Nigel Berbrook arrived at Ritz after getting a call from Edwina that a wealthy heiress was here to attend an auction looking for a precious gem to gift her daughter for her wedding.

When he entered the dining lounge, he saw many sellers trying to show their diamonds at one table, ignoring others.

Curious, he moves closer until he reaches Ms. Edwina. "Sharma, what is going on?"

"Not what, but who? You are lucky, Mr. Berbrook, because not only is this lady a distant cousin of King Charles but also the wife of Austria's biggest business tycoon. Her name is Lady Valentina Brussels, and she is here to find the most precious gem for her daughter's wedding."

The crowd moves away, and his eyes widen when he sees the most elegant, beautiful lady, dressed in an expensive red gown. She was surrounded by her security team, which consisted of two women and two men, and one girl stood by her side and looked like her assistant, while a young man and woman sat on opposite sides of the lady dressed in expensive clothes. "Who are those two sitting with Lady Valentina?" Berbrook asks.

"That's Lady Valentina's daughter, Ms. Daisy Brussels, and that man is her fiancé, Morocco's legendary footballer, Zimon Hustain."

Edwina then handed him the pad. "Here is their profile. You can verify their details, but I think it's unnecessary because everyone here knows who they are. You see, Charlotte and Agatha are trying to sell her their gem."

Berbrook stopped watching the profile as his eyes fell on the table again, where he could now see Agatha and Charlotte trying to sell their gems. "Please, my lady, look, we have precious collections of rubies that will suit your personality perfectly."

Lady Valentina took one of the rubies from Charlotte and scoff as she threw it away. "You call these precious; I just gave my secretary the same type of rubies last year for her birthday. Isn't that right, Elsa?"

Berbrook watched as the secretary pointed at the glittering ruby broach she was wearing on her coat jacket.

"My ladies, we have sapphire too." Agatha desperately began, but the lady cut her off in a sharp tone. "My dearest daughter Daisy is a heiress to the Austrian Empire, and she only deserves the best gem for her wedding."

"Well, my lady, what kind of diamond are you looking for?" Some other sellers inquire.

"I am looking for diamonds that have royal history, a colour so rich and eye-catching that everyone envies me."

The sellers looked disappointedly at each other as they slowly packed their bags and cases and left the lady's table.

Once the coast was clear, Berbrook smiled and straightened his suit jacket as he approached the table.

Up close, he could tell both mother and daughter were extremely beautiful, but the fiancé seemed menacing with a strange beard.

"My Lady." He began but found his path blocked by four bodyguards as one of the tallest men inquired. "Who are you? State your business with Ladyy Valentina.

"I am a seller like any other." Berbrook replied.

"We will see, Polly, Sonia, trace this man." The other bodyguard orders.

Berbrook stood still as both women bodyguards checked him with a metal detector and some other equipment to scan his facial and retinal scans.

"Name Nigel Berbrook, the member of Black Market." The short blonde woman says this as she reads his data on her iPad.

Meanwhile, the woman detects two guns inside his pocket. "Take it out and give it to us for safekeeping if you want to meet Lady Valentina."

Berbrook was highly impressed, as he quickly handed over his weapon while Edwina did the same.

He watched as the tall bodyguard went to talk with the secretary, and then a minute later both of them approached him. "So you are another seller. I must warn you that Lady Valentina is only here for the most precious and expansive diamond."

"Trust us; we are here to deliver exactly what she wants." Edwina said confidently.

"Alright, follow me, and word of advice: do not stare at ladies for too long. Mr. Zimon is quite protective over them, especially his fiancé."

Berbrook looked perplexed but eagerly nodded his head.

They then walked towards the table, and he was actually stunned by those beauties, although the fiancé seemed familiar.

A crunching sound distracts him as he watches the footballer open his palm to show him crushed walnuts as he asks in a booming voice. "Elsa, who is this man?"

"Another seller. He claims he has something Lady Valentina is looking for."

"Really?" Lady inquired, uninterested. "As if I have not heard such claims from other sellers."

Berbrook turned pink as the footballer slapped his big hand on the table. "That's it! You have waited so long; I say we give this man one minute to prove his claim; otherwise, we are leaving now."

Berbrook opened his iPad and showed it to them. "I have the famous Queen's Purple Diamond in my possession; it could be yours if you are interested."

