(Vincent's Pov)
I wake up to the sound of the boys trying to sneak out of bed so I get up gently as to not wake Clementine up. I see that it was three in the morning and I yawn a bit before I walk over to the door and see both boys with flashlights and they froze in place and I chuckled softly as I closed the door.
"What are you two doing up so early?" I whispered.
"We want to catch Santa." AJ whispers and I put my hands on my hips and I see they were dressed as if they were going to go outside.
"I think you two should head back to bed, I already talked to Santa." I tell them.
"You did?" Tenn asked and I nodded.
"Yeah, and he said you need to go back to bed if you two were to get up so early." I tell them and they looked to each other and then to me. they began walking back to the room and I waited till they closed the door. I then went over to Clementines door and I go over to the bed and lay back down.
"Boys were up hu?" I hear her ask and I chuckled.
"Yeah." I tell her and she grabs my hand and placed it on her hip and I smile a bit.
"They were trying to catch Santa again." She yawns and I nod.
"Yeah, they got dressed to see if they could catch him outside." I tell her.
"I told them last year that Santa sent an Elf to the house since the gifts were small and so he could get done faster." She says and I chuckled at this.
"I just told them I talked to Santa already." I say and she giggles.
"Oh, I should have used that." She says and turns to face me and I look to her. She looked down a bit and I move my head a bit to try and get a better look at her.
"You good there?" I asked.
"Yeah just… thinking is all." She tells me and I nod.
"What about?" I asked. She didn't answer me and I look to her a bit worried and I moved so we were eye to eye.
"Clementine what is bothering you?" I asked and she looked away from me a bit then back to me.
"Louis… said I was leading you on, don't get mad at him, he's just looking out for you." She says as she stops me from getting up and I look to her.
"He needs to stop; everyone needs to stop when it comes to people, I like." I tell her and she sighed.
"Look I get it, you don't want a relationship, I'm ok with that, I'm fine if we are friends." I tell her.
"Are you really?" She asked and I kept quiet for a bit.
"A little if I have to be honest but it's fine, I swear it's fine." I tell her and she sighs a bit.
"Maybe he is right." She whispers and I look at her.
"No, he is not, no one is right." I tell her and she looked to me.
"We're just playing a game, a fun game." I tell her.
"Yeah, but your-."
"My feelings mean nothing right now, right now I'm just happy to be near you." I tell her and she kept quiet and I sighed at this.
"Clementine you are not leading me on, I understand you don't want a relationship, you don't need to worry." I tell her and she looked to me and I smile a little at her.
"Come on, we have maybe two hours before they boys wake up again." She says and she gets up and I looked to her a bit as I get up and follow her. She goes down the stairs and heads to a closet and I helped her grab the gifts she bought and I help her put them under the tree.
"Want to watch a movie?" She asked and I look at her.
"Clem-."
"Please." She says and I nod and she goes and puts an old Christmas movie and I go and make her some hot coco and we go take a seat on the couch and she covers us with a blanket as we laid on the couch and watched the movie. I ended up falling asleep halfway through.
"Vincent." I hear and woke up quickly to see AJ and Tenn looking at me and I look around and yawned.
"Hm… what time is it?" I asked and looked around more.
"Six in the morning." Tenn says and I yawned once again and saw Clem sleeping on my chest.
"Why is Clem sleeping on you?" AJ asked and then Clem woke up.
"OH SI-, I mean… AJ merry Christmas." She says as she gets off of me quickly and I get up as well.
"Uh… I'll get working on breakfast." I say as I get up and head to the kitchen.
"I'll help, what do you boys want?" Clem asked.
"Chocolate chip pancakes." They both say and I nod as I helped Clementine make their food and she made some coffee for us.
"Are you and Vincent dating?" Tenn asked.
"No." We both say and I look back to the pancakes.
"Why were you two sleeping together than?" AJ asked.
"We were watching a movie and we fell asleep." Clementine says.
"But you were-."
"H-Hey AJ have you ever had a chocolate, Chocolate chip pancake?" I asked interrupting him.
"Is that just a pancake that's chocolate with Chocolate chips?" Tenn. asked.
