During the night of when Yuno had to deliver a letter, a drunk man attacks him for his amulet, but when Asta came out to stop the drunk man, something in Yuno snapped as he felt a power that felt like it laid dormant come out to save Asta from him. Follow Yuno and Asta's journey of their road to become the Wizard King, as both of them realize their full potential of their powers.

Guest: Thanks! I hope I do well in the Dungeon arc of this fic as there are going to be 4 Chapters long, so this was just part 1 and now, part 2 will be shown! Yep, kind of disappointed that we haven't seen him ever, not even when Zenon attacked. Well, it would be a good idea that it was him, since the two did get powerful helpful things to their Grimoire and power. Well, his Magic Attribute will be shown this chapter. The Noelle one is risky, but I think I can pull it off well. Thanks and will do!

Luck Voltia was running as fast as he possibly could as he felt a powerful mana presence in the Dungeon, as well as several others, but this one… this one was the fastest one to get to as he could dream of. The fight of someone powerful is the one that he always wanted and now, he could do it right here and now! It was his thirst, the thing that he craves, he needs.

Battle. A powerful battle, he needs to experience it as it is one of the most important things to him, especially since it was one of the few things that his mother…

He shook his head as he had to have a clear mind to find this man, this powerful mage faster than he could go, as he wanted to fight this man. And the best part? It wasn't that he wasn't alone, which was still a massive plus, but the fact he was the enemy, so that means he could go all out!

He grinned ear to ear as while he still grins during battle, the more he is in the hunt for a fight, the more that he needs to fight and the scarier he becomes as he can just imagine the powerful fight, the powerful destruction he can make in a battle, as this will be the most fun he could get in days!

Even with equipping his Lightning Creation Magic: Holy Lightning Boots, he wasn't going as fast as he wanted to, as he was going at the speed of an actual lightning bolt, as he was speeding through everywhere he could. He couldn't really use his Lightning Magic: Flash Step since he didn't get a target, so this is the best that he could work with.

"Fight, fight, fight! I am getting close to an actual match! Oh I can't wait!" he thought to himself as he turned left and then right as then he stopped where he was going, as he could feel the man being closer and closer the more he ran. His grin can't escape him as it was a part of him.

Even in dire situations, he can only grin. Not that he was scared or anything, but he was just so excited about his battles. It was the name why he was nicknamed The Cheery Berserker when he was young, and he means it. He was like an enemy troop if it weren't for the fact that he was a member of the Black Bulls.

Then, Luck finally reached the destination he wanted to be in, all alone, filled with a couple of people that he can beat the everlasting crap out of as they were weak compared to the man he needed to fight.

"Lotus! Sir! An enemy is right beside us! What shall we do!?" yelled one of the men in robes as Luck turned his attention to the man that was sitting down, rubbing his goatee with interest.

"Hmm? Really, so soon? How interesting." he said with a smile on his face as he turned his attention towards Luck, who was grinning, "Hiya there, kiddo! Nice to meet you. My name is Lotus Whomalt of the Diamond Kingdom, and I just wanted to say that-"

"No more speaking! Fight now!" yelled Luck as he yelled out, "Lightning Magic: Flash Step!" he yelled as though he made out of lightning itself, he disappeared in a flash as all of them widened their eyes, but Lotus narrowed his eyes, not stopping smiling or rubbing his goatee.

Luck then appeared in front of Lotus as he was ready to deliver a strong and powerful roundhouse kick, but one of the Diamond Mages yelled out, "Amber Magic: Mammoth Tackle!" he yelled out as Luck turned around to see a massive Amber coming towards him that was the shape of a mammoth as he jumped upwards.

"Ah, a feisty fellow? Gotta admit, you are different from other kids, won't you guys agree?" asked Lotus as Luck looked at everyone around him when he said that, "Still though, I suggest you leaving this Dungeon for us. I don't want to harm a kid, especially since I already have 3 of my own!"

Luck laughed at that as he looked at all of Lotus' men, "Why?! Are you afraid of harming me?! Please, I want that! I want to fight all of you suckers! Including you old man!" he pointed towards Lotus who was insulted by that.

"Hey, I am only 36!" yelled Lotus. "Is this how Fanzell felt?" he thought to himself about his old buddy from work that defected from The Diamond Kingdom and he didn't blame him.

"I don't care! I don't care if I have to fight an old man, someone my age, a baby, anything that can give me a good fight is catching these hands!" yelled Luck as Lotus sighed as he opened his Grimoire, revealing a Diamond on it.

"You left me with no choice. Men, defeat him." he said as the mages nodded.

"Right." they said as Luck yelled out.

"Fine! I love me a good group versus 1! All of you are going to get your asses handed to you! Lightning Creation Magic: Holy Lightning Gloves!" As then, around his hands appeared lightning in the shape of gloves that looked like that of a demon, fitting for him honestly as Luck charged at all of them as the entire room was filled with smoke.

With Yuno, Klaus and Mimosa

Yuno began walking down as Mimosa and Klaus joined him as Asta and Noelle continued to stare at them, with Noelle looking at him in shock as Asta looking at his rival with a grin, the same can be said for Yuno.

"Asta." Yuno said.

"Yuno." Asta said as they continued to stare at each other as they are waiting for someone to start speaking. When the boy with no magic opened his mou-

"AHHHHHHH! NERO THE HECK!? WHY ARE YOU PECKING ME AGAIN?!" yelled Asta in shock as Yuno looked at his rival in worry as an anti-bird flew towards him and began to peck the life out of him.

"Asta, why is there an anti-bird here and is pecking the life out of you?" asked Yuno in worry for his rival as after about 12 seconds, the bird, now known as Nero, stopped pecking him and flew at the top of his head.

"Well, long story short, after my first mission, this little guy or girl, I don't know the gender, flew towards me and sat on my head after giving me a rock. Charmy tried to eat her, but we decided to keep her as The Black Bulls' masco-" Nero pecked him for a few seconds, "We kept her and Luck named her Nero after the colour Black."

"Ah, I see." he said as Yuno looked at Nero and then back to Asta. "Well, as long as you feed it, I think it will be fine… kinda weird that you would get a pet first."

"Yeah, honestly, I would've seen you adopt an animal, like a cat since it fits you, sooner than me, so HAH BEAT YOU, YUNO!" yelled Asta as Yuno twitched his nose.

"Shit, he beat me at that." Klaus and Mimosa were in surprise, as well as Noelle, as this was the first time they saw either of them act like this familiar with each other as like they have grown up with each other for so long.

"Yuno, why did you decide to save these two hooligans? We are in the middle of a mission, and we have to get to the treasure hall as fast as possible. We have no time for that." said Klaus as he walked up to his junior as Yuno sighed at him.

Before Yuno could open up his mouth to say something about him, Asta stepped forward, "Hey, who are you talking smack, Four-Eyes!" yelled Asta as while he didn't use that name towards Midori or Magna, he would use it to anyone that was disrespectful to him.

"Four-Eyes?! Who do you think you are talking to?! I am Klaus Lunettes! A member of the Great Golden Dawn!" yelled Klaus as Asta turned to him.

"Geez, what died in your butt to act like that?" asked Asta as Yuno suppressed a laugh at that, "How can you be near that guy?"

"Eh, the same way I have been living in the same roof as you for 15 years," shot back Yuno as Asta felt that immensely, "He is decent, I suppose, just a bit much honestly." Yuno said.

"That's right, but anyways… IN MY BUTT?! HOW DARE YOU SHORT LITTLE GREMLIN LOOKING MOTHERFU…"

As the argument between Klaus and Asta continued, Mimosa walked up to her cousin, Noelle Silva, "My, my, Noelle, is that you? You have grown so much the last time we have seen each other! When was the last time we have seen each other? Was it the last year's banquet?" Mimosa placed a hand on her chin.

Noelle twitched her nose as she sighed; "Yeah, it was the last years alright." she said.

Yuno turned to them with a raised brow. "You know her?"

"Yeah! She and I are cousins! In fact, both the Vermillion and Silva families are my family!" said Mimosa as Yuno nodded as she turned to Noelle, "So anyways, you have joined the Black Bulls, yes? If that is true, I heard that they are quite special. Are they treating you alright?" she asked.