The lady pursed her lips as she inquired. "I thought that Diamond was stolen."

Berbrook's eyes widen, but Lady Valentina laughs. "I am a distant relative of the royal family. Of course, I am aware of the stolen diamond that devastated Cousin Charles. As a direct descendant of Queen Victoria, Diamond should be passed down to my family since Queen Charlotte gifted it to her on her death bed."

"Oh mama! I heard about its beauty and that Diamond will look so beautiful on my reception dress."

Berbrook stared at the daughter but quickly looked away when the footballer once again slapped his hand on the table. "Name the price."

"The price is quite high, sir."

"There is no price high for my daughter's happiness." She said it factually.

"The price is three trillion dollars." Berbrook told them, and he waited until the lady looked at her secretary. "Transfer one trillion to this gentleman's account as security money. Mr. Berbrook, I am hosting a grand party tomorrow where you will hand me diamonds so I can display them to my special guests. I will give you the rest of the money there."

"Thank you, My Lady; it was a pleasure doing business with you."

He said it eagerly and then left.

Once they were cleared, he told Edwina to check his back account, and to his delight, he saw one trillion in it."

"Well done, Ms. Sharma; you have found the perfect buyer for our diamond."

"Mr. Berbrook, after what you did for me, you deserve only the best."

He nodded at the girl and left feeling excited about tomorrow, not knowing what was going to happen next.

That night, Anthony and Kate waited in their villa as the bell rang, making them open the door.

"Well?" Anthony inquires.

"It worked. Berbrook agreed to sell us the diamond tomorrow at the display party."

"Well done! Lady V." Kate cheered as a woman in a red gown smiled. "Call me Lady Valentina." Violet reminds her as they all walk inside the room.

Anthony and Kate watched as Simon, Benedict, and Colin removed their wigs and beards.

Meanwhile, Agatha and Charlotte went over to the bar to make them drinks while everyone settled on the couches.

"So Berbrook is completely convinced?" Kate inquires, and Edwina assures her. "He is Didi; we all played our part. Sophie and Penelope did a perfect job with that fake portfolio and then that fake money transition."

"I think he was even more convinced when Agatha and I tried to sell our gems; he knew we only went after the best buyers."

"Charlotte is right?" Violet says. "We all played our parts extremely well to convince that man about the lie we were selling."

Simon chuckles as he stares at the group. "Criminals and officers are joining forces. Who would have thought?"

"You are forgetting that we all joined hands to bring down a common enemy." Agatha reminds him. "

"A smart one at that, so it's important we secure the diamond before we expose him." Anthony said, making everyone look surprised.

"Anthony, are you fearing foul play?" Benedict ask.

"I fear, like before, he will try to frame Edwina if things get south. A cunning man like Berbrook must have some evidence against her to protect himself."

"You mean he botched those videos, but not before securing some to frame her?" Sophie inquires.

When he nodded his head, Edwina looked worried, as Penelope agreed. "I think he is right; there is a high possibility that he would turn this around, saying that he orchestrated the entire thing to capture Edwina and secure the diamond."

"So what are you planning to do? steal the diamond again." Colin asks.

"Do not be absurd; the diamond will be in front of everyone tomorrow on display." Daphne reminds them.

At this point, everyone knew they were in trouble until. "I will steal the diamond."

"Don't be ridiculous, Kate." Eloise said.

"Why not? He cannot imprison me again." Kate reminds her.

"Not if we worked quickly and exposed him with proof of our own, and that includes Diamond." Anthony says, making Kate smirk at him.

"But Didi, how are you going to steal the diamond in front of everyone?"

At that, Kate gave her sister a knowing smile. "Bon, it's time we put our childhood training to use."

Berbrook arrived with Edwina at the Ritz Ballroom, where Lady Valentina was waiting for him with her daughter and future son-in-law. She is surrounded by her security guards and guests.

"Mr. Berbrook is the man who made it possible."

Berbrook spared one glance as he smiled at the guests before turning his attention to Lady Valentina. "My Lady, as I promised, here is your diamond."

He opened the digital suitcase, and the entire room gasped when he pulled out Queen's Purple Diamond.

"Marvellous, absolutely magnificent!" Lady Valentina exclaimed.

Berbrook then put Diamond on the display stand as he turned around. "My lady, I have fulfilled my part of the deal; now please give me the rest of my amount."

