The past week went pretty well for Naruto and the sand siblings. He was helping them with conditioning and refining their chakra control. Aside from training, they got to know each other pretty well.

Naruto found out that their mother passed shortly after Gaara was born due to the Shukaku being sealed inside him while she was giving birth.

They found out that Naruto's mother died after his birth due to a sickness. After learning that about each other, they formed a bond over that.

Currently, they were at the Kazekage's private training grounds. They were sitting in a circle and Naruto was explaining the difference in chakra affinities. And then he held up a piece of paper with 2 fingers and channeled his chakra. They watched as the paper split into 2 parts, one got burned and the other crinkled.

"See I have 3 naturally. Although it's very rare to have this much, it's possible to have even more." He then gave the 2 a piece of paper each. "So all we have to do is channel our chakra into this and we'll figure out our chakra nature's?"asked Kankuro. Naruto nodded and Temari went first. Her paper split into two pieces and each side burned.

"Impressive, you have 2 affinities. While wind is very common in Suna, fire is usually for people in the Land of Fire"added Naruto. She was grinning from ear to ear. "My turn, watch this!" said an excited Kankuro. His paper split and each side crumbled. "Earth and wind huh, that's quite the combination" said an intrigued Naruto.

"Mines still better" said Temari. "Shut it princess!"said an indignant Kankuro. "What was that?"asked Temari with a sweet smile on her face. Kankuro paled and looked at Naruto for help. Naruto had disappeared. 'That traitor!'he thought. He tried to run but was grabbed by his sister.

As Naruto was walking through the village, he thought to himself. 'From what I've experienced, a shinobi village isn't that bad. Granite I'm friends with the Kazekage's children so maybe I haven't seen the other side.'

He was so busy thinking that he didn't notice where he was walking and bumped into someone. "S-sorry about that"said an embarrassed Naruto. "It's no problem, but you should be more aware of my surroundings"said a soft voice. Looking up Naruto noticed short red hair, and black eyes. His danger senses were alarmed.

The man looked so familiar, he just couldn't place his finger on it. Noticing the kids unsure stare, the man chuckled. "It's okay, I'm not here to cause you any trouble. The name is Sasori." Hearing this, Naruto tensed. "That's where he heard his name. The damn bingo book.

This man slaughtered hundreds in the last war. Earning him the nickname "Sasori of the red sand"he thought. "Ah it seems you've heard of me"replied a smirking Sasori. "Y-yea something like that. Well I gotta go. My dads probably waiting on me" Naruto said running off. "We will meet again Naruto"replied an expressionless Sasori.

In a cave in an unknown location, a man could be seen. He had on a black cloak with red clouds. He wore an orange mask that had a hole in one eye. He was just gazing into the darkness that surrounded him. A multitude of things were playing in his head.

'It seems that perverted old fool has a child and the child has a dojutsu of some sort' thought the man. He was lost in his thoughts until a man and a woman appeared before him. A man with orange hair and purple eyes and a woman with blue hair and amber eyes. "What brings you here Nagato?"he drawled.

"Madara we need to recruit more members. Sasori is planning his departure and if we include him, there are only 5 members of the Akatsuki."said the blue haired woman. He eyed her for a moment and then looked back at Nagato. "Very well. Recruit only the strongest shinobi and make sure that they hold no ties to their village. Now if you'll excuse me, I have some business to attend to."

And with that, a swirling vortex opened up and sucked the man away. Leaving the two other members in silence. "I do not trust him" said Konan. "And neither do I. I never have and I never will. We need to make sure that the members we bring in are loyal to us alone" said Nagato. She just nodded in agreement as they left the unknown location.

Naruto was back in his room with Jiraiya. He was awaiting his father's return from Kami knows where. That's when he pulled out a necklace Temari made for him. It wasn't anything fancy but he could tell she tried and that's what he appreciated about it. Smiling, thinking about the gift, he didn't notice his father enter the room.

"It seems you're very fond of the Suna Princess" said Jiraiya with a smirk. Naruto blushed slightly but huffed. "We're just friends"he said. "Pft, is that why you spend all of your time with her here?" "Well I spend time with her and Kankuro but she's really cool. Scary but cool"the young boy said. The man nodded. "I too have a fondness for crazy blondes in my heart.

And if I learned anything from her, I'd tell you it's best not to piss Temari off in the future." He then gained a tic mark on his head. "Naruto if you write anything I said down, I'll have Gammatatsu as your personal summon." The boy paled. That greedy Toad wouldn't do anything if he wasn't rewarded with snacks and he didn't have snacks on him 24/7.

He quickly put the notepad away and turned to face his father. Mustering up the most serious face a 5 year old can make, he spoke. "I encountered Sasori of the red sand earlier today." The older man's eyes widened slightly. "And tell me how was your first encounter with him?"he asked. "If I'm being honest, I felt uneasy.

I know you're far stronger than him, but it felt like if I was to fight him, I'd stand no chance" the boy said. Jiraiya chuckled. "That my boy, is what we call killer intent. Now I don't know why he would direct it at a child but I have my suspicions.

And if he knows of you now, he knows that you're my son. Which brings me to my next point. We will be leaving Suna in a couple of days. I have completed the sealing and I have someone else I want you to meet"he finished. "Aw man, I was really enjoying it here.

Do we have to go so soon?" asked Naruto. "Don't worry Romeo, we'll visit again"said a laughing Jiraiya. Naruto gained a dark cloud over his head and mumbled something about stupid Dads.

With Rasa and his children. His two kids just watched Gaara as he slept. This was the first time they'd ever seen him sleep and the 2 year old looked so peaceful. They could finally get close to their brother without having to be worried about that demon inside of him. They were slowly started to become a family again. And it was thanks to Jiraiya. The man had fixed Gaara's seal and they'd be forever in his debt.
