Hello, everyone in DeviantART, , Wattpad, and Archive Of Our Own! PHANTOMKNIGHTMARE47 here, with the third chapter of Kamen Rider Nocturnyte. In this chapter, Kazuki/Nocturnyte encounters the enforcer for Shin-Shocker, Takayuki Tsukimura, AKA Shadow-Moon, who tests his strength in a fight. Afterwards, Kazuki decides to train in order to get stronger. Meanwhile, Shin-Shocker sends in a Cobra Altered, who has the power to melt people down with acidic venom. And in the fight, Kazuki learns one hard truth: sometimes, heroes can't always save everyone. Can Nocturnyte be able to stop the Cobra Altered, and save those in need? Find out, in this newest chapter of KAMEN RIDER NOCTURNYTE!

It shows Kazuki riding the Nyte-Streaker throughout the streets of Winter Bluffs, until he suddenly looked to see an unknown figure driving up to him, so Kazuki stopped his bike.
"Who are you?" said Kazuki, stunned to see this new arrival.
"I am one of Shin-Shocker's enforcers. My name is Takayuki Tsukimura." said the young man, sounding like Yoshikage Kira. "And I am the new Shadow-Moon."
In a flash of green light, Takayuki then transformed into his Shadow-Moon armor, which was red instead of silver.
Kazuki then did the same movements as Kohtaro Minami did to become BLACK crossed with BLACK-RX's transformation poses. "HENSHIN!" said Kazuki, as he then transformed. There was flashing lights as Kazuki transformed into what appeared to be a humanoid Rocky Mountain locust, which was an extinct species of grasshopper, before changing into Rider Form. His armor looked to be made of a hardened exoskeleton. His armor was a merger between BLACK Sun and Shin, with the helmet being a merger between BLACK Sun and Shadow Moon. His armor was colored and patterned similar to Creation King BLACK Sun. Unlike BLACK Sun and Shadow Moon, he lacked the grasshopper legs on his back. His optics were neon green in color. His belt resembled the Meta Factor worn by Kamen Rider Gills, but silver in color.
"I am the prince of the shadows, Kamen Rider….NOCTURNYTE!" said Nocturnyte, as he posed. Shadow Moon then unsheathed his Satan Saber.
"Now…..KAKATTE KOI!" Shadow Moon bellowed, as Nocturnyte then charged at the Kamen Rider-like villain.
(Opening Song: "Hekireki" by Last Alliance Plays)
[Instrumental] it shows the various Kamen Riders of the Showa, Heisei, and Reiwa eras, as Kazuki rests on a hill, until he then gets to his feet and starts running, and the logo for "Kamen Rider Nocturnyte" appears.
[CLEAN EYES ni utsuru henka no nai robou no ue] It shows Kazuki helping out at his family's local supermarket, as well as doing track-and-field, before visiting his parents' grave
[Hashirinukeru mahha gojuu no yume] It shows Kazuki's friends: Shinji Higurashi, Naoto Segawa, Brenda Tezuka, Kenji Takahashi, and Fukuo Matsuoka
[Tsumujikaze ga tekubi ni karamitsuki] It shows various other denizens of Winter Bluffs from the business district and beyond
[Kinou no boku kara kuratta kizu ni chikau] It shows Kazuki's siblings, Rentaro and Haruka, as well as his grandfather, Chojiro, his grandmother, Amane, his aunt Yuriko, his uncle Toshiro, and his cousins
[Aoi sora wa haiiro ni tsutsumare] It shows Kazuki helping people out, until he turns to face someone.
[Machiwabita kono kaze ga kata naderu] It shows the home-base for the terrorist group, Shin-Shocker, and their various monsters.
[Ryou no te ni nigiritsuzuketekita] It shows the Great Leader of Shin-Shocker, Ambassador Chaos, as well as his generals Col. Ivankov, a Russian soldier who becomes a Rhinoceros Altered, Gen. Schmidt, a German soldier who becomes a Dire Wolf Altered, and Shinigami-hakase XVI, AKA Shin Ika-Devil
["seiten no hekireki" to iu nihiru na kibou] It then cuts to the resident swordsman of Shin-Shocker, Nobuhiko Tsukimura, who transforms into Shadow-Moon at will, but his armor is crimson red.
[Hashiritsuzukeru ashi o tome] It shows the Shin-Shocker Combatmen causing problems in the business district of Winter Bluffs, until Kazuki arrives on his bike and fights them off.
[Uchitsuzukeru kobushi o hiraita] Kazuki then looked to see an unknown Altered, and enters a fighting-stance
[Te no hira ni kizanda] Kazuki then does the same movements that Kohtaro Minami does to become Kamen Rider BLACK mixed with his BLACK-RX movements, and says "Henshin!"
