They let me go after I told them my sob story and wanted to help them. Humans can be so naive. I cannot believe they let me go that easily. Though, I do believe that the ripper had different motives. If they talked to Katherine, they know what Klaus needs. A vampire, witch, doppelgänger, werewolf and moonstone.

I have a feeling that the vampire, witch, and werewolf are the doppelgangers' friends. Niklaus would never sacrifice the ripper, as he could be useful to him. The brother? Stefan would never work for Niklaus if he killed him. So that leaves Caroline. The witch is obviously Bonnie. I'm taking a leap of faith to say they have a werewolf as a friend because there is no way Katherine would let herself be caught, unless she got everything that was needed for Niklaus.

What is my biggest issue? Whether the doppelgänger is aware that she is not the only sacrifice, but her friends are. If that is why they decided to "accept" me into their group. And that if worse comes to worst, they believe they can use me as the witch sacrifice. Though if I remember correctly, Nik doesn't need to sacrifice the witch; he just needs a witch to conduct the spell. They don't need to know that.

It doesn't matter though. I'm in their group. Bonnie told me she'd show me around, as she's the only one who trusts me at the moment. Damon semi-trusts me, and Elena only trusts me because she doesn't want to be sacrificed. Stefan is still a long way off from ever trusting me. He reminds me of my brother, but Klaus's paranoia comes from centuries of betrayal. I wonder where Stefan's paranoia comes from.

Anyway, once I was let go, Bonnie had to go out with the doppleganger's brother. Stefan took Elena home after she was stressed about what she and Katherine were talking about. This left me and Damon.

"So this is el casa de Salvatore?" I ask walking around the Salvatore house with Damon. Apparently, I was just being held in their cellar right downstairs.

"Yes, it has been in the family for years." Damon stated.

"I thought you just came to town. How long have you been in this city?" I asked. We walked towards the lounge area.

"We did. I may have killed the original owner of this house, my uncle." Damon says as he pours himself a glass of bourbon and I look at him surprised. "Want one?"

I nod my head cautiously and he pours me a glass. "So, why don't you tell me more about this Klaus?" I say, trying to change the subject. He hands me the bourbon and sits in the chair, while I sit on the couch.

"Your guess is as good as mine." Damon said, sipping his bourbon. "We didn't even know he existed, until this morning."

"Well, who is he?" I asked, pretending not to know.

"One of the original vampires. Heard he is the most terrifying, but I won't believe it until I see it." Damon says, sipping his bourbon.

"You don't believe it? Shouldn't you be scared of the first vampires to ever exist? I mean they must be very strong." I stated, a little surprised that he wasn't scared.

"Nope. Especially since I just went against an original yesterday and killed him." He states proudly. Elijah. Wait they think they killed him? Well, this is going to be interesting.

"Really?" I act surprised.

"Yep, I just put a wooden coat rack through his heart. And for a so-called original, he wasn't that strong."

I was about to say something when a woman walked in and interrupted me. "Maybe because he isn't dead." A woman stated, and Damon rolled his eyes. I turned around to see a face I swore I had seen before.

"And who is this?" She asked, pointing to me.

"This is Kalle. Kalle is a strong witch who is going to help us take down Klaus. Kalle, this is Rose. A women who supposedly knows all about the originals and used to be a servant for Elijah." Damon states introducing the both of us.

Oh Rose. The woman who helped Katerina become a vampire and whom Elijah told me about. I remember seeing her face once when I went to help Nik and Elijah 500 years ago.

"Hi. It's nice to meet you." I extend my hand to shake hers. She looks at me like she's seen my face before.

"Um? Are you okay?" I tried to get her to talk so she wouldn't say something she would regret.

"Sorry, you look so familiar." She says, still looking at me suspiciously. I was about to come up with an excuse, but then Damon said something.

"Didn't you say that Katherine knew like her descendant or something. Kallandra?" Of course she mentioned me.

"I mean yeah, but your faces look identical. Almost like twins. I feel like I saw you around the same time I first met Elijah." This girl better not be a problem. It's way too early for them to know who I am. "What did you say your last name was again?"

Oh, I forgot to come up with a last name. Um... think. "Oh, Valentina. Kalle Valentina." I state, lying.

"Well, I guess it's nice to meet you." Rose finally shook my head. "If you are as powerful as Damon says, then we really need your help. Because Klaus might be here already." No way Nik? There's no way he is here; I would have sensed him.

"We don't know if what happened today was Klaus." Damon says, but this time he's not being as cocky as he usually is. He turns around to face the fireplace.

"Then maybe you didn't kill Elijah because he and Klaus are the only two options." Rose states, still scared, but Damon doesn't speak, so she continues. "But I'm sorry about today. I did not know that was going to happen."

"I believe you." Damon states.

"And I'm sorry we couldn't find a way to save Elena. I know that you want to" She says in a quiet tone.

"And I will." Damon stated in a monotone voice. I can feel the tension in the room, and I am starting to feel uncomfortable. I got the message when Rose looked at me with a 'Can you leave us alone?' look.

"Um, sounds like you two have some things to talk about. So I'll leave you two alone and see you tomorrow." I stated and Rose nodded her head.

I leave the house, ready to go home and sleep after this long day, but realize I have no idea where I am.

Great.