"Yeah, they're really good, had them when I was a kid during Christmas." I lie.
"Sure." AJ says and I get to work on making some.
"Morning you four." I hear my mom say and I nod.
"Morning Ma." I say as I work on the food.
"Well, what has you two working so fast?" She asked and Clementine handed her a coffee.
"Nothing, just wanting to make breakfast, is there anything you want?" Clementine asked her.
"Just whatever you are making." She says and I nod as I still work on the food. When we were done Clementine handed me the plates and I stack the pancakes for everyone and she goes and takes them to the table and I go and get the boys some milk and set it on the table. They came over and they began eating and I'm over by the counter drinking the coffee Clementine gave me. There was a knock on the door and I go and open it to see Sophie and Minerva and I let them in and Clementine offers them a coffee and some pancakes as well. Before I closed the door, I saw Louis and I step outside and looked to him as he came up next to me.
"What are you doing?" He asked.
"Spending Christmas with Clem and the others." I tell him.
"You need to listen to me Vincent-."
"No, you take orders from me, and… I'm spending time with my mom and someone I like I'm actually having fun, I'm actually happy Louis." I tell him.
"You are just being blinded by lust; look I get it man you have been lonely-."
"Minerva is here." I tell him.
"Wait what?" He asked and I nodded and looked to the window and looked to see Minerva and she was talking to her sister and brother. I look back to Louis as he looked to the window.
"I don't feel the way I did when I was with Minerva, but Clementine doesn't want a relationship, but we can still be friends." I tell him.
"And you're ok with that? Just being friends?" He asked and I nod.
"Yes, I'm not going to push her into anything she doesn't want, if she just wants to stay friends then so be it…. now come in, we made pancakes." I say and I opened the door and Louis came inside and Clementine smiled.
"Hey Louis." She waves and then we go over and I make another cup of coffee. We chatted a bit and ate breakfast then the boys ran over to the tree and we go over and watch them open the gifts they got. It wasn't long till everyone opened their gift and I hand Clementine the set of car keys and she looked to me and she looked a little upset but sighs and I whisper to her.
"I'm sorry but you needed it, think of it as a rental till your other car gets fixed?" I asked and she looked to me.
"And you'll be taking it back?" She asked.
"I mean you could give it to AJ when he get's older if you want so a permanent rental?" I asked and she looked to me then to the keys.
"Fine, fine, we can do that." She mutters and I smiled.
"Just until we can get your car, I could even fix it up with you." I say to her and she nods.
"Now that would be great." She says and I nod and I helped clean up the wrapping papers and my mom helped as well and we chatted a bit. When we finished cleaning AJ and Tenn were drawing in their new sketchbooks and their new art sets. I then go to the kitchen and cleaned up the mess I made and Clementine talked with Sophie and Louis.
"So, when are you supposed to go back to work?" I hear Sophie ask as I finished cleaning the dishes and I look over to Clementine I bit.
"After I go and give my statements to the Mariana case, it's been…. Hectic to say the least." I hear her say.
"I heard about that, poor girl." Minerva says and I grab all the stuff to make dinner.
"It's a bad world we live in, no matter what we do to try and better it others do bad things to make people's lives worse." Clementine says and she comes over and helps me.
"I'm going to work on the pie." She says and I nod as she goes and grabs some apples and I work on the turkey.
"So, Vincent where do you work?" Sophie asked.
"The entertainment business." I say and Clementine drops the apples in the sink and looks at me as I look at her.
"Vincent no." She laughed and I laugh as well as I look to Sophie who looked shock.
"What, can I not make it as a male stripper?" I asked and Clementine hit me.
"Stop." She says and I laughed.
"Jokes aside, I just own my own business." I tell Sophie.
"Oh, what do you make? Or sell?" She asked. I was about to respond but then saw the look Clementine was giving me and I clear my throat.
"I just sell Alcoholic drinks not moonshine though, yuck." I mutter as I can taste the stuff just by thinking about it.
"Oh, that sounds interesting." She says and I nod.