"They do if you ignore the loud reading from Midori, Vanessa being drunk, Finral flirting, Magna and Luck fighting, Gordon and Grey being weird, Gauche thinking of his sister, Charmy eating a mountain of food every day, this gremlin yelling and the constant threats of my Captain on the daily, then yes." she said.

"Oh they sound like a lively bunch!"

"You don't know the half of it. Anyways, what about you? Are they sad that you didn't join The Crimson Lion Kings?" Noelle asked.

"Oh no! My family was actually supportive and happy of my decision!" Noelle felt the unintentional jab on her stomach from Mimosa, "My squad is nice as well, not to mention, I can train my magic well- Oh wait, sorry, you still can't train your magic well, can you?" she asked.

"I have been training." "Mimosa is the same. Rude as ever." thought to herself Noelle.

After a few minutes of Klaus and Asta throwing insults at each other, they were in a surprise to hear that both of them got a star from their missions, which resulted in a tie, which frustrated Yuno and Asta to death.

"Wait a minute… Where is your third member? Oh who am I kidding, he probably died from The Trap Magic, didn't he? Or did he leave you two?" asked Klaus as Noelle and Asta sweatdropped.

"Well… he isn't half wrong." they both thought at the same time. Asta then looked at him, "Well, it doesn't matter about that! Because, this mission was given to us by the Wizard King!"

"Liar! There is no way that someone like you with… low mana could ever been recommended by the Wizard King! Bah, the Black Bulls are filled with disgraces!" yelled Klaus as Yuno was close to smacking him to the face.

"I HAVE BEEN RECOMMENDED! Anyways, at least we aren't part of the… uh… The Loser Da… no… The Golden Darn… no," Yuno was actually in surprise to see how hard his rival was thinking of a comeback, "The one with the weird mask!"

"EXCUSE ME?! AT LEAST OUR CAPTAIN DOESN'T SMOKE LIKE CHIMNEY!" roared Klaus so hard that the 4 Diamond Mages heard it from different places.

"At least our Captain doesn't use make up!"

"At least our Captain doesn't spend his time taking a shit!"

"At least our Captain doesn't look like a bird! No offense, Nero."

"At least our Captain doesn't try to kill his subordinates on the daily!"

"At least our Captain doesn't need a helmet to walk around!"

"At least our Cap-"

"Klaus, this is getting us nowhere. We are in a mission." said Yuno as Mimosa and Noelle nodded to that as it was getting a bit stale at this point, even Nero, the bird, nodded to that. As both Klaus and Asta walked away from their heated battle.

"Right," Klaus fixed his glasses, "We have a mission, and I almost spent it on arguing against the goblin with little mana."

"HEY!" he yelled.

"That's right, you did, and we have to go on the mission, but I have an idea…" Yuno turned to his rival, "How about a race?" he asked as the magicless boy raised an eyebrow at that.

"What kind?" Asta was interested to say the least.

"We race each other to see who can reach the treasure hall first. The only things that we can get is boasting rights," said Yuno as Asta grinned.

"You are on! Let's go, Noelle! We are going to show him!" yelled Asta as he grabbed Noelle as the Water Mage was in shock.

"Wait, but what about Luck?! We still haven't gotten to him!" yelled Noelle as he stopped.

"Oh yeah, almost forgot about him… ALRIGHT! First we go find Luck in a quick pace then we get to the treasure hall!" he yelled as he began to run away from them.

"The race has begun." said Yuno as Klaus sighed.

"I can't believe we are doing this."

"Hey, it is better than nothing, I suppose." Mimosa said that to Klaus.

"Well, let's get going. Mimosa, if you may," Yuno turned to the Plant Mage as the Vermillion girl nodded with a smile on her face.

"Right! Plant Creation Magic: Magic Flower Guidepost!" Mimosa yelled as then a massive plant appeared beside the three Magic Knights, as it was a pink flower that opened up to reveal a holographic map of the Dungeon. Mimosa began to look at it with interest in mind as they looked at her for directions, as then Mimosa nodded. "Right, we have to go right, and then we have to move a little bit more." said Mimosa as they nodded.

"Right, well, let-"

"Wait, allow me to try this out." said Yuno as he pulled out his Grimoire and he yelled, "Wind Creation Magic: Celestial Wind Ark!" as then 3 sets of whirlwinds appeared around the Golden Dawn members, as they combined into each other so it could create an ark like boat so they could stand on, as it used the might of the back two whirlwinds and the front one as a way to move around and drive with.

Klaus nodded, "That is impressive, I am going to be honest with you, but let's get it going!" he yelled as the two nodded as they brought up Magic Flower Guidepost on top of the wind ark as they began to fly towards the treasure hall, not knowing that they have began a fight with one of the toughest people they will ever come across.

The fight has only just begun.

INTRO!

(A/N: Play PAiNT it BLACK)

We begin by seeing 2 of Asta's swords the Demon-Slayer Sword and the Demon-Dweller Sword as then we see at first a 5 Leaf Grimoire as it then changed into an amulet by Yuno as the Grimoire turned into a 4 Leaf Grimoire, as then both Grimoires appeared as we get a close up shot of both Yuno and Asta as Asta's side showed more of a demonic look while Yuno was more angelic. Then, several Grimoires began flying around the scenery. A couple got into front row as we see the Black Bulls with as then it changed into the Golden Dawn the next shot.

I would always close my eyes

And cower at reality

We start by seeing images of The Black Bulls as the background were mostly red or blue, as it was first Asta having a ready look, the next was Noelle looking at her wand, the next Luck looking up the sky with a smile on his face, Magna with the Black Bull flag, as Midori ended up tripping, as then it showed the Golden Dawn with Yuno looking up at the sky, Mimosa covering her mouth with her hand, Klaus fixing his glasses, Alecdora with his usual annoyed face.

I can't stand the idea

We then see Finral looking at the side as he was sitting down as the next one showed Langris with a calm look on his face as if he was looking at his older half brother, as Vanessa looked drunk, but still in her witch uniform, Charmy staring at her cupcake with Gauche looking at his mirror, as we then see Letoile looking fixing her glasses as she saw her compass, David with his usual carefree look.

Of just making excuses to give up

Then we see Grey and Gordon off to a corner, to shy to even speak to someone as then we see Hamon and Siren having a conversation as then we see Captain Yami and Captain William.

Stand right there

I don't want to be near you

Any minute now

We then cut to all of the Captains standing on the line as Yami, Charlotte, Nozel, Rill, Dorothy, Fuegoleon and Jack The Ripper had a white background as Gueldre, William and Julius had a black background.

Just wait right there

When we got to William, we see a calm looking man with sharp ears and braids as he had a wide grin on his face with a stone tablet.

The decisive battle is still a long way off

But when we got to Julius, all we saw was a flash of a man like Julius, but with black hair and a black star on the opposite side where it should be with a calculating look on his face, as it then it got back towards Julius.

Black and blue

We then see Yuno, Asta, Noelle, Mimosa, Luck and Klaus all ready as the opposite side showed Lotus Whomalt, Mars, Juden Yuki and Zvuk Brzi.

I'll give up on giving up

We see Juden throw out a huge spark of earth, wind, lightning, water and flame magic all put together as while Klaus tried to stop it, Noelle stepped forward and blasted out a powerful blast of a water dragon.

And get the world on my side

We cut then to a battle against one of the Shining Generals, Zvuk as he was battling against Luck and Mimosa at the same time as Mimosa more brought the support as Luck went in all on the offensive.

I'm looking for the reason I'm alive

We then see the strongest Shining General, Mars, looking down at the killed body of his best friend with wide eyes as he was covered in flames and there were crystals all over the place. As he then roared in power as he gained a new armour that was like that of a God as the two readied themselves against him.

Every time somewhere under this sky

We then see Luck grinning to himself as he remembered the past of his mother hugging him as he stood there shocked.

Breakthrough the tearful nights

We then see both Yuno and Asta get together as Yuno threw Asta with all of his might against the new armoured Mars as he closed his eyes.

