Owl House Season 1 Episode 19 – Young Blood, Old Souls Part 3
Hard to believe it's been over 1 year since I published this story! I hope you enjoy the final part of my Season 1 finale. It took a long time to perfect but it's ready at last!
There are a lot of battles to look forward to and Luke unleashing a new transformation. Enjoy!

While Luke is interrogated by Belos, Amity is sent screaming out the door into a large hallway and slams into a wall. When she lands, she gasps in horror to see the door to Luke and Belos slam shut.
Amity: NO! Luke!
Amity runs for the door only for a tremor to occur and causes her to shake. Suddenly a large stone fist bursts from the ground, sending her falling on her rear. The youngest Blight watches as the fist drops down, exploding to reveal the Golden Guard knelt down holding his staff. He ominously looks up.
Golden Guard: Hiii.
Amity moves back, knowing she's in real trouble now.
While that happens Lilith and King are thrown into Eda's cage by two Emperor's Coven members. They both land, kneeling, as the bars close behind them. Lilith looks up to see her transformed and angered sister glaring at her.
Lilith: Hello, Edalyn.
Eda: Lilith. You hurt Luke. You betrayed Sparda. You betrayed our friendship with him and Qrow. You cursed me. Before anything turns me to stone, I'll tear you apart.
Eda raises her claw and Lilith braces herself for the pain until King jumps between them.
King: No, don't!
Eda gasps to see King defending Lilith.
King: She was trying to help. She even betrayed the Emperor for you!
Eda: What?!
Lilith: If I knew something like this would happen…! Lilith reaches out to cup her sister's face. Edalyn, I—
Before she could apologise the petrification machine activates, the eyes begin to glow, first yellow, then green. Willow and Gus gasp in horror, knowing the petrification is about to start.
Willow: We gotta do something.
Perry: And in a shocking turn of events, head Coven leader Lilith is now in the holding cage. Escorted by what appears to be a deranged cat. Gus pulls on his sleeve much to his dad's surprise. Augustus? I'm live!
Gus: Dad, you have to stop!
Willow: Willow grabs Perry's mic. Yeah. What's happening to Eda isn't right. She might not always follow the rules, but she hasn't done anything worthy of a petrification!
The entire crowd agrees. While Eda may be a criminal by a law, she's a good person at heart and she has done nothing to deserve a fate worse than death like petrification.
Eye-Eater: She helped me escape jail.
Morton: She helps me stay in business!
Principal Bump: She helped me love teaching again... Bump frowns. After she left.
Willow: The Emperor should let Eda go!
Gus: Let Eda go!
Crowd: Let Eda go! Let Eda go! Let Eda go! Let Eda go!
The entire crowd chants, protesting the injustice and overly harsh punishment being given to Eda.
Back with Amity and the Golden Guard, the youngest Blight is sat on her rear looking at the Golden Guard holding his staff, worried of her chances of survival but manages to put on a brave face.
Amity: You! You're the one who hurt Luke at the Covention!
Golden Guard: Hello little girl. What's about to happen should be relatively painless, if you just do what I say.
Amity: Why would I do anything you tell me to do!?
Amity stood up, spell circles traced and ready.
Golden Guard: Because you're a girl. I'm a prodigy. You're an amateur compared to me. Thus, you don't stand chance.
Amity: You don't scare me…Golden Guard.
Golden Guard: Oh. So, you've heard of me. You're quite astute.
Amity: I've read up all about you. Plus, Lilith told me some things, the genius teen prodigy…She narrows her eyes in deadpan fashion. Also, an obnoxious little brat.
Golden Guard: Yeah, Lilith has always been jealous of the fact that I badly outmatch and outrank her.
Amity: Huh. For the Emperor's right-hand man, you're a lot…scrawnier than I imagined up-close. You're way more intimidating from afar. Amity angrily steps up, enlarging her spell circles. But enough small talk. Get out of my way!
Golden Guard: I'm afraid I can't do that. Emperor Belos wants to have a word with the human. And I've been ordered to eliminate anyone who tries to interfere.
Amity: I'm not leaving my friend alone in there! Let me through or else!
Golden Guard: Or else what? You gonna blast me to bits? Sorry to burst your bubbles girlie, but… you're way of your league.
Amity: Amity grows angrier. Don't test me. I'm warning you…
Golden Guard: And I'm warning you, I'm a genius teen prodigy. Out of every single scout in the Emperor's Coven I'm the most powerful. You don't stand a chance against me. In fact, you're so weak, I doubt I even need to use the Yamato against you. Amity's eye twitches from such an insult. But I'm not that mean. If you walk away now, I'll pretend we never met. But if you wish to stay and fight, go on. He motions Amity to bring it on. Blast me. I'm standing right here.
Kingdom Hearts Final Mix – Night of Fate
Amity had reached her limit from the Golden Guard's insults.
Amity: THAT'S IT! YOU ASKED FOR IT!
Her spell circles turn into flames engulfing her hands and she releases two large streams of fire at the Golden Guard, engulfing him in flames. But to Amity's great shock, the powerful coven scout cancels the flames out with a simple staff swing, the gem glowing red. Amity gasps.
Golden Guard: Pfft. Well, that was pathetic. I've seen fire bees give off more heat.
Amity growls in anger, her eyes glowing purple as she casts large spell circle and raises her hands up, summoning a groaning Abomination tidal wave that proceeds to engulf the Golden Guard, but he just stood there not flinching one bit, engulfing himself in red energy that allows him to phase through the goo without moving a muscle. All the tidal wave does is splatter the walls and door. Amity steps back in disbelief to see both her attacks did nothing.
Golden Guard: Better. But still not impressed.
Amity: But…how…?
Golden Guard: Let me show you how it's done.
The Golden Guard aims his staff and Amity is engulfed in red energy, unable to fight it as she's lifted into the air. With a swing of his staff Amity is tossed. She screams as she slams high into a wall. She grunts and struggles as the Golden Guard magically pushes her against the wall hard enough to create cracks. When he releases her Amity drops to the floor on her knees, panting heavily before looking up with a growl.
Amity got up, bringing out goo from her vial and forming her Chakrams. The Golden Guard slowly approaches.
Golden Guard: Oh, so that's how you'd like to play it.
Amity gives a battle cry and charges the Golden Guard, launching swings left and right but the scout casually and easily dodges her attacks as he rests his staff behind his back. Eventually he swings around Amity and trips her up. Amity cries out and she hits the floor on her chest. She gives the Golden Guard a hateful look before rushing.
She swung a chakram and this time the Guard blocked with his staff. As he turns Amity slashes, but the Golden Guard deflects with a swing of his own. Amity launches a couple more swings with her chakrams that he blocks and dodges. Amity runs, tossing a chakram the guard deflects. She catches it and when she thrusts, the Golden Guard expertly knocks her wrist away a spin of his staff before sending her skidding back with a kick.
Amity casts another fire spell but to her shock the Golden Guard blitzes through the fireball with a flash-step. His smashes his staff against Amity's chakrams and she groans in agony as she gets pushed back, barely holding her ground. Amity struggles as the Golden Guard holds her down with one hand holding his staff.
Golden Guard: I suppose I don't mind playing a little.
The Golden Guard knocks away her chakrams and blasts Amity with red energy at close range. She screams in pain as she sent flying into the wall, slamming hard into it. When she lands, she's barely able to stay on her feet. Amity gets angry enough to send out a large fist made of Abomination goo, but the Golden Guard summons a larger fist made of stone and it ploughs through the goo, smashing Amity through the wall into the jail cells chamber. She screams as she falls down the centre.

Scenes shift to the chamber with Luke and Belos, the human boy gave the emperor a scowl, having lowered his gun.
Luke: Listen grimace! You have two options. You can let my friends go and spare yourself some pain. Or I can break you first. It's your call.
Belos: Apologies for being a bore, but let's say I refuse both choices?
Luke: Luke spun and aims his gun. I'd be happy to decide for you.
He sets it from "Stun" to "Kill" and the Electric Glyph glows on the gem.
Belos doesn't pay any attention to Luke's threat or demand, rather he's more focused on his face and the look in his eyes. His mask hides the feeling of familiarity and nostalgia Belos has from looking at Luke's.
Belos: "This boy is rather spirited. I can see his eyes brimming with fire. But there's something about him…He's definitely no ordinary human, that's for sure, but his face is all too familiar. I could swear I've seen him somewhere before."
Belos kept staring at Luke and gasps when he sees someone else in his place.
Belos: "Wait a minute…It's HIM! Now I remember!"
The images keep flashing until Luke's face is replaced by that of…Sparda, giving Belos the same scowl.
Sparda: Belos! Fight me you coward!
(Flashback)
We go back to the battle between the Devils and the Emperor's Coven. All the devils and scouts watch in astonishment at Sparda and Belos' in a final showdown, the former clutching the Devil Sword Sparda and the latter clutching his Artificial Staff.
Belos: You have my commandment for making it this far, Sparda.
Sparda: Sparda grins as he spoke. Thought you could get away, huh, coward? Well, you're not going anywhere!
Belos: Do you really think you can defeat me now, in your weakened condition, Dark Knight.
Sparda: I don't care! I will fight you to the end! Even if I die today others will rise to stop you! This ends now Belos!
All the devils murmur in agreement and the scouts all voice their concerns for their emperor.
Sparda: Don't be afraid of him men! I'd rather be a free man in my grave! Belos! We're free! We don't work for you! Never have! Never will! You can find someone else to do your dirty work! We know what your Day of Unity is all about! And we won't let it happen!
Belos: If you truly know, then I cannot let you or any other devils live. I suppose it's time we finish this.
Belos (Future): "Yes, it's him! It has to be!"
Belos staff glows red and Sparda's sword glows fiery blue.
Sparda: Yes. From here, everything changes. It all comes to down to this. My fate. My fellow devils. The Boiling Isles. The Demon Realm. Lucifer!
An orb of red energy forms above Belos' staff as Sparda chuckles.
Sparda: Yes. Yours too Belos.
He held up his sword, gathering a massive amount of energy that flares before swinging and releasing a huge blade of energy.
Sparda: WE SETTLE THIS HERE!
The energy blade flew towards Belos. This was Sparda's final attack, the decider.
Belos (Future): "He's the spitting image of that impertinent witch who rebelled against me when I destroyed all the devils. Sparda…"
But to Sparda and everyone's disbelief, Belos' orb enlarges and completely absorbs the final attack.
Sparda: WHAT THE!?
The orb reaches maximum size, becoming as large as a supernova. Belos kept his staff held up, ready to toss the orb.
Belos: Goodbye…Dark Knight, Sparda.
With a flick of his staff, Belos sends out the supernova crashing towards everyone. Sparda could only scream in horror with the other devils and scouts. The orb slowly engulfs every single one of them, Sparda being the first.
Sparda was falling within the orb, reverting back to normal form and he loses his weapons. He could only groan, still conscious and not changing his expression.
Sparda: L-L-Lucifer.
He fell deeper within the orb to his doom, seemingly vaporized from within.
Sparda: LUCIFEEEERRRR!
Everything turns white.
(End of Flashback)
We go back to the present where Luke is still scowling at Belos who is still sat on his throne.
Belos: Now this is quite intriguing.
Luke: Luke lowers his gun, surprised. What are you talking about, freak?
Belos: You're a human, there's no mistake in that. However, 13-years ago, I was in a skirmish with a witch who looked just like you, except with blue hair. You must be his offspring. The resemblance between you is unmistakable.
Luke remains silent for a little before deeply scowling again. While a devil that looks like him is surprising, he couldn't care less about that right now or who Belos thinks he is. His main priority is saving Eda.
Luke: I don't care. Belos doesn't respond. I couldn't give a damn who you think I am. The only thing I care about is my friends. So, I'll say it one more time. Luke aims his gun at the emperor, gritting his teeth. Let Eda and my friends go…or I'll shoot a hole right between your soulless eyeholes in that mug you call a mask!
Belos: Belos merely chuckles. If you believe you can actually do that, why wait? I'm right here. Shoot me. You cannot hope to harm me. The Titan will not allow it.
Luke: Spare me!
Kingdom Hearts Final Mix – Night of Fate
Luke shoots a laser bullet, but it's blocked when a monster arm rises right in front of Belos, taking the hit. It then lunges at Luke but he's undeterred.
Luke: Back off.
Luke shoots more bullets, slowly destroying the claws. More claws emerge and lunge towards the human boy, but he kept shooting them down with pure accuracy. When the arms double, Luke responds in kind by summoning his other Glyph Gun and firing a dual barrage, tearing apart all the claws heading his way. More emerge and lunge towards him, forcing him to change tactics.
Luke: Owlbert! Showtime!
