Marinette was pacing around her room, hands behind her back. Her best friends: Alya, Nino, Adrien, Kagami, and their kwamis were all sitting on the floor and watching her do so.

"Girl, I thought we were passed all this worrying and freaking out." Alya shook her head. "You and Zoe are practically engaged to be married. You sleep together, in all possible ways, and are joined at the hip. Why are you freaking out over Valentine's Day?"

Marinette stopped and looked the reporter in the eye. "Alya, what if I mess up so badly that Zoe realizes everything, we have done together is a mistake? What if she runs off to America and marries some superhero who is also a supermodel and movie star, and they have beautiful, adopted babies together? I would die!" Marinette fell to her knees and buried her head in Kagami's shoulder.

Kagami pats Marinette on the shoulder. "I would leave Adrein for you in a heartbeat if that happened. That is how confident I am that you have nothing to worry about."

Adrien pouted. "Why is it always Marinette you would leave me for?"

Kagami rolled her eyes. "Don't act like if Marinette was into guys, you would not be on her balcony serenading her each night. Keeping you on your toes, my love."

Nino laughed and slapped Adrien on the back. "You'll be fine, dudette. Zoe is a cool gal. She will be happy with whatever you choose to do."

Marinette nodded. "Well, I plan to start her day with Chocolate-filled Croissants. Anyone wants to be my taste testers?"

Everyone but Adrien raised their hands. "While I want to, I have a meeting with Andre to get to over at the hotel. Kagami, save me a couple, please?"

Kagami nodded. "Sure thing, Adrien."

Marinette watched as Adrien departed. He seemed up to something.

Zoe was waiting as Adrien arrived for the meeting with Andre. Adrien and she stepped into the elevator and took off his ring. Zoe removed her comb.

"Are you sure you and Plagg are alright with his?" Zoe asked in concern as they swapped Miraculous.

"Kitten." Plagg smiled as he nuzzled her cheek. "Marinette deserves a chance to live out her fantasy of kissing the hot black cat girl senseless. Besides, you do have the best cheese. With no active threats since Christmas, it should be safe enough to swap for a day or two."

"Thanks, Plagg! Thank you too, Adrien."

He smiled and put the comb in his hair. "No problem, Zoe. Pollen and I will hang out until you're ready to swap back. Enjoy your Valentine's Day. Don't forget, my payment."

Zoe smiled and handed him a bag filled with chocolate and strawberry Macaroons. "Mari thinks these are for both you and Kagami, so make sure you share."

Adrien laughed and bit into one. "Oh, I will. Kagami would murder me if I didn't."

Zoe giggled and waved. "I hope Marinette likes playing with Kitty Noire as much as she does Vesperia."

Plagg grimaced. "I'm sure she will. After all, it's you in both suits. Of course, my perfection is Lady Noire. That long tail-like braid! Such a masterpiece."

"You did that? I thought the miraculous granted the desires of the user?"

"Usually, yes. If the holder is in a hurry, like the Guardian was the first time she changed, we can have some influence on the design. I feel like Lady Noire was a smashing success."

Zoe smirked. "Maybe I'll have to see for myself then. Get me a kitty in my lap to pet."

Plagg chuckled evilly as they stepped into the elevator to her floor.

Kitty Noire landed on Marinette's roof. It was the thirteenth of February. She wanted to do this today so she and Marinette could spend the fourteenth in their civilian forms. She opened the hatch and slid down into the room.

"Hello, Vesperia," Marinette had her back to her girlfriend as she landed. "I thought you were going to spend the night watching cheesy romcoms with your sister tonight before our big day tomorrow?"

Zoe chuckled. "Change of plans. I wanted to surprise you. Besides, I changed costumes for tonight."

Marinette turned around and Kitty Noire smirked at the blushing face of her girlfriend at the sight of the cat hero in her room.

"I cannot believe Adrein and Plagg, let alone Pollen, signed off on this." She said, even as she got up and went to embrace her girlfriend. Zoe purred softly as she snuggled into her warm arms.

"Pollen was the one most against it at first, but I bribed her with some of her favorite treats. We'll swap back at school on Thursday. Care to join me for a run across the city?"

Marinette chuckled. "People will think their hero, Ladybug, is cheating on Vesperia." She called for her transformation anyway.