And head where the light shines

Once the eyes reopened, we see Yuno looking at a small green fairy with a shocked expression on his face.

I want to keep my promise

We see Yuno and Asta fistbumping each other with grins on their faces once they did.

I'll deliver it to you

Both Yuno and Asta's Grimoires opened up as they threw their hands at each other, ready for a new battle.

While Yuno, Mimosa and Klaus were currently flying towards the treasure hall of the Dungeon on Yuno's new Celestial Wind Ark with Mimosa looking at her Magic Flower Guidepost, Klaus still remembered the words of the short little boy that he had an argument with.

"That boy… was Asta?" asked Klaus as Yuno kept using his new spell to his best abilities, "That is your rival? No offense to you, Yuno, but I don't really get why you would consider him your rival." said Klaus as it took all of Yuno's strength not to stop the ark, walk up to his senior and smack him.

"Look, Klaus, I already told you that no matter what, he is my rival. He is not weak, I know that better than anyone," said Yuno as even if Asta loses an arm, his Grimoire, his swords and everything else, he will still consider him his rival and no one else.

"I can respect that, I do, but the thing is, I don't trace a single atom of mana inside that boy. Not an ounce." said Klaus as Mimosa nodded to that. While she was focusing on her spell, she was still listening to their conversation. She didn't detect a trace of mana, which was strange, as even the people with the lowest amount of mana had at least some, but he didn't have any.

"Honestly, what was the Black Bulls Captain even thinking? I knew he recruited some backout of the wash mages, but someone with that low amount of mana? It isn't a shocker that he is in the worst Magic Knight Squad." said Klaus as Yuno was almost reaching his liimit when it came to his senior.

"Honestly? I won't be shocked, if got killed-"

Celestial Wind Ark stopped.

"Wha-"

"Klaus… with all due respect, don't you ever say anything like that towards Asta, do you understand me?" asked Yuno as he turned around as they saw a look on his eyes that basically said that he was not kidding around. He was dead serious when it came to this. Not even Luth got this treatment when they fought. His love of his brother was that strong.

"But-"

"But nothing. Asta is not weak, he is never weak. I trust in him that he became strong, he is stronger than anyone else will be. For you see, he is my rival." Yuno said as Klaus stepped backwards as Mimosa looked back at them.

Klaus looked down as Yuno looked at him.

"Do you understand?" asked Yuno as Klaus nodded.

"Yes, I do. I apologize." he said.

"Good." said Yuno as he turned around as his Celestial Wind Ark continued with silence filling the air.

What they didn't know, that crystals are being formed as they are flying off.

For each step from a powerful mage came out crystal that made it easy for him and the other 2 mages to walk on.

The two Shining Generals looked bored while Mars had a serious look on his face.

The Golden Dawn will meet the Diamond Barrage.

With Luck

Luck, still equipped with his Holy Lightning Boots and Holy Lightning Gloves, held the head of one of the Diamond Mages in robes with a sadistic smile on his face as almost everyone else was unconscious, "Man, you guys are piss easy! I had a better time fighting a monkey than you guys."

Lotus, who was sitting down on a couple of rocks, stroked his beard as he looked at his opponent, "Well, don't be too harsh on them, it is their first mission together. My, oh my, you young kids are getting stronger and stronger with every passing day. You are making this old man shaking in his boots." he said as he kept his smile on his face.

Lotus then looked at Luck, "You are quite strong and full of energy, you remind me of my three lovely daughters. Ahh, aren't they the cutest," he said as he continued, "Ahh, I can still see their faces and them being like, "When I grow up, I want to marry daddy!", but I have to see them grow up into the most frightening things: Teenagers." Lotus nearly dropped to his knees, "I can already see it, "Eww, no dad, we can do our own laundry, thank you very much." Oh no, I am going to miss them."

Luck looked at him in confusion, "What does that have to do with anything?"

"Can't a man love his daughters?!" Lotus yelled as he kept sulking as Luck threw the Diamond Mage.

"Whatever, your minions were easy to break like a piece of chocolate, but you are on a completely different story." Luck's grin didn't leave his face, "You are strong. Even the weakest minions can be excused if the leader is strong!" yelled Luck as Lotus looked at him.

"That may be true, but don't you think you are dropping to conclusions? I am not one to attack, but for you, I think I will make that work," he said as he stood up, "If I got my details correct, you are one that can wrap lightning all around you to make short, but brutal attacks with quick succession. No wonder you took out my men." said Lotus.

"That's right, but what about you? What is your Magic like?!" yelled Luck in excitement as Lotus sighed.

"Well that is a simple thing to answer," Lotus stood up, "just, you are feisty, I will give you that."

"Yeah! So let's go! One on one asshole! Let's go!" yelled Luck as Lotus sighed once more.

"Good grief, well, what can I say, but…" Lotus jumped from the rock he was sitting on and…

… he ran away.

"Huh?" asked Luck in confusion.

"I mean, there is no need to fight, am I right? We can all have a friendly little chat with no violence to be held, I am not really a fighter, so I wouldn't waste my energy fighting me, if I were you! I know, how about we play a friendly little game like rock paper and scissors? Or even better, I Spy! Come on, what do you say?!" yelled Lotus as he continued to run away.

"YOU ARE NOT GETTING ANYWHERE YOU OLD FART!" yelled Luck as used his Lightning Magic: Flash Step to zoom straight towards Lotus who was running into a drop kick towards Lotus who widened his eyes at just how quick the kid got into, "GET THIS!" he yelled as he then went through Lotus' body as his body turned into smoke. "WHAT!?"

He crashed into a wall faster than he could react as he turned around to see Lotus being all fine as he walked away from the smoke like he wasn't even affected. "How did you do that?!" yelled Luck in complete shock as he wasn't expecting that.

"Ahh… that? Well, that was thanks to my Smoke Creation Magic: Dusty Clone, which made a perfect replica the moment you kicked me on the spine, so I thank you for doing that." he said with a smirk on his face as Luck narrowed his eyes.

"So, he uses Smoke Magic, tough. I haven't fought someone with an unique type of magic like that, but still…" he grinned, "This is getting fun! More different attributes, the more I have fun!" he thought to himself as Lotus noticed the robe he was wearing.

"Hey, I recognize that robe. You are a Black Bull, right? I gotta say, your Captain was a tough kid to fight," said Lotus as Luck looked at him with a smile.

"Wait, you fought Captain Yami?!" he yelled in excitement as he never fought someone who fought Captain Yami and lived to the tell the tale.

"Yup, during the war between the Diamond Kingdom and Clover Kingdom, I had to fight your current Wizard King one day and the other day your Captain, which I have to say… that kid sure was tough, heck, he gave me that scar on my chest." Lotus said he looked at him, "Even though I wasn't that tough, during the war, I was nicknamed Lotus Of The Abyss."

The Cheery Berserker looked at him, "Oh I think I heard from you!"

Lotus of the Abyss raised an eyebrow from that, "Really?"

"Yeah, you are that Diamond Mage that Captain Yami said that while beating the everlasting crap out of you, you peed your pants and ran away like a lil baby! He was laughing like a maniac when he said that!" Luck laughed as Lotus sighed.

"Well, I can't lie to the kid and say that didn't happen," thought Lotus as he kept his smile, "Alright, if you want a fight. Go ahead, but I will tell you that I am not a figh-" he couldn't even finish his sentence as Luck zoomed incredibly fast with a fast kick to his face as he barely managed to dodge it.

From his cheek, it started to bleed. He looked at it and nodded, "You are fast." he said as Luck turned around to attack him, raising his Holy Lightning Gloves directly towards him.

"I KNOW! SO CATCH THIS!" he yelled as Lotus narrowed his eyes as once Luck was close enough, he blocked the upcoming punch as he rose his hand in a fast motion, but didn't deliver an attack as Luck then landed on the ground.

Luck zoomed straight towards as Lotus moved out of the way as he then flipped a page from his Grimoire once Luck noticed he hadn't landed a single strike just yet. He stood on the ground as he looked straight towards him as Lotus said, "Smoke Creation Magic: Nimbus Darkcloud!"

