Chapter 4: Friends reunite
During his travel to Mustafar Darth Sidious had too sensed Anakin's fury on the clones too and made him grow a wicked grind that's likely Anakin was falling to the dark side after all.
Soon enough he had arrived at Mustafar…
And was soon greeted by Viceroy Gunray and the Separatists.
"My Lord this is an unexpected pleasure. If we known you were coming we would have prepped you a proper arrival." Viceroy said.
"Has everything been set as I asked Viceroy?" Darth Sidious asked.
"As you requested my lord." Viceroy said.
"It is finished then. You have done well Viceroy…but now you will all experience the full power of the dark side." Darth Sidious said.
To Viceroy's surprise the Sith Lord ignites his crimson lightsaber.
And begun attacking and killing the Separatists like Anakin did in the original timeline.
I suppose you could say in this one it was like: If you want something done right you gotta do it yourself.
Palpatine slaughters the Separatists with pleasure and glee as he laughed at killing them all.
When it was down to Victory he pleaded for mercy.
But the evil Sith Lord's response was deactivating his lightsaber which Gunray thought he was sparring him with but he could not have been more wrong.
Sidious actually raised his hands and blasted Force lighting at him.
Frying Gunray to death in agony, poor Victory yelled in pain begging for his life but the Sith Lord showed no mercy and kept frying him until Gunray was killed in seconds.
Palpatine had killed all the Separatists and laughed like the monster he is…
With or without Anakin on his side his plan to take over the galaxy was now in motion.
Meanwhile Obi-Wan still meets up with Yoda and Senator Bail Organa and they still suggest on going back to the Jedi Temple to deactivate the retreat message telling any surviving Jedi to come back to the Chamber…
Once they do, they arrive back at Coruscant. Palpatine wasn't there to address a meeting with the Senate to set in the newly Galactic Empire…YET so they didn't need to be sneaky without alerting the senate.
So Obi-Wan and Yoda still infiltrate the Jedi Temple and fight off the clones still there.
And even found Jedi that didn't make it during Operation: Knightfall but hardly any Younglings and none of them killed by a lightsaber.
And soon enough after Obi-Wan recalibrates the code telling any surviving Jedi to stay away from the temple he and Yoda sensed a familiar presence on the stairs.
It lead them both up to Council Chambers and it was locked and Obi-Wan ignited his lightsaber to burn it down but it opened from the inside…
It was Anakin.
And behind him were the surviving Younglings.
"Anakin…" Obi-Wan said.
"Obi-Wan…thank the Force you're alive." Anakin said.
Anakin and Obi-Wan grinned to each other and hugged, patting their shoulders and it wasn't long till Anakin noticed Master Yoda.
"Master Yoda…it's good you made it back in one peace." Anakin said.
"Good it is to see made it back you have as well Young Skywalker. Successful you were on protecting the Padawans." Yoda said.
"I wish I can say the same about everyone else." Anakin said.
"Anakin what happened here?" Obi-Wan asked.
"We been betrayed, Master. The Chancellor was behind everything including the War. He's the Sith Lord we been looking for since Master Qui-Gon's death. He created the clones army to kill us all. Master Windu tried to stop him but the Chancellor was too powerful. I kept the Younglings up here to protect them…Master Shaak Ti…sacrificed her life to save mine. I hid up here with the Younglings to keep the clones from finding them. I don't know what happened to the others." Anakin explained.
"So the Chancellor was playing both sides of the war this whole time. How could we not know this?" Obi-Wan asked.
"Clouded our vision was. Strong is the dark side now." Yoda said.
"So what'd we do now?" Anakin asked.
"Well first we need to take the Younglings someplace safe. The temple is too dangerous right now." Obi-Wan said.
"I agree. And find and destroy the Sith we must." Yoda said.
"But we don't know where he is. I can't sense him at the Senate. Even if he was there we wouldn't get in without being spotted." Anakin said.
"I might know where he is." Obi-Wan said.
Anakin and Yoda looked at Obi-Wan in curiosity.
"Before my troops turned on me I overheard Grievous sending the Separatists to the Mustafar system. With his identity now out in the open it's possible he retreated there with them." Obi-Wan said.
"There's no time to lose. We must go and arrest him and the Separatists." Anakin said.
"To confront this Darth Sidious strong enough neither one of you are." Yoda said.
"Maybe not alone Master. But if Anakin and I go together we might have a chance." Obi-Wan said.
"Maybe indeed. But fear for your lives I do. Strong is Sidious. Stooped he must be. Worth your lives, it is not." Yoda said.
"We have to at least try Master. The Sith cannot win this war." Anakin said.
"Hmm…I agree. Go you and Obi-Wan will. Stop the Sith you must. And May the Force be with both of you." Yoda said.
The Grand Master Jedi walked to attend to the Younglings.
As Obi-Wan and Anakin turned to one another.
"Are you ready?" Obi-Wan asked.
"Yes but…I have to check in with something first. I'll meet you at the landing pads." Anakin said.
