Chapter 10: Fun Ride!

Clank!

Makoto was already punching the door to open it, but it was futile. Why, at a time like this, did he have to be closed in the toilet out of all places?

Cursing his own bad luck Luckster just wished that nothing serious would happen in his absence.

"Everyone, please be alright." He said it in great concern for his Nakamas.

With that, the Luckster continued on, trying to burst open the door, which seemed as if it were made of metal.

.

.

.

Natsu at the time was still too weak to move; he was barely alive! This transport illness has been getting on his nerve lately; maybe it is something that all Dragon Slayers suffer from?

Regardless, he was feeling awful, and damn Erza, with that icy bastard, forgot about him and Makoto, who seemed to be surprisingly still in the toilet.

"I will die...at this point!" Fire Mage tried his best to hold the puke that was about to burst out of his mouth, which will be...not so pleasurable for either him nor the conductors of the train.

"Why are you going to die?" A sudden voice swayed all the attention towards the man who said it.

Wearing white clothes and having black hair with a ponytail, Natsu was approached by a strange-looking man.

"It sure is good to be a part of a legal guild, don't you think so, sir?" Placing his feet over the dragon slayer's face, the man snickered. "Natsu from Fairy Tail right?"

With feet over his face, Natsu looked towards the man with a killing look.

"Who are you, bastard?" Natsu asked in anger.

The man didn't stop his snicker as he lowered his head close enough towards Natsu.

"I am Kageyama from Eisenwald, but for you Fairy Tail rats, I am just Kage."

.

.

.

"I am so ashamed of myself!" Frustrated, Erza screamed, hitting her head against the wall. "I should have paid close attention to both of them!"

Cursing herself Erza wanted to just fall into an abyss.

Grey and Lucy looked at each other with understanding eyes.

"Hey there, Erza. No need to blame yourself so much." Ice-mage said, trying to calm the scarlet-haired girl.

"Grey is right, Erza-san! Nobody knows when situations like these might happen."

Erza looked towards her friends with a bright face.

"You all are right! I should not give up!"

With that, she leaped towards the main office, kicking and slapping the train workers.

"I demand for you all to cooperate and halt the train this instance!"

"But ma'am, we can't do that, it's-"

She slapped the poor worker again and, with a swift move, pushed the stop button.

Bewildered Lucy looked towards Grey, pointing her finger towards rampaging Erza.

"Isn't she getting overboard?"

"She is..."

"That's Erza for you, Aye!" Happy exclaimed with fish in his mouth.

.

Crash

The man, Kage, kicked Natsu hard enough for him to fly a bit away from him.

"Ya, all legal guilds are nothing but fucking pushovers, and when the time comes, you always discriminate against us!" With him intensly screaming, Kage was kicking Natsu, who didn't have any power to hit the black-haired man back.

"Moron, when I recover, you are going to see what we are made of!"

"Big talk for a person who is going to die soon!" With that, Kage's fist started to approach the fire mage.

The time was frozen for Natrsu, who felt that train had finally stopped. It seems Erza was successful in stopping it temporarily.

Not wasting any time, Natsu jumped and, with a high kick, hit Kageyama's face.

Boom!

The kick was so strong that Kageyama felt his jaw getting numb.

"What the hell? How dare you!" Leaping forward, Kage noticed a grin on Dragon Slayer's face.

"Nuh-uh!" Fire covered his fist. Natsu leaped forward as well, ready to finish off the punny mage before him. "Fire Dragon's fi-OOOOOMPH!?" Unfortunately, the train started to move again, making Natsu's illness come back in one piece.

The fire mage leaned on his stomach, clearly not feeling well, and let Kageyama hit him.

"What is that? You seemed so high and mighty, and now you aren't?" His smirk was getting wilder. Kageyama started to pummel Natsu, kicking him with all of his might.

Natsu was feeling nothing but anger at that moment. If not for this shitty illness of his, he would definitely kick this guy's ass. He had no idea what to do at the moment and could only withstand the rain of kicks.

"I am getting bored. Time to finish you off." With that, Kage, with a dagger in his hands, let his hand loose to stab the powerless mage.

BAAAAAAAAM

A straight punch to the face made Kage let go of the dagger while he himself flew away. Just what was going on!?

"It seems I am in time!"

Standing in his full glory, Makoto stood near Natsu with a hissing hand. It was his first time that he punched someone without using magic, after all! However, he felt good for doing this to the person who hurt his friend.

"Makoto…" Natsu Happily looked towards his savior despite the nausea he was suffering from.

"Save your energy, Natsu." Makoto tapped his friend's shoulder while standing in a fighting pose. He had no idea what to do, but the fact that Kage was fighting with Natsu proved that this man was their enemy.

"You, what's your name?" Kage said it with anger.

Makoto was trying to end this peacefully, but...

"You bastards are on Eisenwald's way, so better kill you both while at it."

This was enough for Makoto to understand what was going on. This guy is from Dark Guild Eisenwald, which Erza told him about, so that means he has no need to let this guy go. One god knows what kind of destruction he might cause in the future, and beside that, he believes that Erza will surely be dissatisfied with them letting go of the Eisenwald guild member.

"I am sorry, but..." Makoto took on a somewhat fighting pose, channeling magic through his fists. One of the few lessons he learned from Fortuna during his training is the fact that magic enhances physical abilities if channeled correctly. With his power as a god slayer and magical power boost, his strength was three times bigger than it was. "...I can't let you go!"