Around the two appeared a rather massive cloud that covered the two in a decent attempt and quick succession as Luck saw the cloud getting bigger and bigger as his target was getting harder to see from the dust cloud. "I don't really like to harm children, so I hope you wouldn't like this. You will understand that from this, smoke will fill the air around you, knocking you out."

Luck looked around as he saw the dust cloud getting bigger and bigger with each passing second as it covered Luck's vision as he couldn't see anything, but dark clouds and smoke as Lotus wasn't seen at all as he couldn't focus his eyesight to see him. He felt something as he fell on his knees.

The smoke was getting through his lungs making it harder for him to stay conscious as he could barely open his eyes as his eyesight was getting worse, his hearing was getting worse. As everything was almost getting turned into nothing in the young lad's mind.

"Win, Luck! You have to win!"

Luck then grinned as even though he can't see him, he can still track him down as he was an expert with mana tracking. "You think I am only good at close combat?! Think again!" his Grimoire flipped through, "Lightning Magic: Thunderbolt Destruction!" he yelled as then a massive orb appeared in the hands of his Holy Lightning Gloves as it was made out of lightning itself.

Luck then fired the powerful orb of lightning to repel all of the smoke around him as Lotus dodged it with quick succession as he was impressed at how well the kid adapted from his plan as he didn't think that he could do that very fast.

"You are mine!" a second Thunderbolt Destruction appeared around his palm as Lotus reacted quickly around this as he flipped through his Grimoire to see a solution to fix this as he then grinned.

Luck fired the powerful Thunderbolt Destruction straight towards Lotus as Lotus Of The Abyss yelled out, "I don't think so! Smoke Creation Magic: Dusty Army!" as then the man was turned into smoke itself as several Dusty Clones appeared around Luck as he did successfully killed one of them, even if it wasn't Lotus himself.

"Ah! I see what you are doing! You split your mana equal between all of these clones of yours so I wouldn't track it! Clever for an old man!" Luck kept his grin out as all of the Lotuses smiled as they rubbed their goatee.

"That's right."

"We did this."

"So you, young one."

"Will be distracted."

"By us." the Lotuses around the Clover Mage said one after the other as they all yelled out at the same time, "Now! For this! Smoke Magic: Poisonous Tail of Knockout!" they all yelled out as they shot their hands straight towards the young lad as from it appeared several long extensive tendrils that went straight towards the Lightning Mage.

The Cheery Berserker grinned ear to ear, "Oh this is fun!" he yelled as he quickly got all of the Poisonous Tail Of Knockout from all of the Lotuses around him as the Lotuses quickly got out of their grip from the fast mage. Luck then used the tendrils of smoke to attack every single one of the Lotus clone as the real Lotus dodged it.

"My, my, you are a clever one! No wonder Yami picked you." Lotus of The Abyss said as Luck looked at him.

"Of course! He doesn't recruit pussies like the Purple Orca so you can expect us to be strong! And who the hell told you we are done!" yelled Luck as he used Flash Step to get closer towards Lotus as the man was now ready to block everything for a couple of seconds.

Luck first threw out a jab as when he landed on the ground he delivered three kicks around the Diamond Mage, then used his feet to get close enough to deliver an uppercut towards the Smoke Mage which he used the momentum to deliver a kick as he did a backflip as he realized that not one of his attacks landed as Lotus was untouched.

"How?"

"Experience dear boy. You aren't a General for slacking off," said Lotus as he brushed the dust from his jacket as he looked at the shocked look of Luck as the young boy then grinned.

"Looks like I have to try a little harder then," his Grimoire then began to flip around as he found the perfect spell, "This will do! Lightning Magic: Target Electr-" As then, Luck felt dizzy as he had a splitting headache. "What… what is happening to me?" asked Luck as Lotus smiled.

"Ah I see, so the effect of my Spell is finally in effect, huh?" asked Lotus as Luck looked at him as he could barely see him.

"What do you mean… the only spell you hit me with is that cloud one!" yelled Luck as Lotus shook his head.

"You are correct, at least for that small detail. You see, while you were fighting my men, I opened up my Grimoire to use a single Spell that can help me as it is filled with magic. My Magic." Luck widened his eyes at that.

"What do you mean by that?" asked Luck in complete shock.

Lotus grinned, "Well, have you ever heard of Weakening Magic? Well, I am one of the few, if not, the only one that can use it masterfully. It does take a long time, so it does help having friends along the way." Lotus said as he looked at Luck almost falling from his legs.

"You should stop fighting, not that you are weak, but so you don't hurt yourself while doing so. My Smoke Weakening Magic: Garden of Plundering Smoke will make sure that you will fall, but don't worry, I will take it off soon, like I said, I don't like hurting kids," he said as Luck fell to the ground. His Holy Lightning Boots and Gloves turning off.

"This… is how I got my name Lotus of The Abyss, because with this magic… my enemies fall into the endless abyss until their defeat." he said as he saw the young lad and he could see him slowly falling asleep from this, it was getting hard for him to stay awake. Luck closed his eyes.

Lotus turned around, "See ya' kid, save that strength, kay? I need to see a couple of my friends." he said as he began to walk away.

"..n"

"… in"

"… win"

"… I have to win!"

"For mom!"

"Win. Win. Win. Win. Win. Win. Win. Win! Win! Win! WIN! I HAVE TO WIN!"

"...not yet," Lotus stopped as he turned around to see the kid.

"What the?" Lotus couldn't believe his eyes as he saw Luck standing up straight, looking like a demon in the night with a grin that was like that of a being unlike a human.

"I haven't seen things this interesting in ages! I am not going down!" yelled Luck as then his Holy Lightning Gloves and Boots appeared once more, but this time, looking more and more demonic than last time as Lotus smiled.

"If you say so." he said as Luck yelled out.

"Lightning Magic: Flash Step!" he yelled out as Luck zoomed straight towards Lotus faster than he could ever expect in his life as he was late for even a fraction of a second, he could've died back there. "YOU ARE MINE! PREPARE TO DIE!" he yelled out as Lotus had to focus against him.

"You are still a kid, but that doesn't mean that I am going to hold back!" he yelled as he threw the tendril made out of smoke, but Luck grinned harder than him as even though Lotus was smiling, he knew that he had to dodge this or at least use one of his spells.

"I don't think so! Lightning Magic: Target Electro!" he yelled as he pointed his index and middle finger as he shot a powerful, but thin line made of electricity that went through the Poisonous Tail of Knockout like it was a knife cutting through butter as Lotus widened his eyes.

"I have no choice, Smoke Magic: Dusty Clone!" he yelled out as when the Target Electro pierced through his body, he was turned into smoke as Luck quickly turned around to see Lotus trying to find a spell to get through this situation. He grinned ear to ear as he can't wait to see the old man cry like a little baby once he is finished with him.

"Where do you think you are going, old man!? Flash Step!" Luck yelled out as he practically disappeared into nothing as he appeared right in front of Lotus who widened his eyes at how fast he was as he quickly guarded himself from this kid- no, a berserker as he had a massive grin that can't fade away.

Luck clawed him out that pierced through Lotus' right arm as few lines of blood appeared from it, as The Cheery Berserker tried to deliver a roundhouse kick, but Lotus of The Abyss actually managed to block that attack, but his bones did almost crack from the pressure and strength, as he punched him straight at his chest as Lotus nearly spat out blood from that as he flew a few meters away.

Lotus saw Luck quickly approach him as he then grinned, "I can't afford to lose either and even if this takes up most of my magic power, so be it. Smoke Creation Magic: Binding Cross Prison!" he yelled as smoke appeared all over Luck as he was stopped into the air as he widened his eyes from shock as he couldn't move.

"I can't move!" yelled Luck.

"That is the point," said Lotus as he stretched his back, "Man you gave me alot of trouble for a little kid like you, so I have to respect that. However this fight ends here. I have a family to feed and a country to save," said Lotus as he began to walk away from the Lightning Mage, "Besides, I have a couple of kids under my watch, so I can't let them down." he said as Luck looked at him.