"Especially when I can taste my work." I say and look to Clementine as she cleaned her apples. I shake my head a bit as I got to work on dinner and we all chatted.
"So how is your family? Why aren't you spending the holidays with them?" I hear Sophie ask and both my mom and I look to each other than her.
"Vincent's father is…. Spending it with his other son, and he lives in another country and we didn't want to make the trip." My mom says and Sophie looked confused.
"Half-brother, but he's cool, my dad is just a dick." I tell her.
"Ah, got it." She says and I nod as I went over to Clem and poked her cheek and she looked to me.
"What?" She asked.
"Nothing but uh, I need some salt." I say and she handed it to me from her side as she was working on some vegetables.
"Thanks." I say and get back to work on the meal.
"So how did you two meet?" Minerva asked and I could feel Clementine look at me with a bit of a glare.
"He interrupted one of my investigations and has been a pain in my ass since." She tells her.
"I'm fun and you know it." I say and smirk at her.
"Bull, you smoked my evidence." She says.
"Come on let it go, the dude is still locked up." I say.
"Yeah because of other charges." She says.
"You smoked… how did you even get on a crime scene?" Sophie asked.
"I didn't know." I lied.
"We had tapes all over the place, cops were everywhere." Clem says and I shrugged.
"Oblivious to the world and my surroundings." I simply say and then AJ and Tenn ran in.
"Vincent, want to play my new video game?" AJ asked.
"Uh, not now, but I think Louis could have some fun." I say and look to the man as he looked to me.
"Yeah sure, uh… how do you play it?" Louis asked as he followed the boys in the living room and I got to work. We all just chatted and once I had the turkey Clementine handed me a mug and I take a drink and smile at her.
"So, who was that guy that dropped you off?" Minerva asked.
"Oh, that was Gabe, he's an old friend." Clementine says as she took a drink from her mug.
"Oh, so not a boyfriend?" She asked.
"No, he's… just weird." Clementine says and I look to her a bit.
"Ah, one of those guys that says he's your boyfriend even when you aren't dating?" She asked Clementine and she thinks.
"More like the kind of guy that would use his uncles fame as a way to get into girls pants, but right now he's just… I can't explain it, he's just been down since it was his sister we found." Clem says.
"Oh that's… even worse." Minerva says and I just drink my coffee.
"Yeah… hope he doesn't use his sisters death…. Vincent?" Clem asked and I looked to her as she looked to see my coffee boiling a bit in my hands and I calm down.
"You ok there?" I hear and look to my mother and I nod.
"Yeah, I just need to cool off a bit." I say as I go and get changed I look in the mirror and I see my father in the reflection and I turn to look at him.
"Outside, in my car." I mutter and he nods and I grabbed my keys and wallet. I headed down the stairs and was about to go out the front door.
"Jacket Vinny." My mom says and I groan as I hear the adults laugh and I go over to grab my jacket and she looked to me.
"I'll be back in a few, I forgot something at my house." I say.
"I'll come." My mom says.
"No-."
"Yes." She says and goes to get changed and I sigh and go over to Clementine as she looked to me.
"Are you ok?" She asked and I whisper in her ear.
"My dad is here, I need to talk to him, I'll be back in time to finish dinner." I tell her and she nods and pats my back.
"Ready." My mom says and I nod as we head on out. I get in my car and my dad appears in the back seat.
"What are you doing here?" He asked her.
"Nice to see you too, Yahweh." She says and he grumbles.
"Just call me John." He mutters as I begin to drive.
"Oh, so fancy." My mom says.
"Mom… stop." I say as I keep my eyes to the road.
"You couldn't even keep her locked up." My dad says.
"Dude calm your tits, you can't keep people locked up for centuries, besides she's mellowed out." I say.
"Yeah, I've mellowed out, besides it's not fair that you can walk around on earth and I can't, remember you and I are still husband and wife." She says and I roll my eyes.
"You…. You were going to destroy this world." He says.
"Well, what do you expect? You told my son he couldn't have a mortal girlfriend, then you go and knock up Mary and have a son with her." My mom argued and I rubbed my head a bit.
"The world needed-."