Kageyam cast a spell that summoned shadow snakes and ordered them to attack Makoto.

For Makoto at the moment, everything seemed to be moving in slow mode, so masterfully dodging the rain of shadow snakes, he leaped towards Kageyama.

"Juggernaut…" Magic started to gather in his right hand. Makoto was ready to use that secret technique he used against Virgo and managed to harm even Erza, but Kage managed to dodge while instead suffering damage from his road bag.

It was ripped, with the insides being torn apart aside from the suspicious flute, which seemed to suffer no damage at all.

"Huh?" Luckster dumbfoundedly looked toward the flute, remembering Erza's words again.

"Lullaby…" Kage said this with anger as he immediately hid the flute from Makoto's eyes. "You bastards aren't coming alive after this!"

Kage dashed towards Makoto again, but this time Natsu grabbed the luckster by the collar and sprinted towards the window.

"W-Wait, Natsu, we..."

"No time for Chit-Chat Makoto... I am barely holding myself.» With that, Natsu and Makoto jumped through the window towards the outside, leaving Kage on the train.

"Where are we even jumping to!?"

Natsu jumped from the window, but he didn't point out the fact that there was nothing soft to land on. So the duo started to fall over a high distance.

Cursing his own bad luck, the luckster hugged his fire-breathing friend, praying that he had a plan.

"AAAAAAAAH!" Makoto screamed only for Natsu's grin to get wider.

"Don't worry! I smell Grey's and others' scents, so they are...»

Their eyes shifted downward, seeing some kind of machine, which Erza was ridding.

"….Over there!"

Falling even faster, Luckster closed his eyes, praying for his luck to act again, and thankfully it did.

Erza noticed both of them, so she got near with them managing to fall right into the car with Natsu crash landing on the metallic roof and Makoto on...

Crash!

Lucy.

"Are you alright, Mako…TO!?"

Noticing that luckster's face was plastered on her breasts, Lucy was about to scream, but Makoto stood fast enough for her to do that.

"I-I-I am sorry!" Face all in red shade luckster started to rapidly apologize to Lucy, who just sighed with a soft smile.

"Don't worry, I'm not mad." Her face was also red enough, but she didn't mind for it to be Makoto who did that.

Makoto, still red, finally remembered about Kageyama, who was still inside the train.

"Erza-san, quick! We need to follow the train!"

The scralet-haired mage, confused, looked towards the luckster, who gulped from the intensity of her glare.

Makoto then explained what happened to Erza, whose eyes were wide open.

"Kageyama from Eisenwald!? He might be the guy whom I saw, and that flute's name is Lullaby?"

Makoto nodded.

"Yes, I think it might be some kind of magic tool, but judging from the way Kageyama was carrying the flute, it might be very important to Eisenwald."

Erza was seemingly concerned about the flute. Meanwhile, Lucy had a rather concerning look on her face. This name of flute was familiar to her; it is... it can't be! The realization finally hit Lucy as she looked towards Erza and Makoto in a rushed tone.

"I know what this tool might be!" She exclaimed, getting everyone's attention. "I read about this flute in one of the books I had... Lullaby is a flute that holds Zeref's curse!"

Upon hearing this name, everyone's eyes beside Makoto's were wide open.

"Zeref?" Makoto confusedly looked toward Lucy.

The blonde-haired girl nodded through a gulp.

"Yes, Zeref is the most evil mage of all time, and this flute holds the curse that sucks away human souls! If this flute is in the hand of Eisenwald, then..."

Erza increased the speed, channeling more mana into the car.

"We need to hurry!"

.

.

.

The train finally stopped at a nearby station and was immediately surrounded by Eisenwald mages, who took control of it almost in an instant.

Kage wasted no time and headed towards Erigor to hand over the lullaby and report the things that happened.

"I brought the flute, Erigor-sama." Kage said, bowing his head to his superior.

The said man had a smirk on his face.

"Good job, Kage. I believe there were no casualties along the way."

To this, however, Kageyama shook his head.

"I was approached by fairy tail mages, but they were pretty much nothing aside from that damn boy with a ahoge on his head."

Erigor widens his eyes.

"Ahoge!?"

Bewildered, he punched Kageyama.

"Fool, we can't let anyone know about our plans yet, and that Ahoge boy... I heard the rumors but didn't believe them at first.»

Kageyama, confused, looked towards Erigor, who sighed, preparing an explanation.

"There is rumor going in this crappy town. It is about a boy with Ahoge who is strong enough to match Titania or even Gildarts himself! You better pray that he isn't among them."

Kageyama gulped, not believing himself. So that guy was really that strong?

Yup, I was banned on Wattpad again, and bruh, I am tired of this shit, fuck Wattpad forever. It seems now I will be posting on both and Webnovel. Also, I am quite happy to see people still reading this story of mine. I know that I am not perfect as an author, but I still hope you like this fic of mine, as I am trying my best to make the grammar as good as possible, so without delay, I am going to say one thing: making Makoto as Lucky God Slayer was a mistake! It seems hard to work with Luck, as no matter what you do, it ends up being too op, and I hate overpowered characters! So I came up with an interesting answer on developing Makoto's power... I left a small hint in today's fighting scene, so I hope you won't figure it out fast because I am saving it for later. Also, to not leave it unsaid, I am kind of sad that I can't express romantic scenes the way I want and they end up bland, but practice makes perfect, so please do stay tuned as a new chapter will be up soon enough!
