Chapter 7: Man on the Moon
Naruto journeyed towards the city after redressing and summoned a hundred clones to assist in searching the city while he and a couple of clones continued to the palace looking structure. Arriving, Naruto paused after sensing a chakra signature, he signalled his clones to spread out and be cautious and on guard.
Naruto moved toward the chakra signature and saw a boy about his age busy drawing seals on the ground. From his limited knowledge on seals he read that it was a portal of some sort.
"You know it's rude to enter someones house, let alone his room, uninvited. So, to what do I owe this very unpleasant surprise?" the boy asked without looking up. This boy was pale with light blue hair and was wearing a high collared cloak that went up to his knees. The cloak was completely white with six magatama's placed by the edge of each sleeve in a row, three on the base of each side of the collar. These magatama were black in colour. He also wore white pants that were plain.
Naruto, not expecting the boy to sense him, had a shocked look beneath his mask. "I'm surprised you sensed me, however like any curious person I find myself intrigued by the tales I read on the monument left behind by the sage... "
"You mean the one that's been tampered with by that black and white creature? You're from that clan that are Lord Hagoromo descendants? To think even now that creature manipulates your people. I'm sure Hagoromo would be disappointed in his descendants, if he were to see what has become of you people." the boy interrupted Naruto, correcting Naruto's knowledge on the monument.
'The only creature that fits the description and is intelligent enough to do that is Zetsu.' Naruto thought to himself. "How do you know this and who are you?"
"Well now you're interested in me? Very well my name is Torune Otsutsuki..." before the now known as Torune could finish Naruto asked.
"Otsutsuki! What do you mean Otsutsuki, I thought that clan died!" Naruto exclaimed to Torune.
"Foolish of you to think my clan died when you don't even comprehend the power we possess you think Kaguya and her sons were the only members along with the ones born from Lord Hamura. Ha, that's the most laughable thing I've heard in a while. However, you are right we did die out in this branch, while the main branch still thrives with others branches." Torune finished. This shocked Naruto a lot considering that he thought otherwise.
"So that's why you're drawing those seals, you want to go to them?" Naruto guessed.
"You would've been right had I not discovered something that could increase the Otsutsuki's power to rule over all dimensions." Torune replied.
"And just what exactly is this thing that would increase your clans source of power?" Naruto questioned curious if this would make another threat to his plans.
"Since you're going to die soon, I shall tell you. You see every clan that came from any Otsutsuki member and developed a special ability, can be used by other Otsutsuki members and further amplified to become something better than the original ability, therefore we will use your clan's ability and the other clan that's similar to yours." Torune explained to Naruto finally looking up from the now completed seal, showing his empty eye sockets. Naruto took this as a sign that Torune was not joking.
"The Hyuuga clan... " Naruto said with wide eyes showing his shock behind his mask. "And what would you gain from our bloodlines." Naruto asked having an idea what the sharingan would become after being transplanted into an Otsutsuki, but not knowing what the byakugan would become.
"Seeing as your death is almost at hand, I don't see why not. The sharingan that came from Lord Hagoromo would become the fabled rinnegan, while the byakugan which came from Lord Hamura would become the tenseigan." Torune replied to Naruto and sensing Naruto's shock he continued "The tenseigan is something that Lord Hamura awakened during his battle with Lady Kaguya in her corrupted state due to the power she had. While not as known as the rinnegan the tenseigan is equal to the rinnegan."
"I see... Is it possible to do it in reverse?" Naruto asked.
"What do you mean in reverse?" Torune replied with his own question due to confusion.
"Acquire this power your clans is able to acquire."Naruto explained his earlier question.
"It is, but it won't matter since you'll be dead." Torune replied dashing towards Naruto at very high speed that Naruto wasn't able to react fast enough. Torune struck Naruto with a wall shattering punch to face, that the mask absorbed, and sent Naruto into a wall.
Activating his sharingan, after getting over his shock at being hit by someone who doesn't have eyes, Naruto got up to retaliate only to find Torune continuing with the assault. Quickly, using kamui to let Torune slip through him, Naruto turned and grabbed Torune by the collar of his cloak pulling him back. This shocked Torune not knowing how Naruto got behind him, but this didn't last long as he sensed something moving towards his face. Putting his arm in front of the object he sensed and blocked the punch from Naruto, the force of the punch pushed Torune back a couple of feet.
