Hello and welcome to chapter 3. It has been a week, but I wrote this the day after the second chapter. When I said I have no life, I meant it, this is good because I have time to do this story.
Anyway, I was reading through the second chapter and realized that it moved kinda slow, but I think it was a good thing. Got some character interactions. While making this chapter I received a review that actually kinda helped enlighten me. It was from:

You can check out the whole review in the reviews section and see how I responded, but besides that this person helped me in deciding the future of my story. It said how my story wasn't necessarily changing the Legend of Korra main story line but was adding into it. And I realized that is correct, it was a mistake on my part so when you see this chapter don't worry about seeing the description change a little.
Oh and if you guys think that in my response to Nothingspecial43 was rude or aggressive please don't. As I said in the last chapter I don't understand the difference between speaking aggressive or gentle. Nothingspecial43 contacted me and brought this to my attention. We are not enemies if one of you is thinking that. As a matter of fact Nothingspecial43 has agreed to help give me advice after every chapter. So I would say we are on good terms.
(Okay that seems reasonable, just, next time someone criticizes you too much don't freak out again.)
What do you mean 'freak out'? I wasn't trying to be rude, I really am open to criticism. I mean don't misunderstand I was in the wrong, I should have tried to be more thoughtful when I talk with others but I wouldn't say I freaked out.

Chapter 3: Revelation Part One
Spiderman was swinging on the skyscrapers throughout the city on his nightly patrol. With each swing, he was put deeper into his thoughts.
It has been three days since the Avatar showed up in Republic City. In that time, gangs have been trying to seize more territory from each other. Looks like KingPin's losing his grip, I don't know if I should be happy or worried. On one hand, if they all stayed in line it would take a while to gain enough evidence on Fisk. On the other, if they try to break out of Fisk's rule it would be easier to find evidence, but I would be looking at an all out gang war all over the city. *inhale* *exhale*
*crash*
Spiderman was brought out of his thoughts by the sudden noise. He looked down to see a black Satomobile driving above the speed limit with what looked to be armor on it's side allowing the driver to crash into others knocking over every satomobile it came in contact with while maintaining speed.
"Duty calls." Spiderman said to himself.
He then did a massive swing which allowed him to perform a backflip and and enter into a nosedive. He fell for a couple seconds before shooting a web line from his wrist along the side of a building to thrust him forward causing him to catch up with the vehicle on the left side.
"HEY BUDDY, I DON'T THINK YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO GO THAT FAST" Spiderman yelled while swinging along the side the vehicle. He looked in and could see that there were two light skinned people with black hair. It was one man and one woman, the man was in the drivers seat while the woman was in the passengers. They both wearing green which he assumed meant they were earth kingdom.
"Aww man, its the bug!" yelled the woman before she thrusted one hand up.
Spiderman felt a tingle in his head and looked ahead to see that a chunk of the ground rise in the air. Spidey dodged left and then shot a web line at a building to pull himself higher to land on the roof of the Satomobile. He heard sirens and when he turned around he could see a blue Satomobile with police written on the side.
"SPIDERMAN PULL OVER" he heard come from the speaker of the vehicle behind him as he could see three more appear behind it.
"You know I would but as you can see I'm not in the drivers seat" Spidey said back
Spiderman got a tingle in his head again and looked in front and could see that they were getting closer to traffic. He went up to the wind shield of the vehicle an looked at the two in front.
"Have either of you ever check to make sure there weren't any webs in your gears?" He asked.
"What?" The man asked before Spiderman rolled to the side of the vehicle and stick to the door of the satomobile.
In a quick motion Spiderman shot a web line on the bar connecting the front tires to the vehicle causing the web to get tangled and forcing the front tires to stop moving causing the satomobile to flip forward.
While the vehicle was mid air it was as if time slowed for Spiderman. He jumped forward to get ahead of the satomobile. He then turned his wrist to face a building and shot a web line and did the same with his other wrist to the opposite side. As time seemed to speed up again he tied the two weblines together and stuck it onto the roof of the satomobile.
As the vehicle came crashing down it slid on its side, the weblines stuck to the satomobile began to slow it down until it eventually stopped. Spiderman landed with his knees bent and his left hand to the floor with his right behind him. (Spiderman pose)
He watched as the two came crawling out of the satomobile.
"Man now I'm pissed!" the man said as he got in a fighting pose.
"You're gonna regret that Freak!" the woman shouted at the end as she got in a pose as well.
"Well what are you waiting for? My consent?" Spiderman said in a taunting tone.
