.
"Of course, this is why-"Ripper said before looking down and became confused, "Uh Ryan, are you okay?"
"Sure I am, why wouldn't I be?" said Ryan.
Ripper pointed down to the ground to reveal that there was blood dripping from Ryan's pant leg where Roger stabbed him as Rhinor at.
Ryan was shocked and he realized what happened and gulped.
"Ooooh, that. I might have had an old wound that always bleeds out. I do believe that the doctor who tended to me didn't do such a good stitching job." said Ryan.
Sonic and Ripper just stared at him.
"Okay, I'll buy that. Now if you'll excuse me, I've got to check on a friend of mine." said Sonic.
He pulled out a napkin before swiftly getting some of Ryan's blood on the ground on it before hiding it and walked into the hospital.
Ryan started to walk towards the hospital before being stopped by Ripper.
"Only those who are close with the person we're visiting are permitted to see him." said Ripper.
Axel sighed and looked at Ryan.
"Sorry Ryan, you know how it is." said Axel.
"I totally understand." said Ryan.
Axel and Ripper walked into the hospital and Ryan punched a wall.
"Damn, cant double check to be sure." said Ryan.
He stomped off.
Meanwhile in a hospital room; an unconsious Steve was lying in bed as a very worried Katya, Roger, Hailey, and Scott were by his side as Sonic, Ripper, and Axel appeared.
"How is he?" said Sonic.
"We don't know yet. He took quite a hit to the chest." said Scott, "Fortunatley we got him here in time to put him on life support."
Katya looked at Roger and Scott.
"Any ideas on who did it?" said Katya.
"All I know is that it was some rhino monster who was nearby and ran off from the scene. I tried to apprehend him, but he got away. Fortunatley I got a blood sample that's being analyzed by my cousin after stabbing him in the leg." said Roger.
Sonic and Ripper became confused and looked at each other.
"Stabbed in the leg?" said Ripper.
"If there's a rhino monster who might have something to do with these two situations, then we'd better let Roger and Scott know about this." said Sonic.
Ripper nodded.
"Maybe later." said Ripper.
"Will he be okay?" said Axel.
"I hope so, witches can be tougher then humans." said Roger.
"Well he was part of the Emperor's Coven. So he might pull through. After all, he is a very stubborn witch." said Katya.
Steve groaned and everyone looked at him as he opened his eyes.
The one horned witch looked around.
"Who you calling stubborn witch?" Steve said weakly.
His fiancé smiled and cried.
Everyone else sighed in relief.
"Thank goodness for that." said Hailey.
"Steve." Katya said while hugging Steve, "I'm so glad my fiancé is okay."
Steve smiled.
"Same here." said Steve.
Sonic walked over to Roger and tapped his shoulder.
The meerkat turned to the hedgehog.
"Can Ripper and I speak you to and Scott in private?" said Sonic.
Roger was confused before taking Scott with him as Sonic and Ripper left the room and entered a bathroom.
Sonic looked around the room before nodding and Ripper locked the door.
"Alright, now what's this we hear about you stabbing a rhino monster in the leg?" said Ripper.
"Yeah, I almost got the assailant, but he got away. Why?" said Roger.
"Well apparently we just had a chat with someone who supposedly had a leg injury possibly matching what you just said." said Sonic.
"And I think its Ryan!" he said.
Roger and Scott were both confused.
"Yeah, we have no idea who that is." said Scott.
Sonic glared at Ripper.
"I told you we should have started with the full story about our whole thing." said Sonic.
Ripper nodded and turned back to the others.
"Right, here's what happened." said Ripper.
Five minutes later; the whole story had come out.
"And then we got the word about Steve being shot and came over here only to discover that Ryan might have a leg injury from when you were fighting a monster." said Ripper.
Roger and Scott were both in shock eating a tub of popcorn.
"Wow, that is something." said Roger.
"Especially the part where you two went to a drug house in Canada and escaped arrest." said Scott.
"Oddly enough, if we had gotten arrested in Canada, we would have only gotten a small fraction of what you'd have gotten in this country." said Sonic.
"So you think there's a connection between Axel's friend and this rhino I fought, huh?" said Roger.
Ripper nodded.
"Yep, could be a coincidence, but I just want to be sure." said Ripper.
"That, that just sounds very unbelieveable." said Scott.
"Scott, you're talking with two humanoid animals from another planet right now." said Sonic.
"You make a good point." Said Scott.
Roger's phone started ringing and the meerkat pulled it out before swiping the call icon and put it to his ear.
"Hello?" Said Roger.
Roger became shocked.
"Okay then, I'll be right over." Roger said before hanging up his phone, "We'd better get to the Bounty Cave, my cousin just finished analyzing that blood sample I got from the rhino monster and found something very interesting within."
Ripper and Sonic became confused.
"What did he find?" Said Ripper.
"Only one way to find out." Said Roger.
Meanwhile with Ryan; he was walking down a sidewalk in downtown Toon City alone before being pulled into an alleyway and pinned to a wall by a very angry Swiss Army whose left hand was shaped like a knife and held to the human's throat.
"YOU FAILED ME!" yelled Swiss Army.
Ryan gulped.
"No, I didn't fail, Steve has been dealt with." Said Ryan.
Swiss Army held a phone up, revealing a Penstagram picture of Steve giving two thumbs up in the same hospital room as Katya had her arms around his neck.
Ryan is now pissed.
"You'd better have a good explenation for this debacle." said Swiss Army.
"He seemed dead when I shot him." said Ryan.
"But clearly he wasn't since he pulled through in the hospital." said Swiss Army.
"I can finish the job boss, I can." said Ryan.
Swiss Army tossed the teen into another wall before the knife hand turned into a regular hand and he turned his right hand into a medival sword and lodged it in the wall close to Ryan.
"Oh, I know you will finish the job, because I'm going to have to tag along with you to make sure that the job is finished." said Swiss Army.
He turned his sword back into a hand.
"If you fail this time, I'm ending your life as well and sending you to a taxidermist." said Swiss Army.
Ryan gulped nervously.
