The class had ended their firing and were now left exhausted, with Isogai panting heavily and Maehara and Okano nursing a sprained wrist and a bad neck.

Koro-sensei's permanent grin stayed fixed in place, closing the roll call book. "All present and accounted for." His face changed to a bright red, with an O in the middle. "Excellent! That makes me very happy."

"He's too fast!" Maehara said out of breath.

"The whole class opened fire and he doesn't even have a scratch." Isogai rubbed the back of his neck and sighed.

"Well, not really." Rio commented while pointing at Nagisa "Nagisa-kun here had shot one of the tentacles of sensei though."

"Hehe, it's just my luck… Really…" The bluenette scratched his head and replied, while looking at his S.A.A.U.S.O gun.

The yellow octopus raised a tentacle "What a shame. None of your bullets hit me today either." He said as he got the attention of the class "Except you, Nagisa-kun. Somehow, you managed to successfully shoot one of my tentacles. Good job."

"Well, I'm just lucky, sensei… But thank you."

"As for the rest of you guys…" Koro-sensei wagged his tentacle while looking at the class with slight mockery "Tactics that rely solely on numbers neglect individual focus, Being in line of sight, muzzle position or finger movement, Each of you was too easy to read. You must be more creative! Otherwise you will never be able to kill me, as I can move at Mach 20, after all."

"One moment!" Maehara stepped forward in indignation. "There's no way you seriously dodged all of those!" He pointed at their teacher accusingly.

"He's got a point." Sugino examines the pink bullet in the light. "I mean, these are just BB pellets. You could have just endured the pain."

"Besides, Nagisa-kun had shot through one of the tentacles, so Maehara-kun's comment about sensei not dodging all of the bullets is true." Rio exclaimed "But I'm curious about how your tentacle could grow back after being shot."

"Nice observation skills there, Nakamura-san." The octopus replied to the blonde girl, extending his tentacle "I will demonstrate to you about my tentacle, but first, can someone lend me a gun, please?"

Okano frowned and handed over her pistol, gasping quietly when the tentacle took the guns.

"I told you, these may be harmless to you, but..."

BANG!

The class watched in surprise as Koro-sensei shot one of his tentacles, causing it to fall and tremble uncontrollably like a fish.

"But they are special Anti-Sensei bullets, developed by the government. If one hits me, it will cut my cells like tofu. They will regenerate a few seconds later, of course. However, what worries me more is that you will gouge out a classmate's eyes… Or take them out of themselves."

The eyes of the students were wider than before, but then Koro-sensei smiled bigger "Therefore, this is a rule: No shooting in the classroom unless you're trying to kill me." Then the teacher raised his tentacles happily "Alright, let's put away our weapons and clean this battleground before starting class!"

The class groaned in disappointment, but they started cleaning the classroom anyway.

Nagisa sighed, putting away his S.A.A.U.S.O. gun, taking a broom from Kayano's hand and starting cleaning the room.

While cleaning, he felt like there was someone glaring at him, with some kind of hatred. Turning around briefly, he saw a pair of ruby red eyes staring at him coldly, coming from a black-haired girl sitting in front of him.

Nagisa just sighed before looking away and continuing his work, not caring about the girl or that matter anymore.

After all, he knew that this girl would never treat him nicely.

Because the girl glaring at him coldly, was the infamous Ice Queen, Kaguya Shinomiya.

And also, Nagisa Shiota's fiancée.

Sighed… This year was gonna be chaotic for him, wasn't it?

Koro-sensei finished writing on the blackboard and looked at the class, pointing at a specific student "Now here's a question. Isogai-kun!"

Isogai looked up in alarm "Y-Yes, sir?"

Suddenly all of Koro-sensei's tentacles were out, but they were multicolored. "Which of these four tentacles is not like the others?"

"Um... The blue one?"

"Correct!" Their teacher beamed bright red again. "The only relative pronoun is 'who', in the blue sentence. A relative pronoun modifies the noun right before it, so the clause-"

Nagisa watched their teacher while his seatmate Kayano stared out of the window.