"You shut it old man, why are you even here?" I asked.
"Jesus thinks I should…. Ugh, spend more time with you." He says and I laughed.
"I'm sorry, but no." I tell him.
"I told him you wouldn't want to, I told him-."
"You just want to ruin my life more." I say and he stopped talking and I look to him through the mirrior and I shake my head.
"By the way I found Minerva." I tell him.
"She-."
"Don't… I figured it out on my own." I tell him and he sighs.
"And you are not going to be bothering Clementine." I tell him.
"Son, you have to understand you cannot be with a mortal, they die, they get old, she won't remember you as she get's older, what kind of life is that?" He asked and I look to the road.
"Mortals have to deal with that when their partners go though all that." I mutter.
"But she will not-."
"DROP IT!" I yelled and he stopped talking and I drive to my house.
"She doesn't want to be with me, we are just friends, I am fine with that, so fucking drop it…. damn." I mutter as I go into my house and both my parents followed me.
"You-."
"If you're going to bring up more relationship bullshit, drop it dad, besides, I'm supposed to be a lonely miserable bastard that isn't allowed to be happy, you made sure of that." I tell him as I go and look at the drinks in my bar and wondered what Sophie and Minerva might like.
"I didn't mean-."
"You never mean shit." I tell him.
"Vinny." My mom says and I stand up as I pull a bottle of Triple Chocolate Liqueur.
"You aren't defending him, are you?" I asked.
"Oh no, but I do worry for you, I know you love that girl, and to be honest she does like you, or at least cares for you." She says and I raise a brow.
"But?" I asked.
"Oh, there is no but, I'm telling you to stay with her." She says.
"LUCY?!" Dad yelled and I look to him as my mom laughed.
"What? Is he not allowed love because your creations say he shouldn't? look at him, your son is nothing but a good boy, he torchers the people that deserve it, he hasn't caused many problems to Clementine, he cares for her, unlike you, you got your son killed by your creations." She tells him as she put her hands on her hips.
"He died for-."
"Yeah, for their sins, and you say you aren't allowed to intervene but you always do, but think about it, your son didn't make anyone commit crimes." She says and I look to him.
"He tried to overthrow me." He says.
"And? You did kind of deserve it after the stunts you pulled, have you actually talked to him while I was locked up?" She asked him and he looked to me.
"No but why should I?" He asked.
"Oh, I don't know, maybe make amends with your son? You are around Jesus more than your eldest son, you are around Mary more than him… now Mary and I have our ups and downs but at least she tried to talk to Vincent." She says and I look to the counter top.
"Because she's to kind." He says.
"Kinder than you." I mutter and pour myself a drink.
"Don't you dare, you got my angels to go against me." He says as I take a drink.
"Because they saw what you were doing was wrong, why allow a murderer into heaven just because they repent, it's stupid, they killed they deserve punishment not paradise." I say.
"So, you believe that Clementine should go to hell? She has caused harm." He says and I take another drink.
"She is different." I mutter.
"You're not thinking, you're so blinded that you can't see how things work." He says.
"Look, I just want to have some fun is all… I'm just tired of everything." I say to him and I take a seat behind the bar.
"Vincent." I hear my mom say and I shake my head.
"Just… Go the hell away dad, I'll talk to you when I'm calmed down." I tell him. He sighs but leaves and I look to my mother and then grabbed a few other drinks they might like and Louis's favorite as well. We leave to my car and it was a silent drive.
"I get why you don't want a relationship with your father, and I'm not telling you that you have to… he's hypocritical and just doesn't think… I don't even think the man knows what love is." She says and I keep driving.
"Did you ever love him?" I asked.
"I did, until I saw who he really was, I was blinded." She tells me and I look to her then back to the road.
"How can he allow people to think negatively about me? how can people think I'm a bad person? I didn't do anything wrong… people have revolted against kings and many think its ok, people have revolted against government, that's fine to them… but when it comes to him… they say it's wrong but look at what he's done, he allowed slavery, he allows it still… he let's kids die and for what?" I asked as I drive more.