"NO! WE ARE FIGHTING TO THE DEATH!" he roared.

"Sorry, but no. Fighting ain't my style kid, I only do it so I can make my wife happy and for my little girls to look up to me," he said as he walked away as Luck screamed in his head that he wants this fight to end, here.

But then… he heard a familiar voice.

"THIS FIGHT AIN'T OVER JUST YET!" Lotus and Luck turned around to see Asta and Noelle catch up to them.

"Asta? Noelle?" asked Luck as he looked at them.

"Don't worry, we will save you!" yelled Asta as Noelle tried to catch her breath.

Lotus sighed, "This ain't good." he said.

With Yuno, Mimosa and Klaus

The Golden Dawn finally managed to get to the end of the Dungeon with Yuno steering the Celestial Wind Ark as Mimosa looked up and saw the massive door, as she then made her Magic Flower Guidepost disappear to save up some mana as she looked at the door, "Wow! That door looks so big! It is almost unbelievable!" yelled Mimosa with a wide smile as the two nodded with her.

"I have to agree, that thing is certainly an impressive thing to see," said Klaus.

"Right, but I don't think that can be easily destroyed." said Yuno as Klaus looked at it and agreed.

"Still, we can do what we did against Luth, right? With our Laser Cannon, it won't stand a chance against the Golden Dawn." said Klaus as Yuno did thought it would be cool to use that Combination Magic like before against that Bounty Hunter.

They then went close towards the massive door and moved his Celestial Wind Ark down to the ground and Yuno made it sure that it disappeared so he can as well save up mana as even though he does have an immense amount of mana, he still needs to preserve it. Especially since he feels the strength of 3 powerful mages close to them.

The place was actually fairy well lit with a couple of well put water around them, it had stones as the floor and it had a massive metal door that was like a tower.

"I have to be honest, that was barely a Dungeon, not to mention… the Black Bulls aren't here at all. Despite their boasting, they didn't stand a chance at all," Klaus said as Yuno sighed and Mimosa shrugged.

"You are probably right." she said as Yuno then suddenly turned around.

"MIMOSA WATCH OUT! Star Magic: Tercian Scutum!" Yuno turned around as 3 sets of stars appeared beside him as they flew straight towards Mimosa as before the Plant Mage could even react, they created a triangle like shield with different colours as the crystals were destroyed upon impact.

"What the-"

"What happened?!" yelled both Klaus and Mimosa in shock as they all turned once they heard a whistle and then clapping.

They turned around to see Zvuk clapping, Juden whistling and Mars standing there with a determined look on his face. "Not bad, black haired boy! That was a quite flashy way of defending! I am not going to lie." Zvuk said as he continued to clap.

"Yeah, that was the most sickest thing we have ever seen!" said Juden as he clapped once more towards the Golden Dawn trio.

"Will you two idiots stop that? I should've been the only one who should come here, not paired with you lots." said Mars as Zvuk and Juden stopped as they frowned looking at Mars.

"Ouch bro, that hurt." said Juden as it slightly hurt hearing that from a comrade.

"Come on, dude, why can't we at least compliment the enemy for cool moves? You have to admit that was flashy!" yelled Zvuk as Mars rolled his eyes.

Klaus observed the three mages and saw that their uniforms were completely different to that of a Magic Knight, the capes were different, not to mention the fact that they had Diamond symbols on it. "Who are you three?! Talk now! You almost harmed one of us behind the back!"

"Why should I care? You are my enemies, mere pebbles against us." said Mars as he looked at Klaus as the three narrowed their eyes.

"Yeah, sorry, but Mars here has a point. You guys are our enemies." said Juden as Yuno widened his eyes hearing that name.

"Mars… the boy that Fanzell compared me to? Wait… that means we are facing someone that even Fanzell said that he is stronger than Asta and I, including the fact that he has 2 Magic Attributes. We have to be careful" thought to himself Yuno as he pulled out his Grimoire.

"Still… who are you guys?" asked Mimosa as Zvuk stretched out his back.

"Well, for starters. I am Zvuk Brzi! The flashiest of all Shining Generals and the 4th strongest Shining General!" yelled Zvuk as they took a step backwards as they realized that they are fighting possibly the strongest mages from the Diamond Kingdom.

"I am Juden Yuki! The guy that loves chilling out the crew while off missions and getting his game on during missions! Not to mention the 3rd strongest Shining General!" Juden yelled out as he then pointed towards Mars, "I am doing for you, Mars, since you don't like doing these! He is Mars, sure he may have a heart hard as his Magic Attribute, but he ain't half bad! Not to mention, out of all the Shining Generals, he is the strongest!" yelled out as they gasped hearing that.

"The strongest?! Where is the 2nd strongest?! Are they here?!" yelled Klaus as he began sweating.

"Ladros? Nah, he ain't here. He is on a 10 day mission at the current moment." Juden crossed his arms as he titled his head. Yuno widened his eyes once more as he was the one that Fanzell compared to Asta.

"Are we here to talk or are we going to fight?" asked Mars as he looked at his comrades, "We came here for the treasure hall and nothing more."

"Yeah… sorry, you are right. Oi, you two, cover your ears." said Zvuk as he walked forward as they covered their ears, Mars covering his ears with what appears to be crystals and Juden what looked like to be clay.

Klaus and Mimosa thought that Juden's Attribute is Clay, but they didn't have enough time to think about that as Zvuk pulled out his Grimoire that was white with the center being that of a Diamond, "Sound Magic: Echoing Voice!" he yelled as then he opened his mouth as a loud screeching voice rumbled throughout the Dungeon around them as The Golden Dawn members fell to their knees from the loud voice.

The three members were on the ground, covering their ears from the loud piercing voice that was practically touring their eardrums. The entire Dungeon was shaking from the loud noise as they were sure if this continues, the entire Dungeon will fall apart.

Yuno got out his Grimoire and silently said, "Star Magic: Obice!" three stars appeared around Yuno as they flew to him, Klaus and Mimosa as they created a barrier which the noise practically felt non-existent.

The two sighed in relief, "Thank you, Yuno." they both said as then they saw Juden pull out his Grimoire, which was one that had 5 colours, brown, green, blue, red and yellow all around the Grimoire that had a Diamond on it.

"I wouldn't go celebrating just yet! Elemental Creation Magic: Spark Blaster!" a red gun appeared in Juden's hands as it was being covered in electricity as he grinned ear to ear as they widened their eyes looking at the new gun and the Magic Attribute, "Take this!" as then from the gun, strong shocks of electricity were then shot from the gun going straight to the barriers, destroying them.

Zvuk stopped screeching as he grabbed his throat, "Damn, my throat feels shit everytime I use it." he said as he looked at the three, "Oi, I will take glasses, you take the girl, and Mars buddy, you take the least flashy guy there!" Zvuk then flipped a page from his Grimoire, "Sound Magic: Sonic Boom!" he yelled as threw a punch straight towards Klaus that practically created a sonic boom.

Klaus raised his glasses as he pulled out his own Grimoire, "That won't harm me! Steel Creation Magic: King's Shield!" he yelled out as then his sword and shield were created in front of him as he used his shield to block the attack from Zvuk.

"Not bad." Zvuk grinned to himself as Klaus looked at him.

"The Golden Dawn won't fall to the likes of you!" yelled Klaus as he ran straight towards him.

"I beg to differ. Sound Magic: Sonido." as then Zvuk disappeared in a flash of light as Klaus was shocked by his speed, as then he heard him appearing behind him. Klaus turned around to block the punch from Zvuk. Klaus tried using his sword, but Zvuk disappeared. Klaus turned around, but didn't see him as he was then kicked by his side.

Klaus rolled over a bit as he roared out, "Steel Creation Magic: Spiral Lance!" as then from the ground appeared a rather sharp lance that went straight towards Zvuk as the Sound Mage dodged it, but his uniform did get scratched a bit, but that didn't matter, as Zvuk punched him straight at the face once more as Klaus grabbed his wrist and tried to stab him with his sword. Zvuk used Sonido once more to disappear.

Klaus clicked his tongue, he knew that this fight will a tough one.

