Chapter 8: Empowered with Pure Blood
Naruto, laying on a hospital bed waiting for the blood to be injected in him, starts thinking of his plans to capture the rest of the jinchuriki. He would have to train a lot for him to be able to take all of them at the same time or prepare for the Mizukage when the three tails emerges.
Ino, a person he hadn't thought of in a long time considering what she was to him, however, he had been having other things to do than be focused on Ino. Another thing is that she wouldn't understand why he was doing what he was doing. She had been already poisoned by the will of fire in his opinion and was to interested in being the perfect girlfriend instead of the perfect Kunoichi.
Before he thinks more about Ino, he was interrupted by the door opening and a doctor coming in "Hello, I'm head doctor Chizuru Otsutsuki, and I'll be completing your request." the now known as Chizuru answered.
Naruto nodded before asking "Have you been told about the amount and area the blood needs to be injected in me?"
"No I was hoping you would know how much is needed to be injected and where?" Chizuru replied with her own question.
"Fine. One fifth is going to be divided into two equal portions and injected into the vain going to the eyes, two fifths into the base on my neck by the spinal cord fluids and the rest of it inject it normally." Naruto answered.
"I see. Well let's get started." Chizuru stated as she began the process.
"So how's planet Elem?" Naruto just looked at Chizuru like she was crazy. Chizuru decided to elaborate "You know, your home planet?"
"So that's what it's called." Naruto echoed out before answering "It's chaotic, but that's just the system devised to keep the false peace. That's why I've made it my goal to change it."
"And how do you plan to accomplish that?" Chizuru asked while preparing the first injection.
"By bringing Lady Kaguya back from her prison, because when she was in charge there were no wars or civil wars." Naruto replied.
Chizuru just nodded her head with approval and injected the first injection, this got a grunt out of Naruto.
(Konohagakure)
Ino had just finished her training with her sensei that Naruto got for her. The sensei was an ANBU captain who was a sword specialist, code name Cat. She had tried getting her name multiple times, but she never got it.
Anyway she was on her way to Naruto's house to complain, about what exactly: her boyfriend not making as much time for her now than before he went to missions. Things have become slow in their relationship ever since they started missions, yes they still spoke, but not as much.
Clearing her thoughts about her relationship as she reached the door to Naruto's house, she was about to knock when the door opened.
(With Naruto prior)
Having returned after a week and receiving memories from his blood clone, Naruto was about to meditate to organize his memories when he sensed Ino approaching. He quickly changed his clothes from his Akatsuki attire into a simple white T-shirt with an Uchiha crest and black shorts. Seeing as Ino was taking too much time to knock he decided to open himself.
"Coming in?" Naruto asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Huh... Oh yeah." Ino entered after Naruto opened the door wider and moved of the way.
"So what brings you... " Naruto started only to be interrupted by Ino.
"Okay stop talking, because if you continue I won't say what I wanna say. Number one: you don't make time for me. Number two: I feel like we're going nowhere in this relationship. Number three: you don't feel like you half the time I'm with you." Ino finished panting afterwards.
Naruto just raised an eyebrow at 'Number three', if what she said is true than Ino was a sensory type of a ninja. Clearing his throat Naruto replied "You know that with all the team assignments and missions we get, personal time is hard to get, so it was obviously going to feel like we're going nowhere."
"I know that, but I remember you used to atleast spend an hour with me, even though we were both sweaty after training. Now... its just that I don't want to have to be the one who's actually putting any effort into seeing the other. Do you even miss lately, huh?" Ino ranted off before finishing with a question that had Naruto softening at the helplessness in Ino's tone as she spoke.
Naruto just moved towards Ino and hugged her lightly before speaking to her, pulling back a little to see her face "I'm sorry, my delicate flower. I guess I just focused a lot on the growth of my strength to protect you that I actually forgot to be there for you. How about this, how about I spend the rest of the day with you."
Ino smiled and nodded than stated "Lets just spend the day indoors, Cat-sensei is a tiring instructor."