The bluenette was pretty disgruntled by Koro-sensei competence.

Nagisa had to admit this fact: Koro-sensei is a damn good teacher, no one can deny that.

The octopus sensei continued to speak in the background. " 'Who is standing over there?' describes the 'boy' here. "

While the teacher was teaching class, Kayano glanced over at Nagisa and whispered.

"Hey, Nagisa."

"Hm?" The blue-haired boy looked over his shoulder at her.

"Look." The green-haired girl pointed out of the window "The crescent moon is out in the broad daylight."

Nagisa stared outside at the abnormal moon for a few seconds, before glancing at Shinomiya and her seatmate, Hayasaka, and then looking at the crescent moon once again.

Sighed…

How in the hell did he end up with this mess? From the whole arranged marriage thing to this assassination classroom thing?

Well, to answer this, let's have a flashback, shall we?

Let's go back to three weeks ago.

To be more specific, on the third weekend since the start of Nagisa's third year.

During that time, he was peacefully sleeping in his room.

However, his sleep was not long as his father, Hajime Shiota, entered the room and woke him up.

"Nagisa-kun, wake up."

"Huh? Dad? What's going on?" The bluenette rubbed his eyes "Why did you wake me up?"

"Well, I need you to get up. We have to be somewhere at 12:00 PM."

"12:00 PM? But… It's now early morning… Just 7:00 AM…"

"I know." Hajime answered "I woke you up this early so you'd have time to wake up, have breakfast, and take a shower. By the way, wear formal clothes for today."

Nagisa looked at his father in confusion, but then obeyed his dad's request.

Nagisa then got out of his bed, went to the bathroom to wash his face and brush his teeth, and then went to the dining room for breakfast.

"By the way, where are we going?"

"Huh?" The blue-haired boy was confused "Why me? And why is that?"

"It's not relevant for now." Hajime replied "Anyway, here's your breakfast."

Hajime then passed a plate with a sandwich to Nagisa, who started eating right after receiving the plate. Hours later, Nagisa was dressed formally.

His father told him to get into the car, and they both headed towards Hajime's boss's house.

On the way, Nagisa was wondering why he had to go with his dad, as there was definitely something his father was hiding from him, but for now, he decided to trust him and just look out the window.

A few moments later, the car arrived at the residence in Kyoto. It was an elegant building with tall black gates.

In Nagisa's view, that building was so beautiful.

But what surprised him was the small golden sign, which he was staring at.

On the sign, there were the written words that read: Shinomiya Residence.

Wait, what?

Nagisa blinked his eyes and looked at the sign again.

Shinomiya.

What the hell?

Does Hajime Shiota, Nagisa Shiota's dad, work for the Shinomiya Family?!

The family that was called the heart of Japan?! One of the most powerful families in this country?!

Kidding, right?

This can't be real… How…?

"Father…" The bluenette looked at his dad nervously "Is your boss really-?"

Nagisa's question was cut off as the massive gate opened, allowing both of them to enter.

Upon reaching the doors of the house, they were greeted by several people in servant uniforms. From inside, a man in elegant attire welcomed them and invited them in, while Nagisa and Hajime followed the man inside the house.

As the three entered the main residence and walked down the hallway, Nagisa noticed that the servants were busy. The bluenette looked around and admired the paintings and furniture that adorned the place, while thinking that even if there was something suspicious about his father's actions, the visit was already worth it just to see the entire place.

The three then reached a massive room, and the elegantly dressed man would tell the Shiotas that they would have to wait for Hajime's boss and his daughter, which Hajime and Nagisa nodded.

The elegantly dressed man then left the room. Minutes later, the door was opened.

"I had made you two wait."

An elderly man with silky hair and red eyes entered the room, followed by a young black-haired girl with red eyes, who looked the same age as Nagisa.

The bluenette now widened his eyes in surprise, disbelief and shock, as he realized who the two people in front of him were.

"Good afternoon, Gan'an-sama." Hajime greeted the elderly man while bowing.