"I don't know, I will never know." She says and I sighed. I pulled up into Clementine's driveway and we get out and I grabbed the bag of Alcohol and we come in to hear AJ and Tenn yelling at Louis to press a button on a controller and he was laughing.
"I am, I am the button is stuck." He says and I look to them.
"Having fun there Louis?" I asked.
"Yeah." He says and I chuckled as I go to the kitchen and Clementine comes over to me.
"There was a store open?" She asked and I shook my head.
"Nah just brought something for the adults." I tell her and she looked in the bag and then looked to me. I set the bag on the counter and handed Sophie and Minerva each a bottle of the Chocolate Liqueur.
"That stuff is so good." I tell them.
"Oh, thank you." They say and I nod at this and Louis comes in.
"Games are so cool." He says and I smiled at him.
"Want a drink?" I asked him and he looked to the bag and then to me and nods and Clementine grabbed everyone a glass and I grabbed the other bottles and they chose which ones they wanted and I poured them a shot. We all grabbed one and clinked them together and threw back our shots and I shake my head a bit. I got back to dinner and once dinner was finished it was around six and we all sat at the table and filled our plates with food. We chatted for a while and had a good time, it was fun. When it was time for Minerva and the others to leave, they all head out and Clem made sure they had some food to take home as well, I was cleaning up the table and my mom and Louis were helping and I handed AJ some plats to take to the sink where he washed them. When we were done my mom heads out and I give her the key to my home and Louis also heads out as well but after I gave him a bottle of his drink. Clementine is taking AJ to bed and I go take a seat at the table and drink a bit.
"Hey what's going on? You seemed off after you went to your place?" Clem asked as she came over to me.
"Nothing I promise." I tell her and she takes a seat next to me and I look down to my glass and hold it with both hands.
"I know you're lying…. You know you can tell me." She says and I sigh and finish my drink.
"It's nothing." I say and get up and take my glass to the sink and clean it.
"Vincent." She says and I look to her.
"…. What do you do when everyone wants to just run your life?" I asked and she looked at me a bit and thought for a bit.
"I tell them to fuck off, let me live my life… unless it was something important that could help me along the way… why did your mother say something?" She asked and I shake my head.
"No, no my mom is ok with what I'm doing." I say quietly.
"Who's trying to run your life?" She asked and I feel her place a hand on my shoulder and I look to her.
"Who else would?" I asked.
"You're dad?" She asked and I nod.
"Screw him, he has no reason to mess with you." She says and I sighed.
"Look I'd like to drop it; I don't want to talk about my father any more than I have to." I say and she nods then helped me a bit. When we finished I walked with her to the living room but she stopped me and I look to her and she looked up and so do I and I see the mistletoe and then I look to her.
"You know it is tradition." She says and I chuckled a bit and I shake my head.
"No, I uh… maybe next time." I say and she looked to the side a bit but nods and I take her over to the couch.
"Sorry for… I just thought you needed some cheering up." She says and I lean my head on my hand as I looked to her.
"As much as that would have cheered me up, I don't want you to feel obligated to do that if you have no feelings for me." I tell her truthfully and she nods and sits back. We sit in silence for a while and I place my hand on top of hers and she looked to me.
"Give me one year, if you have no feelings for me in one year then we stay as friends." I tell her. She looked to the side a bit then back to me.
"One year." She says and I nod and so does she. We talked for a while and she tells me that she will be gone for the trial and if I wanted to come then I could, I asked her about AJ and she said she would ask Sarah and Duck to watch him and I think a bit.
"How about I watch him?" I offered.
"No that's-."
"It's not too much and I think the kid likes me." I say and she laughed.
"Besides, I don't think I could go to the trial… I'm not to keen on seeing that." I tell her and she nods.
"You know there could be a chance they could call you up." She says and I nod.
"I doubt it." I tell her and she shrugged.
"It could happen." She says and I nod at this a bit and then look to her. She then went off to bed and I just stayed in the living room and I decided to get up and head outside for a bit where I see Minerva and she looked over to me and waves and I go over to her.
"I thought you would have gone to bed by now." I stated and she smiled a bit.
