It was the last day of middle school heading into summer before Ani had to go to high school. She can't wait to go to Gran Torino's to start her summer training. A bunch of her friends talked about going to the beach and or going to another state. They all asked if she could get a day with them, she told them that if she wanted to be a great hero that she needed to train for the entrance exam for U.A. High School. They gave her pouty faces and she said "no sorry my dad would kill me if I ditched training." The school day went on and Ani counted the hours away.
Once the school day ended Ani walked home happy to be free and can't wait to head to Gran Torino's. She enters the apartment and heads to her bedroom to start packing. After a few minutes a knock comes on her door. "Come in." She said after a few seconds All Might comes through the door in his thin form. "You have everything you need?" He asked. She smiles and says "Yes I have everything. Are u coming to visit me over the summer?" He looks at her and smiles "I will try to but no promises kiddo." Ani nods in understanding knowing that her dad is the symbol of peace and people always need to be saved. All Might comes over and hugs his daughter. "Be safe, listen to Gran Torino and do not get into a fight." She hugs back "I will listen and I promise I will not get into a fight." After All Might double checks to make sure Ani has everything she heads out for the train to head to Gran Torino's.
After an hour and a half train ride she gets to Gran Torino's and goes in. "Hey granster!" She called. Ani hears shuffling and he comes around the corner "you know I don't like that nickname you gave me raggedy Ani." He grumbled to her. She smiles "I am ready for training." He smiles and points her to the room she is going to be staying in for the next few months. She goes and unpacks in her room and sends a text to her dad letting him know that she made it to Gran Torino's ok. They start training the next day, Gran Torino teaches her the basics and doesn't hold back much. After training they decompressed over taiyaki and tea. She gets a text from her dad asking how her first day of training went. She swiftly texts back that she had an amazing training session. He texts back that he was glad she liked it. She smiles and goes and helps Gran Torino to make dinner. After dinner Gran Torino tells Ani to go to bed because they are starting even earlier for training.
After a few months, Ani arrives home and goes to her room to unpack and she sees the form for U.A. on her desk and she starts filling it out. A soft knock comes on her door and her dad pokes his head in. " So how was training?" He asked. She smiles at her dad "that's a secret you will have to find out by seeing me at the entrance exam." He nods and lets her get back to filling out the form. The next day she hands All Might the form because he was heading to U.A. to finish forms for him to become a teacher at U.A. After her dad left she goes and does cleaning around the house before she sat down to watch TV while she waits for her dad to come back home. After a few hours All Might comes back with take out in his arms. Ani goes and helps him and they eat dinner and All Might reminds her when the entrance exam starts to focus and not get cocky. He also reminds her that she can not tell people that he is her father. She nods understanding the importance and meaning behind what he is saying. There are only a select few people that know about her being All Might's daughter and All Might wants to keep it that way for now.
After dinner Ani goes and takes a shower and comes out dressed in her pajamas that her dad got her last Christmas. Before sitting down to watch a movie with her father her phone goes off and a bunch of her friends text her saying they were back and had an amazing time on their summer vacations. She texted them all back saying she was happy that they had a great time. She put her phone on mute and joined her dad on the couch and started watching a movie on the tv together. It has been awhile since they last watched a movie and by the time school starts they won't have much time to do something nice like this again.
