We're back at it again with the second part of this arc, and it will be the most tense part of this arc, and the story as a whole, as Molly will finally confront Pyros after months of waiting. But will she defeat him?
Also, I want to point out that I will not be answering reviews at the end of this chapter. Why? Well, you'll have to read until the end to see why. But with that out of the way, let's get things started.

Chapter 29: The Final Battle: Fire vs Ice (Part 2)
The war was just getting started. There was death, destruction, giant kaiju fights that lasted shorter than they should have, and more. But all of this was to save the world from a fiery fate. While the guppies and the others were fighting their way to the main base, we'll focus on something going on back at home base, in BlizzardTucky.
Mia was sitting on a couch in the home of Lady Snowa and Glacia. Molly and Mason told her to stay here because it was way too dangerous for her. But fortunately, she had Bubble Puppy to keep her company, who was sniffing around, as if he smelled something.
"I hope Big Sis and Big Bro are okay, I don't want to leave them there," Mia said, still upset at them for telling her to stay behind. She didn't want to come back without a sister and/or brother. Bubble Puppy was still sniffing around the place, when the dog began barking at the couch.
"What is it boy?" Mia asked the pup. She got down and looked under the couch, and noticed something was there.
"What is this thing?" Mia picked up a necklace with a bright ruby triangle at the center. "It looks pretty," she said, admiring it.
"What did you find, Mia?" Lady Snowa asked the young guppy, surprising her.
"Ms Snowa! Bubble Puppy found this," Mia told her, handing the necklace over to Lady Snowa. She examined the jewelry, and gasped in shock.
"Oh my…," Snowa said in a nervous tone.
"What's wrong? Is it bad?" Mia asked the adult.
"This is bad…how could she forget this?" Snowa said to herself. Mia started to get scared.
"What's going on Ms Snowa? You're scaring me…," Mia said.
"This necklace belongs to your sister. She must've forgotten it. We have to get this to her immediately," Lady Snowa urged.
"W-Why? Does Big Sis need it?"
"Yes, this necklace allows her for a greater use of her powers, and possibly achieve something thought impossible since long ago. I fear that she could die if she doesn't have this," Snowa explained.
"What?! I'm not letting my sister die!" Mia said, grabbing the necklace out of Lady Snowa's hands and running out the door.
"Mia no! It's too dangerous!" Snowa shouted at her. Bubble Puppy barked to try and stop her, but she kept going.
"She's just like her," Snowa sighed. "Come puppy, let us follow her," she said to Bubble Puppy, who barked in acknowledgement. The two made off to catch up with the young guppy as they swam towards the mountain and the battle.
Meanwhile, we return to our main protagonists, who made their way into Pyro's castle. It was eerie and chilling inside, with fire everywhere they looked. The place actually looked high quality for a tyrant like Pyros. The main throne room was just a few rooms down, so they didn't have far to go.
"You know, for an evil tyrant, Pyros sure does know how to decorate the place," Deema complimented the interior design.
"Yes, our father does like to make his homes well designed, even if they're a bit corny," Alana said with some berate.
"Focus guys! We're almost there, we just have to get through these last few hallways," Molly said. Just as they were about to pass through, two figures stopped them.
"If it isn't the kitty cat herself," a familiar voice said.
"Oh brother," Molly said, annoyed as she realized who it was. It was Frieda and Eliza, two of the people Molly faced in the temples.
"You'll all die before you reach Lord Pyros, especially you two traitors!" Eliza exclaimed.
"Are we really traitors if we never even worked for him in the first place? Sounds like someone's upset," Alana mocked them back. Eliza growled in rage.
"Hey, how's that tail treating you, pigtails? Want me to make another hole?" Eliza said to Oona in a cold tone. Oona whimpered in fear, but someone spoke back.
"Hey! Lay off her, sizzlefreak!" Deema shouted at Eliza.
"Sizzlefreak?! You better watch your mouth, blondy!" Eliza shouted back.
"Hothead!"
"Dandelion!"
"Hotspur!"
"Cinnamon Bun!"
"CINNAMON BUN?!" Deema was ticked off now, but Goby grabbed her before she could move.
"Easy Deema, you're gonna die if you go now," Goby told the blonde guppy. "We'll deal with them, you guys move on."
"Are you sure you two can handle this? I don't want to leave you both in danger," Molly asked them.
