Chapter 1: My Hero:
Elena's POV - Flashback:
My name is Elena Validus. It all started when I was in New York, last summer. I was taking a walk, but then, in that area, Dr. Doom was attacking. "This is where I shall find the source of that energy signature," says Doom.
"Hey, Dr. Dumb," says this boy.
"It would be wise to stay out of my way," says Doom.
"I'm not afraid of you," I said.
He was so brave! I couldn't help but blush when looking at him.
"With my new nanites, nothing can stop me," says Doom.
These nanites were taking control of everything. The boy then turned to this diamond creature. He then fought Doom. I think something got in my mouth. The boy then won, and Doom was scared away. He then turned back to normal. I think I was falling in love... but then this Native American girl hugged him...
Ben's POV:
It was Valentine's Day in Bellwood. Not really my thing. Anyway, I got this mysterious note. "I think about you every time I close my eyes! Love, your secret admirer!" I just thought that was weird. Then I heard an explosion. I turned to Wildmutt and ran towards the area.

I then saw it was Charmcaster and Darkstar. I wonder what they're up to.
"Do you know what we're stealing again," asks Darkstar.
"I don't know," says Charmcaster, "but do you really want to disappoint the boss?"
"Good point," says Darkstar.
Boss? I then charged at them.
"It's Tennyson," says Charmcaster.
They then fired these energy blast things at me. I got up and tried again, but the weirdest thing... it was like the ground started to move. I then saw that Darkstar and Charmcaster got away. What was that about?