Juden held his Spark Blaster in his hands as he ran towards her, "Sorry, lady! But I have to do this for my Kingdom!" he pointed his Spark Blaster towards MImosa as electricity was around the powerful gun, but Mimosa grinned.

"Apology accepted, however, allow this in return! Plant Magic: Vine Whip!" as then around Mimosa appeared 4 powerful green vines that were around her at all times, as then one of the vines smacked the gun from the Shining General's hands as he looked in shock at the Plant Mage, as she used the other 3 and now the free vines to beat up the Shining General as much as possible.

Juden, however, caught one of them, "Not bad! However… Elemental Magic: Flare Storm!" from the tip of his fingers appeared a raging inferno that almost covered both mages, as the vines were lit on fire from the spell as Mimosa jumped out of the way, but she wasn't expecting him to go even faster, "Now… Elemental Magic: Downburst!" he yelled out as a powerful gust of wind appeared from his finger tips that made Mimosa fly towards a wall.

Mimosa quickly got up as she flipped a page from her Grimoire, "Plant Magic: Magic Cannon Flower!" behind Mimosa appeared a massive flower with vines all over the newly made plant as then from the pink petals of the plant began to glow in a yellow light.

Juden grinned ear to ear, "Ah, I see what is going on! Elemental Creation Magic: Bubble Blaster!" Juden went down to his knees as then what appeared to be a blue coloured toy looking bazooka with a water bottle around it for ammo on his shoulders, as he grabbed it as a large torrent of water was then shot from it that rivaled that of the Magic Cannon Flower, but unfortunately for him, it wasn't strong enough as the light went straight towards him.

He grinned, "That ain't going to work!" he yelled as the strong torrent of water was overpowered, and the light pierced through his Bubble Blaster and Juden himself, but to her shock, he turned into Bubbles.

"What?!" she yelled out as Juden appeared beside her.

"Sorry to confuse you, but my Elemental Magic: Bubble Illusion allows me to turn into bubbles! So I hope you don't mind for another one of these attacks! Elemental Magic: MIre Shockwave!" he yelled as then around his striking arm appeared strong amounts of clay as he then threw the punch straight towards Mimosa, but she was ready.

"Don't worry! I got it! Plant Creation Magic: Spiky Shield!" as then around Mimosa appeared a strong shield that covered Mimosa as it was filled with spiky plants that Juden slammed his hand towards the shield, but thanks to the new equipment, it didn't hurt as much.

"Clever!" Juden jumped backwards as he looked at his Grimoire. "This fight is just starting."

"I wouldn't think of anything else!" yelled Mimosa as then she yelled out, "Plant Magic: Grass Sword!" she yelled out as then her new sword made out of grass was made.

Meanwhile, Yuno and Mars were looking at each other, ready for the first one to make his move, but then Mars threw his hand out, "Move, pebble, or else."

"Like hell I will!" yelled Yuno as he pulled out his Grimoire.

"Fine. Crystal Creation Magic: Harpe!" around Mars appeared a whole army of powerful and sharp swords that were made out the purest of crystals that couldn't be contained by simple means as they were flown straight towards him.

"Wind Creation Magic: Wind Sword Shower!" as then his signature swords then began to fly straight towards to all of the swords as they clashed right into each other, destroying them with simple ease.

"That is all? Crystal Magic: Cerberus!" he then yelled out as three heads appeared around Mars, which all looked like dogs, but demonic as the fangs were that of a demons, the eyes were blood red and the sheer look dwarfed that of any pitbull as they all roared, as they created several beams of crystal energy which then shot directly towards Yuno.

Yuno narrowed his eyes, "This is more than I expected! Wind Magic: Gale Palm!" he yelled out as he pushed out his hand forwards the three dog heads that shot powerful beams made out crystals as a strong gale appeared from it, barely managing to hold it together, but Yuno was being pushed backwards.

"I am being pushed back by this much?! No wonder, Fanzell told us this…" he gritted his teeth as three stars appeared beside him, "Star Magic: Pinpoint Blast!" he yelled out as all three stars flew straight towards him as then three more sets of stars appeared.

Mars raised an eyebrow at this, "What are you planning, pebble?"

"What I am planning is to do this! Star Magic: Tercian Flagellum!" he yelled as then the three sets stars then made a powerful, short looking whip that was like that of a straight line that was colourful. It flew straight towards Mars, as the Shining General…

…caught the whip made out of stars. Yuno widened his eyes.

"Pathetic." he said as he pulled Yuno straight towards him as he yelled, "Crystal Creation Magic: Labrys!" he yelled out as then, what they saw was a powerful looking axe made out crystals as the ends of it were as sharp as they come. He raised his arms with Labrys as Yuno dispatched the stars.

He looked over to Klaus as he saw him ready to be hit by one Zvuk's attacks. The two nodded as one of the stars flew straight towards him as Yuno moved his fingers. "Star Magic: Conjunction!"

To Mars and Zvuk surprises, these two switched places as they both were ready for a counter attack, "Wind Magic: Vacuum Wave!" he yelled out as he threw a massive punch straight towards Zvuk as he flew straight towards a wall as before he could react, Yuno went in on his strategy, "Wind Creation Magic: Swift White Hawk!" he yelled out as a massive hawk appeared in front of him that was made out cyclones around the boy. He threw out his hand as the hawk flew at high speeds.

Klaus on the other hand swung the sword of his King's Shield, but Mars was faster, "Crystal Creation Magic: Aegis." a shield appeared around his free arm that was made out of crystals itself as it blocked and even destroyed Klaus' sword.

"Oh shit." he said as he turned to see Labrys swinging straight towards him as even though he blocked the hit from the Crystal Mage, it broke upon impact the more he used force on it. Klaus had to roll over to dodge the next attack from this man.

It appears to Klaus, Mimosa and Yuno, the fight has only just begun.

With Luck, Asta and Noelle

Asta and Noelle were finally able to get through Luck, after they were able to beat up some jel monsters along the way, including the fact that they were in a room where gravity itself shifted which Asta grabbed onto a fake chest that was an actual monster which made Noelle beat him up and Asta puke from seeing that, but now they were here to save their comrade from the Diamond Mage known as Lotus Of The Abyss.

"LUCK! So that's where you are!" yelled Noelle as she looked at her comrade being tangled up several tendrils made out of smoke as he could barely move from the tendrils. It was close to the way of Binding Magic at times. She then looked back towards the opponent of Luck.

"YOU! Who the heck are you?! And what have you been doing to Luck?!" yelled Asta as he looked at Lotus in rage as his Grimoire floated beside him.

"Oh me? Well your pal, Luck here, and I decided to have a little chat. I said that a friendly game was a good way to start, he said no, so I tied him up with my Spell. I think the way I am doing this is a good way." said Lotus with a smile on his face as he rubbed his goatee as the two Black Bulls looked at him with narrowed eyes.

"Get… out…" they turned to Luck, "This… is… MY FIGHT!" he yelled as the two shook their heads.

"Sorry, but no! We are not leaving here without our friends!" yelled Asta as he pulled out his Grimoire his massive Demon-Slayer Sword as Lotus noted at how massive the thing looked compared to regular swords, as this one was different by every definition. Asta ran towards Luck and slammed the sword from the smoke, as Luck was now free.

"There we go! Now, to handle this! 3 v 1- huh?" asked Asta as Luck pushed him away.

"Get out! This is my fight!" yelled Luck as Asta looked at him.

"But, Luck! We are here to help yo-"

"SHUT IT!" Luck yelled at Noelle as he turned to Lotus as then he grew a sadistic grin. "This guy is mine. He is my prey. I will get him! For mom!" he yelled as then he used his Flash Step to zoom straight towards Lotus of the Abyss with a kick, but there was no target as Lotus used his Dusty Clone to evade that attack.

"Luck! We are tr-"

"Noelle… don't. Just let him do his thing," Noelle was shocked to hear Asta sound… disappointed in his comrade. Sure she knew him for a couple of weeks, but this was a new thing for her. They watched the fight between Lotus and Luck continue onwards.