Naruto just chuckled and nodded. Ino and Naruto sat on the couch catching up on missed time. While this was happening Naruto felt his eyes itch and burn slightly, but ignored it so Ino doesn't notice.
(Next day)
(Training ground seven)
We find Naruto waiting for Kakashi to arrive alongside his teammates Sasuke and Sakura. His changed his attire, now Naruto is wearing black ninja sandals, white ANBU pants, black t-shirt with an Uchiha crest and a white long sleeved jacket that had an Uchiha clan crest covered by his hair. He was also wearing his black shades that had red clouds on it.
"There are my cute little genin. You ready for missions today?" Kakashi said arriving with a leaf shushin.
Before anyone could say anything Sakura just exploded "YOU'RE LATE KAKASHI-SENSEI!"
"Now now Sakura I know we're outside, but I suggest you use your inside voice least we lose our hearing." Kakashi suggested while cleaning his ear.
"I think it is time we did a C-rank mission considering we did the required D-rank missions." Sasuke stated while removing ear plugs with Naruto nodding in agreement.
"Well I guess you're right we do deserve a C-rank." Kakashi replied back to Sasuke with an eye smile.
"You're making it sound like you helped us with the D-ranks." Sakura spoke with a questioning gaze.
"While I go fetch a C-rank mission, I want to see if you remember what to bring on a standard one week C-rank mission. You have one hour to gather your supplies and return here for the mission." Kakashi ordered ignoring Sakura. His team replying with a quick 'Yes sensei' before leaving.
(Uchiha Naka Shrine)
Naruto finds himself glancing over the stone to see if h had gotten any new powers from the Otsutsuki blood. Briefly reading the history and the first five stages of his doujutsu he finally saw something that his been waiting and looking for.
'Mangekyou Sharingan abilities:
Everyone have: Susanoo.
6 extra unique: Kamui; Tsukuyomi; Amaterasu; Kotoamatsukami; Space-Time jutsu - Reversal; Space-Time jutsu - After image
Susanoo - This ability allows you to summon a protective humanoid structure. This structure is defensive and offensive, and can be equipped with weapons like; swords, shields, crossbows or fight directly. It develops with time as you master it, it starts with a rib cage barrier around the user, then gets a head and arms, then the armour. This is its incomplete state. Then legs grow,while user moves to be by the head of the humanoid, and armour making it complete. The perfect Susanoo is when it has 4 arms, complete samurai armour, 2 wings for flight and a helmet. To battle using Susanoo, all you need to do is give it mental commands. The more you use Susanoo the easier and faster to use. Warning if only Mangekyou then it will use a lot of chakra, speeds up blindness and damage body internally. Both eyes required from same person, if not than unable to perform.
Kamui - This ability allows you to transport objects, whether from a distance or close, to your personal dimension created by your eyes. The left eye transports objects in the dimension from a distance and the right eye transports objects that you touch or in close range or yourself in the dimension. When in the dimension to return, with or without an object, think of a place where you have been otherwise it'll be a random place. When not in dimension and want to retrieve an object without going in the dimension, use left eye for close range or right eye for distance, think of the object whether solid, liquid or gas. When in combat and about to be hit by an object and is unavoidable use both eyes(the same pair) to be intangible, where your right eye moves your physical body to the dimension and the left eye leaves the spiritual body in the real world, which allows solid objects to pass through you or you through objects. Warning if Mangekyou takes a lot of chakra. Whether if its Eternal or not risk of ripping body parts if not concentrated.
Tsukuyomi - This ability captures a person in an illusion which is unbreakable using your left eye, unless have Mangekyou or have Sharingan plus will power to break, for 5 day maximum in the tsukuyomi world and a second per day in real world. The world of tsukuyomi is a negative or opposite of the real world. In this world the person who cast the illusion controls everything, making it realistic, space, time and even physical mass, and can do anything to the person trapped inside the illusion. The time spent inside is up to the user or the amount of practise. You can show a person their fears or your memories or torture them damaging the brain. Warning if Mangekyou takes a lot of chakra and speeds up blindness.