"To think you recovered so quickly and were able to react to my speed when you failed to do so the first. You must be using this... bloodline of yours as you called it." Torune stated as his face morphed into an insane expression "Yes, that's the power the Otsutsuki were meant to wield, not your ungrateful race that spat at Lord Hagoromo's gift."
'How can he fight me and block my attacks when he can't see a thing? Is he sensing me? Well there's only one way to find out.' Naruto, who didn't give a response to Torune, weaved through hand signs and called out "Fire Release: Great Fireball Jutsu" A large fire ball shot out from Naruto's mouth towards Torune, who just ran to the jutsu and covered himself with chakra going through the fire ball like it nothing and kicked a unsuspecting Naruto in stomach.
After Naruto flew back and went through another wall landing outside of the palace before gaining his footing. Trying a different approach Naruto weaved more hand signs and called out "Water Release: Great Waterfall Jutsu" Naruto finished and spat thick water stream bigger than the fire ball from earlier. This flooded the room Naruto came from.
Naruto would have moved to inspect whether Torune was caught by the jutsu when he received memories on the method to accomplish the procedure Torune spoke of. Before he could process the memories from the clones, Naruto was kicked in the back of the head and hit the ground face first, or rather mask first.
"You just don't get it do you. No matter how many tricks you possess and flaunt towards me I'll always be better than you. Your perverted version of ninshuu is weaker, thus I'll always best you in every turn and regain my sight using those eyes of yours." Torune boasted to Naruto and laughed.
"You might be right on most things you say," Naruto started while getting up from the ground. "however, did you truly believe that is all I could do." Naruto finished after getting up and had a white aura burst into life around him. A white spine like object appeared behind him with a several curved bars resembling ribs growing around Naruto. Two skeletal arms appeared on either side and a skull that had a bright yellow light shining within the two sockets. It was shining brightly until muscles and skin covered the skeletal being, the colour being a very dark onyx black that seemed to be absorbing darkness towards it. With that done Naruto turned around and looked at Torune.
"That feels large, almost like a barrier of some kind. Blocking me from getting to you? Well I'll break through it easily thanks to... " before Torune could finish his sentence he was interrupted by Naruto.
"Yeah yeah, thanks to your ninshuu. You know what I don't care about your stupid ninshuu just attack me so I can kill you already." Naruto requested.
"I'll show you and rip your eyes out of your head while you're alive." Torune snarled to Naruto and sprinted faster than ever before toward's Naruto.
Naruto seeing such a direct attack just willed his now black coloured susanoo to grab Torune and squeeze him to death. Just as the susanoo was about to reach Torune and grab him, Torune sensing the chakra about to impact against him, jumped while running through hand signs and declared "Earth Warrior arise." Just as he finished the same rock golem guarding the entrance to the Otsutsuki city rose from the ground and let out a Earth shaking raw, or in this case a moon shaking raw.
"Do you feel despair now disgraceful descendant of Lord Hagoromo. You should now since my warrior shall never tire, shall never fall and shall never slow down due to injury. The only way of defeating it is by getting out of that barrier and kill me, however, there's one little problem about that. You see the size of this warrior does not affect its speed, so whatever you try, losing and death is your fate especially after I rip out those eyes of yours." Torune said landing on the statue.
'So super speed, self regeneration and no chakra needed to control after being summoned. However, I feel susanoo should be superior compared to this giant mud statue.' Naruto thought to himself before voicing some of his thoughts "I'm sure you haven't met my guardian personally, so let me introduce you to him. Susanoo meet your next prey!" Naruto exclaimed with susanoo roaring in confirmation and raising the left hand as a white sword manifested.
