Chapter 8: Adam:
Max's POV:
We buried Kane. "He was my brother," I said.
Mae then grabs my hand.
The High Priest gave a eulogy. "But I believe Kane would want us to focus on stopping Darksol! Therefore, it is time to promote more members! Lyle and Bleu, you just joined, so you are not ready yet. Balbaroy, the Birdman, you are now a sky warrior! Zylo, the wolfman, you are now a Wolf Baron! Kokichi, the Sky Knight, you are now a Sky Lord! And Guntz the Steam Knight, you are now a Steam Baron!"
They then took a look at their new powers.
"Now, we have to stop Darksol," I said.
"Max, you and your Shining Force must go to Metapha, there, you will find a warrior that once belonged to the Ancients! Seek Adam!"

We then arrived in Metapha.
"So, how would we recognize Adam," asks Luke.
"I don't know," I said.
"Also, how did you not know you had a brother," asks Luke.
"Max never knew his family," says Lowe.
"Oh... that's a good explanation," says Luke.
"Let's just move," I said.

We then started searching for Adam, but no one knows where to find him.
"This could take a long time," says Tao.
"Luke, what are you sitting on," asks Kokichi.
Luke gets up and it's a metal arm. Kokichi then takes a look and pulls a metal man out.
"What is it," asks Zylo.
"I'm going to take a look at this," says Kokichi.
. . .
We then took a look at the metal man. Kokichi attempted to fix him. "Maybe it's a suit of armor," says Hans.
"I think I-"
Then the metal man started moving. "Greetings, I am Adam!"
"You're Adam," asks Tao, "what are you?"
"I am a robot," says Adam, "I was created by the Ancients during the battle with Dark Dragon!"
Adam's POV - Flashback:
When Dark Dragon was sealed away, the Ancients created us to help the Heroes of Light should Dark Dragon ever return, but Darksol attacked and scrapped us, but I survived. I have been in shut down ever since.
Max's POV - Present:
"So, you were created to help the Warriors of Light fight Dark Dragon," I asked, "they how would you like to join the Shining Force?"

As we were moving, that mysterious woman I met earlier appeared. "I tried to warn you, but you didn't listen and now you must all fear my wrath!" She then disappeared.
"Who is she," I asked.
"You mean you never heard of her," asks Tao, "that was Mishaela, the right-hand woman of Darksol!"
"This just keeps getting better and better," I said.
"Speaking of better," says Luke.
We were then faced with 4 steel claws, 2 jets, 2 wyverns, 3 torch eyes, 5 ice worms, and a demon master!
"On my first day in the team," says Adam.
"For me and Bleu, our first day was fighting Kane," says Lyle, "rest his soul."
We then took them on. Our fliers took on the wyverns, while the rest of us took on the rest. Tao was in a magic fight with the Demon Master. We were fighting through their forces, but then I helped Tao and together, we destroyed the Demon Master, destroying all the others.
"We are getting better at this," says Luke.
"Max, you what is that in your bag," asks Adam.
"It was Kane's Sword of Darkness," I said, "why?"
"Max, you can combine your sword of light with Kane's sword of darkness to create the ultimate weapon, the Chaos Breaker!"
