I was walking down the streets of this new city, my bag on my back as my head was pounding.
I could audibly hear my panting. Signalling that I began to collapse. I then started to feel my legs buckle. When I felt my stability wavering, I quickly noticed a side street, Desperately stumbling into it before fully collapsing onto the ground.
My breathing grew more shallow. My vision beginning to black out.
I was suddenly awoken by a cat laying on my chest, prompting me to pet it for a few seconds before looking upwards. I tried gently picking the cat up and putting it beside me, before being scratched on the arm as the cat scurried away.
Sitting up, I noticed my stomach was grumbling.
Looking upwards, I was met with purple eyes looking into mine.
"Why is a kid like you in an alleyway like this?" The woman with black hair asked me.
Prompting me to tilt my head. I tried to look at her outfit before realizing my neck was sore.
I noticed that she was wearing a black dress that left most to the imagination. My mind began to wander before it snapped back to normal.
However I noted she was also wearing heels and black lipstick, almost as if she was going to a formal meet-up.
"I-I uh…." I couldn't seem to find the words to speak while her eyes captivated mine.
She seemed to notice me losing focus so she snapped her fingers. Causing me to blink and turn away at the same time her purple eyes pulled away from mine, causing her to simply sigh.
"I guess I'll take you in."
The black haired woman said, holding her hand out with a soft smile on her face, Prompting me to naturally reach out and try to grab it.
I failed to grab her hand, Causing me to stumble before losing my balance. She promptly caught me while she seemed to move quicker than me, catching me before I fell.
I slowly stabilized, gaining my footing when I pulled away from her, I grabbed my bag while leaning on the wall.
"Where are we going, may I ask?" I politely asked. The woman seemed to smile while she simply began walking out of the side-street.
"Follow me, What is your name, Young one?" She asked me, I debated answering with the truth before deciding on saying my real name.
"Bell Cranel, and what is yours, Ma'am?" I asked in a polite tone, Following close behind her while stumbling to keep up due to the sunlight.
"Eris." She promptly answered. Causing me to immediately recognize the name. Freezing in place.
"The Eris?" I asked. Causing her to nod as I swallowed a lump in my throat, Following her again.
"Then why did you grab me? You're a goddess! You must have something to do!" I spoke rapidly, Clearly confused. There must have been some more important thing she had to do than take me somewhere if she was dressed like that.
I quickly realized we were heading into the marketplace. I then decided to take my time looking at the world around us.
The sky was clearer than the ocean as people talked and walked all around me, everybody seeming happy while they were all talking about one thing or another. I took a quick look at the feminine clothing shop before looking back to the main district.
Nobody was left out or seemingly out of place, the buildings were busy too. However if you were to look from the rooftop, you'd see a spectacular sight, so many people interacting. It was a stunning sight.
I snapped out of my trance, stumbling while I kept up with eris.
"To answer your question, You have potential." Eris spoke to me, I clearly didn't understand as it supposedly shone on my face, Causing her to giggle a little bit.
"W-Why are you giggling?!" I stuttered out, causing her to almost break out into full blown laughter.
"It's because you just don't understand!" She spoke, almost too loudly while she slowly calmed herself down. Taking deep breaths.
I was just completely lost, trying to grasp the situation before we had come to a halt in front of a small house. She quickly grabbed a key that I could notice, opening the door and walking into a fully furnished house.