The susanoo brought the sword down to cut Torune together with his rock statue in half, only for the statue to move slightly to the left and Naruto's susanoo to miss receiving a vicious tackle by the golem. Naruto not expecting such speed and strength could not brace himself or cushion his impact against the wall. When Naruto got up he dispelled his susanoo and sped towards Torune, jumped when the golem sent a punch straight for Naruto and used the arm as a spring board. When he got face to face with Torune he moved his body horizontally to the ground spinning towards Torune. Naruto resummoned his susanoo and the left hand, which was on top, manifested a white sword and the momentum from Naruto's spin directed the sword to Torune, who just moved back evading the sword. There was a long vertical cut on the golem's front, however, Naruto was not done as he continued to spin while dispelling the sword on the left hand of his susanoo and summoned another sword that was black in colour this time and declared "Sword of Kagutsuchi"
Torune seeing this black sword, that looked like it was flames, moved further back to avoid any contact and preparing a water technique, in case contacted and it really was flames. Naruto seeing Torune avoid his attack, added more chakra to increase the length of the sword. Torune not being able to maneuve out of the way took a deep cut, almost reaching the bone in his arm, that didn't spill blood thanks to the intense heat from the sword.
"AAAHHHH! You... You... hooligan! You dare cut my flesh! I'm Torune, the next Sage of Six Paths! Who shall become a god of your world when I conquer it!" Torune declared in outrage.
"Someone's delusional much. You really think you, someone who can't even use his own power, can conquer the world. Psshh, yeah right you're just a child throwing a tantrum because the world doesn't bow down to you." Naruto stated panting a little after landing on the ground and jumping away.
Torune, who was absolutely livid, moved so fast that Naruto almost thought he teleported in front of him and thrusted his hand towards Naruto's heart. Torune grinned viciously sensing Naruto not moving, although that all changed when he went through Naruto and carried on crashing into the wall. Naruto seeing a chance to end the fight, since he was running out of chakra after all the sharingan chakra depleting jutsus.
Focusing chakra in his right eye, which started to bleed, and looked at the hole Torune was in Naruto exclaimed "Amaterasu!" Immediately black flames appeared inside the hole Torune was in. After a while he extinguished the flames and started walking to the hole Torune occupied.
"Hmmm hmmm, ha ha, HAHAHA. You're finished, I can feel it. Your chakra dropped drastically three times after that flashy show. First when you did whatever you did to make me pass through you, than when you summoned those flames and just now when you extinguished them." Torune stated walking out the the burnt hole. Torune looked like a animal that was cooked when he was visible. "You might have defeated me if you weren't so hasty to take the flames away. You've not figured it out have you?" Torune asked.
"Have not figured what out?" Naruto questioned while thinking 'How did he survive my Amaterasu without dodging.'
"I might not see, because of the lack of eyes. However, I can sense chakra and I'm only telling you this because it seems your techniques require a massive amount of chakra. This will be my victory now that you don't have enough chakra." Torune informed Naruto while smirking at him. Torune wasted no time attacking Naruto.
Naruto hearing this knew he lost and was about to admit defeat, until he remembered what Torune would do if he gave up. Quickly searching his brain for a way to win Naruto found one. Focusing chakra into his right eye and muttering out "Space-Time jutsu - Reversal"
If Torune could see he would have seen Naruto's right eye rotating anti-clockwise and glowing, however, he did sense the chakra build up in Naruto's eye and was about to comment on it before everything reversed. While this happened Torune was none the wiser to what was happening.
Five Minutes Prior
"Seeing as your death is almost at hand, I don't see why not. The sharingan that came from Lord Hagoromo would become the fabled rinnegan, while the byakugan which came from Lord Hamura would become the tenseigan." Torune replied to Naruto and sensing Naruto's shock he continued "The tenseigan is something that Lord Hamura awakened during his battle with Lady Kaguya in her corrupted state due to the power she had. "I see... Is it possible to do it in reverse?" Naruto asked.

"It is, but it won't matter since you'll be dead." Torune replied, but before he could charge at Naruto he noticed something and couldn't help but ask "Why are you panting, our battle hasn't even began yet?"
"Wouldn't you like to know." Naruto replied panting all of a sudden, well in Torune's point of view. 'The thing that the tablet forgot to mention is that time might have turned back, but anything that happened prior to me after the reversal is still in effect. I hope that since I'm tired and almost out of chakra he is going to underestimate me. If everything goes according to plan than I kill him or atleast win this fight in three moves.'"Are you ready to die?" Naruto asked.
"Me! Die! In your condition! Haha, please even the walls around us stand a better chance than you!" Torune declared with a smirk.