"Molls, if I survived a sting that was supposed to kill me, I'm pretty sure we can handle this. You guys focus on your priorities," Deema assured her.
"Alright, I'll leave you two a chance to attack," Molly said. She summoned a mist that covered the entire area, lowering vision.
"Now's your chance to hide and ambush them!" Molly whispered. The two nodded and got into hiding places.
"Everyone else, be quiet and let's move on," the rest of the group snuck out of the room without being noticed. Soon, the mist disappeared, leaving the two villains confused.
"Hey, where'd they go?"
"Over here, crazy flame!" Deema shouted as she jumped on Eliza's back in an attempt to make her fall down. Meanwhile, Goby shot projectiles at Frieda to distract him, beginning their battle.
The others on the other hand were making their way through more hallways as they did before, but they were nearing the throne room.
"How big is the place? And how many hallways does Pyros have?" Gil said, partially annoyed.
"Our dad did like to show off a lot," Cryo said.
"The throne room is just through this last door. Once we get through, we should find Pyros there," Alana said. However, just as they were about to make it through, Stylee, still a cyborg, ambushed them, hitting Molly hard, knocking her back and minorly injuring her arm.
"Molly!"
"Oww, that hurt," Molly groaned, in pain from the hit.
"Who's that?" Cryo wondered, having never met Stylee before.
"That's Stylee, a famous pop star and a close friend," Molly explained.
"You okay Molly?" Gil asked the pink-haired girl.
"Yeah, I'm fine, but judging by that hit, I don't think I can beat her. And my arm still hurts, so I'm not at full strength," Molly said, shocking everyone.
"Your time is up, Princess Molly. Surrender now or die," Stylee said.
"Now what do we do?" Gil said. Things were getting dire, as Molly has admitted that she can't take on Cyborg Stylee in this state. It seemed things were about to end for the guppies, but one came up and stood up.
"I'll handle this," They looked to see that it was Oona who said it.
"Oona?"
"I'll deal with her so you guys can get to Pyros," Oona said to the others.
"You seem a lot braver than usual, Oona," Gil said, confused by the girl's tone.
"Yeah, why are you standing up when you-" Molly was interrupted by Oona speaking.
"Because you were right Molly. I was a coward, and I didn't want to fight. But after considering it, you were right. This is my true calling. I'm not scared anymore. I'm not scared of fighting, and I need to do this, not just for me, but for you guys," Oona explained as she pulled out her katana. "I'll fight Stylee, you guys continue on."
"But are you sure you can beat her?" Molly asked her.
"Hey, you said it yourself that I can beat you. And to be honest, I loved fighting, and it's time I use those skills to save the people close to me," Oona said with a smile on her face, something Molly or anyone had never seen on her face before.
"Okay, if you say so, just don't die," Molly said.
"Same to you," Oona said back. The two smirked at each other.
"Don't think you can escape me!" Cyborg Stylee shouted, rushing towards Molly again, but to everyone's surprise, Oona blocked the hit with her hand, which had a special glove on them. She then punched Stylee with an uppercut that sent the cyborg back towards the wall. Everyone was left in shock and awe.
"Get going! NOW!" Oona shouted.
"R-Right! Cmon guys!" Molly ordered. The others escaped the onslaught through the last door, leaving Oona and Cyborg Stylee alone.
"Leaving your friends to die alone? Pathetic," Stylee taunted Oona, but the guppy girl remained unfazed.
"I just didn't want to show off to them too much," Oona said with a confident smile. She then pulled out her katana, holding it up like a samurai.
"Ha ga anata no unmei o kimemashou," Oona said in Japanese, entering a fighting stance. The two locked eyes before charging at each other, landing punches on their faces. The two seemed evenly matched, at first. The Cyborg tried to hit Oona, but she was dodging almost every hit she threw at her, and responding with powerful hits and sword slashes, showing her skill in martial arts.
"Can't hit me, can you? Keep trying!" Oona taunted the cyborg, landing an uppercut tail smack, which hit much harder due to her metal tail. Cyborg Stylee was sent flying back, crashing into the wall.
"T-This canzzzt beessh!" Cyborg Stylee was astonished by Oona's hits, but caught her off guard to land a hard punch to her face, sending the guppy girl into a wall. Oona slowly got up, but smiled, even wiping blood from her mouth. She even spit a tooth out.
"Thanks, saved me a baby tooth pulling," Oona said in a menacing tone before reengaging in combat.