Owlbert emerges from Luke's coat as he dismisses his guns and forms into the Owl Staff above which Luke grabs, giving a twirl and grins. The claws dive down towards Luke, but he flipped back high into the air. Belos summons another tiny spell circle, releasing shots of red flames but Luke spun Eda's staff, deflecting them before landing on the floor. He then lunges, destroying two arms with a swing, impales one with the butt of the staff and destroys one more with another swing. He glares at Belos who merely sat on his throne.
Luke: Alright, let's see if I can do this right.
Luke charges at Belos, successfully tracing a large spell circle and with a twirl of the Owl Staff he thrusts and unleashes a beam of energy, but Belos forms a barrier without even moving a finger, cancelling the blast. He lifts a finger and sends out energy shots. Luke deflects with 2 swings and couple twirls. He then destroys two monster claws with two swings from the Owl Staff.
Owlbert hoots and spreads his wings as the witch-warrior slams the butt of the staff into the floor, rocketing into the air with a flip and slams the staff down, summoning a row of ice spikes that Belos stops and shatters simply by holding up his finger and creating another tiny spell circle.
Belos: Come now human. Must this involve such violence. I merely wish to talk.
Luke stood up, scowling. He dismisses Owlbert and brings out Rebellion.
Luke: Sorry horn-head. Whatever crap you wanna tell me doesn't interest me, but…
With a swing of the handle, the blade emerges, and Luke performs a couple spins with his sword before pointing it right at Belos, scowling and ready for a fight.
Luke: Your swan song will!
He clutches Rebellion with both hands and gives a battle cry, rushing at Belos and leaping towards him. Time slows down from Belos's perspective.
Belos: Okay.
When Luke gets inches from his face Belos melts from the throne and Luke ends up slicing it in half much to his shock when he lands.
Luke: What the hell!?
Luke turns his head to see Belos emerge in the same place he was stood before attacking.
Belos: I'll play. But fair warning…you're not the only with a sword.
Star Wars Rebels – Your Master has Deceived you
Belos takes out what appears to be a sword handle. Luke recoils in surprise when a blade surges out the handle in blue light.
It's an ornate but fairly unremarkable sword. The guard takes a "W" shape, vaguely resembling horns. It has a spiral handle that leads to four skulls on the pommel with a spike at the top.
Luke widens his eyes, recognising the sword.
Luke: What the hell…?
Belos: Surprised.
Luke: That sword…I've seen it in the murals at the castle.
Belos: I imagine you have. The Force Edge. The sword of the Legendary Dark Knight, Sparda. Upon defeating him I claimed this as my prize. Along with the Yamato which I had passed down. Belos held the sword in front, presenting it. This sword is more powerful than it looks. And it holds a great power within that I have yet to unlock. But soon I will figure out all its secrets, the secrets of Sparda and I will be that much closer to achieving the Day of Unity. I am this world's only hope of salvation.
Luke: Blah, blah, blah. Maybe you can save this little speech until you have some alone time. You're embarrassing yourself. Now shut up and let Eda go!
Luke grits his teeth and leaps at the emperor, attempting to slash him but Belos evades by merely taking a step back. When the human lands he proceeds to cut down Belos, but the emperor effortlessly blocks Luke with one swing from his sword. Luke pushes with all his strength but Belos is easily holding him down without much effort. He pushes Luke off and flicks his finger, telepathically sending Luke flying. The human boy cries out and hits his back hard. That doesn't stop him from getting up and charging Belos.
Luke slashes but Belos deflects (this time with two hands). Luke swings down but Belos blocks and redirects. Luke's third slash is also blocked and when he goes in for a thrust Belos leans and grabs both his wrists, lifting him up effortlessly before tossing him away.
Luke grunts loudly as he slams into the base of a towering statue. A crack travels up the statue, until it frees the giant two-headed axe, which Luke just barely dodges by running. Luke sends a fireblast at spikes of earth and freezes a giant red hand in a block of ice. More earth spikes appear but he dodges and summons a glyph gun to fire his grapple claw witch latches onto another statue. Luke flies up and swung around the statue, switching his sword to Electric Mode and proceeding to impale Belos.
The emperor stands immobile a massive worm monster appears around him. Luke screams as the monster swallows him. However, it's entire body becomes engulfed in blue electricity from within and explodes. When Luke lands his entire world pulses as he listens to Belos' voice all around him.
Belos: What's wrong, human? I thought you wanted to fight.
Luke: Damn you, Belos! Show yourself! Come out and face me you coward! I'm not afraid of you!
Belos: Belos chuckles. You sound just like him.
The shadow of Belos passes, and Luke turns to face it. He pants heavily, trying to deduce where Belos will strike.
Luke: Come on…where is he!? Dammit!
This battle is being fought on two fronts. Luke is duelling with Emperor Belos and Amity is duelling with Golden Guard. And right now…both heroes are struggling.

Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep – Vanitas Boss Music (Enter the Darkness)
Back with Amity, the youngest Blight has is unconscious after having a hard landing at the bottom of the jail cells chamber. She's a bit bruised and ruffled but manages to squint her eyes open. She lifts herself up, rubbing her head.
Amity: Ah…my head.
When she looks up see gasps to see the Golden Guard diving towards her and performing a flash-step to speed up. Amity jumps out of way but when the Golden Guard lands a red shockwave sends Amity flying and screaming into another wall. She struggles to stand when she lands, and the Guard stood up resting his staff on his shoulder and facing Amity.
Golden Guard: Had enough girlie?
Amity: You wish!
Golden Guard: Just give it up already. You can't win. I'm stronger than you. You're not even worthy of me using Yamato to fight you.
Amity growls in anger at being taken lightly.
Amity: Don't underestimate me! I'm stronger than you think!
She forms her chakrams again and rushes the Golden Guard with a battle cry. She tosses one of her chakrams, but Golden Guard spins his staff to deflect before firing red energy blasts from it. Amity leapt high up, catching her chakram and engulfing it in her fire magic. She swings her weapons to unleash a rain of uncontrollable flames. The Golden Guard rides his staff, dodging the flames as Amity forms her chakrams into a spike gauntlet, diving towards the Golden Guard as he gets on the ground. Amity was close to delivering a devastating punch but the Guard flash-steps.
She ends up punching the ground and when she got up the Golden Guard appears a couple distances away to fire a red bolt of energy that Amity quickly deflects by deforming her glove and bringing the goo out it in front of her like a shield.
The Golden Guard unleashes a barrage of energy blast and Amity moves her shield around deflecting many as she could before twirling and tracing a large spell circle to unleash a blast of flames at the scout. However, the Golden Guard traces a large red spell circle with his staff and swung it to release a large stream of water that douses the flames and engulfs Amity, sending her screaming and sprawling across the floor.
She manages to get on her knees but pants heavily in exhaustion, bruised up, drenched in water and her hair messy as strands of it fell in front of face.
Golden Guard: Getting tired, little lady?
Amity: Amity angrily lifts her head up. I'm far from done.
Amity got up and summon Abomination goo all around the Golden Guard and proceeds to engulf him in them, but he slams his staff in the ground, unleashing an energy shockwave the destroys the goo before charging towards her. She forms a spiked glove to punch the Golden Guard only for him to flash-step to her left. She launches a fireball but the Guard teleports to her right. Amity proceeds to launch multiple fireballs at the Golden Guard but he dashes around her, constantly dodging and confusing her.
Amity: Hold still you jerk!
He disappears and reappears behind Amity reeling his staff back.
Golden Guard: Boo.
Amity gasps, turning to see the Golden Guard launch a vicious power swing into her stomach. She's sent flying and screaming but manages to claw onto the ground, getting up to trace a shaky spell circle send another fireball but the Guard flash-steps through and stabs Amity with the wing of his staff. She cries out in terrible pain and agony, as she feels blood seeping out of her abdomen. The Golden Guard delivers a kick that sends her sprawling across the ground.
She laid there on her face, but to the Golden Guard's hidden surprise Amity gets up. She grunts as she got on her knees and then her feet, wobbling as she held her stomach, blood seeping out. She loses her bun and now her hair has gone down, strands of her front hanging in front of her forehead. Her outfit is a little tattered and covered in scratches. She gives her opponent a deadly glare as he rests his staff on his shoulder.
Golden Guard: You just don't know when to quit, do you? I kinda like that. You'd be a good recruit for the Emperor's Coven.
Amity: Not interested. Not anymore.
Golden Guard: That's a shame. Either way, give up mint-hair. It's like I said. You're out of your league.
Amity: I don't CARE! I'm going to help LUKE, no matter what!
Golden Guard: The human…he's important to you, isn't he? I wonder just how much. Amity gives an angered scowl and goes red. Ooooh. So, he's that important to you, huh. Cute. A human and a witch, never would've put that together.
Amity: SHUT UP!
Amity creates chakrams and charges the Golden Guard with a battle cry and he launches multiple red energy shots. Amity deflects them and acrobatically flips around to dodge them. When she gets close the Golden Guard thrusts his staff, but Amity lifts her leg to stomp it, pinning the staff to the floor.
Golden Guard: WHAT!?
Amity spun around to kick the Golden Guard in the face, sending him stumbling back. She forms her chakrams into a spiked glove and punches him right in the stomach, sending Belos' right-hand crashing and slamming into the wall. Without wasting time, Amity traces a large spell circle, summoning a massive groaning Abomination that engulfs the guard and seals him in a ball of purple goo.

Amity pants heavily with her hands held out, worn down by fatigue and her injuries. She manages to force on a cocky smile.
Amity: How's that for a little girlie, jerk?
Her smile fell when she drops to her knees, spent and exhausted with sweat and a little blood dripping from her face and her hair hanging down.
Amity: So…tired. But…I can't give up. Luke needs me.
Amity got up to cast a spell, creating Abomination goo the floats in front of her. She gets on it and rides it like a hoverboard, up the whole chamber, determined to help Luke. Unfortunately, as she rose up the chamber, she didn't notice the orb she created violently writhing. The Golden Guard was breaking out. And he does by blasting out of the goo, surrounded in a veil of energy as he rockets towards Amity with his staff pointed.
By the time she turns Amity is smashed by the guard and sent screaming. She smashes into a wall on the fourth floor, creating a crater. When the Golden Guard dives down towards her, Amity quickly forms a large Abomination to catch the Guard and hold him off. Amity quickly limps to a doorway, her Abomination struggling to hold off the enemy.
Amity is limping across the hallway, using the wall as support and making a couple of turns. She grunts in pain with each step she takes.
Amity: Luke. Just hang on. I'm coming.
Amity hears an explosion, followed by a playful whistle (Owl House theme tune). Amity gasps, turning to see a shadow. She quickly takes cover in the corner at the other end of the corridor. She sweats and casts, her hand flaring up with magenta flame as the whistle gets louder. Thinking the Golden Guard was getting close Amity jumps out of hiding to launch a fireball but to her surprise the Golden Guard is nowhere in sight. However, she still hears his whistle and now it sounds like it's coming from all directions.
Amity walks back and freezes in fear when she bumps into someone. The Golden Guard was stood right behind her and Amity shakes, not just afraid that he's somehow behind her but horrified to realize just how outclassed she truly is.
Golden Guard: Well, hello there. Haven't we met before? It's been so long waiting here.
Amity sweats and shakes but musters up the courage to put on a brave face, forming a spiked glove and turning to punch the Golden Guard only for him to flash-step. She smashes a wall with enough force to leave a crack.
She hears a whistle and turns to see the Golden Guard casually leaning against the wall, arms crossed.
Golden Guard: Hey, I'm over here. A fireball is launched, and he teleports, now lying on his side playfully. Hiii.
Another fireball is launched and the Golden Guard teleports once more in front of Amity to thrust his staff. Amity ducks, barely dodging the thrust, then knees him in the gut to push him back. Amity follows with a spin kick but the Golden Guard bends back. He lifts himself up to headbutt Amity, causing her to cry out. He flash-steps once again, slamming Amity into the wall and lifting her by the throat. He holds his staff to her stomach, sending a red energy blast. Amity screams in pain as she's blasted through the wall and into another of a different corridor.
She drops on her rear, panting in pain and exhaustion, covered in more bruises, cuts and tatters in her outfit, including some goo. She notices a puddle of her goo near her foot and began using the back of it to draw on it. She gasps when the Golden Guard teleports in front of her menacingly.
Golden Guard: Ready to give up?
Amity: Amity grins. Not even close.
Amity drew an Ice Glyph on the goo and slams it with her foot. A sharp icicle bursts out of the Glyph and hits the Golden Guard's mask. The boy stumbles back, grunting in pain as he held his mask. Amity watches as the Guard turns around chuckling a little, a piece of his mask chipped off to reveal one of his red eyes underneath.
Golden Guard: Not bad, not bad at all. You're pretty good, Blight. Amity gasps to hear her maiden name. That's right, I know who you are. You're Amity Blight, aren't you? The youngest daughter of Odalia and Alador Blight.
