Wrapping his arm around her shoulders, his free hand taking the hand closest to him, Jax slowly walked with Tara. Bobby gently held her other hand walking next to her as well. Opie followed closely behind them in case she needed support.

Her feet slowly shuffled over the dirt and gravel of the driveway. She had to find her confidence. She couldn't let Kohn see her like this. See her weak. As she looked towards the barn, the classic riffs from Metallica blasting through the air, a soft light glowing around the edges of the giant wooden door, she knew what she had to do. Her body aching, her head hurting mildly, she pulled her shoulders back straight, and lifted her head up.

She would not let him, 'them', win. Not when she had a family waiting for her. Not with her protective, loving husband standing right next to her. Not with a family, of her own choosing, surrounding her.

She just needed to calm her mind down for a minute. She remembered, and still smelling, the weed on Jax. She couldn't smoke any right now, because she planned on breast feeding their daughter. She pulled her arm away from Bobby, swinging it around to grab ahold of Jax's hoodie, "Woah babe, are you ….."

Fisting the material in her hand, she tilted her face up towards his, and yanked to pull him down to her. Her slightly dry lips smashed against his, her lips and tongue demanding him to allow her access. She needed to at least taste the weed from his mouth to relax her a bit. Obediently he answered her unspoken demand, by stopping, moving his hands to cup her jaw delicately, tilting his head to the side and plunging his tongue into her demanding mouth.

After a few awkward minutes for Bobby and Opie, Opie cleared his throat before saying, "I don't mean to break up this beautiful reunion but…" he gestured towards the barn.

Reluctantly pulling away from her, his hands dropped from her jaw to rest on the area between her neck and shoulders, his forehead resting against hers, nose flaring and jaw clenching in restrained passion, "That son of a bitch can choke on his own God damn tongue for all I give a shit. My old lady wants to kiss me, that shits gonna happen," he growled out to Opie. "Jesus Christ babe, give a guy a little warning, would ya?" his cheek lifting up in a smirk.

"Sorry, I was just trying to cop a residual buzz," she admitted to him, smiling softly. She broke the grip on his hoodie, and ran a finger along his bearded face, he moved his face slightly so he could gently kiss her finger. "Trying to calm my nerves…."

"I hear ya brother," Opie replied easily, blowing smoke out of his nose as he spoke, cigarette pinched between his fingers, "but isn't it time to put this drama to bed?" looking off in the direction of the barn. "Besides, I think Happy needs a pussy break."

Only three people who grew up together, knowing each other so well, could have two different conversations going on at the same time.

"Op…." Tara cringed at the thought of whatever nasty piece of Redwoody or Diosa ass Happy would fuck that night. And where for that matter.

"Well it's true…. He's been more irritable than normal lately. Probably has something to do with babysitting this piece of shit for nearly two weeks without being able to hurt him," Opie shook his head.

Jax couldn't help but chuckle because he knew Opie was right. It had taken the club at least a week to track Kohn down.

Jax had followed Tara as far as the emergency workers would allow. He ran quickly next to her, holding her hand as she went in for an emergency cesarean, to try to save the life that was inside of her.

"I'm sorry Mr. Teller, but this is as far as we can allow you to go," one of the on call nurses stopped him at the operating room double doors. "We work with Dr. Knowles, Mr. Teller. We will do everything we can to save her and your child's life."

Sucking in a deep breath, he kissed her face several times, "I love you babe. Stay with me, come back to me and our family, " he whispered, as he kissed her forehead and hands before releasing them.

Slowly he walked down the hall to the waiting area, where the club member littered the chairs.

He looked up at them, and bit back a sob, "What am I going to do if I lose her?"

"You can't think like that Jackie," Chibbs scolded him.

"Doc's a fighter brother," Bobby encouraged, "She's gonna make it through. Who else is gonna sew my shoulder up when I get shot in it again?" he joked.

"Doc's got this in the bag," Tig chimed in.

"Is there anything we can do brother?" Opie asked, laying a comforting hand on his shoulder.

Thinking for a minute, he nodded his head in affirmative. Gesturing for Opie to come closer to him, he laid his hand on his shoulder to encourage him to come even close, "In the car, she was scared, said she saw Kohn. You find that son of a bitch…"

"On it…" Opie replied immediately, making an about face striding out of the hospital with purpose. Happy, Tig, and Chibbs hot on his heels.