"Nah, Tenn wanted to play on his new game system we got him." She says as I hear Tenn and Sophie shouting at the game and I chuckled a bit then looked to Minerva.
"You good there Vincent? You seemed a bit off after dinner." She says and I shrugged.
"Just dad trying to tell me what I'm doing is wrong, I'll be damning a mortal if I try to be with them, you know the same shit." I tell her and she sighed.
"Your dad is a real piece of work… but I think he's starting to believe in his creations own words they wrote about him, that what he had set for them to follow." She says and I take a seat next to her.
"I… I'm starting to believe him though." I tell her.
"Don't, look Vincent your dad did this to me because he doesn't like you and wants you to think it's your fault, but it's not he did this, you like a mortal then date them, he knocked a mortal up, he has no say in anything when it comes to your happiness or anyone's for that matter." She says and I look to her.
"But you-."
"But nothing, you didn't do anything wrong." She says and I look to the ground a bit.
"You should get some sleep Vincent." She says as she gets up and I look at her.
"Just think about what I said." She tells me before she goes in and I sighed as I go over to my car and I debate on leaving or not. I mean Clementine is a wonderful woman, I would love to stay with her longer, I have feelings for her but they must be wrong if my dad keeps telling me so.
"Fucking… damn it." I mutter as I head back into the house and I look to see Clem as she came from the kitchen and I go up to her.
"What-." She stopped as I kissed her on the cheek.
"I'm so sorry I have to go away for a while." I tell her.
"W- No you don't-."
"I do… I just… I'm rethinking many things and I just… I don't want my dad to mess with your life like he did to Minerva, I don't want history to repeat itself." I tell her.
"It's not going to, Vincent-."
"Please." I begged, I never begged once in my life, even when my father said he would send me to a dark place I never begged him to forgive me for what I had done.
"No, you can't do this to me Vincent." She says and I look to the side.
"You shouldn't care what he thinks or what he threatens to do-."
"I DON'T WANT TO LOSE YOU!" I yelled and she looked to me and I calmed down a bit.
"I have feelings for you, even if you don't have feelings for me… I don't want to lose you… to forget me, cause he will make sure you do… I'll come back I swear." I tell her.
"And if you don't? then what? What do you want me to do?" She asked getting mad.
"I promise I'll come back; I don't break promises." I tell her.
"But if you were to break this one?" She asked and I look to her.
"AJ likes you, you're nice, you're caring, you want to help people, you do all this good yet you still think you're bad? Bullshit, fucking bullshit Vincent." She tells me and pokes my chest and I feel something sting my cheeks and I look to her as she looked to me.
"You can't just leave." She tells me and I look to her a bit. I felt scared of what could happen, my father being the type of man who just wants to ruin my life, to be a hypocrite.
"Alright… sorry I just… felt scared." I tell her.
"You? Scared? That's… new." She says and I chuckled.
"I can get scared… I just don't show it." I tell her and she nods a bit. We went to bed and I was holding her to me a bit. I felt that I should never let her go. We were woken up by her alarm and I get up tired and I feel her move a bit to shut the alarm off. We both get out of the bed and I rubbed the back of my head a bit and she goes and does her thing, then leaves and I do my thing and head to the kitchen where I see her working at her desk.
"Nothing planned for today?" I asked.
"Just finishing up my report, and then I have to head in tonight." She tells me and I look at her.
"Tonight?" I asked and she nods.
"Yeah." She says and I look to her as she looked to her phone. I went and made some coffee for her. When done she finished her report and I hand her a mug and she takes it then heads out after AJ left for school. I look around her home a bit and I then decided to head to my home. There I see Louis and my mother as they were chatting on the couch.
"Oh, hello Son." She says and I look to her and I shift to Violet and I go and take a seat next to her and I grabbed the whiskey they had on the table.
"Oh uh… hello Daughter?" She asked and I nod as I drink the whiskey and I take a breath once I pulled the bottle from my mouth.
"Why do feelings suck?" I asked no one in particular.
"Oh uh… well… shit." I hear Louis say and I shake my head at this.
"I wanted to run away." I tell them.