Amity: So, what if I am?
Golden Guard: Why would you oppose the Emperor's Coven? From what I've heard you've been training your whole life to join us. You're a strong witch Blight, not as good as me of course, but still…you have a bright future ahead of you. Why throw that away to help criminals?
Amity glares at the Golden Guard with passion as she struggled to stand.
Amity: Because…those criminals are my friends! Before I met Luke, I used to only care about myself. I used to think joining the Emperor's Coven was my future. Amity groans a little, using the wall as support. But when I met Luke, when I became friends with him, I started thinking about the kind of person I really want to be. Luke, Eda, King, Willow and Gus…they helped me learn how to think for myself. There might've been a time I would've agreed with you but not anymore. And after everything I've seen from the Emperor's Coven and the horrible punishments given by the Emperor, I don't want any part of it or any kind of coven.
Golden Guard: If you're not gonna join a coven then you'll be considered a wild witch. What future do you think you'll have then?
Amity is fully stood up, finding the strength to lift her head up and give a heated glare.
Amity: I don't know that yet. What I do know is that I'm not the person my mom has been trying to force me to be. I don't know what my future is now or what I really want to be, but from here on out, that's my choice! And right now, I choose to help my friends!
Amity lunges at the Golden Guard throwing weak punches and kicks (due to her injuries) that the Golden Guard easily dodges by leaning his head and walking back. He eventually catches her wrist.
Golden Guard: If you want to see your human so badly, then allow me to be of assistance.
His staff glows and a large earth fist emerges from floor, punching Amity in the stomach and sending her screaming towards the ceiling, a loud smash resounding through the corridors in the process.
Devil May Cry 4 – Chorus in the Darkness
Luke's in a standstill in his duel with Belos trying to predict where he'll reappear.
Luke: Come on Luke, you can do this. Just feel out his movements.
Luke closes his eyes and stands straight, holding his sword in front of him as he concentrates with all his will. He hears a pebble rubble behind him, causing him to open his eyes and switch his sword to Light Mode.
Luke: There you are!
Luke turns and swings his sword the moment Belos reappears. The emperor was barely able to block but holds back the powered-up sword. Luke grits his teeth and Belos chuckles as they lock blades, magic grinding.
Belos: You have sharp senses. Very impressive human.
Luke: I'm full of surprises, tyrant! Like this!
Luke pushes Belos back and swung his sword to release an energy blade that smashes into emperor, sending him skidding back with a loud grunt. He merely laughs the pain off.
Belos: That sword is quite remarkable.
Luke: You think it's remarkable now? Just watch this!
Luke switches Rebellion to Water Mode and launches blades of water at Belos who closes Force Edge and summons his staff, deflecting the water with simple staff swing. Luke aims his sword and launches a stream of water from the tip which Belos blocks with a force field. Luke leapt up to smash the ground, unleashing a geyser that engulfs Belos, though he doesn't flinch. Luke tosses a couple of Ice Glyphs at the geyser, freezing it and Belos in solid ice. Unfortunately, the emperor shatters that ice with his staff.
Rebellion is switched to Ice Mode and Luke does a couple twirls with his blade before slamming the tip into the ground. Hundreds of sharp icicles head towards Belos and emerge behind him. Once again, the emperor is immobile and merely held up his staff to encase himself in a red energy barrier that blocks the icicles. He shatters the barrier and the ice. The shattered pieces of ice float around him, engulfed in red energy and with one staff motion he sends the sharp pieces flying towards Luke.
Luke switches Rebellion to Fire Mode and swung his sword create a wall of fire, melting the ice. When the flames dissipate, Luke aims his sword to send out a beam of fire at Belos but the emperor counters with a red beam of energy from his staff. Both beams collied and explode in a massive explosion.
A massive root bursts out of the smoke with Luke riding it towards Belos, switching his sword to Plant Mode before leaping off. Belos melts away, reappearing away from the roots as Luke unleashes a green energy blade that Belos barely avoids. When it hits the ground, roots and vines burst out to engulf the emperor, trapping him in a vine cage.
Rebellion is switched to Electric Mode as Luke flips and dives down towards Belos. With a battle cry he slashes the vine cage just as red energy blasts out. An explosive shockwave occurs as Luke and Belos clash. Luke pushes his sword against Belos' orb who's actually putting in much more effort this time, caught off-guard by Luke's creativity. Electricity and energy emanate from their weapons.
Luke flips back, landing on his feet. He switches out Rebellion for his Glyph Guns and charges the emperor, firing a barrage of elemental shots. Belos spun his staff, deflecting them all. When Luke got close enough, he swung his staff and only for the boy to flip above him firing double ice shots that freeze his legs. Luke lands on his rear firing fire, water, electric and light shots that hit Belos in the back and causes him to stumble away, while breaking free from the ice.
Luke switches out his guns for Rebellion in Electric Mode. He rushes the emperor again to slash only for him to dismiss his staff, reopen Force Edge and parry. Luke thrusts and Belos dodges. They both slash and meet in a deadlock, both share an intense stare down.
Belos: I must admit, you truly impress me young man. The Owl Lady has taught you well, though you're still nowhere near my level.
Luke: Maybe in terms of power and magic, but I've got brains.
Luke brings out and activates an ice glyph, sending out a sharp ice pillar that hits Belos's mask, chipping a piece off. Belos grunts, stumbling away in pain while holding his mask. Luke gets in an offensive stance, smirking.
Luke: How do you like them apples your "highness."
Belos: Belos merely chuckles. I like your spirit. He turns to reveal a glowing blue eye shining out of the broken half of his mask. But try that again and things won't end well for you.
Luke: Luke glares as Belos approaches. I don't fear you.
Belos: Then you will die braver than most.
Luke and Belos exchange more swings, the latter aiming for the former's feet only to be stopped. The raise their swords and lock blades again.
Belos: I think I'm done playing now.
When Luke proceeds to slash Belos again, the emperor slices his shoulder and Luke cries out in pain as he feels his shoulder get cut and blood come out. Belos held up Force Edge, a bolt of blue electricity engulfs it, causing it glow blue and he brought it down. Luke held up Rebellion, barely blocking Belos and feels his feet get dug into the floor. Belos unleashes a merciless onslaught of one-handed swings the Luke struggles to block. With each strike, electricity surges and Luke is having a hard time blocking the emperor. Eventually, Belos delivers a swing hard enough to make Luke stumble back and drop his defences and then switches out the sword for his Artificial Staff.
Belos then smacks Luke in the stomach with the orb of his staff, lifting him in the air. Luke gasps for air and Belos fires a red beam of energy that sends Luke flying and screaming. He sprawls across the floor but manages to claw on with his free hand. Luke attacks Belos again but the emperor does something insanely horrifying.
His hand becomes terrifyingly longer and gooey, stretching towards Luke who had no time to react when he's grabbed, losing his sword in the process. Luke screams in horrible pain as Belos violently smashes him pretty much everywhere around the room. First repeatedly on the floor, then into a couple of statues and finally the floor again, splashing him with goo.

As Belos' arm turns to normal Luke is laid on the floor groaning in pain. He's badly bruised, a bleeding cut in his shoulder, his outfit and coat has a couple holes and his hair a little dishevelled. He twists his body, grunting and groaning as her resummons Rebellion which he uses to help him get on one knee only for more monster arms to grab his entire body and limbs, forcing him back to the ground on his back. Luke has a look of disgust and trauma from what he witnessed as Belos appears from the shadows in front of him.
Luke: W-what are you?
Belos: My apologies that you had to witness that. It's part of a grotesque condition I've been inflicted with.
Luke: You mean a curse…like Eda's?
Belos: You could say that. I was involved in an unfortunate accident years ago before I even became emperor. I take… "special medication" to prevent it from overtaking me but it does have its uses every now and then. Luke widens his eyes, realizing those special medication are palismen, remembering what he saw in his throne room. And as for you…you truly are quite the young warrior, human. You wield glyphs and your weaponry with such mastery. I'm especially intrigued by that sword, it's quite fascinating. You'd actually make a good fit for my coven if you were wise enough to switch loyalty.
Luke: Pass! I think I'd rather get boiled alive by the boiling rain than join a sicko who eats Palisman like they're candy.
Belos: How unfortunate. Now, onto business. I didn't lure you here so we can fight. Like I said I merely wish to talk. And if you agree to my terms, I may spare your beloved mentor.
Luke: What do you want for me?
Belos: Belos paces around Luke. I'm just a humble messenger for the Titan. In the grand scheme of things, the Owl Lady's life is inconsequential. He steps directly in front of Luke. But then you showed up. If you want to save your mentor, give me the portal to the human realm.
Luke is horrified by this demand.
Luke: But... my home.
Up above, the petrification machine is now fully powered on. A bolt of green energy directs itself to the cage. Eda, King, and Lilith all scream. Eda dives in front of Lilith and King, taking the full brunt of the blast of magic.
Lilith: Edalyn!
Eda gives a beastly scream of agony.
Down below, Luke looks up in horror, hearing Eda's screams of agony.
Luke: EDA!
Emperor Belos: You probably think we want to invade the human realm, but the Titan's will is not so boarish. You'll understand soon. Tick tock, human. The Owl Lady doesn't have much time left.
Luke: Luke shakes his head, tears welling up. No…never! I'm not gonna let a sick bastard like YOU into my world! And I'm not gonna let you do this to Eda!
Devil May Cry 4 – Swipe of the Sword
Luke eyes to glow electric blue and all the glyphs on Rebellion activate as electricity surges from him, releasing a surge of blinding blue aura that fails to faze Belos, allowing him to burst out of the hands restraining him, revealing himself to have transformed. Luke glares at Belos, him and Rebellion engulfed in a fiery electric aura and his hair turns blue.
Belos: Ahh. There it is. The peak of your abilities. This is the power I had heard rumours about. I can now see they were true. Belos gives Luke a deep look, Sparda briefly taking his place. How interesting…you really do look alike.
He zaps towards Belos with a sword thrust only for the emperor to melt away. Luke skids a great distance away from Belos after he reappears in the same spot, holding Force Edge in place of his staff. They turn to face each other, and Luke got in a stance.
Belos: If you do not adhere to my demands then the Owl Lady will suffer a fate far worse than death.
Luke: Then I'll just have to kill you before I let that happen!
Belos releases a sphere of energy from Force Edge and with a swing of Rebellion, Luke unleashes an energy blade. The two collide in an explosion.
Luke launches himself at Belos, releasing a lot of energy. He launches two swings that Belos parries, both Rebellion and Force Edge release electricity upon collisions. Luke deflects one swing, then ducks another before spotting Belos' boot underneath his robe and steps on it, surprising the emperor as he barely deflects more swings from Luke. He ducks another swing and flips above the emperor. He's forced to hold Force Edge in middle stance as Luke swung left and right, unleashing energy with each strike.
Luke launches an overhead upper slash, launching himself into the air and disarming Belos of Force Edge while releasing a surge of power.
Luke: Blast Off!
He then follows up with a helm breaking downward slash.
Luke: Begone!
Belos is forced to hold out his hands to summon a barrier, blocking Luke and repelling him. Luke lands on his feet as Belos catches Sparda's sword. Luke bursts with power, Rebellion releasing a multi-coloured aura as he leapt up, giving a battle cry with his sword held overhead and diving towards Belos who responds by holding Force Edge overhead. At close range the two swung their blades and collide, releasing a massive surge of electricity once more that shakes the entire Conformatorium.
All the coven scouts inside stumble around, caught off-guard by the trembling.
As are Willow, Gus and the crowd of protestors outside. Including, Kikimora, Lilith and King.
King: What's happening!?
Eda: I-it's Luke! I know it!
Luke and Belos are blown back, landing on his feet, the former with one hand on the floor and glaring at the emperor who remains calm and seemingly emotionless. Luke has given it everything he's got but he's barely able to lay a finger on Belos. He pants in exhaustion as he reverts back to normal.
Luke: Oh man…no one was kidding when they said Belos was the most skilled witch alive. I've thrown everything I've had and all I've done is chipped his mask.
Belos: Belos chuckles once again. I must admit…witch-warrior, you're more powerful than I had anticipated. But it seems your power's running out. You're unable to control it.
Luke: I can still fight!
Belos: Perhaps. But you cannot win. And even if by some miracle you do manage to get through me, your mentor will be permanently petrified. All you need to do is hand over the portal to the human realm and I will set you both free. Luke grits his teeth. You have my word that I have no intention of invading it or hurting its inhabitants.
Luke: Your words mean jack, you reindeer freak! I've never quit before and I won't quit now!
Just as Luke was about to attack a violent rumbling is heard that shakes him while Belos stood unfazed.
Belos: Ah. Right on time.
A large fist emerges from the floor along with a screaming Amity who hits the floor right in front of it hard.