"Nice try, kiddo! But you should listen to your friends! This is the only way of defeating me!" he yelled out as Luck pointed his palm straight towards him.

"SHUT THE HELL UP! Lightning Magic: Thunderbolt Destruction!" he yelled out as he shot the powerful orb made out of electricity straight towards Lotus, but the Smoke Mage was too quick for the draw, as he merely stepped aside from that orb as Luck flew at him and they proceeded to performe some close combat to fight at this level.

Lotus managed to block the first two kicks from Luck who went crazy with the close combat, as he tried to do a sucker punch, but the man blocked it and delivered an unexpected gut kick as he moved out of the way as he saw Luck trying to use this as a way to attack him.

When Luck turned around, Lotus said, "Smoke Magic: Poisonous Tail of Knockout!" he yelled as he thrusted Luck to a wall as the tendril went around the poor kid, Luck tried to shoot a straight Target Electro at him, but Lotus moved his head away from that. Even with it being close, he still managed to dodge that attack.

The tendril made out of smoke didn't disappear, "Well… well… well, look, kiddo. You could've won when you had the chance if you teamed up, but now… your chance of doing that is gone. Smoke Magic: Knockout Gas." he said as from his sleeves went out a small puff of smoke that went straight towards Luck.

Luck saw the smoke going straight towards him as he began to thought, "Does this mean…. I lost? No… No! NO! I CAN'T LOSE! I CAN'T DISAPPOINT MOM! FOR HER! I WILL WIN FOR HER!" Luck tried to struggle all that he could, but he couldn't do anything, he was stuck there for a long time, waiting for him to fall to the abyss thanks to Lotus of The Abyss.

The smoke went towards him-

"NO!" yelled Asta as Lotus and Luck watched in shock as he cut through Lotus' Smoke Magic with zero issue, "I won't let you go down like that, Luck! You are my friend! And friends stick together no matter what! You may not win on your own, but together, we will rise to the top!" he yelled as he turned to Lotus and pointed his finger at him, "And you! You are going down to the might of the Black Bulls!" he yelled out.

"That's right! And I am helping you out! Not that I want to, of course! I just don't want you to fail like a loser." said Noelle as she flipped her hair as she pointed her wand straight towards at Lotus.

"Ah, with someone that could potentially cut magic? This could be tough." said Lotus with a smile on his face, but he was ready for this fight. Lotus saw Noelle using her wand as a water based Magic Bullet was shot from it as he had to take a step backwards to dodge that, as well as having to dodge Asta swinging his sword around.

Luck just stood there.

Watching his comrades fighting a guy that he had problems with.

He thought that fighting someone powerful alone will bring him joy.

He thought battling alone was great.

He thought fighting alone was the right way.

That was… something he learned during his past.

The life of Luck Voltia was anything to be looked upon.

The boy was in a normal looking family that was part of the course, with a dad with brown hair and blue eyes, a mother with long yellow hair and green eyes and a son with yellow hair and blue eyes. They lived in part of the town of Kikka and Luck went into a school to see of how to use their magic propelly, including the fact of regular school activities.

But what happened in Luck's personal life was a different story all together.

Luck… couldn't stop smiling, it was something that he can't control as no matter if he was happy, sad, mad or anything, he kept on smiling with a grin that was that of a monster and a demon that couldn't be controlled.

And so it was the reason why his dad, Set Voltia, began to abuse him. For the reason that he was like that of a demon, a beast that can't be used. He was afraid of his child, he was terrified of him. He couldn't control his fear and it was clear to see that he was terrified and even then Luck kept on smiling. He kept on smiling even if he was smacked, slapped, hit on the face or even thrown on the ground, he kept on smiling.

It was to the point that his mother, Astrape Voltia, tried to stop her husband from harming their son every day even when she was screaming at him to stop, to stop harming their kid, he didn't. Set didn't stop, not once, and even, he did something that Luck won't forget. He harmed his mother, he slapped her to the ground.

Set was never more disgusted at himself than now or even terrified of his son more than now as the look he got from his son was something that can't be forgotten even a millennia after. It won't be forgotten.

Which is why the fact that Set Voltia, the very next day after the incident, he left home without telling anyone about where he was going, as he would rather die than to see his Devil of a son ever again.

That was only the start of Luck's pain. After that, Astrape began to abuse Luck for everything that he did, even if he did nothing, but smile and look at her, he kept on smiling and the abuse never stopped.

She smacked him, slapped him, hit him on the head, yell at him, threw him on the ground, screamed at him, telling that to just get mad, get any sort of reaction, but it never worked, as even when he was trying to do so, but it never happened. Ever and it hurt him more than anything to hear that from his mother.

The abuse was getting worse and worse, until one day, when there was a Magic Tournament in his school, where he had to battle a noble, which everyone, even the teachers thought would be a horrific defeat as the noble was cocky the entire duel, the entire time the match had begun, the noble was cocky. The end of the fight was shortly after the match, and it was a landslide.

Not for the noble.

But for Luck.

Everyone looked at the commoner in shock as they were away from him as much as possible as they were all standing in shock as they couldn't believe what they have seen as the noble ran as fast as possible.

"A commoner defeated a noble."

"That has never happened before."

"This is history."

"I… am afraid."

"I don't want to get near him.

Fear was known whenever Luck was close to them as battles were his main way of showing his strength and fear. It was the reason why he was nicknamed: The Cheery Berserker.

When Astrape heard of the news that her son won the fight against a noble, she couldn't even believe it, she couldn't even believe her ears when she heard that as that was impossible, something that can't be true at all. But his look said it all, he was the one that came up on top.

"You actually defeated a noble all on your own in battle?" she asked as her son nodded, "Oh, Luck that is fantastic," she said as she hugged him, "Who knew that you are so strong, from us, you are strong. They always think that we are weak, but now, you must win. You must win all on your own without any regrets! Fight, fight, all on your own!" she yelled as her voice was frantic.

That was the first time in years that Luck felt embrace.

As he fought more and more, so she could feel prouder of her, so he could earn her affection, he fought until he could no longer breathe, he made sure that he will win, no matter what!

However, one event changed him.

The death of Astrape Voltia.

His mother.

It was apparently due to all the stress she had. From her husband abusing her son and even her at times, to the stress of just looking at her son, to all of the times she heard horrible things about her when she wasn't looking.

She was dead.

Luck Voltia smiled.

Luck Voltia cried.

Luck Voltia felt pain.

Pain of not expressing himself and the death of one of the people that accepted him.

Luck continued to stare at his comrades, the people that were there for him. The people that accepted him from day one with no set backs or any conditions. They were all there for him.

The Black Bulls.

"I… at some point, I always tried not to notice, the people that were always around me," he continued to stare as he saw Asta cut the smoke that was about to hit Noelle, "The people i could count on, the people that I could trust! The people I can consider my family." he said as he remembered the day where joined the Black Bulls.

He remembered the shyness of Midori even though she tried her best, the weirdness of Gordon and Grey, how accepting and kind Finral was, to Gauche silently caring about his new comrades, how Charmy gave him the most delicious treats to even Vanessa telling him that he should look up to her. Not as a friend, but like a big sister.

"Sorry, mom, I learned something, something powerful." he looked up as The Cheery Berserker smiled genuinely, "The happiness of working together!" He saw Lotus trying to land a smoke bomb towards Asta.

Before the Anti Mage could react, a lightning bolt went past him as he saw him kicking Lotus of the Abyss away a few feet. "You are right! Fighting together sounds way more fun!" he yelled as his comrade grinned.

"All right!" he yelled as Noelle took a deep breath as she walked towards the two.

"Took you long enough." she said.

Lotus however looked at the three as he then sighed, "Ahh, a 3 v 1? That is going to be a pain in the neck. Well, time to get serious right now." he said as he looked at his Grimoire and began to flip some of the pages as he found out the perfect spell for this situation. "There we go." he said as then an intense amount of smoke appeared from the Grimoire as they watched in shock as the entire arena is covered by smoke.

"What the heck?!" yelled Asta in shock as he watched the entire arena being covered as they looked around to see smoke going all around them, more and more smoke being created as they could hardly see anything.

