It's been three weeks since Hiccup been staying with his mother.
Emma giggle when being tickled.
Valka ask "so do you plan on going back?"
Hiccup sighs "go back to what? I'm basically a man with a child and no home to welcome me."
Valka sighs "oh, Hiccup."

Astrid walked inside the Meade Hall, over to where Snotlout was sitting down and sternly ask "what did you tell Hiccup because Stoick told me that Hiccup came to check on how the progress of the forge and he didn't appear anywhere. Toothless and Emma are gone too!"
Snotlout smirks "you mean he finally left for good? All it took was me telling him that we consummated after he left three years ago after seeing you kiss me in front of Gobber."
Astrid face turns angry "you did what?!"
She turns around and leaves the Meade Hall "I admit I'm horrible to that boy and made bad choices to hurt him further even after marriage."
She walked home sad.
Once she got home, she walked over to the weapons that Hiccup made for her bride price and cries her heart out "oh, Hiccup! I'm so sorry!"
Ingrid walked downstairs to see her daughter crying hard and ask "what's wrong, daughter?"
Astrid red puffy eyes answers "Snotlout lied to Hiccup about me consummating with him and Hiccup ran away!"
Ingrid grins "then go after him."
Astrid ask "but, I don't know which direction he flew off to."
Ingrid ask "didn't Hiccup say Deadly Nadders were tracker class dragons?"
Astrid widen her eyes and left to go find Hiccup and bring him back home.
She ran outside and jumped on Stormfly and flew in a direction.
An hour later they hover over the sea.
Astrid sighs "the scent must have went cold."
Stormfly heard flapping of wings and turned to the sound to see a Storm Cutter dragon and chirped.
Astrid looked at the dragon to see a rider on a rare dragon and says "follow that dragon girl."
They follow the pair to a ship of some sort.
Valka and Cloudjumper attack the ship and rescue dragons in cages.
Trappers surrounded the rider.
Next they hear sound of whistle and then a plasma blast ripped a hole in one ship.
Men screamed "NIGHT FURY!"
Ships were sunk except for two.
Valka and Cloudjumper open last cage which seem empty but something push her out of the way to freedom.
Valka, Cloudjumper, Night Fury and his rider return to Dragon Sanctuary unaware of Stormfly and Astrid following them.
They land on the island of made of ice.
Astrid got off and followed the pair of riders to a cave inside with grass.
Hiccup got off Toothless and grabbed Emma out of her baby seat.
Emma smiled at her father.
Valka took off her helmet.
Astrid curious about the older woman.
Valka ask "why bring Emma with you to a dragon rescue?"
Hiccup answers "I don't have anyone to watch her."
Astrid sighs and walks out into the opening and says "Hiccup?"
Hiccup and Valka turned to see Astrid standing there.
Valka ask "Astrid Hofferson?"
Astrid corrects her "it's Astrid Haddock."
Valka turns to her son and ask "is there something you forgot to tell me?"
Hiccup answers "I left and signed annulment contract because I didn't want to stay in a unhappy marriage and Astrid here treated me horrible! I don't know why she doesn't go back to her maiden name for" and walks away.
Astrid takes out the folded paper and says "this is annulment contract" and rips it in pieces.
She ran upto him and kissed his lips.
Valka interrupts them "Astrid? Do you accept my son and his daughter?"
Astrid turns to Valka and answers "yes. I been trying to get Hiccup to see that I want a second chance at having a marriage with him after I screwed up so bad, but he won't give me one."
Hiccup nervous walks over to the papers and picked them up to read 'annulment contract', 'Hiccup Haddock and Astrid Haddock'.
He turns to Astrid and says "I was hoping that my death would make you feel worse about yourself. You hurt me, any romantic thing I did for you, you rejected it and threw it in my face!
I don't know why you still want me? You say you want me, but do you know what marriage means to you? When you figure that out, then we can try again."