Luke: AMITY!
Amity: Amity weakly looks up to see Luke. Luke!
…
Before she could say anything else the Golden Guard appears to smash the butt of his staff against Amity's back and she cries out in horrible pain, much to Luke's horror.
Luke: No!
Amity: Amity reaches out to Luke, crying. Luke…run…
Her face drops and she falls unconscious. The Golden Guard lifts his head up.
Golden Guard: Hiiii…
Luke grits his teeth in rage, clenching a fist at the sight of the Golden Guard, the guy who humiliated him at the Covention.
Luke: You…
The Golden Guard stood up.
Golden Guard: Hello again, human. I trust you haven't forgotten me.
Luke: Wish I could. But I owe you a hell of a beating for humiliating me at the Covention.
Golden Guard: Come on, human. You're not holding a grudge over me effortlessly defeating you at the Covention in front of the entire town, are ya?
Luke: You just literally summarized why I'd hold a grudge against you, asshole.
Golden Guard: The Guard turns to Belos. Apologies for the interruption's Lord Belos.
Belos: No, no, your arrival is most welcome. Excellent work with the girl, nephew.
Luke widens his eyes in shock.
Luke: Nephew!?
Belos: Belos walks up next to the Golden Guard. Luke the Human. Allow me to introduce you to my nephew and trusted right-hand, the Golden Guard. The most powerful of my coven scouts and the wielder of the Yamato. Belos proudly pats the Golden Guard's shoulder. Oh, but yes, you've already met him, haven't you? I observed your duel in the Covention. A good show indeed, but ultimately of course you were no match for my nephew. Luke growls at that. Don't feel too sore about it human. After all, my nephew is a true prodigy. One I am proud to have serve alongside me. The Titan has big plans for this one.
Golden Guard: What's about to happen should be relatively painless if you just do what we say.
Luke: Why would I listen to a tool like you?
Golden Guard: Because you can't use real magic. You're tired from your fight with my uncle. And your little girlfriend is at our mercy.
Luke: Luke blushes in anger. 1. She's not my girlfriend! 2. You're the one who's going to be at MY mercy when I'm through with you!
Luke charges the Golden Guard only for him to flash-step and smash his staff against his sword. Luke barely blocks as he skids across the floor but manages to stand his ground. He struggles to hold off the Golden Guard who holds down Luke with one hand on his staff.
Golden Guard: That all you got human? Guess fighting my uncle took a lot out of you. I'm surprised you were even able to last against him.
Luke: I'm not done yet!
Golden Guard: Your friend said the same thing and she never stood a chance against me. And neither do you!
The Golden Guard pushes Luke off and sweeps him of his feet before getting on his hand to deliver a kick the sends the human boy flying. Luke sprawls across the ground, barely regaining his footing. He growls at the Golden Guard who rests his staff on his shoulder.
Golden Guard: Listen human. The emperor here didn't wish to take it this far. We merely want your portal door. All you have to do is hand it over to us and we'll allow you both to save the Owl Lady. If not, then the Owl Lady will be stone forever, your girlfriend will be locked in a cell for committing treason against the emperor and you'll probably die here.
Luke: Not while I'm still breathing.
Belos: If you will not hand over the portal door, I suppose we have no choice but to take it from your corpse. Nephew, take care of this.
Golden Guard: My pleasure.
Devil May Cry 3 – Dante & Vergil Boss 1 Theme
Belos watches as his nephew approaches Luke. He dismisses his staff and reveals Yamato, clutching its scabbard.
Golden Guard: I didn't need to use Yamato against your little girlfriend. You should be honoured I consider you worthy enough to use it against you.
Luke: Luke scowls. You know, I'm glad you're here. We've got a score to settle, you cocky bastard.
Golden Guard: The guard chuckles. You really need to let that loss go human. Someone may think you're a sore loser.
Luke: Luke clutches Rebellion tightly. I am a sore loser, cause I never should've lost to a jackass like you.
Golden Guard: Do you really think you can beat me this time?
Luke: I'm not the same I was back then.
Golden Guard: Maybe so, but you're too tired from fighting my uncle to put up a decent fight. Oh, and fair warning, back then I was holding back since we were fighting in front of a crowd. Right now…I have no reason to. Still think you can win?
Despite the odds being stacked against him, Luke remains determined, glaring at the Golden Guard.
Luke: Why don't we find out? It's time for Round 2!
The two warriors share a glare with Belos watching from the back. They both clutch their weapons, ready to fight.
Golden Guard: You got that right.
The Golden Guard pokes Yamato out of its scabbard and Luke opens Rebellion at the same time. Their 2nd duel gets underway, and they launch themselves at each other. The Golden Guard draws Yamato and the two of them lock blades. As a result, Rebellion and Yamato glow blue and gold respectively like they did in the Covention.
The two-trade furious sword strikes that keep resonating with power for each collision. The Golden Guard slowly forces Luke back until the human boy parries a blow and delivers a kick to the stomach, sending the scout sliding back, clutching his stomach in surprise. Undeterred, he points his sword.
Golden Guard: You've been practicing.
Luke: Nice of you to notice.
Luke lunges the Golden Guard for another slash, but the Guard holds his katana downward, blocking Luke and locking blades with him, forcing the human boy back. Luke struggles but eventually manages to hold his ground. The Water Glyph glows, and water engulfs Rebellion, switching it to Water Mode. With a burst of water, Luke pushes the Golden Guard off, launching several aquatic swings the guard has hard time to deflecting as he's forced back. Luke thrusts and when the Golden Guard blocks, a high-pressed gush of water bursts from Rebellion sending him sliding.
He summons his staff in his free hand, thrusting it forward to unleash shots of red energy. Luke deflects three with some swings then spun his sword around to deflect more before summoning and launching a large of water and the Golden Guard responds by swinging Yamato to send out an energy blade. The two explode in the air, causing rain to pour down, drenching them both. Rebellion reverts to normal, and the Golden Guard dismisses his staff and flash-steps, teleporting behind Luke who turns around to meet the Guard with a swing.
The Golden Guard teleports again and this time Luke held his behind his head to block. The scout flash-steps in front of Luke but once again he manages to predict this and thrusts his sword, grinding against the Guard's as they barely miss each other. The Golden Guard flash-steps one more time, this time into the air with both his sword and scabbard in hand as he dove down, and Luke ran forth to swing Rebellion. They both clash, releasing a shockwave that blows them both back.
The Guard's hood is blown back, revealing his blonde hair once more and Luke's goggles fell behind him.
Neither of these two warriors are willing to back down. Things look even…so far. Rain from Luke's water orb kept pouring down, drenching both of them. Luke and the Golden Guard clutch Rebellion and Yamato tightly.
Devil May Cry 3 – Demon's Awakening
Amity slowly regains consciousness, lifting her head up enough to see Luke and the Golden Guard about to face off, her hair soaking wet.
Amity: Luke…?
Luke charges the Golden Guard, grinding his sword along the floor before giving a swing that the Guard deflect. The two boys exchange fast swings with their swords, Luke reels his and thrusts only for the Golden Guard to deflect by spinning Yamato. He follows up by slamming the handle of his katana into Luke's chest, sending him flying with a grunt. Luke quickly parries the blade and slams into a statue with a grunt.
He quickly bolts up, summons a Glyph Gun and fires 6 bullets, but the Golden Guard spun his katana at high-speed, catching the bullets and lining them up on the ground before returning to sender with a swing. Luke cuts down the bullets in half with perfect precision and they whizz past him, exploding. Luke got up glaring at the Golden Guard as they slowly walk around in circles.
Golden Guard: You got guts human; I'll give you that. But you're out of your league. I don't want to kill you. But I will if you don't hand over the portal…
Luke: How many times do I have to say it before it sinks in through your thick skulls. I'm not giving the portal door!
Golden Guard: Why do you continue refusing to cooperate even though it's the only way to save your friends?
Luke: No special reason. I just don't like YOU. That's all. Especially, your bastard uncle.
And with that, both Luke and the Golden Guard transform, unleashing their power and releasing blue and gold aura respectively as their hair and eyes change colours. Belos watches in interest as the two power up, surging with electricity and getting into stances with their weapons for one last bout.
Luke and the Golden Guard launch themselves at each other and duel. They both clash, exchanging fast and expert swings with their weapons. As they trade blows, Rebellion and Yamato glow blue and yellow, getting pelted by drops of water. They swung their swords left and right, upwards and downwards in a clash, so epic wind and water was forming around them, and energy was released with each strike they exchange. This all eventually leads to them launching their strongest swings, locking blades.
Luke and the Golden Guard push in their deadlock with all their strength, sparks and heat grinding from their swords. But the Guard is slowly overpowering the human boy, moving his sword up. Eventually, the guard sends Rebellion flying high up into the air, leaving Luke wide open.
Everything slows down as the sword fell down, the reflection of the Golden Guard reeling his katana back and Amity's face contorts with horror and Belos watches, smiling under his mask.
Belos: It's over.
The Golden Guard drives the Yamato right into Luke's stomach. Luke gasps in sheer pain and horror as he hears a sickening sound of something sharp going through his body. Luke stood, frozen and filled with disbelief. He chokes as he feels blood emerging from the where he was stabbed. Rebellion stuck to the floor between Belos and the Guard.
Amity's face is filled with pure horror and trauma, tears welling up as she tries to process what she just saw. Belos stood unfazed.
Belos: It is done.
Amity: No… The tears now gush out her eyes. LUUUUKKKEEE!
Luke struggles to catch his breath, gasping and wheezing as blood seeps and drips from his stomach, and he reverts to normal, the force from the Golden Guard's attack causing his goggles to slip back his head and fall onto the floor. He cries out when the Golden Guard digs his blade deeper. Luke clutches the Yamato, glaring at the Guard in pain and rage.
Golden Guard: Foolishness human, foolishness. If you had just cooperated earlier this all could've been avoided. But no, you chose to be a hero… and a wild witch. Human or not, all wild witches must be punished.
The Golden Guard pulls his katana out and pushes Luke off. The human boy lands on his back hard, losing blood as he chokes and gasps for air. The Golden Guard looks down on his fallen adversary, reverting to normal, sheathing his katana and pulling his hood back up. He walks away to Belos, pulling Rebellion off in the process. Luke weakly lifts himself up, reaching out for his weapon only for the Golden Guard to flash-step in an instant.
Amity could only watch in sheer horror as her crush got jammed right in the chest by his own sword. She was speechless and petrified by what she saw.
Luke's eyes shake in disbelief as he saw his sword jammed into his own chest. When it all sinks in he drops back, now lying in a puddle of his own blood as his eyes slowly begin to close, slowly losing life, the rain stopping. The Golden Guard turns to his uncle after releasing Luke's sword.
Golden Guard: It is done Lord Belos.
Belos proudly and slowly claps for his right-hand's victory.
Belos: Bravo. Well done nephew. Well done.
Amity: NOOOO!
Tears gush out of Amity's eyes as she rushed over to Luke. The Golden Guard teleports next to Belos as she drops down to Luke and lifts his head, trying to shake him and keep his eyes open.
Amity: LUKE! Luke, look at me! Look at me!
Luke: A-Amity…
Luke's eyes slowly begin closing as he weakly reached out to her. Amity held onto his hand, tears gushing out her traumatised face.
Amity: Luke! Please! Stay with me! You're going to be alright! Please, stay awake! Luke slowly begins closing his eyes, blood seeping out his mouth. Amity cries even more. Luke, please, don't leave me! Please! You can't die! You can't! Luke! Luke! LUKE!
To her despair, Luke doesn't wake. His eye close as he head falls back, seemingly lifeless. Amity could only stare on in trauma as tears drip from her face onto Luke.
Amity: Luke…please don't go. She leans down embracing Luke's face in a hug, crying onto him. I love you…
Amity sobs and cries onto Luke's face, softly rubbing his face. Belos and the Golden Guard simply watch, seemingly emotionless and remorseless.
Belos: That's the thing about having friends. The more you love them, the more it hurts when they're gone.
Amity pulls her head back, her eyes narrowing with rage, her tears now being that of rage.
Amity: He was MY Luke…and you killed him! She looks at the Guard and Belos in fury, her eyes glowing purple. YOU BOTH KILLED HIM!
(Music Pause)
They both said nothing as Amity slams two spell circles in the ground to create a massive Abomination Tidal wave that proceeds to engulf Belos and the Golden Guard. Together, they use their staves to create a doubly strong forcefield that protects them and blows the goo away.
Amity leapt at Belos, screaming in rage and fury as the tears gush out her eyes, forming two spiked gloves as she dives down to smash one against the forcefield which surprisingly pushed Belos and the Golden Guard back. Amity continues crying hysterically.
Amity: I'LL KILL YOU!