"There is so much smoke around here!" yelled Noelle in shock as she coughed just breathing a tiny amount of it.

"Sorry you three, but this is my favourite spell I have even though it nearly depelts my magic power, it is Smoke Creation Magic: Prison of The Fallen King." Lotus said as his voice creaked all around the place as he was invisible to everyone around them, "Don't even try to attack me and get a free hit in, I can track your mana even castle away."

"Oh yeah?! We are still going to kick your butt!" yelled Asta as he used his Demon-Slayer Sword to cut through the smoke, but to his shock, it regenerated with new patches of smoke.

"Let me try!" Luck yelled as he kicked the smoke around them, but again it regenerated.

"Here!" Noelle shot a Water based Magic Bullet straight towards the smoke, but it didn't work out. "God! This place is horrible to fight in! If we don't beat this guy now or never, we will fall unconscious!" Noelle yelled as they nodded at that.

Luck then began to think about this, "Alright, what do we know about this guy? He uses smoke to get a clone so he couldn't get hit on, he is more of a defensive mage rather than an offensive mage. Not to mention he moves faster the more there is smoke. We have to defeat this guy with someone that he can't track, but how?" he thought as he then looked at Asta. He grinned.

"Guys, I have a plan!" they all turned to Luck as he began to tell his plan, "Alright, since Asta has no Magic, he will be the one to attack him! I can track where the old fart is, so all I have to do is corner him! Noelle, you shoot a powerful Magic Bullet at Asta's back so he doesn't notice as you go ahead and attack him!" he yelled out as the two nodded.

"Yo! That sounds amazing!" yelled Asta with stars in his eyes.

"That… actually sounds like a good strategy." said Noelle as she was confused on how this battle addicted boy had a good idea for a strategy in quick succession.

Back to Lotus, he was flying in his smoke magic made prison as he was looking at them and how they are cornered. He may be old, but he was more experienced than all of them combined. Sure he wasn't the strongest out of any of them, but that didn't mean that he was-

He widened his eyes as he saw several Thunderbolt Destructions and even Target Electros that went straight towards the old mage, as he quickly dodged the attack as they all missed the Smoke Mage as he began moving to the right, his right. He kept his smile on his face, as even though he was in the air, he was still able to dodge all of them.

"Sorry to burst your bubbles, but you can't attack me! I know where all of you are, so no matter what you guys do, you can't attack me." Lotus said as he continued to dodge all fo the attacks like they were no trouble as the attacks kept on going and going.

He began to think to himself, why did he continue to face these guys, sure they aren't weak, but they aren't smart-

"We are not stopping because we have you right where we want you!" yelled Asta as he swung his Demon-Slayer Sword straight towards the man as he looked at them in shock as he didn't sense him at all as he coughed up blood. He was then thrown to the wall as there was a small crater that Lotus fell on.

The smoke all around them began to fade away.

Asta fell down comically as he created a small crater from falling alone.

He stood up with a grin on his face as the two other Black Bulls walked up to him.

Around Lotus were still smoke that he could use, "What on earth was that?! First, the Lightning Boy was used a distraction, then they attacked me with a boy with… no mana? Strange. Even though Ladros had no Magic Attribute, he still had mana."

When Lotus tried to stand up he groaned, "Damn it, it looks like they bested me. I should really get a Recovery Spell sometime soon. My left arm and a couple of ribs are probably broken. These kids are strong, stronger than I could've imagined. It looks like that Yami guy got some Diamonds in the rough." he thought to himself as he knew that they were getting closer to him.

"If I ever get captured, I can't see my wife and kids, which means… I would rather die. Or run away, that works," Thought to himself Lotus as he yelled, "Smoke Creation Magic: Hustling Lazy Car!" he yelled as he used the surrounding magic around him to form a new vehicle.

It was a vehicle that was a new work that Diamond Kingdom tried to make in the upcoming years, it was something that had 4 wheels, what appears to be several seats, an engine pipe that had smoke coming out of it, 4 windows and a wheel that steered the whole thing which Lotus likes to call it a steering wheel.

"WHAT THE HELL?!" yelled Asta in shock as the Lotus went speeding away from them.

"You are not catching me alive!" he yelled out as then smoke went around to the defeated mages of the Diamond Kingdom.

"You are not getting away!" the magicless boy yelled as he began to run straight towards him.

"Yeah! Your ass is ours!" roared Luck as they began to run straight towards him as Noelle tried her best to run with them.

"Oh no! You are not getting me that easily! Smoke Magic: Hermit's Thick Smoke!" he yelled as then the smoke all around Lotus and his men made him completely disappear with ease.

Everyone stopped what they were doing as they saw Lotus of The Abyss disappear with ease as not even Luck could sense him. Nero flew towards Asta and sat on his head.

"AHH! DAMN IT! HE GOT AWAY!" yelled Asta as he slammed his foot on the ground.

"Yeah, that sucks big time." said Luck as he pouted. Noelle finally got up to them.

"You guys are way too fast for me." she said as she panted.

"Hey, but still! This mission isn't over yet!" yelled Luck.

"Wait, what?!" yelled Noelle.

"Yeah, I can sense 3 strong dudes battling and they are even stronger than the guy previously!" he said as his grin went wide as he said that.

"Then we have to go as soon as possible!" yelled Asta as Noelle looked at them in shock.

"But- Can't we just take a little break?" she asked as Luck shook his head.

"Nope! Come on! Let's jump those losers!" Luck said as he grabbed both Asta and Noelle's arms as then he ran as fast as possible to the three powerful mages that he couldn't wait to fight, the person that he was excited to fight.

Lotus, once he realized that he was safe from those three, continued to move with them, but in a more slow moving way as he didn't want to get close to them so he could see them, "Ahh, the new generation surely has gotten stronger than before. Now, here is the thing… will they be able to defeat them… or more specifically…"

Lotus dropped his smile.

"Or the Diamond Kingdom's weapon. Mars."

ALRIGHT! Done! Only 6 days after uploading the last one and that was quite impressive, right? 13k words and it was quite enjoyable if I am going to be honest with all of you. I am currently around 215 on Bleach, and I am really enjoying it so far! If you can already see, I have added 2 things from Bleach!

Now to recap things, we see Yuno, Klaus and MImosa meet up with the Black Bulls + Nero, sans Luck, and I decided to have a little more fun with the interactions, including them calling Asta a gremlin, which he totally is one as we see them having an argument and new dialouge. Then we have 3 important scenes, Lotus vs Luck, The Shining Generals vs The Golden Dawn and the scene with Yuno defending his brother which I think the first one works well to show that he cares about him.

The Shining Generals vs The Golden Dawn is a fight that will shortly last, but don't worry it will be longer the next time we see them in the next chapter, as Juden is using Elemental Magic, a reference to the Elemental Heroes from Yugioh GX, Zvuk fighting extremely well against Mimosa and we have the immovable object that is Mars as this Mars is far more powerful than in canon, as fun fact: In this entire scene, Mars hasn't moved a foot.

Next we have Lotus vs Luck, then Asta and Noelle, and I decided to increase the difficulty with Lotus. Why? Because I find him very underrated and the simple fact that he was able to hold off Morris, who was on par with Dante, for 30 minutes with Dorothy, not to mention I like his personality, Magic Attribute and his love of his wife and daughters, which is why he got the attention for this chapter. When I get to the Spade Arc, I plan on Lotus and Dorothy to have a pretty decently long fight with Morris with even creating a Combination Magic. Those two are going to be besties the entire time.

Now for Luck's backstory. Fun Fact: His parent's names are named after the gods of Thunder, Set from Egypt and Astrape from Roman Mythology, and man, that was worse than in canon huh? With an abusive relationship with his dad to an abusive mother. Why? Because I wanted to expand on why his mother acted like that towards Luck, and yeah it is really tragic to write it out. Hope you enjoy it, as the next one is for Mars.

The next chapter will b 3, which will actually be split into 2 v 1s. Can you guess the duo that will take out each of the Shining Generals? However, I need to write for my Vrains and GX stories, so this will take roughly a month to work with. Sorry, but see ya later!