We come back to the remaining group members, who finally reached the throne room of Pyro's castle. There was fire everywhere, four thrones, and banners of Pyros, Cryo, Alana, and a woman they didn't recognize. In one of the walls, there was a giant hole that led to an open, snowy field, but they couldn't find Pyros anywhere.
"Wait, where is he? I thought he'd be here," Molly was confused. She thought Pyros would be here, and was surprised he wasn't here.
"Maybe he got scared and ran away!" Gil said.
"Not likely, he'd never run away," Alana said. "He's most likely hiding somewhere, waiting for a moment to come out. Unfortunately, I don't know where he is."
"On the bright side, the prison cells are right below us, so we can save everyone first!" Cryo told everyone.
"That's great! Now how do we get down there?" Molly asked.
"Allow me. You all better stand back," Alana stepped in. She set her fist ablaze and punched a huge hole in the floor.
"Shall we all descend?" Glacia said.
They all jumped down the hole, which wasn't that deep, but led the group to the room where the prison cells were kept. Inside, they found hundreds of people locked up behind the bars, which were blocked behind barriers made of solid holograms. There were loads of people in the cells, from snails to crabs and lobsters, and even guppies too.
"I knew Pyros liked to jail others, but even I never expected this," Even Glacia was surprised at the amount trapped behind the bars.
"How do we free them?" Gil asked.
"I got this one guys," Cryo stepped in, pulling a lever that opened the cells for everyone to leave.
"Get out of here everyone! There's an exit at the end of the hallway!" Molly said to all the prisoners. As all the people headed down the aisle, and there was a lot, Gil noticed that Molly was looking around the area, as if she was looking for something or someone.
"What's wrong, Molly?" Gil asked the pink-haired girl.
"I can't find them, Gilly," Molly replied.
"Find who, Molly?" Gil asked, confused.
"My-"
"Molly?" A voice interrupted Molly, and it was one that she hadn't heard in forever. Everyone turned around to see two adult guppies with pink hair, and with blue tails similar in color to Molly's.
"Is that you, dear?" the woman said.
"Who are they?" Cryo wondered, never seeing these two before.
"M-M-Mom?! D-D-Dad?!" Molly said, shocked. That's right, it was her parents, and they didn't look that bad in damage, but were still visibly damaged.
"Is that really you sweetie?" Molly's dad said. Tears began to form in Molly's eyes as she dropped her sword, shocked to see her parents.
"MOM! DAD!" Molly shouted. She ran faster than ever to hug her parents tighter than ever. She broke down in tears, crying as she hugged them for the first time in what felt like forever.
"My baby girl! It is you!" Her mother said, happy to finally see her daughter again.
"We missed you so much Molly!" Her father told her.
"I missed you guys too! I thought you were dead and that I would never get to see you guys again!" Molly cried, explaining how she missed her parents so much. "I'm sorry that I left you! (sniff) I didn't want to leave you guys but I would've died!" She explained to them.
"Sweetie, that doesn't matter to us. We're just glad you're okay and that you're alive," Her father told her.
"Oh, hello Gil! Good to see you here as well," Her mother said to Gil.
"Hey Mr. and Mrs. Gentilella! Sorry we took so long to get here, it's been a wild ride," Gil said, chuckling nervously.
"Have you and your friends looked after Molly?" Molly's dad asked him.
"Daddy!" Molly shouted at him, angrily. The three laughed.
"Don't worry, we have, and we've had some..'bumpy' moments to say the least," Gil explained to them. "Gilly!" Molly yelled at him, blushing in embarrassment. He chuckled.
"Well, I believe I should introduce myself as well," Glacia said, stepping in.
"Oh, right! Mom, Dad, this is Ms. Glacia! She's looked after all of us and helped mentor me while we were in BlizzardTucky, a town over the mountains!" Molly introduced her parents to Glacia.
"Thank you for taking care of our daughter, it means the world to us," Her mother thanked Glacia.
"I should be the one thanking you, Mr. and Mrs. Gentilella. Molly is one of the greatest students I've teached, as she taught me an important lesson about how we're all different. You raised a wonderful daughter," Glacia said to the two, Molly blushing. "That reminds me. Molly, why don't you show your parents your progress as Ice Princess?" She asked Molly.
"Ice…Princess?" Molly's mother said, confused.
"Molly, what is she talking about?" Her dad asked her.