The next day, I woke up to a call from Damon saying it was urgent and he needed me to come to his house. I was going to complain about it being so early, but it was noon. To be fair, it took me two hours just to get home from his house, and after my long day yesterday, I needed that sleep. I told him to give me half an hour and I'd be on my way.

When I arrived, Damon, Stefan, Bonnie, and this boy I never met was standing in the lounge area.

"And who is this?" I ask pointing to the boy I never seen before.

"This is Jeremy. Elena's brother." Stefan states.

"This is the witch who can help us?" Jeremy asks. I am just as confused as he is.

"Help you with what?" I ask the group. They look at each other weary to answer the question.

"Remember how you said you would help us with our problem with Klaus?" Damon ask and I nod. "Well here's you chance."

"What are you talking about?" I ask crossing my arms.

"If we can get the moonstone and a witch, we can lift the curse." Stefan states. I look at them confused because even I do not know if this is true. I never truly paid attention to the specifics with this curse on my brother. Only that it could lift his werewolf side. But still, this curse has been on him for 1000 years and it's very likely that what they are stating is just a myth.

"How are you so sure?" I asks curious.

"Rose's friend Slater found it out." Damon states.

"And you just believe him?" I ask skeptical and they all look hopeless to think rationally. So I just go with it for now. "Okay. Say he is telling the truth. What do you need me for? Bonnie is a witch too."

"Well we don't need you for breaking the spell. I need your help to get the moonstone." Bonnie states.

"Why? Where is it?" I ask and they all get a little scared, besides Jeremy.

"Katherine has it." Stefan finally spits out. Hold on. Katherine managed to get everything Nik needs to break his curse? Wow. She would rather create the most powerful being than face Nik. Say what you want about her, but she is a survivor, let me tell you that.

I was confused on why they were scared to tell me this but then I realized my stupid story. They believe I hate Katherine. Unlike my brothers, I don't despise Katherine as much as she believes. I just find it very annoying on how much trouble this girl has caused. Regardless though, I have to keep up the act.

"Absolutely not! You want me to free Katherine?!" I pretending to scream angrily.

"I told you she wouldn't do it." Stefan states.

"Look, we aren't letting her out. Just temporarily opening the tomb so we could get the moonstone." Bonnie states calmly trying to ease the situation.

"Besides little kitty k has been dried out. She doesn't have the energy to use her powers. All we gotta do it hurry in and hurry out." Damon states.

"And if this all goes wrong?" I question. "What if Katherine gets out?"

"Well we will talk about that problem when we get to it." Damon states.

"Look." Stefan states looking like he could care less about how I feel. "We just want to save Elena. You told us you would help solve our problem and this is how we do it."

"If you don't want to help, I can just do it myself like we originally said." Bonnie states determined.

"No. Last time you open the tomb, you and you're grandma did it and it costed her life." Jeremy states worried for Bonnie. This tomb killed her grandmother?

Bonnie faces saddens but she recomposes herself. "I'm aware. But I have gotten stronger and if Kalle doesn't want to help, I have to do something."

"Wait." I state and everyone looks at me. I don't think getting the moonstone will help them but I also know Katherine. If they mess up the slightest, she will escape.

"Do any of you guys have something that belongs to Katherine?" I ask and Damon and Stefan look at each other. I will take that as a yes.

A few moments later, Stefan comes back with a picture of Katherine.

"This belong to Katerina. Found it with her things when I thought she was dead." Stefan says in a monotone voice.

"Let me guess. She played with your heart too?" I asked. Stefan face looks sober and he looks at Damon. Oh Katherine played with both their hearts. And yet they are attracted to the doppelgänger. So much deja vu.

He hands me the picture and I place it in a bowl. After I set the bowl on fire. I tell Bonnie to watch me as I do the spell.

"Take a deep breath, and keep your voice steady. If you ever feel the spell is too draining, take a break. You don't want to pass out or start bleeding, okay?" I tell her and she nods.

Jeremy is sitting behind us while Damon is standing next to Bonnie. Stefan is looking waiting for the spell to work.

I close my eyes and start the spell. "Tero moto vonti." I take a breath. "Oi conti."

"What will this do?" I hear Damon ask.

"She is turning the mental into ash." Bonnie states realizing what I'm doing. "Blowing the ashes on her."

"That's right." I state coming out of my trance. "It will incapacitate her for a minute or two. Making it long enough to get the moonstone and get out. Bonnie can do this spell. It will be less dangerous and won't cost her life." I state confident Bonnie can do the spell and she nods.

"Why can you do the spell?" Jeremy asks.

"Because like I said before, I want nothing to do with letting Katherine out of the tomb. But I will stand watch if anything bad happens." I state trying not to blow my cover. In all honestly, I can easily temporarily take the spell off the tomb, but that spell is powerful. If I do that with no struggle or effort they will become suspicious. This way, I am helping them to the extent they don't question me.

"Okay. Bonnie does the spell. We get the moonstone and get out. Let's go get what we need." Stefan states. Stefan and Damon then leave the room to prepare to get the stone from Katherine.

"You sure you can do the spell?" I ask her and Bonnie looks at me with a smile.

"Yeah. I can do it. I've gotten stronger than I was the last time I opened the tomb." Bonnie states and I see Jeremy look at her worried.

I know she is a Bennet witch and they are strong, but I am also aware when someone it going over their limit. Although if she says she can do it, I believe her. And if anything goes wrong, I will just help.

"Okay. I trust you."