"It does not hurt me at all to reveal Kitty Noire is Vesperia if we have to. I just want to be the black cat to your Ladybug for one night."

She gave her girlfriend the biggest kitten eyes she could manage. She watched the spotted girl melt under them and smirked with delight.

"I swear, Plagg is already rubbing off on you. Shall we go?"

Ladybug swung through the quiet streets of Paris, Kitty Noire vaulting beside her. Ever since the new mayor had introduced new ways to travel and cars had gone down, the city was so much more peaceful. Oh, she knew the city still had its secrets and criminals, but that was the job of the police. The heroes handled threats the police could not. That was the arrangement and it worked. They did minor things as well, like saving kitty's. Marinette planned to save her own Kitty a few times that night.

They landed the new Andre the Sweetheart Ice Cream man.

"Oh, Ladybug! And Vesperia, I see you have a new costume for this evening. Shall I get you the usual?"

Ladybug's girlfriend laughed. "Should have known we could not fool you, Andre. Yes please."

Once they had their treats, one for them and one for the Kwami, they took off to a special roof that the mayor had designed for the hero's use. It blocked cameras and other recording devices and air traffic was banned from routing around it except for emergencies. The two heroines called off their transformations as they landed.

Zoe set down one of the treats that Tikki and Plagg dug into. For someone who swore he only consumed cheese, he seemed eager to share the sweet with his bug. Zoe sat next to Marinette and they began to feed each other small bites of ice cream as they looked out over Paris. They were grateful that Max had taken the time to install heating in this space, otherwise, they would be shivering, and it would ruin the moment.

"So, was this your idea or Adrien's?" Marinette asked once they had finished their treat.

"It was Plagg's. For someone that hates romance, he sure does ship it."

Plagg called over. "Watch it, blondie, and pigtails. I can hear you."

They laughed at the tiny god's antics. They sat and looked out at the stars as they just enjoyed each other's company.

"I'm looking forward to our big date tomorrow, but I wanted to have this tonight, to sort of take the stress out of tomorrow. I knew you wanted to get everything perfect."

Marinette kissed her cheek. "Thanks, I needed that. It's our first Valentine's Day together, the first of many. I just wanted it to be something we would remember for years to come."

Zoe kissed her on the lips. "Be careful, or you'll be trying to one-up yourself each year. I don't want my lover to become a mess and fear she can no longer top the previous year. Anything I do with you, Mari, is worth way more than anything else already."

Marinette nodded into her shoulder. "I'll remember that. Shall we go to bed now?"

Zoe gave her partner a smoldering look. "Oh, yes. But not for sleeping."

Marinette let out a small 'eep' as they transformed and made a beeline for the Grand Paris Hotel. True to Zoe's word, it was very early in the morning of the fourteen before there was any sleeping done.

Adrien woke up on the morning of the fourteenth, Kagami sleeping on top of him. He reached over and grabbed his phone and scrolled through it. He had left it off the previous day to spend all his time with his girlfriend. What he found made him snort with laughter. Kagami stirred from her place on his chest.

"What is it, Adrien?" She asked as she rubbed the sleep from her eyes.

"Sorry, didn't mean to wake you." He kissed her forehead. "I don't think Mari will need to worry about this Valentine's Day being memorable for her and Zoe."

"Oh?" He handed Kagami the phone. Not long later, Kagami smiled and handed it back. "I believe you are correct."

On the title screen of the news site, it read:

"' Local Heroes break into Grand Paris room.' Footage was shared late in the evening of February 13th of Ladybug and Kitty Noire breaking into a room of the Grand Paris Hotel. Eyewitnesses spoke of the heroines kissing and flirting at the hotel. Did they hire a room there in advance and go back to express their passions? Or did they commit a crime and enter the room without paying? Former Mayor Andre refused to comment, other than letting the heroes know his hotel is always open to them and to come and speak with him first. Why was Ladybug with Kitty Noire instead of long-term partner Vesperia? People are already speculating that Ladybug might have broken things off with her partner or that the cat hero is the same person as the bee. Click here for more details."

Adrien saved the article to his favorites and then took screenshots as well. Just in case it was taken down. He would have blackmailed for years with his best friend.