Amity rushes to violently punch the forcefield in tearful rage over and over again, ignoring her injuries and fatigue. She kept pounding away at the forcefield, making it vibrate. Eventually, the Golden Guard's staff glows orange and when Amity throws another punch a fiery explosion occurs and sends her flying and screaming in pain. She sprawls and hits the floor hard, losing her gloves and lying on her face. She struggles to lift herself up and watches as Belos appears in front of her.
She got up to attack the emperor only for him to unleash red lighting from his fingers that engulf and electrify Amity as she fell on her back and screams out in horrible pain. Then a huge monster hand emerges and ensnares Amity, lifting her up and violently squeezing her hard. Amity screams in pain and agony. Belos unleashes more red lightning that engulfs Amity, and the monster claw squeezes her harder, cracking some of her bones. Amity screams even louder, writhing and struggling to move.
Belos: You brought this on yourself child. Assaulting the Emperor is treason which is punishable by death.
Belos intensifies the lightning and Amity screams continue to get louder. The Golden Guard watches as his uncle tortures Amity, his eye filled with concern. This is going a bit too far, especially with a child. He walks up next to the emperor.
Golden Guard: Lord Belos. With all due respect, is it necessary to do this? We've already made our point with the human.
Belos: Perhaps. I do not relish hurting anyone. However, those who dare to resist me are liable to become wild witches. And they must be made an example off, before the tragedy that took place in the Savage Ages is repeated. You understand that. Don't you?
Golden Guard: The Golden Guard looks down, stepping back. Yes. Of course.
Belos: Very good. Now to finish what I started.
Belos intensifies his lightning more and the claw squeezes Amity even harder. She screams at her loudest from the sheer burn and her ribs breaking.
Meanwhile, Eda is still being blasted by the petrification beam, roaring in sheer agony as she struggles to resist the petrification.
Kikimora: You cannot resist forever Owl Lady. Soon the beams will overwhelm you and you will be petrified for eternity.
King and Lilith hug onto each other, watching in horror as Eda protects them.
King: EDA!
Lilith: EDALYN! STAY STRONG!
Luke was still laid on the floor lifeless as he continued laying in a puddle of his blood. He hears the scream of Amity and roar of Eda, both in agony.
Luke: "Amity...Eda..."
The pain of the two people he held most dear causes the anger in his consciousness to boil. His hand twitches and the glyphs on Rebellion all glow brighter.
Amity is still screaming. The pain was becoming so unbearable she began crying again, tears streaming down her face.
Amity: L-Luke…!
Luke's other hand twitches as his blood begins to move, converging around Rebellion, like Luke's hearing Amity's name.
Amity falls unconscious and Belos prepares for the kill.
Belos: Farewell…little girl.
Luke's blood travels up Rebellion and seeps into the skull face. It was five seconds after the eyes of the skull flashes red, transforming into a screaming skull as the crossguards extends, the sword practically exploding out of Luke's body via a geyser of electricity, catching the attention of Belos and the Golden Guard.
Belos: What!?
From inside the electric geyser, Luke's eyes suddenly burst open, the sclera having become black once more.
From outside a huge rumbling occurs from the electric explosion, shaking the audience and coven members.
King: What's happening!?
Lilith: I don't know!
Willow: Why's everything shaking!?
Gus: Something tells me it has something to do with Luke!

Back with Luke, the human boy bursts out of the electrical geyser at high-speed. The Golden Guard quickly gets between him and Belos, drawing Yamato to barely blocking a furious punch that causes a lot of blood to spew from Luke's hand. The Golden Guard shakes, struggling to hold Luke's punch.
Golden Guard: How are you still standing!? I stabbed you twice! He widens his eye to see Luke's stab wounds are gone. Your wounds. They've healed!?
What disturbed him most was the look in Luke's face. His eyes have gone sinisterly black and his expression is monstrously menacing. Even more unsettling is Luke's fist stuck right through his katana, covered in blood.
Golden Guard: What are you?
Luke says nothing as he growls monstrously as he moves his hand around, more blood spewing as he frees his hand from Yamato and grabs the katana and then the Golden Guard's throat with his other hand, hard. The Guard chokes as he's lifted in the air, Luke giving a monstrous glare before tossing him away. The Guard heavily grunts as he slams into a statue and drops on his chest.
Luke glows with an ominous white light as he slowly approaches a surprised and off-guard Belos who steps back. Amity's vision is quite blurry, but she regains consciousness and enough vision to see Luke murderously approaching. Her eyes widen in disbelief.
Amity: Luke…
Luke breathes heavily as he gives Belos a murderous glare. To the everyone's shock, the human boy surges with blue electricity. He surrounded by a blue spell circle, followed up by yellow, green, orange, white and turquoise spell circles. They all spun around his body and Luke is violently surging with electricity that lights up the entire chamber. Everyone including Belos is confused as they watch.
Golden Guard: W-what is this!?
Belos: What manner of monstrosity and witchcraft is this?
Luke's heavy breathing turns into a beastly growl and snarl as his teeth turns into fangs, his hair slowly changing blue with a pair of horns rising, his skin and coat darkening and turning scaly, claws emerge from his fingers and toes, and he opens his eyes which glow electric blue.
The spell circles converge and explode, releasing massive electricity as Luke roars, throwing his head up as he undergoes a horrifying transformation, nothing like his previous one.
Luke has become some sort of humanoid devil with a lot of reptilian features. His face colour has gone demonically dark, his eyes are black, his eyes are black and blue and his ears are pointy like a demon's. His head seems to produce some spikey edges, appendages and two horns. His hairstyle remains the same, but it's become dark blue. His upper body has become scaly and dark blue with some spikes sticking out in certain places. his coat has transformed into a semi-chiropteran trench coat divided into three segments. 2 spikes also hang up the shoulders near the head. His trousers are replaced by bare skin too that has become scaly, spiky and black. His ankles are covered in dark blue greaves and he's no longer wearing shoes. His feet are black. His fingers and toes are spikey. And a pair of demonic wings are attached to his back.

Luke growls and pants heavily, his head bent down. Amity and the Golden Guard have their eyes widened in sheer disbelief at the horrifyingly vicious transformation, even Belos is surprised. Luke has transformed into a demon, the last demon they'd ever suspect. Luke has become…a devil.
Amity: Luke…?
Golden Guard: It can't be…!?
Belos: He's a devil!? But how!?
Devil Luke speaks in his usual voice, but with a little demon tone added to it like his previous transformation.
Luke: Stay away from my friends…and stay away from MY…AMITY!
Luke throws his head up releasing a demonic roar of pure rage and ferocity. His large demonic wings spread, and he blasts off, disappearing from sight much to Belos' shock.
Belos: What!? Where is-!?
Belos cries out when he's a fist rams into his stomach and sends him flying. He crashes into the remains of his skeleton throne and his hold over Amity is released. Luke zooms in to catch her and carry her bridal style. She gasps as she stares at Luke in disbelief while he flew to the floor, placing Amity down safely.
Amity: Luke…?
Luke nods at Amity, assuring he's still himself. Before anything could be said the Golden Guard flash-steps behind Luke to swing his staff only for demonic human to instantly turn and deliver an electrifying punch that sends the guard flying. He manages to recover and rapidly fires shots of red energy. Luke took flight, flying around the chamber dodging the shots. The Golden Guard sends out a massive fist made of Earth towards Luke, but he held out his hand. The Glyphs on Rebellion glow and the sword flew towards him. Luke caught it and the sword explodes with electricity.
Luke blasts off with his blade in hand as he surges with electrical energy. Luke met the fist with the tip of his sword and easily ploughs through, blasting through the Earth and towards the Golden Guard who quickly dismisses his staff, draws Yamato, transforms and releases gold aura and brough his katana back. The two engage in a clash.
The impact results in a shockwave and to the Golden Guard's shock and horror he finds himself getting overwhelmed by Devil Luke's newfound power as he radiates with electricity. Yamato glows brighter but the Guard is unable to stand his ground. Devil Luke pushes the Golden Guard down, forcing him to a knee as Rebellion glows with pure electrical power and with a roar, Luke swung his sword and sends the Golden Guard flying and screaming past Belos who got up to see his nephew get smashed into the back of the room, reverting to normal. He saw Luke in the air unscathed, looking down on him.
The Fire Glyph appears on Devil Luke's chest and the blue parts of his body glow fiery red and he rears his head back before breathing fire from his mouth. Belos counters with an energy blast from his staff, holding it with both hands. The blasts meet in an epic explosion that rocks the entire chamber and Amity shields her face. She gasps at what she's witnessing.
Devil Luke tears through the explosion, the Fire Glyph on his chest morphs into the Water Glyph, turning the red parts of his body standard blue and flames are replaced by water. He summons Rebellion (Water Mode) and stabs it into the ground, causing a geyser to erupt beneath Belos and engulfs him. Belos grunts, unable to move as a result of Devil Luke's newfound strength.
The Water Glyph morphs into the Ice Glyph, turning Devil Luke's body turquoise. He breathes a cold blast of sub-zero energy that envelopes the geyser and freezes Belos in ice. He is unable to escape this time due to Luke's power up.
The Ice Glyph morphs into the Plant Glyph, turning Devil Luke's body green. He leapt up to slam the floor with Rebellion and a massive tree root emerges, ensnaring Belos and smashing him across the chamber. Belos got up to see Luke in the air.
The Plant Glyph turns into the Light Glyph, causing Luke's body to glow yellow. Luke splits Rebellion (in Light Mode) in two. Belos' arms turn into their grotesque form and he stretches them at Luke, intent on grabbing him but Luke tosses his dual sabres and they cut through the arms and into Belos, slicing his robe and causing him to stumble back in pain, holding his arms.
Luke spreads his body out, bringing his hands together in a stance, forming ball of light surging with power that grows larger and larger until he releases it all in a massive beam of energy. Belos forms his barrier with his staff, struggling to hold back the beam with all his strength and magic. Electricity kept surging, tearing the chamber apart slowly and Belos gasps when the orb of his staff begins to crack, followed by the forcefield.
Amity watches on, amazed with Luke's display of inhuman power. Power that no human could possibly have. And the fact the boy she loves…a human…has transformed into a devil
Amity: Whoa…Luke…
(Slow-Motion) To Belos' great shock and dismay his forcefield then the orb of his staff shatters into pieces and the Light Glyph on Luke's chest morphs into the Electric Glyph, turning his body back into electrifying navy blue and he explodes with a blue aura. He resummons Rebellion and dives down towards Belos at high speed. Belos tosses his staff and brought out Force Edge, opening the blade and bringing it back. When Luke gets close, he swung. The human-devil and the emperor clash, creating an explosion of red and blue electrifying energy.
This surge blows both Luke and Belos away from each other, the latter stumbling while the former lands on the ground, eyes glimmering with the spark of determination, having returned with vengeance and his rage exploded with the heat of a mighty inferno. Right as he was about to lay the beatdown, he calms down upon noticing Amity still laid on the floor, staring at her crush in pure shock.

Amity had her eyes widened in disbelief. Luke has unleashed a dark power that's turned him into a demon…but not just any demon…a devil. Closing Rebellion, Luke puts his sword away in his demonic coat. He walks over to the Youngest Blight who is struggling to process her crush being alive and a devil.
Amity: Luke…?
With a smile, Luke held out his hand and Amity takes it.
Luke: Hey Ams.
He helps her up and Amity looks at her crush in amazement and disbelief, slowly reaching out for his face.
Amity: Luke? Is it really you?
Amity touches Luke's new face softly and in return, Luke touches her hand softly while giving a smile.
Luke: Yeah. It's all me Ams.
Spell circles surround him and in a burst of blue electricity he reverts back to human form. With this confirmation, tears well up in Amity's and she embraces Luke in a hug, crying onto his shoulder. Luke returns the hug.
Amity: I thought you were dead…!
Luke: No way. Not yet. I don't plan on leaving my favourite girl behind.
Amity: Amity pulls back in tearful joy. But…how are you still alive!? Luke, you were stabbed! Twice! And you…you transformed into a devil…
Luke: I'm just as confused as you are. I don't know what the hell happened, but I'm glad it did. I thought I was dead too!
Belos: That can still be arranged.
The duo turn to the emperor staring at them with his soulless eyes.
Luke: We can figure out what just happened later. Luke brought out Rebellion once again. Right now, we've got an emperor we owe a hell of a beating.
Amity: Luke and Amity share a grin. Yeah.
Luke and Amity ran to the centre and stood together, facing Emperor Belos. The Youngest Blight forms her Abomination Chakrams once again, holding them by her side and Luke walks up with his sword in hand with a little grin on his face.
Luke: Well, pal. It's time for your punishment. Better pray to the Titan one last time. Pray to him for a painless DEATH!
Luke and Amity get into battle stances with their respective weapons.