"Well, I'm sort of…a special person, let me show you," Molly said. She summoned a ball of ice energy, moving around gracefully, before bursting it into a small snowfall.
"Oh my!" Her mother said, shocked and surprised at Molly's move.
"Since when was this possible?" Her dad said.
"I've always had it in me, but even I didn't know. Apparently I'm the special girl born with these powers, and I've mastered them well enough to become the next Ice Princess," Molly explained her powers.
"Yeah, and now she has to face Pyros to stop him," Gil added. Just then, her mother noticed Alana and Cryo in the back.
"Hey, I know you! You're that girl who kept visiting us! Alana, was it?" Molly's mother said, pointing to Alana.
"That's right. Good to see you're both still alive," Alana said to them.
"Wait, you know my parents?" Molly asked the older guppy, confused as to how she knows her parents.
"Yeah, I'm the one who stopped them from getting killed," Alana revealed, shocking everyone.
"WHAT?!" Everyone except Molly's parents shouted.
"Yep, Pyros was originally going to kill them, but I told him that doing so would make you come and face him early, and that he wouldn't fight you at your full power. So he spared him, because my dad's a weird person," Alana explained.
Everyone was bewildered by this. Even if she was on her side, they all didn't expect Alana to do something like this, especially Molly, who went and hugged the older guppy, tears forming.
"Thank you," Molly said joyfully.
"You're welcome kiddo," Alana said, hugging her back.
"And you must be Cryo! Your sister has said many things about you," Molly's mother said to Cryo, who blushed slightly.
"H-Hello Molly's mom and dad…," Cryo said, smiling nervously. Alana giggled.
"This is Cryo, he's been a big help for us, and he's a great friend!" Molly introduced Cryo to her parents, putting her arm around him. He blushed even more.
"Yeah! And he has fire and ice powers!" Gil added.
"Nice to meet you kiddo!" Molly's dad said, holding his hand out.
"Oh-uh…nice to meet you too…," Cryo said nervously again, shaking his hand.
"Oh yeah! Do you guys know where Pyros is?" Molly asked her parents.
"No, we don't know where he is dear. We haven't seen him in forever," Her mother replied.
"I guess we should start looking back in the throne room," Molly said, building ice pillars for everyone to walk up. They look around the room to where Pyros could've ran off to, but with no luck. Suddenly, the TV turns itself on, showing Pyros on the castle roof.
"Hello to all creatures of this land!" Pyros started speaking.
"He's on the roof, I should've guessed!" Alana said.
"I see you're all fighting wondrously to stop my world domination, and I find it very cute. And even though I could wipe you all out with ease, I'm willing to make a little deal here," Pyros said.
"Now what's he up to?" Molly wondered.
"I know that your little Ice Princess is somewhere, so here's my bargain. I will stop this invasion, if Molly Gentilella can defeat me in battle, no gimmicks, just fire versus ice," Pyros states, which surprised everyone. "If she wins, I'll surrender and call this off. But if she doesn't, well…to give you an idea…," Pyros shoots a fireball at Big Bubble City, which creates a massive explosion that shocks everyone. "So you better prepare yourself, Princess," Pyros says, smirking. He jumps down to the snowy field, and stares at Molly with a menacing smile.
Molly stares back at him angrily. She knows that she has to do this to save not just the world, but everyone she knows and loves. But not everyone is sure about this.
"Wait sweetie! You can't run into this!" Molly's mother said to her.
"Mom, I know, it's too dangerous for me. But I have to do this, or else everything will be gone in an instant. Besides, I'm the one he wants, not you guys. I've learned to appreciate the small things, and I understand how it feels, but I'll be fine, I promise. This is something I have to do, I'm sorry," Molly explained.
"Okay, I understand dear," Her mother responded.
"Hey, Molly?" Gil said. Molly looked at the blue-haired guppy. "Just..be careful, okay? Don't die, please," he told her. Molly smiled.
"I'll be fine, Gilly. Don't you worry," Molly told Gil. They shared a quick hug, knowing that everything will be okay. However, Alana and Cryo had a quick talk while no one was looking.
"Cryo, listen closely," Alana whispered to him.
"What is it, Sis?" Cryo said. She whispered something to him. Cryo nodded his head before leaving the group unnoticed. Molly took a deep breath before walking through the hole in the wall towards Pyros.