Amaterasu - This ability creates black flames, hottest flames even hotter than nibi/Matatabi's blue flames, from the right eye and burns anything in your line of sight. These flames are unextinguishable and will burn for 7 days and 7 nights, unless creator of flames says otherwise. To extinguish or control form, shape or size use left eye if already have used the flames, if not use both to sight target and control, and the rest is your imagination. Waring if Mangekyou takes a lot of chakra, harder to control and speeds up blindness.
Kotoamatsukami - This ability allows the user to rewrite someone's memories without the victim's knowledge of the incident happening. When the technique has been applied it cannot be used for 7 years in the eyes' Mangekyou state, but 7 months when in the eyes' Eternal state. Warning if Mangekyou takes a lot of chakra.
Space-Time jutsu: Reversal - This ability allows you to reverse time up to 5 minutes, depends on practice, and only you will remember it. Once used can not use again for a day per minute reversed. Any eye casts this jutsu. Warning eye used for casting won't allow other Mangekyou ability that needs the specific eye, like Susanoo because it uses both eyes, to be used until time reversed is covered.
Space-Time jutsu: After image - This ability allows the user to avoid any danger and still trick the enemy into still continuing with the attack. This is possible due to teleporting within eye view while still appearing in the place you were in thanks to the speed of the teleportation. When the after image has been 'hit' it still responds as if the real you and confuses the enemy. Warning if Mangekyou takes a lot of chakra and chakra disabled until after image has perished.
'I seem to have unlocked two more Mangekyou powers, the kotoamatsukami and Space-Time jutsu: After image. I'll need to train these new jutsus in secret so I can surprise the Akatsuki when its time to fight them.' Naruto thought to himself before continuing on reading with he really came for.
'6th stage(The Rinnegan: small pupil and 4 rings surrounding pupil): djmdndnd,smmsm,.smsk,s,s skdk. smsk.d,.smsk..s ,kr.
Hidden Stage: UNREADABLE!
If there's a jutsu not readable then other your eyes don't have the ability or you still at the 4th stage. You will never get Kamui and Space jutsu: After Image or Tsukuyomi and Kotoamatsukami together because they operate the same. Kamui and After image are teleporting jutsus and Tsukuyomi and Kotoamatsukami are genjutsu. But if awaken the Rinnegan then all of the Mangekyou abilities will be unlocked.'
'It seems I awoken the Rinnegan due to me having all Mangekyou jutsus and the 6th stage revealed its name and made the information visible to see, but still unreadable. I think it still needs a trigger to fully awaken. Anyway I think it is time to prepare for this lousy mission Kakashi is going to get for us.'
(Some time later)
(Training ground seven)
Naruto upon arriving noticed that he was the last one to arrive in the training ground. He just moved to stand next to Sasuke and Kakashi began talking "Alright the mission I got us is a simple investigation. We've been sent by the hokage to retrieve a weapon if we can, if not information on it. This mission is to Lightning country so time will be against us since we need to avoid hidden cloud ninja."
"Finally a proper mission worthy of my skill." Sasuke stated while smiling. Sakura also nodded along with Sasuke.
"What is this weapon we looking for Kakashi-sensei." Naruto asked.
"Well I'm glad you asked Naruto. This is a fan that releases elemental chakra when chakra is channelled into it. It is rumoured to be one of the weapons made by the sage of six paths, well that's if he even existed." Kakashi explained before continuing "Well we should be going now."
(Three hours later)
(Lightning country)
Team seven had just arrived to one of the smaller villages and Kakashi addressed his team "We should split into three groups. I'll go search for information in the north, Sasuke in the south, Sakura here in the East and Naruto in the West. If you find something or run into hidden cloud ninja just flare your chakra. We will meet here in two hours otherwise, and remove your headbands." Kakashi ordered before departing along with the rest of his team.