Belos: A human with the power to transform into a devil. How interesting. I don't know how you have such power…but I must see more. It's time I change tactics.
Kingdom Hearts – Lord of the Castle
Belos crosses his arms then brings them down, blades of sinister red lightsabre-like blades emerging from his palms: His Ethereal Blades.
Belos: Come.
Luke: Alright, Ams. It's you and me.
Amity: From here on out.
Luke: Let's double team this ugly bastard.
Amity: I'm with you Luke. Let's go!
(Split Screen) Luke and Amity exchange grins before charging Belos together. Both launch a swing, Belos blocks Luke with one blade and Amity with the other. He sends them back and the two land on their feet. Luke is the first to lunge at Belos, launching several swings and trading blows with the emperor, parry his right blade, then blocks his left blade. He launches 3 swings that Belos parries before thrusting one of his blades. Luke ducks and Amity leaps above to slice Belos with her chakrams that he quickly parries. Amity lands on her and attacks, launching a couple spin kicks that Belos dodges by leaning his head, followed up with three swings from her chakrams that Belos quickly deflects. He brought down both his blades and Amity crosses her chakrams, stopping them. Luke leaps from behind with a battle cry to slice Belos only for the Emperor to counter with a speedy vertical spin move, knocking Luke and Amity back.
The two cry out but manage to barely land on their feet.
Belos: You'll have to do much better than that.
Luke slides in and fires shots from his Glyph Guns while Amity leaps to toss her chakrams which bounce off some statues, heading straight for Belos' head. The emperor teleports to evade the statues
Luke: Even after the beating I gave him this guy's magic makes him too quick!
Amity: I can trap him! Let's attack together!
The pair lunge Belos together and the emperor floats back, dodging a slice from Luke, then a slice and kick from Amity. The youngest Blight traces Spell Circles to slam onto the floor, causing Abomination goo to converge and ensnares Belos up to his hip area much to his surprise.
Belos: What!?
With battle cries, Luke and Amity lunge and slice Belos together, freeing him and making him stumble back with a grunt of pain as they land. The duo attack once more, Amity jumps off Luke's back to toss her chakram which Belos manages to deflect, then parries two slices from her. Luke rolls along her back to fire a shot from one of his guns that make Belos stumble again. Luke and Amity circle around as the Electric Glyph on Rebellion glows and evelops it in electricity. The two attack Belos again, prompting him to spin upside down like a top with his blades, deflecting them and forcing them to block and parry. His Ethereal Blades smash into Luke and Amity, sending them flying and screaming. They hit the floor and watch as Belos summons another massive worm monster that leaps and dives down to devour Luke and Amity. The pair got up, Luke spinning and combining his Glyph Guns and Amity tracing a large spell circle with both fingers.
Luke: Oh no, you don't!
Amity: Think again!
Luke unleashes a beam of energy and Amity launches a barrage of fireballs, blasting the creature together. Some of the fireballs burn its, causing it to roar in anguish as it fell. Luke charges with Rebellion, which is charged with electricity, and with a war cry he unleashes an uppercut, sending out a massive rupturing wave of electricity that slices through the monster, destroying and engulfing Belos, sending him flying.
The emperor lands on a knee and it was at that moment, Luke somersaults and brought up his legs for Amity to springboard off from. Luke got back up with his Glyph Guns to fire shots that Belos quickly deflects. With a battle cry she dives down towards Belos and the moment she got close, the emperor stood and thrusts his blade to impale her. (Slow- Motion) But Amity loosens up her coat and frees one of arms from the sleeve, causing Belos to stab his blade through it instead. This caught him off guard, long enough for Amity to get out of her coat (leaving her with just her crop top) and deliver a double kick right in Belos' mask. The emperor is sent back and Amity bounces off, elegantly flipping backwards to toss her chakrams again. One slices the emperor and the other is angrily deflected. After a graceful landing next to Luke, Amity catches her chakarms and two stood up striking a pose side by side together.
Luke: Nailed it!
Amity: Nice one!
Luke couldn't help but eye Amity, captivated by the beauty that was once hidden underneath her coat, her slim and slender body, the way her crop top fits her body and her exposed naval and arms, including her beautiful hair which has remained at shoulder length ever since losing her bun. Her beauty is so breathtaking, Luke is almost worried where his eyes might go. Amity notices the look, confusing her.
Amity: What?
Luke: Uh…
Amity looks at herself and once she realizes why Luke is staring at her, the two-turn red, profoundly embarrassed, turning their heads from each other. They're spared from more when Belos stood up and to their surprise he begins to levitate up the room. Luke and Amity move their heads up, watching as the emperor floats up the air until he's high enough, breathing ragefully under his mask as he looks down on his attackers.
Belos: You've fought well for children. But now…it's time I end this charade.
Belos dismisses his blades, worrying the children.
Luke: What the hell is he doing!?
Amity: I don't know. But I don't like where this is going.
Belos lifts up one hand, red energy engulfing it until it forms into a ball of energy. To Luke and Amity's horror, red magic converges around Belos, being absorbed by the ball and making it continuously larger. The two are forced to watch as the emperor creates a ginormous ball of energy, smaller than the supernova he used to destroy all the devils, but still lethal and powerful enough to destroy the entire Conformatorium. The orb lights up the room with sinister red energy.
Luke: Oh crap…! He's lost his mind!
Amity: HE'S INSANE! Is he actually going to blow up the entire Conformatorium! Luke, what do we do!?
Luke couldn't say anything, even he wasn't sure. Until he hears a noise coming from Rebellion. He becomes surprised upon seeing all the glyphs in his sword glowing and reacting, causing the blade to glow bright blue, as though it's telling him to make use of it. Determined and ready, Luke gave his energized sword a small swing, clutching it by his side.
Luke: Stay back Ams!
Amity: What!? Luke, no! Luke steps forth until Amity grabs his wrist. Don't do it!
Luke: Amity, let me go!
Amity: No! Are you crazy! You'll get killed!
Luke: I won't! I can stop this!
Amity: Luke, please! Amity's eyes close, welling with tears. I don't want to lose you AGAIN!
Luke calms down upon hearing this and seeing the ears leaking out of Amity's eyes. She feels her crush wipe away the tears with his thumb and opens her eyes to see him smiling kindly.
Luke: You're not gonna lose me. I've got this. Amity, I need you to trust me. Amity is hesitant. Trust me.
After a couple of tearjerking seconds, Amity relents.
Amity: Okay. She releases him with a smile. I trust you.
Luke: Thanks Ams. Now get back. This is gonna get ugly.
Luke walks forth and Amity watches as he got into his battle stance with Rebellion and Belos gathers more energy, making his orb more powerful.
Belos: Any last words boy?
Luke: Hit me with your best shot grimace!
Belos: You're actually serious. Okay. Farewell, human.
Belos tosses the orb, and it heads down for Luke surprisingly without tearing apart the room. But the human boy braces himself and held Force Edge up to guard.
Luke: Here it comes!
No one notices Luke's hair and eyes turn blue and black respectively again as the orb engulfs him and a blue flash occurs.
Another massive tremor causes everyone outisde the Conformatorium to almost fall on the ground.
Gus: WILL THIS EVER END!
Inside the Conformatorium Amity has shielded herself with her Chakarams. When she opens her eyes, she's surprised to find herself alive and well. She gasps in disbelief to see blue aura surging around where Luke is and subsides long enough to reveal her crush in his Devil Form once again.
Amity: Again…!?
With all his strength and the power of the Rebellion which surges with aura and electricity as all 6 Glyphs glow brightly, Luke has stopped Belos' orb in place, holding it back as he grits his sharp teethes with a growl. Belos is dumbfounded at this site once more as aura and electricity surrounds Luke.
Belos: WHAT!?
With a roar, Luke pushes against the orb, the Electric Glyph glowing on his chest and he blasts up, slashing through the orb. He slices out the top, high into the air as the orb dissipates and he aims a glare at the stunned Belos.
Luke: Down you go!
Luke dives to launch a fierce electrifying swing with Rebellion, prompting Belos to form a barrier to block. Luke smashes it with his new weapon, the force of which causes a resonation of blue electricity and red energy. Belos' barrier shatters and the emperor is sent crashing into the floor by a wave of electricity, hard enough to create a small dust cloud. Luke stylishly lands on the ground, Rebellion held by his side, still surging with aura and electricity. Astounded, Amity ran up next to her crush.
Luke: Nailed it!
Amity: Luke! That was amazing!
Luke: Luke turns his face. Told you I got this!
Upon seeing his face, Amity blushes at how handsome Devil Luke. The moment is disturbed when the dust cloud subsides to reveal Belos struggling to stand.
Luke: Let's blow him away with a combo move, Ams!
Amity: Just like Azure and Hecate in Volume 5!
Luke: Now you're speaking my language! Any suggestions?
Amity: Just one. You trust me?
The two share a grin, affirming their trust. As Belos got up, Amity gracefully traces a large spell circle and Luke does a couple of spins with his sword as it charges with electricity.
Amity: Luke! Now!
With a push, Amity sends the spell circle into the air where it enlarges for Luke to fly through at high-speed. He flips and dives towards Belos with his sword held up, engulfed in a combination of purple flames and blue electricity.
Luke: You're finished!
Belos forms his Ethereal Blades again and crosses them, barely blocking and holding Luke back, causing a surge of blue electricity, purple flames and red energy to light up the room. Luke pushes harder, with all his demonic power, eventually forcing Belos to his knees.
Belos: This…can't be! WHAT ARE YOU!?
Luke pushes even harder and eventually, Belos couldn't take much more. Luke overpowers the emperor, slicing through his blades and smashing the floor, engulfing his foe with an explosion of blue electricty and purple flames. Belos is blown back, barely regaining his ground, singed and wounded.
He was too late to see Luke had leapt up once again to slice Belos with his powered-up sword. With nothing else left to use, Belos summons and opens Force Edge. Both Luke and Belos launch a swing, clashing one last time and releasing a surge of power that lights and shakes the room.
Luke pushes against Belos with all his strength, forcing the emperor to his knees as his aura slowly overpowers Belos' while Luke stood on the floor, the energy surging from them causes debris to fall from the ceiling and Amity continues shielding herself with her chakrams, barely avoiding getting blown back. After a brief power struggle Luke gives a beastly roar and launches a surging swing that sends the emperor sliding back and Force Edge into air. Belos regains his footing and morphs his hand, launching it at Luke only for him to fly forth, slicing the arm apart and catching Force Edge in the process, Sparda's sword glowing bright electric blue in response to his hold. Belos morphs and launches his other arm only for a pair of chakrams to slice through it, demoprhing it and causing the emepror to reel in pain. He becomes angered upon seeing they came from Amity who caught her weapons, striking a pose with a grin.
In an instant, Devil Luke flew right in front of Belos with Rebellion and Force Edge reeled back.
Luke: Jackpot!
He thrusts both into Belos, causing him to gasp for air as he feels the two swords cut deep into his body.
Luke roars and unleashes a fiery blast of electricity that sends Belos flying and screaming across the chamber until he disappears from view.
Amity was amazed by what she had just witnessed. Luke has just defeated the emperor, the most powerful witch on the Boiling Isles.

Luke stood straight, breathing heavilty. In a burst of blue electricity he reverts back to human form. He pants a little before dropping on his rump, exhausted. Both Rebellion and Force Edge close.
Luke: Oh man…that was intense. He gives Force Edge a look. Think I'll keep this.
Amity: Luke!
Amity ran over with Luke's goggles after dismissing her chakrams, dropping down next to her crush and holding him.
Amity: Are you alright?
Luke: Yeah. I'm fine. Just a little tired. That took a lot out of me.
After putting both swords away, Amity offers up Luke's goggles, surprising him as he thought he lost them. His surprise is replaced with gratitude as he takes and straps them back onto his head, sharing a smile with Amity.
Luke: Thanks.
Amity laughs with joy and gives Luke a big hug, causing his entire face to turn red. The two were injured, exhausted and bruised up but they've survived against all odds. She pulls back with a big smile.
Amity: I can't believe you defeated the emepror! You were amazing, Luke!
Luke: You weren't so bad yourself, Blight. I couldn't have pulled it off without you. Thanks Ams.
They share another smile before grimly looking in the direction Belos was sent flying.
Luke: That was no man. That guy's a monster.
Amity: Yeah. Is he dead?
Luke: No, he's definitely alive. I don't think I hit a vital spot when I stabbed him. We gotta get the hell out of here and save-!
Luke is cut off when the pair hear Eda screeching in agony.
Luke & Amity: Eda!
Amity: Luke, we have to go now! Here, let me help you up!
Luke: Thanks Ams.
Amity helps Luke stand and despite his exhaustion, the two quickly ran to the platform Lilith showed them only for the Golden Guard to reappear casually sat with his legs crossed much to their horror.
