Narrator- In the city, Teresa walked as casually as she could whilst being followed by Thomas, who was hidden by his Wicked uniform. It wasn't uncommon for her to be escorted by soldiers every once in a while; she is essential personnel. But her heartbeat was all over the place, going from erratic to uneven every few seconds. She was nervous, scared, even a little angry. She knew what she was doing would be seen as traitorous to the cause she full-heartedly believed in, but did she really have a choice? No, not with Thomas against her when they once stood on the same side; a gun to her back and anger rolling off him like smoke. Anger for Wicked, for her, enough to power the city. Reaching the inside of the main floor, Teresa walked through the scanner and breathed a small sigh of relief at the positive ping of the sensors. Again, she thought back on the time when Thomas could walk through them too, recognized as Wicked personnel. Now, she was sneaking him in as a rebel, a traitor, a threat. Being so lost in thought, Teresa did not realize the other Wicked soldier that had appeared in front of her. She watched as Thomas looked the soldier up and down, recognizing each other, then the red soldier joined them, walking on the other side of Teresa. On they walked through the building, making their way to the stairwell, when another soldier joined them, taking place in front of Teresa. Using her thumbprint, Teresa opened the door to the stairs, the boys flanking behind her, guns pointed and heads on a swivel.

Gally stopped them so he could break into the grid system while Thomas communicated with Fry and Brenda on the walkie talkie. Once Gally placed the device, they continued on their way to the third level. Once they reached the door, Gally communicated with Lawrence, informing them of their position, but no one responded. Thomas and Newt started to worry, knowing they couldn't move until the cameras were taken care of, but Gally, unsure himself, reassured them Lawrence would do his part. Taking the risk, Teresa opened the door for them, and they walked through the hallway that would take them to the Holding cells. Before Teresa could gain access, the doors opened, another Wicked member standing on the other side of the door. The boys immediately started shooting, taking down the other soldiers inside the room. Once the guards were all taken care of, Thomas and Newt began opening the cells, freeing the immunes trapped inside. Gally informed the others that he would have to break into the vault, while Thomas checked the cells, not seeing Minho, and Teresa, not knowing why Minho wasn't there, looked him up on the computer. She informed them someone had moved him to the medical wing, on the other side of the building. Thomas demanded she take him there, and Newt went to join, much to Thomas' displeasure, informing his boyfriend that he needed to wait here for the serum.

Gally assured them they could leave, that he would get the serum and meet them out back, as planned. The trio left, making their way back through the building to the elevators, Thomas now on edge because the plan was getting slightly derailed. After pushing the button a few times, due to nerves, they entered the elevator, only to be stopped a split second before the doors closed. It was Janson. The vibe was now heavy with awkwardness and hate, Thomas and Newt glanced at one another for a split second, and Thomas' grip on the gun tightened, ready and willing to shoot the Rat Man if needed. He started talking to Teresa about how hardworking and trustworthy she was, words that were hitting too close to home, and it was making her uneasy. He then informed her that Thomas was still alive and out there somewhere and asked her to inform him if Thomas contacted her. The trio left in silence and made their way to the med-wing entrance. Teresa was trying to convince Thomas that the serum would only buy Newt some time, but not cure him. That if Thomas let her run some tests on him and his blood, she could protect him.

But Thomas, letting his anger take control, ripped off his mask and got in Teresa's face about what happened with Minho, about what she did to them and everyone else that suffered because of Wicked. In their arguing, no one noticed Janson until he had appeared on the other side of the hallway. Panicking, Thomas grabbed Teresa and pointed his gun at her. Janson, claiming he knew Thomas, dared him to shoot her. In a flash, Teresa unlocked the medical wing door and shoved Thomas and Newt inside, effectively locking them in. They didn't know if she did it to trap them or help them, but they didn't waste any time. Thomas led Newt through the numerous hallways, gun at the ready, when he saw Paige appear at the other end. She looked shocked at seeing Thomas. Immediately, Thomas pulled the gun on her, ready to shoot, but Newt yelled and grabbed him as shots went off behind them. The sounds alerted other guards and soldiers, and now the boys were running around, trying to avoid getting shot, and taking down anyone they could while Thomas screamed for Minho.

It was a mess; people screaming and running to hide, bullets flying from everywhere. Taking cover behind a wall, Thomas became worried when he realized he was nearly out of ammo. Newt, searching an unconscious guard near them, found the small bomb-like device that produced electric shocks, and he activated it, tossing it down the hallway. It did the job, effectively taking down a group of soldiers. Thomas and Newt jumped up to run, but they skid to a halt when an armed soldier appeared on the other side. He demanded the boys get down on the ground, but was stopped by someone colliding into him, screaming, and throwing him through a glass window.

Minho- Fuck these shanks! I swear I'm gonna… I stopped my inner rage when I saw Thomas and Newt rushing towards me, pulling me into a group hug. No way! "Is this real?" I asked, not able to believe my best friends were here. They laughed, but then someone was yelling, and they pulled and pushed me down the hallway. More Wicked shanks were chasing us, and then Rat Man appeared from the other hallway and started shooting at us, so Thomas flung me and Newt into an open room, locking the door. There's no way out, shit! "Oh, shit!" Newt and I backed up, glancing around the room. Then the sound of a saw came from the other side of the door; they were trying to get in! "Any ideas?" I asked Thomas. "Maybe," he said, and I turned to him, getting worried when he was looking out the window. Then he and Newt picked up a gas tank and threw it out the window, what the hell?! "Okay, it's doable. We just need a running start." This crazy son of a bitch! I looked over at Newt and we shared the same confused "what the hell" look. "You sure about this?" I asked Thomas. And just like the first time I asked, back when I took him into the Maze, he gave the same answer, "Not really." If we live through this, I'm strangling him. "Nice pep talk," I told him. "Yeah, we're all bloody inspired." If I wasn't panicking, I would've laughed at Newt. The sound of the door being flung open made us turn around fast enough to break our necks, and when we saw Janson trying to shove his way through the gap, Thomas told us to run and we all jumped out the window, screaming.

