Outside of the Villains' Lair, Vega was washing off every inch of the blue paint off of his body. Once he finished wiping his face, he rolled up the stairs to the front door and knocked on the door.
"Senior," he asked, "You in there, man?!"
What Vega didn't know is that Bison was seeing things caused by Maleficent's magic, and even hearing Pink Floyd in his head.
"Senior Bison," continued Vega showing what he bought, "I've got the Sugar Frosted Coffee Flakes just for you, man!"
"WILL YOU GO AWAY PEASANT?!" shouted Bison, laughing, "I am a doctor. Ping-Gas!"
"Senior, please," pleaded Vega, "I'm only an empleao for your compania, I can't make your own desayuno by myself!"
Without warning, Bison threw a sheep with a picture of his face plastered on it right at Vega causing him to fall down the stairs.
Back at the base, X was bringing a giant crate into the room, before he could open it, the crate started shaking and rattling. Upon opening it, out came Axl, with a look of fear on his face.
"You have no idea what I have been through tonight!" he said sickly.
"Are you alright, Teacake!?" asked Lara.
"A little," replied Axl, embarrassingly, "except for the fact that I have been trapped in that box on the way back here. And the worst part, I'm not the only one in that box!"
"Who did you meet there?" asked Cammy.
From out of nowhere, Wario jumped out of the crate.
"It's-a-me, Wario." he said proudly, "I am now working with the police. Now, where the heck is the Chick?"
"What the heck?" asked X, "What are you doing here Mr. Wario?
"A young girl has been making a boy nervous!" replied Wario, "Could it be you?"
"Don't look at me." said Lara, "At 26 years of age, I don't even consider doing such a thing."
However, Wario's sights turned to Cammy and went up to confront her.
"So you're the anime girl I am looking for." he said threateningly, "Let me tell you why I'm here. I am now a police cop, and I heard in the last story that you made a young boy in blue a bit shy just by talking to him."
"That's it?" asked Cammy.
"No one questions the law, young lady!" shouted Wario, "But considering that the boy's reaction was outside of your control, I will cut you a break, but, now, I have to investigate another anime girl in a different universe that will pay your old friend Juri Han a visit in jail. Anyways, have a rotten day!"
After the threat, Wario made a peace sign with his fingers and disappeared out of the room, laughing.
"What on earth is wrong with the writer of this fan fiction?" asked a confused Alvin.
Meanwhile, at an unknown location, Simon was woken up by a young blonde girl named Alice, who was checking to see if he was okay.
"Do you know why you're here?" she asked caringly.
"My Private Investigation service isn't going as well as I thought." replied Simon in distress.
"No, Simon," said Alice, "I know you're upset. But what is the real underlying issue?"
At first, Simon refused to speak. After catching his breath, Simon finally spilled his guts to Alice.
"I have completely disconnected away from my brothers!" he said in tears, "And it wasn't even their fault… or at least, I didn't know it at the time."
"Well, do you have any hobbies you enjoy doing in your free time?" asked Alice.
"None!" responded Simon, "I simply overfocus on my work, that I just don't see the value of taking breaks!"
"Then it's clear that you are on the verge of burning out beyond repair," added Alice, "and Jeanette even explained to me that you have been absent from social events, like halloween dances, summer barbeques, and even christmas celebrations."
"Goofing off doesn't pay the bills!" said Simon shruggingly, "I have to stay busy to keep the lights on and that means no wasting time doing nonsense."
"Not to mention, you seem to have the appetite of a new born baby!" she put in.
"I am on a time budget." explained Simon, "Therefore I usually skip out on lunch to stay busy!"
"But that's not the point." replied Alice, "My point is that your child prodigy background has bitten you right in the rear, and what I see when I look at you, is a nerd dressed in a blue ankle-length turtleneck sweater with the inability to see or read without the use of his prescription spectacles. If you take those glasses away, what do you get?"
Simon could not handle it any longer. Defeated by his own choices, he cried in shame, and disgust.
"Okay!," he shouted in tears, "I admit it! I have not been myself for all these years, and it was all because of one greedy man, I gave up on my own two younger brothers!"
"But…?" asked Alice convincingly
"Eureka!" said Simon, growing more motivated, "That doesn't mean my brothers still haven't given up on me."