(Some time later)
(With Kakashi)
Kakashi just left a bar that he was looking for information in when he noticed a ninja following him. Quickly going into an alley and using a fast shushin to arrive in a empty clearing, Kakashi was just about to move from the area when he dodged a kunai.
"I knew you were a shinobi the moment Cee sensed you and your little team, but I hoped for my sake that you're just passing through. However, you not just passing through are you now, huh Kakashi of the sharingan?" the attacker spoke from behind the tree.
"Well you seem to have found me. What gave me away huh?" Kakashi asked hoping the voice would tip him on who he was dealing with.
"When you went into a bar and still didn't order anything to drink. Now I guess I'll have to fight you now. Oh man this is so dull." the voice stepped out into the clearing while answering Kakashi.
This man is a fairly tall, dark-skinned man with a slightly bulbous nose, black eyes that usually look bored, and shaggy, white hair which covers his left eye. He wears a high-collared, sleeveless uniform with loose fitting pants, bandages on his wrists and the one-strap-over-one-shoulder flak jacket of a Kumogakure shinobi.
(With Sakura)
Sakura, walking around while listening, came across some information and wanted to investigate it before calling the rest of the team. Arriving in the abandoned warehouse she looked around, but stiffened when she was interrupted by an unknown voice.
"You would think even a rookie genin kunoichi woul know better than you. You didn't even get a second source about the location that's unknown to you." the voice sounded female to Sakura, but as Sakura was going to regain some confidence she stiffened again when she heard a male voice this time "Man didn't whatever village you come from inform you about information gathering."
Turning around Sakura saw two people, a male and a female, standing by the doorway. The female is a dark-skinned kunoichi with long spiky red hair and amber eyes. She was flat-chested. She wears a long, short-sleeved dress with frilly edges complete with the Kumogakure flak jacket, two simple yellow earrings, fishnet stockings, thigh-high boots with white soles and a forehead protector which she wears like a bandanna. She also carries a long sword on her back. The male is a young, dark-skinned Kumo-nin with short, spiky, white hair and dark eyes accentuated with eyelashes curving upwards from the corners. He wears a dark outfit consisting of an overlong shirt with a hood, with red bandage hand guards, Kumogakure shin guards, and a black forehead protector along with a Kumogakure flak jacket. He is had a thoughtful expression, as though always in deep contemplation and sucking on a lollipop. He also carries a long sword on his back.
(With Sasuke)
Just like everyone else Sasuke was being tailed and he knew it. So he abandoned the mission and decided to turn around going towards his follower. Finding him on the rooftop he didn't even wait for his pursuer to talk as he launched five shrunken and three kunai. The man had dark eyes and short, blond hair which he wears parted in the front. He wears the standard attire of the Kumo-nin: a sleeveless, black shirt with a one-strap-over-one-shoulder white flak jacket, black forehead protector, characteristic black, elbow-length arm-guards, and the red and white Kumogakure shin-guards along with a pair of sandals.
His pursuer ducked and rolled to the left before blazing through hand signs while speaking "I guess that gets the pleasantries out of the way. Lightning Release: Lightning Illusion Flash of Lightning Pillar."
(With Naruto)
Instead of looking for information, Naruto was just looking at the river while standing on the bridge. After some time Naruto was joined by someone "Is this spot taken?"
"Not at all, I didn't think anyone else enjoyed watching river flows like me?" Naruto replied before questioning vaguely.
"Well I do enjoy anything that is cool. But I didn't think someone else like it too. However, that's partially why I am here. What's a shinobi from another village doing here and why aren't you also looking for information like the rest of your team?" the female asked after answering and standing next to Naruto.
"Well I'm on a mission and I'm not really going to work hard for a village I don't have any loyalties to, just like you don't attack me since you are just like me. Not loyal to your village, that's why you don't wear a headband isn't it?"Naruto replied finally looking at the female next to him.