Shucking hell the water is shucking cold! I looked around to make sure Thomas and Newt were alright, and then I almost burst out laughing when I saw Thomas looking up at Janson and flipping him off. Ha! I love this shank! He and I worked together to help Newt out, checking on him, and then more of these shucking assholes showed up! "Oh, you have to be kidding," Thomas said. Four of them, armed at the ready, viruses three of us, unarmed. I guess Thomas had a gun or something, because one of the shanks told him not to even think about trying. Out of nowhere, one shank shot the other three, taking them down instantly. We looked at each other, confused, and then the shank ran over to us, removing his mask. What… the… hell?! "Gally?" I choked out. "Minho," he nodded to me, then looked up at the broken window we jumped from, then back at us. "You guys are nuts." Then he walked off. "I'll explain later," Thomas told me, patting me on the back. Excuse me… what?! I almost hyperventilated as I started rethinking my entire life and freaking out. "Well, I'm bloody grateful Julia didn't see that, because she would've killed me," Newt said, sitting down to catch his breath.

Thomas snorted and rubbed Newt's back, smiling. "No, I'm pretty sure she would've killed me for making you jump." Gally laughed, shaking his head, and that was when it clicked. "Wait, hold it! Princess is here too?" I asked. "No, she's safe though," Gally said, smiling. I looked at him with raised eyes, then looked back and forth between the three of them. "They're good, Minho," Newt said, smiling at Gally. I breathed a loud sigh of relief. "I hope she kicked your ass for the klunk you pulled, shank." Thomas snorted and pulled Newt up to stand, then kissed his head, and I looked at Gally, nodding over at them, as if to say, "You seeing this too?" He gave me a "You're joking, right?" look and I shrugged. I noticed that they'd stare at each other, and I figured they liked each other; guess they finally owned up to it while I was gone. "Come on, we have spare clothes and shoes you can change into," Gally told me. I'm still thrown that he's alive and here, so I stayed with Thomas and Newt as Gally led us out of here, protecting us. He led us into a small building and kept watch while I took clothes from Newt. "Okay, important questions; how's the whiny little Princess, where is she, and does she know all this is happening?"

Newt started laughing at me. "Worried about her, Min?" I glared at him. "Hey, that little bitch drives me insane, but I'd kill a shank for her. That's my best friend, so yeah, I'm worried." Thomas snorted. "Yeah, you should see me and her, took losing you and some other crap for us to get to where we are." I raised my eyes at him, smirking. "You trying to steal my bitch, Thomas?" "Hey, watch it!" I smirked at Gally's familiar anger that came on whenever I talked about Julia like this. "Steal her? Too late for that. Replace you, though? Hell no." I scoffed, smiling at Thomas while I finished putting on my shoes. "And to answer your questions; she's all better now, she's with Jorge getting our escape ready, and obviously she knows about all this. You really think we could keep this from her?" I nodded at Newt. Fair point, I thought, remembering her threatening me and Thomas if we didn't let her in on our plan to go into the Maze the first time. "Wait, what other stuff? What happened after Wicked got me?" Thomas and Newt looked at me, eyes wide in fear. "She… it took two months to get her back to normal. But…" I sighed, worried. "Newt, just spit it out! What happened?" Thomas squeezed Newt's hand, then turned to me. "She cut herself, Minho. The night we lost you." I fell to my knees, my heart beating erratically. No… no no no no… "Minho, hey! I swear she wasn't trying to die, and it was one time only. You think I'd let it happen again?" I looked up at Newt kneeling in front of me. I'll never forget the day I found him in the Maze after his attempt on his life.

Newt pulled me up, and I nodded to let him know I'm okay, even if part of me wants to cry. "And you?" I asked Gally. "You really fucked up with her, and you're lucky I don't kill you a second time for it." He sighed. "I fixed it with her. And trust me, she gave me an earful and cracked me in the face for it." I threw my head back and cackled. "That's my bitch! Love that girl!" He groaned and told us to get moving. "Okay, now you two make sense to me," Thomas said, shaking his head at me. We ran for a while, following Gally around the city, guess he's been here a while to know it so well. I didn't want to ask questions because that could lead to talking about what happened back in the Maze, and that's the last thing I need right now. We heard sirens and flung ourselves behind some low walls to hide, me following Newt, who was coughing like crazy next to me. I asked how he was feeling, terrible, he told me, but that it was good to see me. I smiled at him before going over to Thomas, asking how long Newt's been sick. He told me we just needed to get to Brenda, that she had serum that would help him, then he walked over to Newt to help him up. He really isn't doing good; I watched as he stumbled to stand, falling into Thomas, trying to keep balance. On top of his limp, that isn't a good sign.

I turned to Gally, who was keeping watch next to me, and sighed, knowing there was no way to avoid this. "Why are you helping us? I put a spear through your chest." He nodded. "Yeah. No one's perfect, man." Then he jumped, patting my shoulder, and ran over to Newt and Thomas. I sat there for a second, thinking about how shucked up we all are, then I joined them, ready to get the hell out of here.