Spidey watched as the man did an over head kick straight into the ground causing a giant boulder to rise from the ground only for the woman to punch the air which caused the boulder to go flying straight at him.
Spiderman knew that if he dodged this, it would cause collateral damage to the building behind him so he stuck his arms out infront of him, caught the boulder, and threw it back. at them.
The man raised both his arms and a rock wall rose out of the ground infront of him and the woman protecting them from the boulder and breaking it into many small peices. The man then put the wall back down and the woman launched 4 small rocks at Spiderman. Spiderman dodged them but grabed one
"I think this belongs to you" he said and with incredible strength threw it at the mans forehead knocking him out. The woman then sent off 8 more rocks which made Spidey jump high to avoid the projectiles and was coming down over the criminal when the woman then smiled.
"Looks like you lost bug!" the woman said before launching 14 rocks at him.
Time slowed for Spiderman again, he watched as the rocks came flying at him. So in mid air he began to spin allowing each rock to fly right by him. He then performed an over head kick that connected with the back of the woman's head causing her to bend over and fall to the ground unconscious.
"You know what they say, crack like an egg and you get folded like and omelet." Spidey joked before he heard sirens. He looked around and noticed that he was now being surrounded by police vehicles.
"GET ON THE GROUND SPIDERMAN YOU ARE SURROUNDED" he heard someone say on the speakers. He looked above and saw as an air ship flew above his location.
Then an airship began to open and he watched as four people jumped down. Along their descend the shot out of the wrist of their uniforms metal cables to slow their fall.
"Great metalbenders," Spidey said to himself. He looked at the metal benders and recognized the one who stood in front of the others. He is a captain of the Republic City Police Department, Captain George, but to Peter, he was more.
"It's over Spiderman, time for you to pay for your crimes" he said.
"What crimes officer?" Spiderman tried to joke.
"Vigilantisism, breaking and entering, destruction of personal and city property, resisting arrest, and two counts of murder." he replied with an angered look on his face.
"But I didn't kill Normn Osborn and -"
"And nothing, his son grieves for his lost father, as I grieve for my lost daughter! Their blood is on your hands!" George shouted.
Spiderman knew that there was no way to talk his way out of this and metalbenders were capable of moving similar to his web swinging. If he was to get out of this he was not going to be easy.
His spider senses went off as one of the men shot a cable line at him. Peter caught it an pulled with enough strength that sent the man flying toward him only to be greeted in the face with a ball of five fingers. The man was knocked out by such a blow and laid flat on the floor.
Everything happened so fast the George and the other men were confused which gave Spidey a great idea.
RUUUUUNNNNNN he thought loudly in his mind. As he turned to the crashed Satomobile only to run and jump off of it to inhuman heights and web swinging away.
The metalbenders followed, shooting metal cables from their suits wrists to stick to the sides of buildings to to follow.
Spiderman did everything he could think of to lose them. He went high, he went low, he made sharp right turns, he made left turns, but they were still on him.
"Dang it, I can't lose them." he said to himself. As he kept going he realized he was back a the scene of the crash and came up with an idea.
If this doesn't work I might be screwed he thought. He then shot a web line to the armored vehicle and pulled up.
The satomobile went flying into the air forcing the metal benders to slow down to dodge the vehicle. After the vehicle crashed down to the floor they looked forward to try and find Spiderman but it was to late, he was gone.
George gritted his teeth
"SPIDERMAN I WILL CATCH YOU AND WHEN I DO I WILL MAKE SURE YOU NEVER SEE THE LIGHT OF DAY EVER AGAIN" he shouted.
Peter managed to get back to his apartment without being seen and entered his kitchen to get a glass of water.
"* gulp* Haaaaaaaaaa. Gwen if only you could see just how much you mean to your old man."
He then walked to his room and opened his closet to get a fresh pair of sleep wear. He then walked to his bathroom placed the clothes down undress and enter his shower.
He felt the water splashing on his face, it was cold just like that night...
flashback*
"WAIT, wait please" Peter said gripping his stomach with his left hand and sticking out his right hand. He was in his Spiderman suit but it was badly damaged.
The left torso side was completely gone, the suits right leg was shredded, the right glove had scratches and the fingers of the left glove were gone. His eye lenses carried ash and his left lense was cracked, he had scratches on his flesh everywhere and was bleeding so much the cold rain water couldn't wash it away.
"AHAHAHAHAHHAHA" an evil laugh could be heard.
