AN : Hello dear readers,

Yes, I know, I haven't updated in forever but life has been crazy these past few months.

Here's an update to thank you for your support.

Love,

N.

It was already late in the afternoon and the whole 1A class was in the living room, watching the large TV screen intently. Well, almost the whole class.

An important attack was happening downtown and it was right in Ryukyuu's sector, which meant that both Uraraka and Tsuyu were on site too.

One television crew was on the ground, trying not to get crushed by flying rubbles and another one was in a chopper, flying in circles above the scene and they could see their classmates doing their best to keep civilians safe all the while fighting against the villains.

The view was darkened by the countless pieces of rubble Uraraka floated so they wouldn't crush people.

When one of the villain grabbed Tsuyu's hair, the class stopped breathing. They saw her struggling, pulling to get free and kicking the tall, tall man. They also saw Uraraka grabbing a fallen street lamp and swinging it right into the man's guts. His hold on Tsuyu vanished and the girl hopped away, using her tongue to tie him tightly.

With a nod at her friend, Uraraka ran back to the main scene to support both Ryukyuu and Nejire. She used the floating rubbles as platforms, jumping from one to the other to get higher, playing with her own weight. One of their opponents' quirk made him fly and she wanted to be on the same ground as him while her mentor was in the street below.

She swung her street lamp again, narrowly missing him. Something hit the piece of rubble she was standing on, making her stumble. But she never left her target out of her sight. She was quick to attack again, engaging him in close combat. She was fierce and her training with Gunhead was showing. She also trained often with Kirishima and Bakugou. She was learning a lot with them and, even if Kirishima was sometimes a bit too careful, Bakugou always went all out.

She grabbed him in a headlock and swiped his feet from under himself. She made him weightless and used her grappling iron to tie him up and lowered him so Nejire could take care of him.

From up there, she checked on the surroundings. She counted the number of villains and frowned. One was definitely missing. She brought her hand to her earpiece to warn the others when something coming from above her collided with her body. She was sent spiralling into a nearby building, crashing into its wall.

Class 1A let out a collective gasp. Izuku was clutching Iida's arm so tight, the class representative was sure he'd have a bruise. But he didn't care, not when his friend was in peril and he couldn't do anything.

Kirishima was half-hidden behind Bakugou, mumbling about how he didn't want to look but couldn't tear his eyes away from the screen. Bakugou let small explosions off in his palms to release his own frustration.

Mina was clutching Momo and Jirou's hands, and Hagakure was grasping her upper arm.

Tokoyami and Todoroki looked at the screen blankly but their classmates knew they were just as worried as the rest of them.

Even Sato had stopped munching on his cookie, Aoyama's eyes weren't sparkling but dull, Kaminari looked as if he had short-circuited and Koda wasn't petting his rabbit anymore. Shoji's eyes were closed but one more had popped on his arm, focused on the TV.

Ojiro was clutching a pillow against his chest and Sero was numbly wrapping Mineta with his tape as a stress reliever.

Even Aizawa was there and he was trying very hard not to crush the armrest of the couch he was gripping. If anyone asked him, he would deny, but he was painfully aware that his students, no matter how strong and heroic they were, were still kids.

They all sighed in relief when she appeared on the TV screen again, stumbling and wiping the blood that was dripping from the corner of her mouth.

A shadow appeared above her and she jumped out of the way just in time to avoid a sharp piece of concrete that had been thrown her way. She used the wall behind her to push on her legs and propelled herself into the villain. Her shoulder crashed into his stomach, sending him off-balance and he fell on a bit of concrete under them.

She jumped on him, landing harshly on his back and twisting one of his arms in a painful way.

He was clearly struggling but being weightless seemed to be enough to make him dizzy.

She was impressive : fast, quiet and precise. No useless move. All the class was admiring her actions and reactions. She ignored the blood that was dripping from her mouth, focusing on the man under herself.

Ryukyuu appeared next to her and used her claws to grab the man. She flew back to the ground quickly to hand him to the police.

Slowly, Uraraka used the propulsor on her wrists to lower herself too.

