When Voldemort returns from the dead, the Order of the Phoenix makes drastic measures to ensure the lives of the Potter family. So, with Albus Dumbledore's guidance, they summon a hero from across the multiverse to save them. They weren't expecting a foul mouthed, Dark Lord slaying, monster befriending wizard to be revealed and they definitely didn't expect it to be little Harry Potter, murdered by Lord Voldemort on that dreadful Halloween night all those years ago.

Chapter Four: The Order Meeting
In the days that followed Harry's arrival to this new universe, he had never been pranked so viciously before. If he had thought George and Fred were bad, he never would have imagined the chaos that came with the "New Marauders"!
His hair has been turned at least three different colors (green, purple and white respectively), he had woken up two separate times in Potter Lake floating on his mattress and they even had stolen his wand and hidden it in the Manor. However, that last one had gotten them into a lot of trouble.
He had a feeling that none of the boys would be snatching any wands after facing a furious Harry, Molly, Cassie and Lily. Of course, Harry could have simply summoned his wand but they needed to learn to never steal any wizard's wand especially in these dark days.
When he wasn't getting pranked or getting drilled by Hermione and Clarissa (with both girls glowering at each other at the same time), Harry spent his days either trying to hunt down horcruxes with the Marauders, Severus and Tom or creating a syllabus for his class at Hogwarts.
Harry was the brand new Duelling professor and he was ecstatic to start classes.
A brand new elective at Hogwarts, Duelling was accompanied by two other electives: Healing and Spell Creation. Muggle Studies and History of Magic were getting completely redone as well, Harry had heard from Lily who was the new Muggle Studies professor and who was incredibly excited about it. Another mandatory class was being added as well: Physical Education. He looked forward to seeing the students reaction to that.
All of the new professors would be Order members, Harry had found out. Delphi Dumbledore, Tom's daughter and Clarissa's mother, was the new Healing professor and Harry was completely blown away when he met the woman. Unlike her daughter and father, she was polite and warm and had a welcoming aura that was more in line with Lily Potter.
The Slytherin traits must skip a generation, Harry mused when he saw Clarissa greet her mother cordially and the brown haired woman had simply swept her daughter into her arms and began fussing over her.
And when he wasn't doing those things, Harry was doing something even more important than defeating Voldemort (again).
"Good job, Poppy!" Harry said brightly as the girl zoomed past him on her broom. The chatterbox was quiet for once, too focused on finding the tiny golden snitch. Harry was above her, coaching her as she darted around wildly. He was going to teach her every trick in his Quidditch arsenal. From what a groaning McGonagall had told him, Gryffindor had lost three years in a row thanks to Clarissa Prewitt and that was sickening to him.
While Poppy zoomed around, he had Charlie doing the same exact thing. He was the current Seeker and while he was decent enough, he was no Harry Potter. Harry would fix that, however. No brother of his would half-ass Quidditch.
"You spotted the snitch before we left the ground," Clarissa said lazily, coming up from behind him. "So did I."
"Where the hell did you get your Seeker skills?" He complained half-heartedly. "I can't imagine your mother getting on a broom."
"Dad was the best beater that Gryffindor had," Clarissa shrugged, "Along with Uncle Fabian. Mum says I get his flying ability, but you're good. Better than me, in fact."
"Made it on the team my first year," He replied smugly. Clarissa scowled at him and began flying towards Fred and George who were beating a bludger back and forth. "What's wrong?" Harry called after her with a laugh, "Didn't do that, did you?"
Harry's eyes scanned across the pitch again. His eyes caught down below where Daisy Dudley and Eileen Snape were chatting by a large oak tree.
The Dursleys had arrived today and it was a very strange reunion for Harry. They were nothing like what he expected. Petunia, while still blonde-haired and skinny, had her sister's pretty face and warm eyes and had hugged Harry tightly when she saw him. Vernon had the Crabbe look to him, being a large man with thinning hair and a big mustache but he had clapped Harry on the back and smiled at him like Harry had never seen.
Dudley was another surprise. He had a handsome look to him, muscular and tall with his mother's blonde hair in a stylish cut and a roguish grin on his face. And Daisy…Daisy was adorable. She was small and thin with long brown hair and big blue eyes and immediately hugged him tightly. A true Hufflepuff, Lily had said teasingly. Petunia and Vernon had laughed, nothing but pride in their eyes.
This place was weird for sure, Harry mused as he ducked a bludger. He almost wished he could stay but Hermione would rip him a new one if he did. He could never abandon his friends.