Infront of Peter was a man in an all dark metallic green armor suit with a belt wrapped around his waist with orange balls attached to it. He wore a metal helmet in the shape of some sort of monster face, and the eye lenses were golden (William Defoe suit). His left arm was sticking out and by his hand he was holding a young lady with blonde white hair. The green man was on top of some sort of metal contraption that shot fire out small fire rays from the bottom allowing him to float in the air (imagine the board from Amazing Spiderman 2)) From here it can be noticed that our hero is on top of a building high in the sky with the green man and white haired lady hovering over the edge.
"I gave you a chance and you threw it away. Now you are just paying for the consequences of your insolence. " the man said
"No, not like this! Take me instead! Goblin please!"
"Now as pleasing as that sounds I'm gonna have to turn you down, the same way you did to me."
"Peter!" the young lady said.
"Gwen, Gwen look at me alright. You're gonna be fine I'm gonna get you out of this alright." Peter said back
"Well Spiderman the only way I can see her getting out of this is if she went down." Goblin said. "So how about we stop postponing the inevitable". Goblin the opened his hand allowing Gwen to fall.
"NOOOOOO" Peter said as he ran to the side of the building. He jumped off and dived towards Gwen.
He realized he wasn't going to catch up with her so he shot a web line after her and when it connected to her he placed his hand on the building and stuck to it. But the force of the momentum was to great it caused the web to snap and forcing her to crash into the ground.
Peter's heart skipped a beat when he saw this and he dropped down to check on her and landed a couple feets away from her.
The web line connected, it could have slowed her fall he thought.
"Gwen?" he called as he began to walk towards her.
"Gwen?" He repeated as he now stood over her.
He got on his knees and put his hand to her neck.
No pulse.
He then quickly placed his head on he chest.
No heartbeat.
"No no no no no no no no no." he said holding Gwen in his arms.
"NOOOOO" he cried "Gwen wake up you gotta wake up right now, come on please!" He said. as tears poured in his mask. He then placed her back down on the ground, rose up, and started taking a few steps back.
"GAH DAMN IIIIIIIIIIIIIT" he shouted to the sky.
Suddenly a crowed of people began to form around. They looked at the girl on the floor and Spiderman next to her.
"Spiderman just killed that girl!" someone shouted.
People gasped and whispered. Then a commotion began to erupt and someone came walking through the crowed to the front. He had white hair and was wearing a metalbender uniform. It was captain George, Gwen's father.
"THAT'S MY DAUGHTER" he yelled "YOU KILLED MY DAUGHTER"
The Captain then shot out a cable line at Peter. Peter jumped then started swinging away.
end of flashback*
Peter then fell to the shower floor sobbing and weeping. He stayed like that for a couple of seconds until he looked up.
I will never let what happened to Gwen happen to anyone else on my watch he thought in a serious tone.
He then finished his shower, changed his clothes and walk into his room.
He opened his closet and saw inside a box. He took it out opened it and inside saw three files. One was titled Fisk, the other Equalist, and the last one Connors.
He took out the file that said Connors and inside was a map with four red circles on it.
He could anywhere but if I were a trying to hide away these are the places I would go. he thought as he looked at the map. One circle was on the abandoned docks, one was near the park, one was on Aang's monument and the last was on airbender island.
Well better head to bed. The sooner I get the day over with the better.
Korra was tired, the previous night she joined a pro-bending team named the Fire Ferrets and helped them win a match allowing them to enter in a finals tournament, it also helped her in using airbending for the first time.
She was now in a grey patted suit with a blue waist band. In front of her were her two team mates Mako and Bolin, they are brothers who shared similar looks with litte differences. Mako was older than Korra by one year, he had yellow eyes and black hair combed forward. Bolin was a year younger than Korra, shared similar looks to Mako but was more pulp with green eyes and hair combed to the back. They both were wearing the same gear as Korra with the only difference being that Bolin had a green waistband and Mako had a red one.They were catching and tossing a weighted ball to one and other going in one direction.
"Why are we training in the morning exactly? Mornings are evil." Korra said as she caught and tossed the ball to Bolin.
"We're the rookies so we get the worst time slot to use the gym." Bolin explained as he caught and tossed the ball to Mako.
"And you're the rookiest out of all of us so we need to get you up to speed. Deal with it!" he said with anger as he threw the ball at Korra with extra force.
Korra's face turned frustrated as she prepared to throw the ball back at him.
"You deal with it!" she shouted as she threw the ball at Mako hard causing him to go flying backwards four feet. This put a smile on Korra's face.
"There are my little hard working street erchins." they heard someone say.
They all turned to the entrance of the gym to see a large man in a suit and top hat walking over to them.
"Nice to finally meet you Avatar: The man said as he patted her on the back.
"And you are?" she asked.