"Good to see you again Princess, how's your day going?" Pyros asked Molly.
"It's been going well, but once I beat you, it'll become even better," Molly said confidently.
"Oohoohoo! Someone's a little overconfident. You sure you want to take me on? Or are you scared that you might die?" Pyros said.
"Cut the crap, Pyros, I'm not falling for your tricks. You should've killed me the first chance you had, but you didn't, and I have to ask: Why?" Molly asked the Fire Lord.
"Because where's the fun in just killing the next Ice Princess? No, I wanted to see if you really had the guts and power to defeat me, but I also wanted to mess with you and your little friends," Pyros explained his reasoning. "Now, let's begin," Pyros threw a fireball at Molly early, but she simply swatted it away, surprising everyone. Molly gave a confident smile. Pyros sent more fireballs towards her, but the Ice Princess swatted them all away like they were nothing.
"Is that all you got? Or do you think I'm nothing?" Molly said to Pyros.
"Oh, I don't think you're nothing. I know," Pyros said coldly to her. "Now, let's actually begin," he said. And so, the final battle for the fate of everything begins. Pyros started things off with a flame wave, but Molly boosted herself over it with wind before sending a barrage of sharp icicles and energy balls at Pyros, who blocked them with his arm.
Molly used this chance to charge at Pyros and land a powered-up punch and several hits on the Fire Lord. Pyros attempted strikes on Molly, but she dodged each one and countered with more punches and tail smacks. She then landed an ice uppercut on Pyros, sending him backwards into the air. Pyros flared his fists up before firing double fire beams at Molly, who bent down to evade them. Meanwhile, the others were watching from inside.
"I didn't know our daughter could do something like this…" Molly's mom said in awe.
"Yeah, it's incredible," her mother added. Gil and Alana monitored closely, looking at every move. Gil then asked Alana a question.
"Do you think she can win?" Gil asked Alana. She was silent for a moment before responding with one word.
"No."
The two kept trading blows with each other, from punches to kicks to elemental attacks, they seemed evenly matched. Molly used ice pillars to jump close to Pyros as he tried to snipe her. She used her tail to create a wave of ice energy, breaking through his attacks. Pyros narrowly avoided the attack, but not before Molly tail smacked him in the face, knocking him back. He was starting to get slightly angry, so he fired a powerful flame at her. Molly stood there, and pulled out her sword just as it was about to hit her. To Pyro's surprise, Molly had the sword Zooli gave her to absorb the attacks.
"So your friend gave you the sword given to her. I must say, I'm impressed you brought that," Pyros said to her.
"Hey, we both know one of us was going to do it, but let's cool things down a notch," Molly said with a smirk. She switched the sword's mode to Ice, and fired ice beams from the tip. Pyros swatted them away before sending pillars of fire at Molly, but she slashed right through them with her sword before running towards Pyros.
"What the-" Pyros said before dodging sword slashes from Molly. He blew her back with a pulse of fire energy, then started firing beams of fire at her.
"Time to put these gymnastic skills to good use," Molly said to herself. She elegantly jumped over and ducked under each beam, and even summoned bars to swing over, like she was doing gymnastics. Pyros did a double flame blast, but Molly did a big swing that sent her spinning in the air, before crashing down with her sword in the ground, which caused a large amount of energy to erupt under Pyros. He tried to block it, but it was too much, which sent him in the air. Molly sent herself in the air with an ice pillar launch, and did a powered-up sword slash on Pyros, which sent him crashing in the ground. When he landed, Molly attacked him with a barrage of sword slashes and punches, before knocking him to the wall with one final punch.
"H-Had enough yet?" Molly said to him, trying to catch her breath. She was starting to get tired, but to everyone's surprise, Pyros got up and started cracking his neck like it was nothing.
"I'll admit, that was pretty good, Princess. You actually did some damage to me," Pyros said. Molly was shocked. She thought she did a ton of damage to Pyros, but he's acting like he barely took any damage at all.
"H-How?! I thought I-..B-But"
"It's called acting, Princess. Like I said, I know you are nothing, and that you can't beat me. You're still leagues away from beating me, and it looks like you're getting tired, so to show what real power looks like, I'll get serious," Pyros taunted her.
"I'll show you serious!" Molly shouted, rushing for a sword slash, but Pyros simply chopped right through the sword, breaking it in half, leaving her shocked.