'Of course." She snapped her finger, and her secretary gave her an I pad, and soon she was done. "Here you go. In under fifteen minutes, I will have to use my scan to confirm the transition."

Berbrook smiled as he stared at his watch.

"Until then, please enjoy tonight's entertainment with us." Lady Valentina's daughter insisted as he joined their table, and suddenly her fiancé excused himself.

The lights dim as two girls start performing gymnastics and acrobatics around the diamond.

Berbrook watched how they jumped and flew over their heads, and finally they used tight ropes to swing around the diamond.

Berbrook, feeling nervous, tried to stare at the diamond, but those girls never truly touched it; they only swung their bodies around it.

Finally, both women gracefully landed on their feet and bowed to their audience.

As soon as they were gone and the noise of clapping died down, he opened his iPad to see if the transaction was completed.

"What the fuck!" Instead of seeing $3 trillion in his bank account, it seems someone has stolen everything from him."

"Is there a problem, Officer?" Lady Valentina inquires, making him gasp in shock. "

"You!"

"Freeze!"

Suddenly, he was surrounded by officers from both the French and British police.

Finally, Anthony Bridgerton and Simon Bassett arrive, and Berbrook finally notices he is posing as a footballer. "You tried to frame me?"

"Like you framed officer Bridgerton." One of the guests spoke up, and Berbrook was shocked to see Commissioner George among the audience.

He quickly calmed himself down as he smiled. "Sir, I do not know what lies he spilled, but Bridgerton is the mastermind, and he used this girl, Edwina Sharma, for the heist. I orchestrated everything alone to secure the diamond and capture the real culprit. I have proof that Edwina Sharma stole the diamond while Anthony Bridgerton was distracting everyone."

"Oh, really, where is this proof?" Anthony inquires.

Berbrook opened his iPad with triumph, and then, to his shock, the footage was his own when he was debriefing museum security, but Edwina's face was all blurred.

Behind him Lady Valentina's female security guards started laughing as everyone joined them. "Well, Berbrook, your own proof showed that you planned a heist with someone."

"Sir, please believe me! Look, I have found the real diamond."

"You mean this one." One of her security guards, whom he now recognises as Colin Bridgerton, took the diamond from the stand and brought it to the table before smashing it to a million pieces. "It's fake."

"Here is a real diamond."

Berbrook gasped when none other than Kate Sharma arrived along with Edwina Sharma, Agatha, and Charlotte.

"Sir, officer Bridgerton used my help, and we found Diamond was stolen by Berbrook along with many other precious diamonds over the years. We and all the thieves who were imprisoned because of him are glad to testify against him in court. Sir, he used my innocent sister to frame Officer Bridgerton, but now not only has he been exposed for all of his crimes, but with the help of my genius friends, we have transferred all his money into a Brittan police savings account."

As soon as Kate was done speaking, Berbrook roared his anger as he took his gun out to shoot this insufferable thief.

"No!" Anthony yells, but before anything could happen, a loud punching noise was heard as Daphne punched Berbrook straight in the eyes, knocking him unconscious. "

'Well done." Simon patted his wife back, who looked completely shocked.

Commissioner George looked surprised before staring at Berbrook's unconscious body. "Arrest him, Officer Bassett. As for you, Bridgerton, you are cleared from all your charges."

Anthony saluted him as the commissioner turned to stare at Sharma's sister. "You did a brilliant job, Ms. Sharma. I assure you, your sister name will not be dragged in this inquiry, and I will personally appeal for your immediate reduction of sentence as well to those who testify against Berbrook. I think you all are punished enough for his crimes."

As commissioner George left with officers carrying unconscious Berbrook, everyone began to cheer.

Anthony reached out to lift Kate into his arms as he cheerfully embraced her. "My Hero!"

Kate giggles as he kisses her in gratitude. Finally, when they broke apart, Anthony held her closer as he asked. "Kate Sharma will be my girlfriend."

"Girlfriend? Kate's eyes were shining as she eagerly nodded her head. "Yes, I will love to be your girlfriend. But promise me you will visit me until I am released."

At that, he wrapped his arms around his girl, as he had promised. "From now on until the day you are released, you and I will have our special dates in that prison; luckily, I have stolen the keys to the warden's office."

Kate gasped and kissed him happily until they heard Eloise's angry voice.

"You stole my what?"