With a dip and a dive, he ducked around the children gleefully, doing all sorts of dangerous tricks that had Charlie and Aries hooting with excitement. Harry was very good at getting a crowd riled up. The Cannon's coach had nearly cried when he left the team.
He only stopped and landed when Molly called for dinner. Dinner always made him feel better in this strange place because it felt so much like the Burrow at times. Sure, the decor was a bit fancier and glassware shined a bit brighter and there were always house elves around.
(There was a slightly mad one named Selmy that had it out for the ginger witch that had stolen her kitchen.)
It almost could be home, Harry mused lightly as he watched George pelt Ron with a roll and Ron, Neville and Charlie retaliated by whipping spoonfuls of mashed potatoes at the cackling twins, all while Hermione lectured them loudly. Harry just put up a wandless and silent shield over himself and little Poppy and kept eating.
"Impressive, Mr. Potter," Tom Dumbledore said softly as Molly began scolding her children loudly while Lily dragged Charlie away.
Harry shrugged. "Well, we can't have taters getting into Poppy's pretty braids, can we, Miss Poppy?"
Poppy giggled loudly. "Yeah!" He winked at her and she giggled again, going right back to her meal.
Harry's eyes roamed almost contentedly across the room. This was nice but he was more excited about the Order meeting that would happen afterwards. Dumbledore (the Elder) had received news from his secret spy that was not Severus Snape, Sirius had tidbits from the Ministry (although Harry just assumed it was about that hag Umbridge and he was looking forward to dealing with her) and he going to find out about the new classes at Hogwarts and the Order members that were going to teach alongside him.
He really, truly was going to enjoy teaching Dueling.
Finally dinner ended and Molly ushered the children out of the dining room. Cassie gave Harry a wink and made the grumpy kids follow her towards the other end of the Manor.
"Welcome to the first Order meeting since Mr. Harry Potter's arrival in our world!" Albus said cheerfully, grinning at them. "Can we give him a warm welcome?" Scattered "hellos" and "welcomes" came from across the table and he had to smirk when Sirius rose and gave him a dramatic bow.
"Thanks for having me," Harry said, just as cheerful as the old wizard, "I look forward to working with all of you."
"Now then, it seems we have everyone here. Harry, I assume you know most of these people?" Albus asked.
"I do, yes." Harry replied. "We can skip the introductions, I think."
"Oh good," Albus said. "First matter at hand. My spy has contacted me. He has news of several raids that Lord Voldemort intends to take part in. My spy did not mention Mr. Potter so we can assume that Voldemort and his Death Eaters know nothing of that."
"Then we have the upper hand on that account," Mad Eye said gruffly. "Good. But we cannot afford to relax, Albus. As you know…"
"CONSTANT VIGILANCE!" Harry bellowed. Emmeline Vance, sitting two seats down, gave a little start and nearly fell off her chair. Several Order members were startled, including Remus Lupin to Harry's surprise. Tonks didn't move a muscle; she simply smirked.
"Precisely, Mr. Potter," Mad Eye said with a smug smile.
"You're quite right, Alastor," Albus said with a chuckle. "And you as well, Mr. Potter. We will remain vigilant of deceit and traitors. Now, my spy informs me of three raids that are planned before September 1st. On July 30th, Holyhead will be attacked by a group lead by Bellatrix Lestrange. On August 14th, Godric's Hollow will be attacked by a group led by Lucius Malfoy. Finally, on August 29th, Ottery St. Catchpole will be attacked by a group led by Fenrir Greyback. We can assume, Arthur, that the last raid will be primarily focused on you."
"Molly and I were worried about that…" Arthur started slowly. "So, we've relocated our home. We're located in the outskirts of Wigtown, Scotland now. The Lovegoods and Diggory's are still there. Xeno is too preoccupied to worry about leaving and Amos doesn't believe me about Voldemort. You know how he is?"
"A git?" Sirius offered.
"Sirius!" Lily scolded.
"Some things stay the same then, I suppose," Harry commented.
"Please, Sirius," Albus said quietly. "The man has lost his only son recently. He can afford to be cold."
"That's not coldness, Albus," Harry said dryly. "It's stupidity and arrogance. If you need me, I'll be there."
"I'd like you at all three raids, if possible," Albus replied. "My spy is still investigating possible Horcruxes but there is a possibility that Voldemort has given one to young Draco Malfoy. My spy believes it to be a Malfoy heirloom, a pocket watch with a golden abraxan inscribed on it."
"So how do we get it from the little bastard?" James asked roughly.
"I'll work some magic." Harry said, wiggling his fingers.
"If you can manage in school, that would be most appreciated, Mr. Potter." Albus nodded. "When the dates draw closer, we'll discuss who will be going and who will be staying."
