Chapter 3: Shade Abbey:
Max's POV:
Now we have Guntz on our side, and we then left Rindo and then left Alterone.
"So, where are we going next," asks Guntz.
"I think we should go to Shade Abbey," says Lowe, "it has the knowledge of the Ancients and that could be useful against Dark Dragon!"
. . .
We then arrived at Shade Abbey. "I don't really like cemeteries," says Guntz. There was a nearby cemetery.
"Relax, you got Luke!"
"And my fire spell," says Tao, "it especially works on zombies."
We then started walking, but these weird people were following us.
"Anyone else creeped out," asks Hans.
"Let's go inside," I said.
. . .
We then entered the building and there was this statue of a bird man. "Get out," says the statue, "it's a trap!"
"Wait, did that statue just-" Tao begins.
The people turned out to be zombies and skeletons.
Luke screams... but then tries to cover it.
"Let's take them down," I said.
We then fought these dead people. There was a priest and I tried to keep him safe, but the priest did not seem to care. Tao then burns them.
"Beautiful and powerful," says Luke.
"Annoying and irritating," says Tao.
"Well done." The priest then changes. "Allow me to introduce myself, I am Darksol!"
"Are you working for Runefaust," I asked.
"Fool, I'm the one behind all of this," says Darksol, "we will meet again!" He then disappears.
The statue then turns to a real bird man. "Darksol turned me to stone, but by defeating us undead warriors, you turned me back. I am Balbaroy!"
"I'm Max and this is Lowe, Luke, Tao, Hans, Mae, Gong, and Guntz. We are the Shining Force."
"Noble Warriors," says Balbaroy, "I owe you all. I ask that you allow me to join your group."
"We could use someone who can fly," says Luke.
"You're in," I said.
"Hans just died," says Tao.
"I wish the Priest was here," says Luke.
"I'm here," says the Priest, "you'll find me everywhere. Now, to bring back Hans!" He then does so, and Hans comes back.
"I have seen Heaven," says Hans, "it's sweet. You guys would love it... but I don't want any of you there too quickly."
That showed me that I have to be careful. As a leader, I am responsible for my team. "We better keep moving," I said.