"My names Butakha," he said taking off his ha in respect and putting it back on "I run this pro-bending shabang."
Korra then walked away to let the boys talk to the man. From where she was standing she could see the man hand Mako a stack of money only for him to tke it back in portions. They talked some more and Korra saw as Bolin grabbed his stomach then watched as Bolin screamed.
"THIRTY THOUSAND YUANS?!"
They exchanged some words then the man left and Korra walked back to her teammates.
"You wouldn't happen to have a secret Avatar bank account filled with gold would you" Bolin turned and asked Korra.
"Sorry but I've got nothing. I've only ever had people take care of me." Korra replied.
"Then you don't have nothing." Mako said as he put the ball in a bag " We're going to need that money if we want to enter the tournament. Don't worry though, I'll think of something. I always do." Mako said before walking away.
"Sorry about Mako, it's just, ever since we lost our parents we've been on our own.
"Oh, I'm sorry I didn't know" Korra apologize
"Don't worry about it, and about the money, I'm sure we'll figure something out." he said as he walked away as well.
I bet Spiderman doesn't have to pay to pursue what he enjoys. Korra thought
Peter was now sitting outside on a school table for lunch reading the paper from the Daily Bugle. He was surprised that the front page wasn't about Spiderman but the Avatar.
Avatar Korra Joins Probending Team For Fun, Or Training?
The caption read with a picture below that shows Korra in probending gear with her hands in the air as she smiled.
It's weird seeing J.J publish something to defend a person. Peter thought as he stared at the picture.Well at least she's enjoying herself. Once someone gets into this life, they don't tend to keep smiling.
After school was over Peter changed into his Spiderman suit and went out to the locations he circled on his map in search for the missing doctor. Peter didn't know what was worse, if he was at one of the locations or if he wasn't.
If he's in any of these places then anyone in the area will be in danger. And if he's not he could be anywhere in the city doing who knows what. Peter thought.
I can't have him encounter anyone before me. Especially not after last time.
flashback*
Peter was running down a white hall as fast as he possibly could. When he reached the end he turned left to see doors and written on them read
Fisk Industries Department Biology
Peter entered and saw a giant room with lots of desks and science equipment, but only one man stood there.
The man had blonde hair and had glasses. He wore a white lab coat, but what was most not worthy was that the front half of his right arm was gone. In the man's left hand he held a syringe filled with a green liquid. He began to stab the needle into his right arm.
"CONNERS STOP" Peter yelled but it was to late. Conners injected the serum into his body. At first he was fine, but then he began to shake as he grabbed his head.
"AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH" Connors yelled in agony as Peter watched his body change. His skin turned dark green and rough, his eyes changed from brown to yellow, his hand began to grow claws and his right arm really surprised Peter. He watched as it began to grow outward white until it stopped and peeled off revealing a new arm the same as his other. His feet began to grow breaking out of his shoes and forming claws. Peter watched as he saw a commotion was happening under the lab coat, he saw white flesh poke out and kept growing until it peeled off to reveal a green tail. When it was over, Conners stopped yelling and looked at himself, his new form
"AMAZING!" He screamed. "I feel amazing, I feel strong, I feel powerful. This is it this is the next step, the final stage of human evolution. People believed that it would have something to do with bending, BUT I PROVED THEM WRONG!"
"Conners what have you done?" Peter said
"Peter" he said turning to him "I have done it, I have finally found the answer to all our problems. In our normal bodies we are fragile but with this the human race will be perfected"
"Conners we need to fix you, right now"
"If you are not with me" Conners said as he walked over to Peter "Then you are in the way."
In a quick motion he grabbed Peter by the throat and tossed him straight out of the lab doors. Peter pretended to run away in fear but then ran to the nearest exit and changed into his suit.
Peter entered the building through the ventilation system and dropping down into the lab, where Conners was messing with viles of liquid.
"Spiderman" Conners said turning to him.
"Hey doc, love the look."
"Flattery will get you nowhere. Why are you here?"
"Well I was in the neighborhood and my spider sense went nuts so I came to see what all the fuss is about."
"There is no fuss" Conners replied "The only thing happening here is evolution."
"Evolution?" Peter faked asking in a confusing tone.
"Surely you can agree that the human bodies are weak and out dated. Well I'm going to update them."
"Sorry doc but I don't think turning people to lizard monsters is legal." Spiderman said as he began to walk towards the mutated doc "Let's get you back to normal and pretend this never happened
"I knew you'd try to stop me which is why I'm not sorry for this"
Suddenly Conners threw a vile of liquid at Spiderman that exploded when it landed on him causing him to fall backwards. Peter jumped back up only for Conners to grab him by the neck and slam him back into the floor.