Unbeknownst to her, her classmates and teacher all breathed deep, relief flooding over them, when she finally landed.

Tsuyu was by her side in an instant. Her face was grim and her costume had been ripped in a few places but otherwise, she was fine. Her eyes grew wide when Ochaco smiled at her, blood covering her teeth and lips, but before she could say anything, Nejire was there with a First-Aid Kit.

The UA girls were soon escorted by Ryuukyuu to one of the ambulances to make sure they were alright and could go back to the office to take a shower and change before they could go back to their dorms.

Uraraka's state wasn't as serious as it looked and even if she knew she'd be covered in bruises for a few days, she was alright and satisfied they had been able to stop the attack.

Less than two hours later, Uraraka and Tsuyu entered the dorm. Professor Aizawa had met them at the gates to make sure the two of them were fine and was already retreating to his own quarters. They hadn't even taken off their shoes when their classmates ran to them. They were hugged and kissed and pulled from side to side, laughing and smiling to reassure their friends.

Even Bakugou - even though he was grumpy because it's so late already, why do I need to be there ? - was there, watching them from the corner of the room until Kirishima pulled him towards the large group. The red-haired boy elbowed his friend who rolled his eyes dramatically before saying :

"You did well."

Tsuyu nodded, stunned that Bakugou voluntarily acknowledged them. Next to her, Uraraka smiled brightly.

"Thank you ! I could tell that our sparring sessions were of help. I'm not sure I'd be in top shape to keep going for the next few days though." She grimaced and scratched the back of her head bashfully.

"Why that ?" His question surprised everyone but no one commented. It was so rare to see Bakugou talking to anyone other than Kirishima and Midoriya, and still, he was usually cursing.

"I can already feel the bruises forming on my entire body, I'm not sure I'll be able to keep up with you." She pouted, ashamed that she had to admit aloud and in public.

"And what ?" Bakugou scoffed. "A hero can do it. I know for sure you'll be able to keep up." And without another glance, he strolled up to the elevator, ready to go to bed.

"What was that ?" Hagakure asked quietly and Mina shrugged, too used to the boy's antics.

"Well, we're all glad you're both fine." Iida announced loudly and everyone turned to face him. "I'm sure you're tired, so I suggest we leave you be so you can rest. You'll tell us everything tomorrow."

"Iida-san is right." Momo smiled sweetly and slowly everyone bid them goodnight.

Tsuyu and Uraraka were grateful for the rest and dragged themselves slowly to the elevator.

They were quiet until they walked their separate way. Uraraka waved her friend goodbye when she left the elevator with a smile.

They knew they were going to sleep soundly the second their head would touch the pillow.

Bonus :

A deep voice startled Uraraka when she turned towards her room. Bakugou was next to her in a second.

"Here." He pushed something into her hands. A bottle and a tube of something. "Rub that on your skin to lessen the bruises and drink this if they're too painful."

Without a glance, he turned away to walk back to his room but she grabbed his wrist.

"Thank you, Bakugou-kun." Her smile was soft and tired and, surprisingly, a small smile appeared on his face too. If she was surprised she showed nothing.

"That move you used on me last week. The headlock thing." He started and when she nodded he continued, "We should work on it a little more. It has improved but it can be perfected. The same goes about your reflexes, you can sharpen them even more." His eyes were glinting with challenge and she smirked.

"I guess we can work on that tomorrow during our sparring session then." She winked at him and turned quickly before he could notice how red her cheeks were because of his words. Bakugou never praised anyone but himself.

"Yeah, we can do that." He huffed and turned his back to her too. "Rest now, you'll need it if you want to at least touch me tomorrow."

He had disappeared behind the corner of the hallway before she could protest.

She went to bed with a smile that night. She was proud of her work as a hero with Ryuukyuu and she was happy Bakugou seemed to finally acknowledge her worth. Or, at least, to admit he viewed her as a worthy opponent out loud.

Despite the excitement she was feeling, she fell asleep barely ten seconds after lying in bed, the day's weariness vanishing from her mind.