[Kyou ni tadoritsuku tame no ippo] There were flashing lights as Kazuki briefly becomes a grasshopper monster before becoming Kamen Rider Nocturnyte.
[Asu wa asu no kaze ga fuku sa to] Nocturnyte is seen fighting against the Shin-Shocker Combatmen in hand-to-hand combat, and even knocks one to the ground with a leg-sweep
[Tasogare sora de namida koraete] Nocturnyte then fights against Shadow-Moon, trading blows with the Rider-like villain, and countering his attacks with his own.
[Yagate otona ni naru bokura e] Nocturnyte then does his Rider Kick on an Altered, destroying it in one hit.
[Seiten no HEKIREKI] Nocturnyte then drives off on his motorcycle.

Chapter 3: The Sinister Serpent!
Nocturnyte then fought against Shadow-Moon, trading blows with the armored villain, who countered with his Satan Saber. Nocturnyte then threw a punch at the red-armored Kamen Rider-like villain.
"Never been hit by someone your own size before? You need to turn with the punch to reduce damage." said Nocturnyte, as he was using Shaolin kung-fu. He then focused green-colored energy into his fist "RIDER PUNCH!" Nocturnyte bellowed, as he then cracked Shadow-Moon in the jaw.
"My turn." said Shadow Moon, as he then stabbed the Satan Saber into the ground, with both of his boots glowing emerald green. "SHADOW KICK!" he roared, as he did a flying drop-kick. Nocturnyte blocked the kick, but was sent skidding back.
"Not bad, for someone who's green as grass," said Shadow-Moon. "I already have the information I need." he then climbed into his Road Sector. "We'll meet again, Nocturnyte. Next time, you won't be as lucky." with that, he drove off.
'Who even was that guy?' Nocturnyte wondered, as he then climbed onto his bike, and drove off.
Later, at the Shin-Shocker base of operations, we turn to see what appears to be a bio-mechanical humanoid spitting cobra with an olive-green and brown color-scheme.
"Behold, the Cobra Altered." said the lead scientist of Shin-Shocker, Professor Shinigami. "The Cobra Altered possesses incredible flexibility, and a corrosive venom."
"Excellent." said the Great Leader of Shin-Shocker, as he chuckled darkly. "Shadow Moon, have you collected your data on Kamen Rider Nocturnyte?"
"Yes, Great Leader. He shows potential to be a great threat in the near-future." said Takayuki, confirming this.
"Cobra Altered, your mission is to attack the city of Winter Bluffs. If Kamen Rider Nocturnyte interferes, eliminate him." said the Great Leader.
"As you command, Great Leader." said the Cobra Altered, doing a Nazi salute. With him were some Shin-Shocker Combatmen.
(Author's Note: The Shin-Shocker Combatmen are based off of the Giff Juniors from Kamen Rider Revice, but completely covered in skeleton-based armor.)
Later, it shows Kazuki having come home from school, with a passing grade on his history exam.
"That's amazing news, Kazuki!" said Kazuki's uncle, Toshiro, as he faced his nephew with a smile.
"You get to pick dinner tonight." said Masaki, who was Kazuki's grandmother, offering to let Kazuki pick dinner for the night.
"Personally, nothing's better than your cooking, Baa-chan." said Kazuki, admitting that he loves his grandmother's cooking.
"Police reports of there being what appears to be a humanoid Spitting Cobra causing mayhem in the business district. It appears to be spewing globs of venom that can dissolve anything it comes into contact with into absolutely nothing." said a news reporter.
"Dinner will have to wait. For now, you need to stop that monster!" said Kazuki's aunt, Kiyoko.
"On it." said Kazuki. He then headed to the garage, and opened it, before hopping onto his bike and driving off.
Later, it shows the Cobra Altered causing mayhem at the local shopping district, with some Shin-Shocker Combatmen causing mass-mayhem, terrorizing people.
"HOLD IT RIGHT THERE, JACKASS!" snarled a voice, as Kazuki arrived and slammed the front wheel of his bike into the monster.
"What…the Hell!?" The Cobra Altered got out, as he got to his feet. Kazuki then dismounted from his motorcycle. He then did Kohtaro Minami's transformation poses as BLACK and BLACK-RX. "Hen….SHIN!"
There was a strobe-light effect as Kazuki briefly transformed into a humanoid Rocky Mountain Locust, before changing into his Rider Form. His armor was a merger between BLACK Sun and Shin, with his helmet being a merger between BLACK Sun and ShadowMoon. His armor was colored and patterned like Creation King BLACK Sun, and his belt resembled the Meta Factor worn by Gills. Unlike BLACK Sun and ShadowMoon though, he lacked the grasshopper legs on his back.