She is a tall, fair-skinned girl with a curvaceous figure who generally wears a stoic, aloof expression on her face. She has blue eyes and straight, shoulder-length blonde hair cut in an asymmetrical bob style.
She wears a very low-cut outfit which displays her sizeable cleavage, with mesh armour underneath, a short skirt and red hand guards, high boots, and what appears to be a modified Kumogakure flak jacket that covers her stomach only, similar to a girdle. She also carries a tantÅ strapped horizontally to her lower back.
"How do you know that I don't wear a headband because I'm not loyal?" asked the female with a calm stoic voice.
"Then fight me and take me in." Naruto spoke before dodging a swipe of a tanto from the girl. "Don't be so quick to prove me wrong now. Atleast tell me your name? Mine is Naruto Uchiha."
"Nice to meet you Naruto, my name is Samui, no last name." the now known as Samui stated stoically in a sarcastic tone. As soon as she finished she took another swipe at Naruto which he jumped back to dodge. Samui didn't give Naruto time to recover as she continued her assault on him by striking in a reverse grip twice by twisting her body once after the first strike. Naruto leaned back first before ducking down the second time and pushed himself back to avoid a round house kick. Naruto didn't get time rest as Samui charged in faster to try another kick, this time at his legs, causing him to jump. However, he realized his mistake as Samui smirked before she enhanced her speed with chakra and delivered two lightning quick stabs. Naruto leaned his head left to dodge the stab before angling his body awkwardly to the right to avoid the second stab. Seeing her attack miss caused Samui's smirk to momentarily drop before returning full force as she added lightning to her tanto. The tanto gave of a static burst of electrical energy and lengthened. Samui quickly adjusting her grip on her tanto from her stabbing position, Samui swiped hard to the right to bisect Naruto in half. However, her smirk went back to her normal stoic expression when her wrist was strongly grabbed by Naruto.
Landing after what seemed to be a life time Naruto spoke "Such intent to kill. Been a hell of a month for me since you're now the fifth person who wants to kill me if I'm not mistaken."
"Well you're mistaken indeed as I just want to paralyze you as my mission never stated otherwise." Samui replied ripping her hand away from Naruto and jumping backwards before continuing "When are you going to take me seriously or don't you possess your family's cheat code."
"Well I'm sure you wouldn't believe this, but..." Naruto began with a mischievous smile appearing on his face before continuing "I've been given a wake up call that made me want to hold off using my sharingan. Especially on a weak girl like you who can't even admit to herself that she isn't what she thinks she is."
"Trying to make me angry really won't help as I can control my emotions." Samui stated trying to dissuade Naruto from continuing with his taunting.
"You're right I'm sorry I should stop doing that when my opponent is a weak little girl. Mentally and physically." Naruto replied continuing with his taunts.
"What are you trying to achieve with your consistency on me being an unloyal kunoichi to my village. Want me to be your ally or something?" Samui questioned her stoic tone changing slightly to a curious tone.
"You could say that. Although, I personally don't know why I'm going so far, I mean it could be that I just like your pretty little face or the little bit of skill you've displayed so far." Naruto answered shrugging a little.
"Little bit of skill? Hmmm, my job now is just to hold you off from helping your teammates since I deduced that we are more or less equal." Samui spoke with a smug look that looked like it didn't belong to her, appeared on her face.
"Do you truly believe your delusions. You seem really certain that we're equal after our little skirmish just now. Well dear, let me let you in on a small secret, I'm holding back since I really don't see a reason to go all out. An adult would be childish if he would go full force on a child." Naruto stated folding his arms.
Samui seemed to be visibly trying to repress the irritation Naruto was causing her before she said "Even if that's true, I will still hold you off from helping your pink haired friend..." "Don't care about her." "...your sensei..." "Him either." "...or your brother." as Naruto seemed to be interrupting Samui he stops after she reveals that she knows Sasuke is his brother.
Naruto blurred for a second and reappeared in front of Samui in a blink of an eye grabbing her by the neck, he demanded an answer "HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT?!"