"Indeed. Greetings, Hajime-kun." The elderly man greeted him back.

Gan'an Shinomiya, the head of the Shinomiya family, who was also one of the most powerful people in Japan.

And also, Hajime's boss.

Nagisa couldn't believe this was real. His dad's boss was Gan'an Shinomiya?!

Seriously?!

For real?!

The blue-haired boy would then look at the black-haired girl, who was asked by Gan'an to introduce herself to the guests.

"Greetings, I'm Kaguya Shinomiya. Nice to meet you."

Nagisa had heard about this girl and her reputation so many times, as she was really famous.

The President of Shuchiin Academy's Student Council, one of the best geniuses in Japan, and the infamous Ice Queen.

And here she was, inside this room, standing before Nagisa in the flesh and blood, looking at him coldly. Her expression showed annoyance and a bit of boredom.

Nagisa nervously greeted the two Shinomiyas in front of him.

"Um… My name is Nagisa Shiota. Nice to meet you, Shinomiya-san."

The girl would only nod in annoyance.

"Well, Nagisa-kun, now that you've met my daughter, Kaguya, I will get down to this business quickly."

Gan'an looked at the bluenette before continuing his announcement.

"I am pleased to inform you that from now on, your engagement with my daughter has been accepted."

Wait, what?

What did he say?

Engagement?

"Huh, engaged?" Nagisa asked in confusion "... As in… Marriage?"

"That's correct."

Okay, so now, he was getting engaged with his daughter.

Nagisa looked at his father blankly, who only tapped himself on the head in a comical manner, as if saying "Oops, I forgot." to him.

The bluenette would then realize the reason they came to this place was to meet his father's boss and his daughter. However, he had forgotten to mention a tiny but important detail: That girl was going to be his wife from that day forward.

"This wasn't funny at all, dad! I was screwed!" was what Nagisa thought.

"I will say it one final time: I'm going to get Kaguya and Nagisa engaged, I won't accept any objections. Is that okay?"

"Um… Can I ask you one question?"

"Hm? What is it, Nagisa?"

"Why me?"

The question was short, but it kinda made sense.

If you want to solidify the Shinomiya Group, you could be the son of a famous overseas company. If you want to solidify it from the inside, you could choose a son of another executive other than the father of the executive.

Meanwhile, Nagisa was the complete opposite, as he was nothing special.

But that was not all the problems Nagisa Shiota had at the moment.

Sure, his engagement with Kaguya Shinomiya was what he thought, the only problem he had so far. And the Moon being destroyed wasn't his problem at all.

But having a mysterious creature that looked like a yellow octopus as your homeroom teacher?

Mimura raised his hand nervously "Um... What's the deal? Is he an alien invader or something?" The yellow-haired boy was trying to smile but it didn't hide his wariness or the fact he was sweating.

The creature flayed his tentacles in outrage "How rude! I'll have you know I was born and raised on Earth!"

This just made the class look even more confused.

Was he serious?

Karasuma sighed "I'm afraid I can't discuss the details, but he is telling the truth and like he said, he won't stop at the Moon… Next year he will destroy the Earth too."

Everyone watched in surprise as the agent continued.

"Only the leaders of the world know about this. If the news of this guy is out there, we'd be looking at a global panic. That's why we have to kill him in secret before that happens."

Karasuma withdrew a green knife from his pocket.

"In other words: An assassination."

The agent tried to stab the octopus but he dodged it

"But here's the catch."

Karasuma lunged at him in a tackle but the creature continued dodging

"His speed is unmatched! You try to kill him-" Karasuma growled as the octopus groomed his hair and eyebrows "-and he ends up grooming your eyebrows instead, immaculately and flawlessly!"

Once he finished, he looked at the amazed class "He is a super being with enough power to reduce the full moon to a crescent since his speed reaches a maximum of Mach 20… In short, if he wanted to get away from us, we couldn't do anything to stop him."