"I am the prince of the darkness, KAMEN RIDER NOCTURNYTE!" said Nocturnyte, posing.
"Don't just stand there! KILL HIM!" said the Cobra Altered, as the Shin-Shocker Combatmen all rushed Nocturnyte, as the Rider then thrashed and bashed them with his bare fists, using punches, kicks and chops, as he put each and every one of them out of commission for good, by breaking their necks, crushing their skulls, tearing off limbs, etc.
"Now it's just you and me, you blood-traitor!" said the Cobra Altered, as he then fought against Nocturnyte in hand-to-hand combat. Suddenly, there was gunshots as the Cobra Altered was shot five times in the back by a cop.
"Need a hand?" said the cop. He had a clean-shaven face and full-moon glasses. This was Officer Tanaka.
"Damned cop! DON'T FUCKING INTERFERE!" said the Cobra Altered as he then spewed a glob of acid at Officer Tanaka. And…it was a direct hit. The officer was dissolved to a paste, bones and all.
"NOOOOOOO!" Nocturnyte screamed, shocked and horrified by the fact that the Cobra Altered murdered someone right in front of him.
"You should know by now that heroes such as yourself can't always be there to save everyone!" said the Cobra Altered. "Here, this is the real world, where evil wins over good, dreams were never meant to come true, and the only way to get far in life is to use, abuse, lie, cheat, steal and survive!"
Nocturnyte was automatically triggered. He had had enough.
"SHUT YOUR FUCKING GODDAMN MOUTH RIGHT FUCKING NOW YOU PIECE OF SHIT COCKSUCKING BASTAAAAAAAAARRRRRDDDDD!" Nocturnyte bellowed, as he then punched the Cobra Altered square in the stomach. The punch was so vicious, that the snake monster coughed up blood.
"You should know by now that there are some lines that you of all people should never cross!" said Nocturnyte. "And what you just did right now, WAS ONE OF THEM!" He then began violently thrashing the Cobra Altered with his bare fists. The snake monster felt his bones crack and shatter with every punch that Nocturnyte landed.
Nocturnyte then punched a hole through the monster's torso, and began to slowly pull out a handful of the Cobra Altered's intestines. The Cobra Altered then dropped to his knees and violently started spitting blood instead of venom. Nocturnyte then dropped the handful of guts, and then focused green colored energy into his hand.
"RIDER CHOP!" Nocturnyte bellowed, as he then split the Cobra Altered's head in half with a vertical knife-hand chop, crushing the monster's skull. The Cobra Altered then dissolved into mush, bones and all.
Nocturnyte then walked towards what was left of Officer Tanaka's body, and picked up his hat.
'Dammit…! First, I couldn't save Professor Serizawa…and now…I couldn't even save an officer who tried to help…! Just…just what kind of hero even am I, anyways!?' Nocturnyte thought, as he sobbed. Suddenly, tear-lines appeared below his optics, becoming part of his armor permanently.
"Nocturnyte, was it?" said one of the officers. "I understand what it's like. I once was unable to save my only sister from her abusive boyfriend, and that monster had beaten her to death. Heroes can't always be there to save everyone. I guess we both learned that the hard way."
"Yeah. I guess we did." said Nocturnyte, admitting this.
Later, it showed the Great Leader of Shin-Shocker witnessing this from his crystal ball.
"This was…unprecedented," said the Great Leader.
"But, our latest monster managed to prove to Nocturnyte that he can't always be there to save those in need." said Heinkel.
"Even though we lost, Nocturnyte managed to obtain a bittersweet victory." said Sergei.
"Yes." said Takayuki, confirming this.
Later, it shows Kazuki in his room, with his eyes puffy from crying.
"Kazuki. I heard the news." said Kazuki's cousin, Keisuke. Keisuke had black hair and indigo-blue eyes. "I'm…I'm really sorry to hear what happened."
"It…it should've been ME, dammit!" said Kazuki. "I…I should have done something so that Officer Tanaka would still be alive!"
"Kazuki. You can't always continue blaming yourself for what happened." said Kazuki's grandfather, Naofumi. "You can't always save everyone."
"C'mon, cuz. Let's go get something in your stomach." said Keisuke. "Maybe some ice cream?"
"Yeah. I…I guess that I could go for something sweet." said Kazuki, as he followed his grandfather and cousin.

Next time, on Kamen Rider Nocturnyte, Kazuki is given a secondary Rider Machine in the form of the Nocturna Chaser, a car as a gift from an unknown ally. However, he gets news that an Altered based off of a mosquito has been draining cattle dry of their blood. Can Kazuki/Nocturnyte put this vile mosquito in the ground?