'We'll see. Okay the only chakra I have left is enough for two C rank jutsus before I pass out due to chakra exhaustion. Step 1:... '"Fire Release: Great Fireball Jutsu" Naruto said after weaving hand signs and like before Torune went through the fire ball coated in chakra. 'Step 2:... ' Naruto moved towards Torune whipping a kunai out in his left hand and aimed it at Torune like he was going to punch him in the face. 'Step 3:... ' Torune sensed Naruto's punch coming and tilted his head to the left and Naruto grinned sinister like fashion, maneuvering his hand lower and cut Torune's jugular vein.
Before Naruto could celebrate, the momentum of his slash made him land on the seal, unknowingly, and since he used chakra in his feet to stop himself from hitting the wall. The next thing Naruto knew was he had travelled to the Otsutsuki's home world.
Otsutsuki's Home World
Naruto arrived in a metal dominated room, well not dominated but fully metallic room and sat down to rest. Before Naruto could dwell on the decor of the room, he stood up as three pale looking guards entered room. All of them were wearing white chain mail shirts and white chain mail pant with gold armour that looked like the Senju armour Madara showed him. However, instead of a Senju crest there were three magatama on each collar of the armour that was black in colour.
Before Naruto could study them more they spoke "Halt! What are you doing trespassing within the transportation room." one of the guards asked.
'Hmm, so Torune was not lying to me. That's seal he made was a portal to another world, now if he was telling the truth about everything than they are the Otsutsuki. Now if I play my cards right...' "I apologize for my intrusion, but I wanted to contact you due to my mentor and friend pointing me in this direction." Naruto stated as he looked towards the guards to gauge their reactions.
"And who might this friend of yours be and how did he find the home world of the Otsutsuki?" the same guard asked again.
"His name is Torune Otsutsuki and it was left by his ancestor, Hamura Otsutsuki, the son of Lady Kaguya Otsutsuki." Naruto spoke with such emotion that he almost believed it himself.
"Princess Kaguya! What else do you know about her. Speak or face judgment." the guard in the middle ordered with shock in his face.
'So Kaguya is a princess here in this world. Well I could use this to my advantage.' Naruto thought with a smirk behind his mask before replying "No need for that, I'm also trying to find out more about my distant ancestor. However, I could tell you about what I know about her, even though it is limited. Lady Kaguya came to my world a long time ago and acquired a source of power, the fruit of the god tree, and ate it, thus becoming a goddess to the people of my world. Later after ruling the lands Lady Kaguya had two children, Hagoromo and Hamura, and raised them. As time passed on, the god tree started affecting Lady Kaguya due to its connection to her power. Lady Kaguya not expecting such a mental attack, fell prey to mind control. She would be manipulated, by the god tree into enslaving the whole world in a illusion, besides her sons who inherited a potion of her power. However, even a potion is still godlike and they tried to make the god tree leave her alone. They succeeded in releasing the mental grip the god tree had on her, but the god tree had merged itself with Lady Kaguya and mutated into a beast with ten tails. After countless battles the children were left with only one choice and that was to take away her powers and seal both Lady Kaguya and the god tree. Although, I plan to rectify that and bring Lady Kaguya back to rule my world like the goddess she is." Naruto finished his tale that had so much emotions that the guards believed Naruto.
"That is such a noble task you have taken upon yourself, however, how do you plan to succeed in your quest?" the guard who has been quite up until now asked.
"Torune came up with a way for him to gain power that would become absolute and unopposed. However, he was killed by a group of powerful people called Akatsuki, who want to prevent it from happening. So I shall acquire this power and complete it myself." Naruto answered the guard.
"And how do you plan on accomplishing this?"
"That's the reason I'm here, I wished to ask the Otsutsuki to assist me. You see the Torune was going to take one of the eyes of the descending clans, from Lady Kaguya, that have an eye ability and transfer them into himself. But now that his gone it would not work, so I will do it myself. I request that I be given a pure blooded Otsutsuki's blood so my diluted blood becomes strengthened to help me acquire power to bring back Lady Kaguya." Naruto explained ending with a little bow.
"Then you'll have to ask the king for permission to acquire our blood." the guard in the middle informed.
Naruto just nodded and followed as the guards went out the room and saw a village similar to the one in Rain country. However, it seemed that the technology here was superior compared to Rain.