Smiling in amusement, the octopus put away the grooming tools in a small pocket-sized container and exclaimed gleefully "But where's the fun in that? So I decided to make an offer to your government. They will refrain from making an attempt on my life and in exchange, I will teach Class 3-E at Kunigigaoka High School."

Nagisa's eyes twitched.

What? Why?

Karasuma crossed his arms "We don't know what he's after, but we had no choice but to accept, on the condition that he doesn't hurt or harm any of you students."

He narrowed his eyes coldly while looking at each of the students "We have several reasons for this. Firstly, if he comes to a classroom every day to teach, we can keep an eye on him." His face became serious "And secondly, it gives a large number of people the opportunity to kill him from an extremely close range..."

BANG!

Coming out of his thoughts, Nagisa looked up and saw his friend Rio standing up and trying to shoot Koro-sensei but he caught the bullet with two pieces of chalk.

"Nakamura-san! Didn't I tell you not to let assassination interfere with your studies?" His face grew bright red as steam came out of his ears.

Rio sighed, rubbing the back of her neck "Sorry..."

Their teacher pointed to the back of the room while scolding her like a father scolded her rebellious daughter "Stand at the back for the rest of this lesson and think about what you've done!"

Nagisa rested his chin in his hand as he stared ahead.

"How stupid." He could hear Shinomiya murmuring as the black-haired girl looked at Rio coldly.

Seeing her attitude, Nagisa frowned again.

How could the government and the school make this creature their teacher? And why are they making Class 3-E assassinate him?

Another memory came to his mind.

Oh, right, he remembered why they accepted this job.

"Your success will be rewarded with ten billion yen." Karasuma stated bluntly.

"WHAT!"

The whole class was now speechless.

The agent shrugged his shoulders as if ten thousand yen was no big deal, just a pocket change "Fair enough. If you can kill him, you will be the savior of the Earth. Fortunately, he doesn't think much of you."

"And why should I?" The octopus asked happily "If the government can't kill me, then how could you? Even when you sent your new fighter plane after me, all you got was a good shave right there in the air."

Karasuma then raised a green knife "Therefore, while this guy looks down on you, your job is to find an opening in his defenses and attack it. We will provide you all with weapons and ammunition that will not harm humans but will work on him."

The class shared worried glances with each other.

Karasuma's face became more serious "You must keep this a secret from your friends and family. There is no time to waste, if the Earth is destroyed, we will have nowhere left to run and that would be that."

The octopus looked excited "Well then I hope you-"

Suddenly, Kayano raised her hand.

"Excuse me, "Sensei"..." The greenette asked the octopus "If you're our teacher from now on, then what should we call you? And do you even have a name though?"

"My name?"

"She's right." Kanzaki commented "It's strange just calling you octopus or teacher."

Sugino nodded "True, you never told us what your name was."

The octopus scratched his head "Well... I don't really have a name, so, go ahead and give me one."

Nagisa touched his chin while thinking.

"An unkillable teacher… Korosensei… Koro..." He murmured to himself, and then clicked his fingers in realization "What about Koro-sensei?"

"Huh? Koro-sensei?" Kayano repeated.

The octopus looked up and became animated "Huh?"

"How about we call him Koro-sensei? Does anyone agree with that?" Nagisa asked the class.

"Koro-sensei..." Kurahashi murmured before nodding "I like it! Let's go with that name then!"

"Agree!" Kayano said cheerfully.

"Well then, it's settled!" The now called Koro-sensei looked almost excited as he rubbed his tentacles together eagerly "From now on, I'm your homeroom teacher, Koro-sensei. And I hope you'll make the most of your one remaining year you have left, nurufufufufufu!"

Back to the present, Koro-sensei wrote on the backboard while the rest of the class studied silently.

"We only have one year. If we can't assassinate him by then, the Earth will be history."

Nagisa looked at the teacher before looking at a certain fiancée of his while contemplating.

"And I will have to survive and deal with that cold woman in this class for this year…"

The blue-haired boy then returned to his schoolwork, without knowing what would happen to him next today.