Golden Guard: Hiiii.
He aims his staff and Amity is blown back, lifted into the air and engulfed in energy. She cries out in surprise, then in pain as the energy trapping her crackles with electricity.
Luke: Amity!
Belos: I must admit. Belos emerges from behind, his mask slightly more cracked and missing a horn. I'm quite surprised. I never imagined that a human, much less a child would possess such power hidden within them. A human with the power to transform into a demon…or rather a devil.
Luke: What does it take to kill you, you twisted bastard!?
Belos: I'm afraid it will take more than blood loss to kill me boy. The Golden Guard walks around Luke to join his uncle. Now, under normal circumstances I would destroy you before you become a true threat. However, on this occasion, I do not wish to kill you. So, I will ask you again. Give me the portal door and I will let you both go. Luke gives a vehement glare and summons a Glyph Gun, aiming it Belos. You can refuse all you want. Fight me if you wish. But the longer this battle draws the less likely your mentor is to survive the petrification. And I'm sure you do not wish to add your friend's death to your conscience.
Belos snaps his fingers, and the Golden Guard intensifies the energy engulfing Amity, causing her to cry out in pain and agony, feeling it tear her apart like before. Luke reaches out in horror.
Luke: Amity!
Belos: The door. Or your beloved…and mentor. It's your choice.
Eda distantly screeches and Luke looks up in horror.
Luke: Eda!
Luke then looks to Amity, seeing the pure fear on her face.
Luke: Amity…
Amity: Luke, don't do it! Find another way! You can beat him!
The Golden Guard intensifies the energy and electrocutes Amity, causing her to scream louder and writhe in agony as she gets burned alive with more tears appearing in her leggings and crop top.
Luke: NO!
Golden Guard: SILENCE! Don't give him any encouragement.
Belos: Tick-tock human. The Owl Lady and your beloved don't have much time. Their fate is in your hand. Give me the portal door and I shall release your friend and allow you to save your mentor's life. If not…then you'll have this in your concscience.
With a tiny spell circle, Belos further intensifies the energy, causing Amity to scream louder than ever much to Luke's horror as Belos and the Golden Guard's magic tortures her.
Luke wants to say 'no' but all he could hear over his sense of reason were the agonised screams of Eda and Amity. Both their screams cause him to cry. He drops to his knees and tries to block it out by pulling up his hood but that does nothing he clutches it in mental agony. When they become too loud, he breaks.
Luke: ALRIGHT! STOP!
Belos' spell circle disappears, and the Golden Guard stops and the grip on Amity is loosened, she falls unconscious again. Luke lifts his face to reveal his tears.
Luke: FINE! I'll give you the damn portal door! Just let Amity go and let me save Eda!
Belos nods in agreement, then shares one with his nephew who returns it. Luke reaches under his coat and activates the portal door, keeping the key out of sight of Belos and the Golden Guard, both having looked away from him for a moment. The portal door emerges, and he clutches it in guilt.
Luke: Lo siento, Mamá.
Luke stood up, reluctantly walking up to Belos and holds out the door.
Luke: Here. Take your stupid door.
Belos: The Titan will be pleased.
Belos takes the door. Luke's hand lingers on it, not dropping until a few seconds after it's completely out of his grasp. Belos and the Golden Guard share a nod. The scout leans his staff forward and sends Luke to Amity, the human catching his crush, holding her in bridal manner as he tries to wake her.
Luke: Amity!
Amity was covered in more bruises and burns, her outfit slightly torn more than before. Despite that, she squints her eyes open much to Luke's relief.
Luke: You're okay.
Amity: Luke… Tears leave her face. The door…I'm so sorry.
Luke: It's okay, you're safe. That's all that matters. Let's go.
Luke finally steps onto the platform that Lilith had brought him to, pulling his hood up.
Belos: Go on then. With a finger snap the platform rises. Go be a hero.
Luke: Don't pat yourself on the back reindeer-freak. I may have lost, but so have you.
Luke turns around and held out a hand, summoning Eda's Owl Staff. He lifted it up with a slight grin.
Luke: Joke's on you.
Devil May Cry 5 – Devil Trigger (Shortened Version)
He taps it against the platform. Owlbert's eyes glow and it's at that moment Belos notices Fire Glyphs attached to the portal and they all ignite, causing the door to the Human Realm to EXPLODE! Belos and the Golden Guard back away from the flaming eye, the only substantial part of the door that remains.
Amity gasps in shock at what Luke just did and gives her a love interest a look of disbelief.
Amity: Luke…
Golden Guard: NO! THE DOOR! The Golden Guard proceeds to go after them. You piece of-!
Belos grabs his shoulder, shaking his head. Though confused, the Guard does what he's told and backs down. Belos glares at Luke through the smoke, who glares right back as the platform carries him out of the chamber and he carries Amity.
Meanwhile, Eda's legs begin turning to stone, her petrification process beginning and spreading. The platform rise in between the cage and the petrification machine, revealing Luke holding Amity in one arm and a Glyph Gun in another, the back of his coat whipping in the wind. Luke shoots a plant bomb to the base of the machine. Vines burst out of the bomb and rock the machine to the side, stopping it. Eda screeches and falls to the ground, nearly completely stone.
King: Wh—what do we do?!
Lilith: The spell wasn't completed! Maybe I can help her fight it!
Lilith puts her hands on Eda's wing and engulfs her in light. Kikimora is furious with this development.
Kikimora: No! What is happening?
Luke grabs Kikimora by her collar, giving her a murderous glare right in the eye and shoves a gun to her face after setting Amity down.
Luke: Free them! Now! Or I'll gouge your eyeballs out and shove 'em in your mouth.
Kikimora eyes shrink in fear, and she traces a spell circle. The cage disappears, and Luke runs to Eda with Amity back in his arms.
Luke: Eda! Are you okay?
The stone recedes from Eda's body. Her eyes open.
Eda: As good as I'll ever be.
Emperor's Coven guards, holding weapons, close in on them. Luke quickly hands Amity to Lilith.
Luke: Lilith! Take care of Amity! I've got this!
Lilith takes Amity as Luke steps up, crossing his arms. He concentrates really hard and opens his eyes which have changed black again. He becomes surrounded in a surge of blue electricity much to the shock of Eda, Lilith and King.
King: Are those spell circles!?
Lilith: What's happening to him!?
Eda: Luke?
Amity: You…may have missed some things down below.
Luke spreads his arms, and they transform into demonic claws via electricity. His body undergoes a transformation. When it's complete he lifts his head to reveal his demonic face while giving a growl before spreading his large wings and releasing a beastly roar, now transformed into Devil Luke for the third time.
The entire audience gasp in a mixture of shock, disbelief and fear as they witnessed Luke's transformation, including Willow, Gus, Principal Bump and Luke's other classmates who are present
Willow: OHMYGOSH!
Gus: IS THAT LUKE!?
Bump: It can't be…he's a devil?
Viney: No way!
Jerbo: This is crazy!
Boscha: But…but…but he's just a stupid human! Humans aren't supposed to have magic! First Grom, now this!? What the heck is he!?
As Willow and Gus exchange looks of disbelief, Perry was speaking into his microphone once again.
Perry: I can't believe what I'm seeing here, folks. Our human resident, Luke the Human has become a devil!
Everyone around Bonesborough gasps in a mixture of disbelief and fear at the sight of Luke's demonic form via crystal balls.
Perry: As you all know devils were banished from the Boiling Isles after the Great War 13 years ago.
Edric and Emira who were watching via Penstagram exchange looks of bewilderment.
Perry: They were lead by the Legendary Dark Knight Sparda who lost his life in the war. Not one devil is meant to be remaining on the Boiling Isles.
Qrow stood in the ledge of the Conformatorium walls with his arms crossed, watching the entire scene unfold with a grin.
Qrow: Well, what do you know. The kid has the gift after all.
Eda, King and Lilith are stunned, and Amity gives them a sheepish look.
King: Wyeh!
Lilith: Sweet mother of Titans!
Eda: Luke…you're…you're…you're a devil…
2 scouts charge Luke and try to slice him with their swords but he catches them with both hands before tossing the scouts away and sending them screaming off the platform.
The other scouts toss their spears at Luke, but he takes flight in the air and drops down to smash his claws, sending a shockwave of electricity that sends more scouts flying.
Luke then flew around, avoiding magical blasts and ramming himself into other scouts, knocking them off the platform.
A scout unleashes blue flames, Luke counters by unleashing a beam of light from his mouth that ploughs through the flames and explodes, sending the scout flying and screaming.
More scouts charge Luke with swords, nets and spears in hand. The transformed human brought out Force Edge and Rebellion, opening both blades and giving them a spin before launching himself at the Scouts. A net is tossed but Luke slices through. He parries strikes launched by 4 scouts surrounding him with swings from his dual swords. He swung Force Edge, sending out a wave of electricity that sends 2 scouts flying and does the same with Rebellion. The scouts all charge Luke but Force Edge and Rebellion glow. He flew at high-speed, cutting right through them. Luke stops behind the scouts who all stopped in their tracks, striking a pose with his sword and when it all sinks in all their weapons are sliced to pieces. They turn and back away from Luke in fear. The transformed human turns and lunges at high-speed, releasing energy and thrusting both swords and releasing massive electricity that sends them all screaming off the stage.
With all the Coven Scouts dealt with Luke closes and puts away his weapons and flew over to his awestruck friends. Eda, Lilith and King had their mouths agape in disbelief at Luke's new form.
Luke: Everyone okay?
Eda: Whoa. Not as okay as you. Dang kiddo. I've got a lot of questions for you right now cause all of a sudden, I don't feel like that much of a freak anymore.
King: Luke, is that really you!? What happened to you!?
Lilith: You've become a demon. No, more than that! You're a devil!
Luke: It's a long story. The gang quickly see more coven scouts approaching them. One that I'd be happy to explain later! Right now, let's get the hell out of here!
Eda: Agreed!
Eda flings Lilith and King onto her back and Luke scoops up Amity, causing her to blush.
Eda: Let's fly.
Luke and Eda takes off. The coven guards take aim with their spears, but none hit them. The crowd cheers as Luke and Eda flew away.
Qrow smiles as he watches them flying off.
Qrow: Good luck out there, kid.

Kikimora glares after them, until Emperor Belos and the Golden Guard walk out, their masks still broken.
Kikimora: My liege!
The Golden Guard turns to his emperor/uncle.
Golden Guard: My lord, I will mobilise our scouts to pursue.
Belos: That will be unnecessary. With her magic stripped away the Owl Lady will no longer be a threat to me. For now, I have an announcement to make. Belos walks to the edge of the roof, and everyone listens to his announcement. Children of the Isles! The Titan has told me to spare the Owl Lady's life, but in return, her curse will strip away all her powers. Let her monstrous form be a lesson about the dangers of wild magic. And the same goes for the human and his new devil form.
Luke and Eda have flown everyone back to the Owl House, which they land in front of. Lilith and King dismount from Eda who drops down panting heavily while Luke lets down Amity gently.
Amity steps back when a shroud of electricity and blue light engulfs Luke, and he reverts back to his old self. He pants heavily over the experience before dropping on his rear.
Amity: Luke!
King: Luke!
Amity and King run over, the former dropping down to her knees by Luke's side.
Amity: Luke, are you okay!?
Luke: I'm fine. Don't worry, just need to catch my breath after that. I'll live.
Luke blushes heavily when Amity embraces him in a hug once again. After a few seconds he returns it this time and King jumps in.
King: King demands hugs too!
The three separate and Amity and King smile proudly and excitedly at Luke.
King: Luke, that was incredible! How did you do that!? You became a devil?! How are you a devil?!
Luke: I have zero ideas. It came out of nowhere! He gasps when he looks over to Eda, dead tired. Eda!
The three of them quickly ran over to Eda and Lilith. Luke drops down to his teacher.
Luke: Eda, wake up!
Amity: She's exhausted! She needs medical attention now.
Luke: Don't worry, Eda. I'll run and get you some elixir and—
Lilith: No, Luke. No amount of elixir can heal her now. Lilith walks over to Eda and bends down to cup her face. Oh, sister. I'm so sorry, for everything. For foolishly cursing you, betraying our past, hunting you down and working for a deceitful ruler all these years. What I'm about to do is something I should've done a long time ago. She puts their foreheads together like when they were kids. With this spell declared, let the pain be shared.
A wave of magic overcame them, lifting them into the air before their gems flashed brightly. In mere moments, Eda's body returned to normal before her and Lilith descended back to the ground. The Clawthorne sisters had their eyes shut before they opened them and share a gaze
Luke: Eda!
Lilith and Eda turn their heads to reveal that one of each of their eyes has turned grey, and Lilith now has a streak of grey hair while Eda has a streak of white and her gem is still black. Eda laughs as Luke and King run and hug her to which she gladly returns. Amity walks up to Lilith and they smile at the scene. Luke pulls back.