"Go, hit me, Princess," Pyros taunted her. Molly stared at her broken sword, shocked and full of fear. "Too little, too late," Pyros said to himself. He then punched Molly hard in the face, sending her flying back and crashing into the wall.
"Molly!" Gil shouted. He tried to rush in, but Alana stopped him.
"No! This is her fight Gil! She has to do this alone for now," Alana said.
Molly weakly got up, her body aching from the pain of the punch. She was even starting to bleed in several areas. She didn't expect Pyros to be this powerful. He was right. She was overconfident going in, and now she was scared.
"Well Princess, this has been fun, but now I'm getting bored. So let's end this now," Pyros said with a cold tone. He raised his arm up, summoning a gigantic fireball that could be seen from even over the mountain. Molly stared at the fireball in utter fear. Pyros sends the massive fireball straight at Molly, who was paralyzed by fear. She tries to push or at least hold it back, but it's too much for her.
"She's going to die! We have to help her!" Gil said.
"No! We aren't helping her!" Alana said.
"Why?! She's clearly getting overwhelmed out there!" Gil said with anger.
"Because she's going to get help from someone else," Alana told him.
Molly was using all her might she had to try and push the fireball back at Pyros, but it seems she isn't strong enough. "I can't do this! Someone please help me!" She shouted, but no response came. Molly was terrified, tears forming in her eyes. "My friends, Mia, Mason, Mom & Dad, Gilly…I let them all down," Molly said to herself. However, the fireball stopped moving, confusing everyone.
"What's going on? How has it not-" Pyros wondered, confused as to how it's not exploded yet. Molly was even more confused, but when she looked over, she saw that Cryo was beside her, pushing it too.
"C-Cryo?!" Molly said in shock.
"Shut up and push!" Cryo shouted at her.
"R-Right!" Molly said. They two pushed as hard as they could, and sent the large fireball hurtling towards Pyros, surprising him as it pushed him back far, creating a massive explosion in the distance. The two got time to catch their breaths and speak to each other.
"What are you doing Cryo? Why are you helping me?" Molly asked the boy.
"Because you clearly stand no chance against my father alone. You're going to need my help," Cryo explained to her. "Besides, you're not the only one who wants to take him down," he said, winking. Molly gave a small smile, before noticing her sword, still broken in half.
"Here, let me help you," Cryo said.
"Do you know something, Cryo?" Molly asked him.
"You take the ice side, and I'll take the fire side," Cryo told her. They both held their respective elemental side. "Now, use your energy and combine the two!" He said. They both combined their energies together and attached the sword together, creating a light that when dissipated, revealed the sword all fixed.
"W-Wow…thank you Cryo," Molly thanked him.
"No problem, but now we have bigger problems," Cryo said as Pyros returned.
"So you finally decide to face me, son," Pyros confronted Cryo. "You sure you don't want to run back scared to your sister like before?"
"I'm not the same kid you once knew, Father. I know my destiny: To help Molly, the Ice Princess defeat you once and for all!" Cryo said back to his dad.
"This is mine and her fight, son. Leave now or die," Pyros commanded him.
"Sorry Pyros, but now you're facing the two of us!" Molly told him, readying a battle stance along with Cryo.
"Then I'll kill you both and shove your heads on my wall as trophies!" Pyros shouted, letting out a powering scream. Molly and Cryo looked at each other, smirking and nodding at each other. This battle has taken a drastic turn, with Molly and Cryo taking on Pyros together.
Pyros starts with a barrage of fireballs, but uses them to fire them at Molly's sword, which absorbs them, and switches to ice mode. Pyros rushes at the two, but they dodge his attacks. Molly sends a burst of wind at Pyros, pushing him towards Cryo, who launches him and Pyros up with an ice pillar before slamming him back down towards Molly, who slashes him with her sword, dealing big damage and knocking him back. Pyros saw that he took actual damage, shocking him.
"Impossible! How?!" Pyros questioned how he's getting hurt.
"You're dealing with the two of us now, Pyros! Twice the guppies, twice the damage!" Molly said to him. Enraged, Pyros sent a barrage of attacks at the two guppies. Cryo grabbed onto Molly, who used her wind to send them in the air as if they were flying. Molly swung Cryo around before throwing him to the ground, and he punched it so hard that land erupted beneath Pyros. The Fire Lord attempted to jump to avoid the attack, but Molly used a large snowball to push him back to the ground and into the attack, which dealt big damage.
