Note Raiden and Sub-Zero wear their Injustice 2 outfits and Scorpion wears his Injustice 1 outfit.
Chapter 2
18 year old Wally West finished putting a cast over Barry's leg as he said "That leg's pretty messed up. You gonna be okay, Barry?"
"I will be fine, but it'll take some time to heal. Until then, you'll need to go in my place.." Barry says.
"R-Really?! Alright then. This is gonna be good!" Wally says as he suits up in his mainly red suit with the blue lightning bolt on his chest and his red hair showing out of the top of his mask.
Meanwhile, at the Hall of Justice, the rest of the heroes and kombatants were thinking of what to do.
"So what is the plan?" Shazam asks.
"We acquire additional allies in order to have a greater advantage. Grandmaster Sub-Zero and Scorpion are yet to be accounted for." Raiden says.
"Any way we can find them?" Superman asks.
"Scorpion is hard to trace, but the Lin Kuei temple should be here, appearing by your fortress. We'll start there." Raiden says as he teleports them to the temple entrance, with the time being night.
They enter and see that the temple is dark with only the moon giving light, and the walls are cold with some spots having iced over.
"So we have not met, who is this?" Batman asks.
"The names Johnny Cage, A List celebrity. You all probably seen me in movies like Ninja Mime, or Uncaged." Johhny says.
"Can't say I've seen them. Are they any good." The Flash asks.
"The best. And that's said from personal experience." Cage says.
Though it's not shown, Batman and Flash roll their eyes at this guy.
"So Raiden, how do you know Sub-Zero would be here? Like what if he is not?" Shazam asks.
"I do not know. But it's considered the best course in order to find-" Raiden is interrupted by an ice spear almost hitting him.
They look over and see Sub-Zero and Frost! This should not be, since Sub-Zero excommunicated her. Something was up.
"Kuai Liang! What are you doing!?" Raiden asks as he recovered.
"You all are not welcome in my temple!" Sub-Zero yells with his eyes glowing yellow.
"He is being poisoned by the rage. We need to stop him." Batman says.
Sub-Zero and Frost ice teleport away and some undead Lin Kuei arise to attack the heroes. One of the Lin Kuei jumps at Johnny Cage, with him uppercutting its head off.
"These guys shouldn't be this way!" Johnny yelled. "It's gotta be the Netherrealm!"
Another charges with its sword ready to kill, but Flash quickly zooms over and punches it, saving cage.
"Netherrealm? Is that like-"
"Hell? Yes. But real."
The thought of that scared Flash. Meanwhile, Batman throws his batarangs at three Lin Kuei zombies. stunning two of them, and he breaks the third ones face. Superman uses his ice breath to freeze four of them all at once. Lui Kang then blasts a zombie with a fire ball then kicks another, destroying them. And Shazam grabs two and shocks all the flesh off them until they are skeletons. (Note this is not kid Billy Batson, rather this is mature Shazam.)
Once they finish off them off they are about to continue to find Sub-Zero. However they see the defeated Lin Que getting back up even with major wounds, like one has his stomach gone, another's arm is gone and jaw broken and the skeletons walking and they all look pissed.
"NOT GOOD!" Johnny says with shock.
"RUN!" Wally says as he and the others run to get away from the pissed off Lin Kuei. Him, running faster than the others.
Batman being cool minded throws down a smoke bomb hiding them as they escape.
They escape and take a quick breather then find them-selfs in another part of the temple.
"How could those things still get up?!" Flash asked, panting.
"They're undead. You need to fully destroy them." Liu Kang explained.
They wonder around a bit, then they see Sub-Zero and Frost on a throne.
"Sub-Zero! You need snap out of this! This isn't you!" Lui Kang says.
"WRONG! I and the Lin Kuei are what we were supposed to be since the BEGINNING!" Sub-Zero says with the rage in his eyes burning bright. Under her mask, Frost was smiling sisterly.
"Is this what happened last time I wasn't around?" Johnny asks.
"It's worse." Batman says.
Kaui and Frost jump down ready to fight.
"Undead! Round them up while me and Kuai Liang deal with them!" Frost says as the zombies return to fight the heroes leaving Lui Kang and Shazam to fight.
"I will take Sub-Zero! You take Frost." Kang says
"You mean the female Sub-Zero?" Shazam asks not being serous.
Frost makes some ice daggers and throws them at the Wizard's Champion. He blocks expecting to take no damage, however they pierce his skin causing a cry of pain to come from him. Then Frost jumps and kicks him in the chest knocking him to the ground.
"AGGG! Magic!" Shazam says angry.
"And it's better than yours." Frost says as she's about to stab him with an ice spear but he grabs it and conducts electricity and shocks Frost. He then pulls the spear and slams Frost in the face with it, hard, causing her blood to spill on his fist.
Shazam looks at his hand and sees the blood is blue.
"Blue blood?" Batson asks.
He then sees Frosts eyes going in and out, glowing blue, and hears gears cracking in her face.
"SHE'S A ROBOT?!" Shazam asks surprised but then gets a great idea. The female Lin Kuei throws more punches at the hero, with him taking a few hits, but then grabs her ankle, slamming her on the ground a few times then grabs her by the neck and charges her with electricity until her circuits are fried to not kill her.
"HEROIC BRUTALITY!"
Meanwhile Sub-Zero dodges Lui Kangs punches, with him punching The Sholin Monk in the chest. Liu Kang recovers and throws some flaming fists at the cryomancer. Then jumps in the air and kicks him in the face with fire, knocking him out. The undead Lin Kuei are turned to dust, with no power to energize them, and Sub-Zero wakes up.
"Ugggggg." Kuai Liang says.
"Sub-Zero are you ok?" Raiden asks.
"Yes, Lord Raiden. I'm ok. Thank you." He turns to see the JL members. "We've met before. Heroes from another realm."
"Yep." Wall said. "I'm Flash, this is Batman, Shazam, and Superman." West says zooming to each member.
"I almost forgot how cool you were." Billy joked, but Sub-Zero gave a deadpan expression. But then it got serious when he realized something.
"If you are all here, that could only mean that someone is trying to fuse our worlds again!" Sub-Zero says.
"Indeed and that is why we are here, to see if you can help us. So will you join our team?" Lui Kang asks.
"Of course." Sub-Zero says with a Lin Kuei bow.
"DAMN YOU!" Frost yells in anger. "We could've had the Lin Kuei achieve greatness! But now, you are useless to me!"
"Frost?" Kuai Liang asks before realizing that he must've been under her control.
Suddenly she gets teleported by green smoke. Not one of her powers, but Raiden senses that there was someone else here. Someone with the ability to raise the dead.
The heroes quickly return to the Hall of Justice, but they find Barry Allen gone!
"Barry!?" Wally yells.
Just then they see a shadow crawl out of a wall.
The figure has a ninja look to him and it turns out. Noob Saibot, Sub-Zero's older brother, for Lin Kuei, and now Wraith to the Brotherhood of Shadows.
"Now, you will feel Death's cold embrace." The Wraith spoke in his raspy voice, getting into a fighting stance before the heroes.