Luke: Can you still do magic?
Eda traces a spell circle only for it to disintegrate.
Eda: That's a no. It'll take some time to get used to this.
Lilith sadly clutches her hands.
Lilith: I feel that I've been weakened as well.
Luke: That's cool. I can teach you what I've learned and what we don't know, we can learn together.
Luke puts a Light Glyph in Eda's hand. Eda activates it, looking shocked that it worked. The ball of light floats into the night sky. Eda ruffles Luke's hair before pulling him into a hug.
Eda: Thanks, kid. I look forward to that.
The 5 of them watch together as the orb rises until it gets lost among the stars.
After his promise to teach Eda and Lilith everything he's learned about Glyph magic Luke takes Amity back to Blight Manor via Owlbert. It's there they met up with Edric and
Emira who were shocked to see Luke and Amity look badly injured. The twins provide them medical treatment, especially Emira who surprises Luke by using healing magic on him and Amity.
Amity is sat down on her bed, needing the most treatment considering the torture Belos put her through and the fact she was brutally beaten down by the Golden Guard.
Luke (his coat hooked up) has some bandages wrapped around his arms and forehead. His face and right hand are covered in plasters.
Amity also has bandages wrapped around her arms, forehead and abdomen. Her face and hands covered in some plasters and most of her left arm is all wrapped in bandages by Emira.
Edric was holding a medical kit and Luke had his arms crossed.
Emira: There we go sis. Just take it easy for a couple days and your arm should be could as new.
Amity: Thanks Em.
Luke: Thanks for doing this for us you guys. We really appreciate it.
Edric: Edric places a hand on his shoulder. Don't mention it, man.
Emira: It's the least we could. The twins smile at Amity. I still can't believe you took on the Golden Guard and Emperor Belos.
Edric: Yeah. Edric ruffles her hair. Our baby sis' first crime and at a young age.
Emira: We're proud of you sis. You're becoming more and more a rebel every day.
Amity smiles, blushing a little from the compliment.
Amity: Not sure how to react to that…but thanks you guys.
Emira: Still a little miffed you lost the coat. It took me hours to work on that.
Amity: Sorry.
Emira: Edric snickers. Meh. Oh well, guess I'll just have to spend more hours making new for you. The three look to Luke. Luke, thanks for looking out for her.
Luke: Luke rubs the back of his head, blushing. It feels more like she was looking out for me.
Amity: Has Mom found out about what happened?
Edric: She got back and watched the news. And boy, has she gone paranoid.
Emira: She's afraid the emperor is going to send his entire army to this house. But don't worry, sis. If she gives you a hard time, we've got you.
Edric: By the way Luke, the thing you did at Conformatorium was sick!
Luke: You mean my Devil Trigger?
Amity: Devil Trigger?
Luke: Yeah. That's the name I'm giving my transformation. It's a reference to one of my favourite video games.
Emira: Huh. That actually fits. And yeah! Everyone in Bonesborough is talking about it. She shows a scary image of Luke in his demonic from in Penstagram. All the kids are nicknaming you, "Devil Luke."
Luke: Devil Luke? That has a pretty nice ring. I know a normal human would be repulsed by this image but that look makes me look fierce.
Emira: Well, we're gonna go turn ourselves in for the night. Get some rest mittens and you'll be feeling fine in a couple days.
Edric: The twins take their leave. Try not to have too much fun while we're gone.
The twins chuckle before leaving and closing the door. Luke and Amity are now alone.
Tales of Arise – Peaceful Moment
Luke sits next to her and there's awkward silence as they both blush, turning their heads from each other until Luke breaks the silence.
Luke: So…your arm. How's it feeling right now?
Amity: It's feeling better. Still a little sore after getting squeezed to death…and electrocuted but…don't worry. I'll live.
Luke: That's good. Luke looks down guiltily. Sorry I dragged you into all this Amity.
Amity: Amity kindly smiles at Luke. Luke, it's okay. Breaking into the Conformatorium with you was my choice. It's what I wanted to do. You don't have anything to apologise for. Besides…you saved my life, Luke. Thank you.
Luke: Don't mention it. I'm just glad you're okay. And I just want to say, you were pretty great back there, taking on the Golden Guard.
Amity: Amity blushes sheepishly. I wasn't that good back there. I did get beaten down…badly.
Luke: Yeah, but still, you stood up to the entire Emperor's coven with me. You weren't afraid to fight the Golden Guard or even assault the emperor. That kind of stuff just keeps telling me how cool you are.
Amity: Speak for yourself. You were incredible Luke. You were so brave. You faced the emperor, the most powerful witch alive and survived. You even ended up hurting him and breaking off a part of his mask. You rescued Eda from a petrification ceremony. Time and time again you've done the impossible and here you've done it again. I know I've said this before, but…you're amazing Luke.
Luke: Luke rubs the back of his head sheepishly. I wouldn't give myself THAT much credit. I mean, I doubt I could've done any of that if I hadn't gone devil.
Amity: I don't know how you turned into a devil, but you saved us Luke. You saved me. Thank you. She gives a sweeter smile. And as scary as you were, I think you looked pretty handsome as a devil.
Luke: Luke blushes. You…really think so?
Amity: Yeah. She blushes and becomes sheepish. I mean…you were already handsome and cool, but…that form you took and the way you fought…
Luke: Was I cool?
Amity: The coolest.
Luke: Well, you were pretty incredible yourself back there, Ams. It's because of you I got my confidence back and we were able to save Eda together. I couldn't have pulled any of this off without you or King. So, thanks Amity.
Amity: Don't mention. Amity looks down a little, holding her hands together as she blushes. You know… we really do make a good team, Luke.
Luke: Yeah. We do.
They both share a warm smile, gazing in each other's eyes until Amity face fell in sadness.
Amity: Are you sure you're okay?
Luke: What do you mean, Amity?
Amity: You got stabbed twice and lost a lot of blood.
Luke: Oh! That. Yeah, that was pretty painful. Getting stabbed by my own sword was definitely insult to injury. But hey, could've been worse am I right.
Amity: Luke, stop joking! I…I thought you died!
Luke: Amity it's okay, I'm fine. After I went devil, my stab wounds just disappeared. There's nothing to worry about.
Amity: Okay. I guess, that's a relief. She's still sad. And Luke…I'm so sorry…about the portal door. If I hadn't gotten caught you wouldn't have had to sacrifice it.
Luke: Don't worry about that, Amity.
Amity: But Luke…that door was your only way back home. Without it you're stuck here. Are you really okay with that?
Luke: I'm not. But I had to do it. I couldn't let Belos invade my world. And I couldn't let him kill you and Eda. Destroying the portal door was the only idea I could think of to save everyone. Amity gets sadder but Luke lifts her face up. Cheer up, it's not the end of the world for me. I mean sure, the portal door is destroyed and I'm pretty much stranded here, unable to see my mom possibly forever. Luke saddens over the last part but smiles again. But I'll figure something out. He brings out the portal key. I still have the portal key with me so I'm sure if I study it, I can find some way to get back home.
Amity: You think you can do it? Find a way back to the human world?
Luke: I know I can do it. I have you guys to help me out…that is…if you want to.
Amity: Amity kindly smiles and takes Luke's hand. Luke, I promise you…me, Willow and Gus, we'll do everything we can to help you find a way back to the Human Realm.
Luke: Thanks Blight. I really appreciate that. At least while I'm stuck here I've got some real good friends keeping me company, especially you.
Kingdom Hearts 2 – Kairi Theme
Luke and Amity blush after he says that. They warmly smile, gazing into each other's eyes for a bit.
Amity: Uh…I guess you'd better get back to the Owl House.
Luke: Uh…yeah, you're probably right about that. Wouldn't want Eda to worry about me too much. You rest up princess, we could both use it. It's been a long day. I'll come visit you tomorrow.
Luke grabs is coat and puts it back on. He proceeds to walk out the balcony door. He was about to summon Owlbert.
Amity: Luke, wait!
Luke stops and turns to Amity walking up to him. She stops in front of him for a bit before surprising him with a hug, embracing him as tight as possible. Luke returns her hug with a smile and they share a romantic embrace under the moon.
Amity: Thank you, Luke...for saving me. For everything.
Luke: I think I'm the one who should be thanking you.
They pull back sharing a warm smile and Luke couldn't help but stroke Amity's hair.
Luke: You know, I…never really noticed how pretty you looked with your hair down.
Amity: Amity turns a little red, feeling her hair. Oh! Thank you. That's…that's sweet. She holds his arms again. Be careful out there. And don't do anything stupid, Gogglehead.
Luke: Hey, I'm not making any promise…Mittens.
Luke said that with a sly wink, causing Amity to blush but also smile, not minding her love interest calling her by that nickname.
Luke pulls his hand back, sliding it along Amity's before jumping on the ledge. He gives Amity a wink and two-fingered salute before summoning Owlbert and flying off. Amity smiles, blushing as she watches her crush disappear from view.
Amity: Luke…I wonder if you'll ever realize the feelings I have for you.

We go back to Luke's room in the Owl House.
Luke: And that's how we escaped from the emperor.
Luke's in his room laying on his stomach in his sleeping bag wearing his pyjamas, speaking into his phone and King is asleep at his feet as the human boy records himself speaking. His battle outfit, coat and goggles are all put away and Rebellion and his Glyph Guns lay against a wall.
Luke: Everyone kept telling me he was the most powerful witch alive. But look at this, Mom. He holds up the broken horn of Belos's mask. I broke some of his mask. I'm keeping this horn as my trophy! He may be powerful, but he's not invincible. I know that for sure now. And next time he comes after us, he'd better watch out, because I'm ready to go Devil Trigger on him. I don't know how it happened, but I intend to figure it out. Ooh! And bonus, I stole his sword. Well, technically I stole it back since it originally belonged to a friend of Eda's. I've given it to her for safe keeping. I mean, it's pretty cool but nothing can compare to my Rebellion. Plus…Eda was really happy when I gave her Force Edge. Probably because it reminds her of Sparda. His expression falls. Everything's gonna change now. Eda's lost her magic, her sister who tried to kill me is living with us, I can turn into devil and have probably scared a lot of people in Bonesborough and the portal door is destroyed so I'm pretty much stranded in the Demon Realm. It's a strange feeling, having all these crazy adventures and not being able to share it with you. I don't know when or how I'm gonna see you again. He puts his phone down and looks at a picture of him and Camila, then at the ball of light hovering in front of him. But I'll find my way home to you, Mom. I promise. Deja una luz puesta para mí. Luke pokes the ball of light, putting it out before going to bed. Several balls of light hovering outside of her window float away when it goes dark. Luke doesn't know what's coming tomorrow but as long as he never gives up and has his friends with him, he knows he'll get through this and return home someday.
At the Emperor's Castle, Belos is stood in his throne room, his mask repaired. Kikimora walks down some stairs.
Kikimora: Sire, those miscreants are still at large. Please, allow me to capture them.
Belos: Worry not, Kiki. We'll be keeping an eye on the inhabitants of the Owl House.
Belos nods to the Golden Guard (his mask also repaired) and he nods back, taking his leave.
Belos: In the meantime, the Day of Unity is almost upon us...
Belos turns. A round white frame with wings attached to it is being built by scouts. Inside the frame is the portal door, still broken, but being pieced back together.
Belos: ...And we have much work to do.
Even though Luke and his friends have escaped Belos, the emperor isn't beaten. He has plans. Big plans involving this Day of Unity and the Human Realm. And it's only a matter of time before it all comes to fruition. He walks in front of the steps, staring at the door as Kikimora leaves the room. He thinks about Luke and the power he displayed when they fought. He thinks about him and Sparda, their resemblance, especially when they change into their Devil Form. This was confirming a lot of the emperor's suspicions.
Belos: Luke the Human. You are a fascinating specimen. You are definitely no ordinary human. And after our encounter, I can see why. It all makes sense now. I'm looking forward to our next meeting…Luke Noceda. Or perhaps I should say…I'm looking forward to our first meeting…Son of Sparda.

Luke? The Son of Sparda!? What could Belos possibly mean by that? And what does he mean by "first meeting"? They've already met. These events have just raised A LOT of questions for our heroes.
But for now…Eda's been saved thanks to efforts of Luke, King, Amity, Lilith and to some extent, Qrow. And with Lilith selfless act, the curse has now been split between the Clawthorne Sisters. They may have lost their magic but at least the curse is manageable now. And as a bonus, Luke has unlocked a new power: Devil Trigger. Unfortunately, Luke's selfless act has resulted in him being stranded in the Demon Realm. Can he find a way back to the Human Realm? The answer to that and the mysteries behind Luke's powers are soon to come. For now, this segment of Luke's adventure comes to a tense close.
