A/N: The summary and the title and all that makes this sound super dramatic but it's really not. I tried to make it canon-accurate while also being a lil wholesome.
If I got any continuity messed up, keep in mind I'm only about four seasons into Full House right now, so apologies. I'll fix anything that comes up.
Also please note: I AM NOT A MEDICAL EXPERT! And I'm too lazy to do a ton of research. Womp womp.
Also I know Jesse's technically supposed to be 13 in this but I just can't imagine that. You imagine it however you want, though, obviously.
When Pam first brought Danny home, Jesse didn't know what to think of him. Tall, skinny, nice enough, but such a geek. He cleared the table and washed the dishes without asking. He even offered to sweep and mop the kitchen afterwards. It made Jesse sick, how he was trying to impress everyone. He kept trying to make jokes to Jesse but they were never really funny. The worst thing was when he kept calling him "Jess". Who does he think he is, his brother or something?
What seemed to bother Jesse the most was Danny's weird thing about physical touch. Seeing how close he got with Pam especially would set him on edge. At the dinner table he could see their hands intertwined in the corner of his eye, Danny's thumb rubbing circles around Pam's knuckles, Pam looking up at him with all the love in the world. He watched the two of them sitting on the couch after dessert, Pam practically in his lap but not quite, their hands glued together again, her head resting on his shoulder. The worst was when Pam would walk Danny outside and they'd stay out there for way longer than they should. Jesse would creep to the window and peek through the blinds just to see Pam standing on tiptoe to reach Danny's lips with her own. They'd stay there forever, their heads close together and their arms wrapped around each other. Jesse couldn't stomach it. His own innocent, beautiful sister, lip-locked with someone like Danny.
She was too good for him.
Jesse knew he was jealous, but he couldn't bring himself to do anything about it. Pam was his best friend. They'd do everything together. Ride bikes, go out for ice cream, watch movies. But the moment she laid eyes on Danny Tanner, it was like Jesse didn't exist. He couldn't remember the last time they had ice cream together, or even a normal conversation. Most of their conversations now were riddled with "Danny this" and "Danny that".
What about Jesse? Huh?