"He may be attacking Godric's Hollow to decimate Harry's grave," Tom Dumbledore said softly, his eyes locked onto James and Lily. "Have you discussed moving it elsewhere?"
"The grave in Godric's Hollow is empty," Lily said quietly, gripping her husband's hand and avoiding Harry's eyes. "We simply let people think that's where he's buried. He's in the Potter Mausoleum on the Manor's grounds."
Smart, Harry thought to himself.
Tom tilted his head with a nod. "Are there any Order members residing in Holyhead?"
"My apartment is in Holyhead," Tonks offered. "But I planned on moving out of it soon."
"Perhaps you leave sooner than you originally planned," Albus offered. "Is your new residence ready to move in?"
Harry's lips quirked when a slight smile appeared on her face and her steel gray eyes flicked to Remus.
"It should be," She reassured them. "I'll be there during the raid."
"Good, good," Albus said, clapping his hands together. "That's all my spy had for me. Sirius, I assume your information from the Ministry is the same as mine."
"If it's about that crazy Umbridge lady," Sirius said dryly. "Then yes."
Harry cleared his throat and leaned forward when all eyes locked on him. "In my world, I had to deal with Dolores Umbridge. She ruined Defense Against the Dark Arts. She taught us nothing and if we spoke up or "misbehaved", she had us writing lines with a Blood Quill. I still have the scar to show for it." He lifted his hand and heard the loud gasps at the faded scar. "I won't let that happen again. I would like to deal with her if it goes that far."
"Very well, Mr. Potter," Albus said after a moment. "If you believe you can. While Minister Fudge has decreed her the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, he has no control over any of the new classes we're introducing this year. Among them are Dueling, Healing, Spell Creation and Physical Education. I am very thankful for those that agreed to teach this year. Professor Binns has finally decided to pass over so we'll have a new History of Magic professor as well."
"We have to protect the students." Alice Longbottom said firmly with several other members quietly cheering.
"I will remain in the school in an administrative position," Tom said dryly, with a look that said he was not pleased to be thrown out of his position. "Mr. Potter will be taking over Dueling under the guise of a distant relative to James. Lily will remain as the Muggle Studies teacher. My daughter, Delphi, is taking up Healing and she's very excited to do so. Emmeline Vance will become the new Spell Creation professor and Mr. Black has agreed to teach the Physical Education class. Finally, Remus will be returning as the History of Magic professor."
"I look forward to it." Remus said. "I always enjoyed history and it seemed a shame that Binns focused only on Goblin rebellions."
"And Spell Creation is going to be so much fun!" Emmeline said brightly.
"All of us can keep an eye on Umbridge and help Harry when necessary." Sirius said firmly.
"Agreed," Tom said softly, a look in his eyes that reminded Harry far too much of the Tom Riddle of his world.
The meeting continued on. Harry stayed mostly quiet, preferring to observe and absorb the new information. Cornelius Fudge was the current Minister but he probably wouldn't be soon with Percy Weasley gaining so much ground and loyalty from different parts of the Ministry and the community. From James and Sirius' accounts, Fudge was slowly pulling away from them and into Lucius Malfoy's folds. Sirius noted that Narcissa Malfoy was sure to have a hand in that. She was commonly used as a seducer in Malfoy's plots.
Of course, now Harry had a few plans in mind.
Number One: Retrieve the horcrux at any cost. Severus ran a Potions shop in Hogsmeade so he wasn't too far away but Tom was the Head of Slytherin and kept an eye on the children of noted Death Eaters. Included in this was Draco Malfoy, Gregory Goyle, Vincent Crabbe, Theodore Nott, Pansy Parkinson and Blaise Zabini.
Harry remembered Blaise and his mother, dangerous Isabella Zabini, being neutral in the war but apparently she was a vicious Death Eater and loyal to the cause.
Number Two: Make sure Umbitch doesn't hurt anyone. The moment that woman even looked funny at a student, he would take her ass down. No one was going to go through what he did, especially not his alternate universal siblings. Harry was thankful Poppy would be staying home with James. That little ray of sunshine didn't need to be anywhere near Dolores Umbridge.
Number Three: Information gathering. Know thy enemy well, as Hermione always said. He needed to do research on the Malfoy family. If a family heirloom was one horcrux, then Abraxus Malfoy probably chose artifacts that were close to his family. No Harry in this world either so there would be no living horcrux, so truly he only has six to look out for.
He had his work cut out for him, Harry thought as he watched Sirius flicked a Bertie's bean at James. Harry's lip curled into a confident smile. It would be hard but honestly he was looking forward to.
After all, this is exactly what heroes do.