The two then launched a combined attack on Pyros, attacking him from different sides to stop him from hitting them. They were beginning to wear him down. Pyros tried to attack one, but the other hit back first, and vice versa. Pyros was starting to get pissed, and pushed them back with a pulse of fire energy. He fired a forward-moving pillar of fire at the two, but Molly trapped it with a tornado, and used her prior knowledge to control both elements at the same time, surprising everyone.
"W-What?! That's impossible!" Pyros said in shock at Molly using fire and ice. Glacia smiles, remembering when they did the same thing when they fought her. Molly sent the tornado back at Pyros, and when he tried to control it, he failed, and was engulfed by the flame and wind. The two grabbed each other's hands and spun each other around, creating a fire and ice spiral that circled around them. The energy went into their fists, and they charged at Pyros, still stuck in the tornado, and landed a heavy punch, dealing massive damage and making him even cough up blood, sending him flying into the brick wall, which collapsed on top of him.
"Wow, they really are amazing, even I'm in shocked," Alana said.
"You got this guys!" Gil shouted at them.
"That was some nice skills Cryo, I didn't think you had it in you," Molly complimented him. Cryo blushed slightly.
"Th-Thanks Molly, I learned them from watching you," He said.
"Well, they were pretty good I must say," Molly told him with a smirk, making Cryo blush even more. Pyros then emerged from the rubble. He was looking worse than before, bloody, damaged, and even his clothes damaged. He was looking very pissed off.
"What happened to that calm demeanor Pyros? You don't look so good. Could it be (gasp) you've been beaten?" Molly taunted Pyros.
"ENOUGH!" Pyros yelled. He sent a powerful flame wave that they couldn't block, knocking them back and damaging them.
"I will kill you!" Pyros shouted in anger.
"I'm out of ideas. You got any, Molly?" Cryo asked the Ice Princess. Molly looked around for a way to distract him, but she couldn't find anything useful. That is, until she spotted the mountain behind them, and got an idea.
"I got an idea, but it's risky," Molly said.
"Well what is it?" Cryo asked her.
"You'll see, but I need you to listen to me. When I say "now", you need to cover your ears," Molly told him, pulling out her microphone, confusing everyone, except for one person.
"What's she going to do with that thing? Is she nuts?" Alana said in confusion.
"I know what she's up to. Everyone cover your ears!" Gil told everyone inside.
"HAHHA! What are you going to do with that? Sing me a song until I die of boredom?" Pyros laughed at Molly, but she was unfazed. She turned the volume up and asked him a question.
"Hey Pyros! Say "Spring is here"!" Molly shouted at him. "(Now!) she said quietly to Cryo, who covered his ears.
"Why would I say "Spring is here"?" Pyros said, confused. Molly smirked.
"HEY HEY HEYY!" Molly screamed at the top of her lungs into the microphone at full volume, creating a loud noise that put everyone who heard it into pain.
"ARRRHGH!" Pyros screamed in pain as he covered his ears.
Molly finished yelling into her microphone, coughing as she recovered. Cryo went to help her.
"Molly!" Cryo said, rushing to her aid.
"So what was your plan there, Princess? To make me deaf?" Pyros said.
"Not quite," Molly confidently said. Suddenly, the ground started to shake as a large rumbling was heard by everyone. The sound of things moving filled the air.
"What's your plan Molly? What's going on?" Cryo asked her.
"Take a look," Molly said, pointing behind her. Everyone looked up behind her, and saw what was happening. It was a large avalanche from Mt. Danger. That's right, her plan was to summon an avalanche, and what better way to do so than with your singing lungs. Everyone was in complete shock, while Pyros was fearing for his life. In a twist, Molly managed to take control of all the snow on the avalanche. She then threw it all on top of Pyros, who had no way of blocking it, and the snow slammed on top of him, covering him, Molly and Cryo, and most of the area. The group inside managed to avoid the snow by hiding against the walls.
When the air cleared, they all looked out to see the area was completely covered in snow, but there was no sign of any of them. Just when things seemed over, Molly and Cryo popped out of the snow, catching their breath as they climbed out.
"They're okay!"
Molly and Cryo laughed as they finished escaping the snow.
"That was awesome Molly!" Cryo said to her.
"I know right? I didn't think I could sing loud enough, but it worked!" Molly said. Just then, Pyros appeared out of the snow, stuck in it, lacking any energy left. The two guppies stared at the Fire Lord, until Molly walked over to him, looking at him dead in his eyes.