With a newly found confidence within him, Simon knew, in order for his brothers to get anything done, then he must help them out. Amused by the change, Alice kissed Simon on the cheek, causing his face to glow red and become weak in the legs. After he healed, Simon put on his detectives' cape and left the room to go find his brothers.
Back at the base, Aku Aku came to talk to Chun Li for a special job.
"Chun Li, I need you to watch the rusty boy in blue." he said.
"What if he starts to overheat?" asked Chun Li.
"He has a bunch of stainless steel water bottles in his cooler just in case," replied Aku, "But on the off chance he gets too weak to hold a bottle himself, I suggest you give him a straw. But in other words, keep an eye on him."
After Aku left, Chun Li went to look for X. Meanwhile, Earthworm Jim was watching X perform some tricks on the HQ's personalized track with Axl monitoring his speed, when Chun Li arrived to see what was going on.
"Is he making a run for it?" Chun Li asked.
"No," answered Jim, "it's a new hover bike his girlfriend made for him. He asked me if he could come down here to test it out."
"Jim, why don't you go ahead and get an update on your exercises?" suggested Chun Li, "I'll keep an eye on him."
"Why thanks Sweet Cakes," replied Jim walking out of the room, "even though I don't regularly work out and that my suit is naturally beefy."
When X tried to drift, the hoverbike skidded out of control and drove into a wall. Chun Li walked up to him, and checked him all over to make sure he wasn't hurt. After further inspection, Chun Li helped the maverick hunter get back up on his feet but with one vital piece missing.
"How can I be out of gas?!" asked X in disgust.
"I ain't as dumb as-a-you think I am! Wah!" laughed Wario, popping out of a bucket.
"But how did you…?" asked confused X.
"I psyched your gas while you passed out." replied Wario.
After that nasty prank, Wario flew out of the base via Wario Waft while singing "Do the Wario".
"What's with these early 2000s references?" asked Chun Li.
Meanwhile, in the villains' hideout, M. Bison was showing off Vile's laptop to the others.
"Oh," chuckled Bison, "just think of the possibilities that this little computer holds!"
Before he could test it out, someone was knocking on the door.
"OPEN UP!" roared the voice, "IT'S THE ANIME POLICE!"
This caused the villains to hide in various locations of the hideout. When the door opened, it was only Vile, and the X Hunters returning.
"Nah! We're just messing with you." said Voilen, "You guys are so worried about a little door knock?"
"Alright, we get it!" replied Vile.
"Says the guy with a Bobba Fett helmet from the dollar store!" said Serges.
"Keep it up old man!" put in Violen, "I'm sure people are asking about your hobbies."
Back at the base, Mickey and Oswald were checking on the progress on the airship. However, they ran into a problem with maintenance.
"What's the status report, Oz?" asked Mickey."
"We're far behind schedule!" replied Oswald, "Approximately, six to nine weeks!"
Mickey didn't hesitate to tell the other "Legends" that they'll come with him. Before doing so, Yakko entered the room and brought along a couple of old retired cartoon characters who were created between 1920 and 1935 to help with the workload. Oswald recommended that the along the toons should split between groups. Unit Ising consisting of Bosko, Foxy, Piggy, Goofy and Beans, Unit Iwerks consisting of Mickey Mouse, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Flip the Frog, Cuphead and Wakko, and Unit Lantz reserved for Yakko, Bimbo, Bendy, Bucky the Bug, Cubby Bear, Pooch the Pesky Pup, and Milton Mouse. However before making the final adjustments Oswald noticed someone's missing.
"Wait a minute, where's Felix?" he wondered.
"I'll go look for him!" offered Mickey, "I'm sure I can put some sense into the old feline."
As soon as Mickey left to look for Felix, trouble arrived. Yakko and Wakko's little sister, Dot, entered with a briefcase. Yakko and Wakko were worried that she'd bring much worse chaos than even they could ever accomplish.
"Don't let her in!" said Yakko, "She's carrying scissors and hand cream!"
Foxy, Bimbo, Goofy, Pooch and Cuphead tried to keep Dot from getting near, but ended up beating the Charles Mintz out of each other, allowing Dot to escape the fight only to be stopped by an unexpected portal that banished her to another universe. Meanwhile Yakko and Wakko tried keeping the others safe by chucking them in a large inflatable house that Wakko pulled out of his shirt pocket.