In Hidden Sand village
Rasa of the Sand, also known as the 4th kazekage, sat in his office looking at all the information gathered about Rock. 'This man was able to kill two of my jonins and escape after defeating a jinchuriki with no effort at all. Now Hidden Stone lost both their jinchuriki and it's possible that he's after the others. If he were to repeat the same thing he did to Hidden Stone jinchuriki to Gaara than the invasion would lose some percentages in the hundred percent perfection, the tailed beast power would be sealed away. Maybe ten plus minus percent, although if he were to... ' Rasa's musings were interrupted by a voice within the office that put him on edge.
"Rasa, my old friend. Jumpy are you now, hmm? Is there a problem, you seem concerned?"
"There is no problem at present, however, there is a new powerful fellow who is targeting jinchuriki. If left alone he could jeopardise the invasion and remove certain assets." Rasa replied ignoring the first question.
"And whom might this fellow be?" the man asked as he took a seat in front of Rasa. The man had very pale skin and purple birth marks on the eyelids that stretched from the edge of the eyelid to the same side of the nose, yellow eyes with a black vertical slit for a pupil and black silky hair. He was dressed in a dirty yellow shirt that reached his knees with a purple rope that acted as a belt, black anbu pants and black ninja sandals. This man was Orochimaru of the Sannin.
"Rock, no last name or title. Appeared out of nowhere and suddenly a low S rank in power, enough to defeat jinchuriki and seal the tailed beast's power away. He fought two in the same day if the info gathered was accurate." Rasa answered.
'Hmm, so little Rock is all grown up now.' Orochimaru thought before speaking to Rasa "He won't be a problem if your jinchuriki trains. I'll inform our other allies to prepare in case he pays us a visit during the invasion."
"Very well." Rasa replied as Orochimaru stood up and left.
Otsutsuki Home World: King's Palace
The room Naruto found himself in was large and spacious. The only thing within the room was a pure gold throne with a red sitting cushion on it and framed pictures, of what Naruto assumed were previous kings and queens. The room itself was painted red and had gold writings on it, the floor being pure gold.
The king entered the throne room after being called by the guards. He had pale skin, lavender eyes with no pupils, shortened eyebrows and blood red hair. He wore a gold crown that had five rubies four small ones and a large one in the middle lined in a straight horizontal line and a snow white royal kimono that had long sleeves and reaches the ground, six black magatama around the sleeves and three black magatama on each side of the the neck. It was outlined with two lines, the outer was gold and the inner was blood red. Seeing the king Naruto forced himself to bow down towards the man. The king seeing this smiled.
'It seems that this young man is indeed telling the truth, since bowing to a king not your own shows respect and honour.' the king thought as he signalled to Naruto stand up. "That's quite the tale you have there young man. My guards informed me of your request, however, there's one thing I'd like to know before I agree to your request?" the king asked.
"And what would that be, my Lord?" Naruto asked raising a brow behind his mask.
"I'd like to know who are the descendants of my daughter?" the king replied taking a seat on his throne wanting to know about his daughter's line and to check if the story would be the same.
"Very well, my Lord. As your guards have told you, Lady Kaguya had two children named Hagoromo and Hamura. Hagoromo was the oldest and he had his own children who were, Indra and Ashura. Indra would have his own family that would later on become known as the Uchiha. Ashura's family on the other hand would be known as the Senju. As time passed Indra and Ashura would fight due to Hagoromo choosing Ashura, the youngest, as his successor to Ninshuu, which is the religion that both Hamura and Hagoromo made. Their fight would continue on within their descendants. After years of constant war between the families, some of the Senju members left the Senju to avoid the war, they later became known as the Uzumaki. The Uzumaki would play peace makers between the Senju and Uchiha, that ended with an alliance between the families. Hamura would have three children, they are unknown since they weren't active in the history of my world. One child would become an ancestor to the Hyuuga, who are allies to the Senju. Another would become an ancestor to the Kaguya, named after Lady Kaguya herself due to the inherited appearance and bloodline they inherited, they were allies to the Uchiha. The third would not change his name and stay Otsutsuki and they, along with Hamura, would guard the seal Lady Kaguya is currently in." Naruto answered the king who was in deep thought on what he had heard.
"How much blood would you need for you to free my daughter from that seal keeping her?" the king asked.
"Just half a litre would be fine." Naruto replied.
"I will have it ready in a few minutes." the king stated.