"You run away?" My mother asked and I nod and I loosened my tie. There was then a presence and I look to see my father, Jesus and Mother Mary.
"Why the fuck are you all there?" I asked getting pissed.
"Woah, we come in peace." Jesus says and I throw the bottle at my father.
"HEY!" Everyone yelled and I take some deep breaths and feel some flames in my lungs.
"GET OUT!" I yelled. I could feel my entire body heating up and then I feel a hand on my shoulder.
"We just want to tal-."
"SHUT UP! THE ONLY TIME YOU WANT TO TALK IS WHEN YOU WANT TO TEAR ME AWAY FROM ONE MOMENT OF HAPPINESS!" I yelled at my father and he looked to me.
"She-."
"Oh god, the whole 'she's a mortal, you're damning her to hell' well fuck you, I was once an angle one of the many original creations you have made, YOU DAMNED ME BECAUSE YOU FEARED ME!" I yelled as I got in his face and he looked to me. I smirked a bit as I grabbed Mary and pulled her to me.
"You got to stay with my father because you had a son with him, he didn't damn you to hell because you were devoted to him." I say and my father tried to take her from my grasp and I pulled her back.
"Tell me this Mary, if I was the one to make you sin would father still want to be with a whore like you?" I asked and she looked to me.
"You are not thinking right." She says so calmly and I growl lowly.
"Let me go Violet." She says and I look in her eyes and let her go slowly and she nods and I glare at my father.
"You need to listen so sit down." My father says and I laughed.
"Oh I NEED to listen? To you? Isn't cheating a sin? Oh right you're the big man upstairs you can bang as many people as you want and it's fine, but if others do it, it's a sin right?" I asked him and he looked to me and I still feel the heat in my chest.
"Just remember, you aren't so fucking high and mighty, how about you spend a fucking day in my shoes you bastard." I tell him.
"What is going on with you?" Jesus asked and I grabbed my father by the collar of his shirt.
"What-." I grabbed the coin from my pocket and he looked to me then to the coin.
"I flip this coin and we both go to hell, you can feel all that we felt, you can be locked away for all eternity, you can tell me that all those you sent to me deserves to be in heaven when they tell you their sins." I tell him.
"Don't do it Violet." Jesus says as he grabbed the hand with the coin and I shoved him away as I flipped the coin and me along with my father were sent to hell.
"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!" My father yelled and I laughed as I open my arms.
"WELCOME TO MY HOME FATHER, FOREVER IN ASH AND SCREAMS OF THE DAMNED!" I yelled and the heat was intense. It made my father uncomfortable and I grabbed him by his shirt and took him to the section of sinners that touched kids.
"Look at them and tell me they deserve to go to heaven." I say but he doesn't look and I punched him in the face as I let his shirt go making him fall to the ground.
"TELL ME THEY DESERVE TO GO TO HEAVEN FATHER!" I yelled and I see him as he looked to the people.
"They-." He stopped and I growl lowly at him.
"LISTEN TO WHAT THEY SAY!" I yelled at him as I snapped my fingers as many of them made excuses on why they did what they did. They blamed me and I glare at him as he stayed on the ground.
"The devil made me do it."
"I swear it was the devil."
"She was my wife; it was legal in the eyes of the lord."
"It was a boy, it didn't count."
"Lord save me, I promise it was the devil that made me do it."
I growl lowly at him as he looked to me. My father gets up and looks at me and I keep looking at him as I shift back to Vincent and I feel my canines grow a little as I got angrier.
"Save them father, tell them they are allowed in heaven, go on father, save their souls." I tell him in a mocking tone but he looked to the people then to me.
"SEND THEM TO HEAVEN YOU FUCKING HYPOCRITE!" I yelled and he grabbed me by the collar of my shirt and I grabbed his hands. I burn his hands to a crisp before he let me go and I could feel the heat of hell getting hotter and hotter. I smirk as my father looked to me scared.
"I thought so." I say as he looked to me. his hands healing up and he looked to me then to the sinners.
"You… don't understand." He says. I then snapped my fingers and the sinners could see us and they ask for my father to save them from all of this.