"FREEZE" they both heard someone yell.
Connors reached into his coat pocket and pulled out another vile of liquid. He slammed it into the ground and a large amount of smoke formed. Conners then let go of Peter and ran.
As the smoke cleared Peter heard a ruckus above him. When he looked up he saw scratch marks in the vent he entered from and went back in it. Peter chased after the doctor until he was out of the vent but Conners was nowhere to be seen
"Dang it" Peter said to himself.
It was sunset and getting darker, Peter had already searched the park and Aang's monument and was swinging towards the docks.
Man who would have guessed swimming to Aangs monument and back would be so tiring. Good thing that was the first place I checked so I could let my clothes dry.
As he approached his destination he began to slow down. He landed and began his search.
Now if I were a six foot lizard man where would I be.
He searched for a couple minutes trying to ensure he would search every inch of the area.
Well I guess it's safe to assume he isn't here. Better check Airtemple Island.
Just as he was about to leave he saw a light emerge from a nearby warehouse.
That can't be right, this doc is abandoned.
He then headed towards the light and when he came close his spider-senses tingled and he hid in a dark alley way as he watched two people walk by.
"Well it's almost time we came out of the shadows." one of them said
"Yeah, I'm tired that we aren't taken seriously just because we can't bend." the other replied.
"When the others come with the Triple Threat Triad leader, the city will learn just how dangerous the Equalists can be."
They Equalists are planning on kidnapping Lightning Bolt Zolt? I better go stop them before they get themselves killed. Peter thought as he existed the docks quickly without being seen.
Korra was quickly moving through the streets on the outer side of Republic City with Mako on top of Naga, her loyal pet polarbear dog. They were out searching for Bolin and were tipped off that he was taken to the Triple Threats for a job.
"Where are we going?" Korra asked.
"The Triple Threat Triad headquarters." Mako answered
"Triple Threat Triad? I beat up some of those yahoos when I got into town why would Bolin get involved wi--"
She was cut off when Naga began to chase after some thing until it ran up a light pole.
"That's Pabu." Mako said as they looked to see a red ferret.
Korra then pulled on Naga
"No Naga, Pabu is a friend not a snack." Korra said as Pabu slid down the pole and stared at Naga.
Naga then sniffed the ferret and allowed it to climb on top of her until it rested on Makos shoulders.
"We must be getting close." Mako said as Korra got Naga to run forward.
They eventually arrived in front of a building when Mako told Korra to stop.
"That's weird" Mako said "There are usually guards outside. Move in quietly."
He then rushed infront of the establishments door and watched as Korra slowly walked up to it and kick the door open.
"I said quietly." Mako said irritated and entered with Korra as Naga followed in behind. They looked around only to see no one anywhere.
"Where is everybody?" Mako questioned.
Then they heard the noise of a loud engine and rushed out the back to an ally only to see people dressed in black and wearing strange masks with goggles were on top of bikes and in a truck.
When they looked in the truck they saw Bolin tied up and a cloth over his mouth as one of the strange men closed the door
"Bolin!" Mako yelled. Then the people on bikes threw two strange canisters that emitted a green smoke that was hard to see in and drive away.
As they drove off Korra and Mako got on top of Naga and chased after them.
When they caught up Mako hung off the side of Naga and shot fire out to the people on bike, but they dodged. Korra then earthbent sending one of the bikes up but only for the person to make a recovery landing.
Eventually they came to an open space and the people on bike stopped as one of them threw a wire that wrapped around Naga's feet causing her to fall over sending Mako and Korra flying off until they hit the ground.
When they recovered they saw that two of the four people were running up to them. Korra shot off some fire only for them to dodge.
One person ran up to Korra so she tried to fight him off. With every punch she did with fire the person either countered or dodged, so she backed up and began to use kicks only for the person to do the same but better without bending. When this person got close, it he threw jabs at specific points on Korra's arm causing her to feel a rush of pain.
Mako wasn't doing any better. With every attack he threw the other assailant would dodged and hit him with a barrage of jabs in specific spots of his body. Mako eventually succumbed to the pain and collapsed to the ground with Korra right behind. As they laid helpless the two assailants began walking towards them until,
"INNNNCOMMMMMINNG" they heard someone yell.
Then out of the sky something swooped down fast knocking both of the people back. As Korra looked up she saw someone she didn't expected to see again, least of all tonight.
"What are you guy's doing out so late, isn't it past your bedtime?" Spiderman said to the assailants with a mocking tone.
