Chapter 2: Alterone:
Max's POV:
We were at our HQ. "Everyone, meet Mae," I said, "her father was my mentor."
"Hi," says Mae.
"Now, we have to get moving," I said.
"Max, is it true the King is dead," asks Lowe.
"I'm afraid so," I said, "but we have to stop Runefaust! Also, along the way, we can look for the Princess!"
"So, where do we go first," asks Tao.
"Alterone," I said.
. . .
We then got out of Guardiana and saw hordes of goblins, dark dwarves, and giant bats.
"That figures," says Luke, "so, Tao, if you get scared, I could protect you."
"This wizard does not get scared," says Tao.
We then took them on. The giant bats were the most difficult because they can fly. Luckily, Hans can fire arrows and Tao has her fire spell.
"This is not that fun," says Lowe.
"It's not our first fight," says Gong.
We managed to take them all down.
"Let's go," I said.
. . .
We then arrived in Alterone.
"Is it just me," says Hans, "or do the people seem... less scared than I imagined?"
We then walked around. "Excuse me," says Tao, "did you hear about what happened in Guardiana?"
"It's none of our business," says the merchant.
"They don't seem to care," says Mae.
"Let's talk to the King," I said.
Then this strange woman appeared. "If any of you knew what was good for you, you'd go back to Guardiana!" She then disappeared.
"That was odd," says Gong.
. . .
We then spoke with King Alterone.
"So, the King of Guardiana was attacked," says King Alterone.
"Yes," I said, "I'm sure you feel for us and..."
"It's none of our concern," says King Alterone.
"Excuse me," I asked.
"We try to stay out of these things," says King Alterone.
"My Father died trying to protect the King you-" We had to hold Mae back.
"We'll be going now," I said.

"That cold man," says Mae.
"Some people are like that," says Gong.
Luke then leans on something and falls through.
"Where's Luke," asks Tao.
"He just diappeard," says Lowe.
"No, he just fell through this wall," says Luke.
"I think Luke discovered a secret passage," says Hans.
We then went through.
. . .
"Where are we," asks Tao.
"Welcome to Rindo," says this armored armadillo thing. "I'm Guntz and I'm a steam knight."
"And I am Dr. Crock! Guntz is wearing my invention, the Steam Suit!"
"Guntz, how would you like to joust," asks Mae.
. . .
Mae and Guntz then have a joust and Guntz wins. "Guntz, would you like to join the Shining Force," I asked.