"Uh Molly, what are you doing?" Cryo asked the pink-haired girl.
"Something that should've been done a long time ago," She said in a cold tone. She pulled out her sword, ready to kill Pyros. However, someone stopped her. Cryo grabbed her hand, preventing her from finishing him.
"No you can't!" Cryo stopped her.
"What are you doing Cryo? You want him to live?" Molly asked the blue and red-haired boy. Cryo took a breath.
"Yes, I do," he told her.
"Are you crazy?! Why?!"
"Because, while I hate him more than you, he's still my dad! I don't want to see him die," Cryo told her. "Sure he's done some evil things, but he's still my father!"
"You don't understand Cryo! The things he's done, the pain he's inflicted on others, he can't be deserves death," Molly tells him.
"Please, he's my only parental figure I have left, I don't want to lose another. Please Molly, think about how this'll affect me and my sister. Sure she looks like she doesn't care about him, but I know she still has some care for him, because he's our father. You would do the same if you were in my position, right?" Cryo explained to Molly.
Molly thought about those words. If she does kill Pyros, it might hurt her relationship with Cryo, and maybe even Alana, and she doesn't want to ruin it again.
"(sigh) You're right Cryo, I'm sorry. There I go again, thinking about myself instead of others," Molly apologized, dropping her sword.
"Hey, who do you think I learned these lessons from?" Cryo told her. Molly smiled at him.
"Hey, Cryo? There's something I need to tell you," Molly said.
"Hm?"
"I-" Before she could mutter anything, Molly felt a sharp and hot pain pierce her chest. Cryo was confused, but when he looked down, his expression changed from confusion to horror. Molly slowly looked down to see an energy sword stabbed right through her chest by Pyros, who still had some strength left.
"Never turn your back on an opponent…," Pyros said, breathing heavily. He pushed the sword deeper within Molly, causing her even more pain as she even coughed up blood.
"MOLLY!" Gil shouted.
Cryo looked in horror and fear at this sight. He didn't know what to do or say. Pyros pulled the sword out of her fast as she tried to stand, barely having the energy.
"C-C-Cryo…" Molly quietly said to Cryo, who has tears in his eyes forming.
"I….(cough)(cough)," Molly coughed up more blood, her vision beginning to fade.
"Molly…" Cryo said.
"I….f-forgive y-you." Molly weakly finished before collapsing to the snowy floor, dead.
… … … …
See you all in the finale.
Post-Chapter
We come back to the battlefield, where Mason is still fighting the rest of Pyro's army with the Resistance. They were winning, dwindling the enemy's numbers down. Just then, he heard barking, as Mia, Lady Snowa, and Bubble Puppy arrived.
"Big Bro!" Mia said as she approached her older brother.
"Mia? What are you doing here? I told you to stay behind because it's dangerous!" Mason told her.
"Sis is in danger though! We have to help her!" Mia told Mason.
"What do you mean? She can handle herself," Mason assured her.
"I'm afraid your sister is correct. Molly needs our help. She needs this necklace immediately," Lady Snowa said.
"What for? It's just a random necklace," Mason was confused.
"This necklace gives Molly not only a boost in her physical capabilities, but also boosts her powers as well," Lady Snowa explained. "I have also heard stories that it could even help achieve a form not seen for hundreds of years. If she doesn't get this, I fear she could die."
"Well when you mention that, hell yeah we have to help her! Let's go!" Mason told everyone. As they approached the entrance, they noticed Nonny and Zooli.
"Nonny! Zooli! Everything okay?" He asked the two guppies.
"I'm okay, but Zooli's arm is injured. She needs help," Nonny explained about what happened.
"I'm fine guys, I can still-OW!" Zooli said in pain.
"Here, let me help you," Lady Snowa said. She began wrapping Zooli's arm in a bandage-like wrap. This gave the others some time to talk.
"So you guys heard that loud noise right?" Mason asked the others.
"Yeah, and it sounded like Molly," Zooli said.
"We have to give this to her! Or else my big Sis could die!" Mia said to the others.
"What?!"
"All done," Lady Snowa finished Zooli's cast for her arm.
"Let's go then, she could be in danger," Mason said.
They all rushed into the castle to reach Molly, unaware of both the other battles happening, as well as their friends demise.