"Save all these sinners father." I tell him and he looked to them as they kept begging for help and then he looked to me.
"They touched kids and blame me, but I have not once told them to do it… I am the one in chare of those vile creations of yours, YOU MADE THEM DO THOSE THINGS, NOT ME!" I yelled and then snapped my fingers and he punches me and I growl as I hit him again making him fall. I grabbed him by his shirt and take him to moms old cell.
"A few days down here should teach you a fucking lesson." I say as I was about to shove him in there.
"STOP THIS SON!" He yelled and I laughed.
"You are a sinner father, you deserve to be locked up in her, not me, not mother, you created sin, you created this, YOU NOT ME!" I yelled as I look and saw fear in his eyes and I growl lowly and then I feel a hand on my shoulder and see Louis and I let my father go.
"I cannot change the way the mortals think." My father says and I glare at him.
"LIAR!" I yelled flames coming out my mouth.
"I CAN'T!" He yelled back.
"YOU CAN, YOU JUST DON'T WANT TO!" I yelled and I clench my hands into fists.
"You allow them to continue to spit on my name… I AM YOUR CHILD, I AM MORE OF YOUR BLOOD THEN THOSE MORTALS, YOU WERE GOING TO DAMN CLEMENTINE ANYWAY BECAUSE SHE DOES NOT BELIVE IN YOU AFTER WHAT YOU HAVE DONE TO HER!" I yelled at him.
"I didn't-."
"YOU LET IT HAPPEN, YOU LET HER GET HURT, SHE LOST HER FATHER AND MOTHER, AND LEE… YOU MADE HER LOSE HER FAITH AND PEOPLE SEE THAT AS A BAD THING, YOU FIX THE MESS YOU MADE AND YOU FIX IT NOW!" I tell him and he gets up.
"If I fix it she won't know who you are." He says and I look to him.
"I would have to destroy the world and remake a new one, and who's to say this mess won't happen again? I sent your brother to earth before and they killed him because they thought he was a mad man by saying he was the son of God." He tells me and I laughed.
"They listen to you, make them learn their lessons, you've sent a flood, do it again." I tell him and he looked to me.
"That would be cruel." He says and I laughed.
"CRUEL?!" I yelled at him as I got in his face.
"Your creations think I made sin, I did not, take responsibilities for your actions, you made me like this, you made me feel love for mortals, I feel for her because of you… you fell for Mary and left mother, you sent my mom here because she was mad that her own husband, the holy man himself left her for a mortal… do you not see they hypocrisy that you have shown us? We learned from you." I tell him and he looked to me.
"Is he able to go back to the mortal world?" Louis asked and I look to him.
"You shut your mouth, you listen to me, you do not ask questions." I tell him and he looked to me shocked and I look to my dad.
"Why are you so angry?" My father asked and I growl lowly at him.
"You really have to ask?" I asked him pissed off.
"You have one year old man, one year before I show myself to the world and destroy it myself, I am done with you and your hypocrisy, if I am not allowed happiness no one is." I tell him.
"You'll get Clementine and the others killed." Louis says and I keep my eyes on my father.
"If he cares so much for them and the others he will fix his own sin, I have given Clementine a year as well, the clock is ticking old man." I say setting a huge clock up in the sky and they both look to it and I glare at him.
"One year today, if there is no progress made, I will show everyone that the devil does exist, and I will make your creations home my new home, I will destroy it and make everyone suffer, I am done with you and your stupidity, I will make you regret the day you didn't listen to me." I tell him and snapped my fingers sending him back to earth and I look up to the clock.
"Vincent." Louis says and I look to him.
"I need you to tell Clementine I am sorry, but I won't be coming back." I tell him.
"What?" He asked.
"I… I can't face her after this, I cannot see her like this because if I do… I don't know what I will do." I tell him.
"Vincent." He says quietly.
"I am done with my father's bullshit, I will make the world a new one, I'll make it better than my fathers and I will be the new god, and he will be locked away down here, to deal with the sinners." I tell him and I snapped my fingers making Louis head back to earth.
