Okay, I am absolutely in love with Hazbin Hotel uh… I'm trying to collab with one of my friends on the matter because honestly, I never loved a girl more than Charlie… not in that way, okay! I don't have 50K to spend.
Maybe I'll write a full series with more chapters, maybe I won't, but I probably won't.
If you guys see me use (...), it is meant to be a cut going back and forth in time. And a heads up, this is… gonna be a chapter where I started to struggle a bit.
(Hell, I.M.P.)
"Okay everyone, after that whole… shitshow, I think it should be known that wherever the fuck we just went, we are not gonna go there again." Blitzo exclaims as he shows a poorly drawn version of the Pokemon they saw on the whiteboard with a giant X over them. "Seriously, never again."
"Aw, I kinda liked that place." Millie says.
"Yeah, well you weren't the one who got their ass beat by a giant fucking rat and stabbed by a satan damn fish! I really hope we don't get a client from that place." He says before something bumps into the table. Sandshrew climbs on top of it and starts rolling around on it. "You actually kept that thing?"
"Well, uh…" Moxxie says as the Pokemon rolls into Loona's leg before she shoves it away, face practically glued to her phone. "I mean… he didn't want to leave so… plus he's not causing problems." He says before Sandshrew rolls into his arms and snuggles against him.
"Whatever, as long as it doesn't fuck up our work, I don't care."
Loona only rolled her eyes and stopped listening to the meeting altogether. She was too busy scrolling through Sinstagram to care before she found the posts that Octavia had made when she was in the Pokemon World. It was crazy how much she could post from just that one day and how quickly they blew up.
She chuckled a bit when looking at them, although, her smirk faded when she thought back to the young princess and exhaled through her nose. She wondered just what was going on in her home right now.
(Timeskip to a couple of days later, Goetia Mansion)
Stolas was walking through the dark corridor of the night, the only light being from the windows. The only sound echoing in his ears was the clicking of his talons. It had not been long since his visit to the Pokemon World to search for his daughter and it was impossible to forget.
On one hand, he was more interested in learning about Pokemon, their nature, and the world they came from. On the other hand, though, he was already going through a lot as is. The incident between him and Blitzo, the demand for a divorce from his wife after it, and now Octavia had practically tried to run away from him.
The last one is what he was the most focused on. All the problems he had dealt with caused him to neglect spending a special day with his daughter, who was looking forward greatly to this supposedly once-in-a-lifetime event. She said she forgave him, but he didn't feel he had done enough to earn her forgiveness.
He stopped at his daughter's room, right at the door. He slowly opened it to not wake her and took a peek inside. His eyes widened as he found the bed empty with the sheets left hanging. Fear overtook him and he hastily opened the door and stepped fully inside, only to stop when he looked at the balcony and sighed in relief.
Octavia was kneeling with her arms on the railing, looking up into the sky. She didn't look happy. He could see the look in her eyes, starting to feel… sad the longer he watched. He slowly walked over to her, stopping just as he stepped out.
"Hi, dad." She says.
"Hello, dear." Stolas says before taking a moment to gather his words. "Are you having trouble sleeping?"
"No, dad, I just… I'm just thinking is all."
"I see. Is it… okay if I ask what you're thinking of."
"No… yes… I…" Octavia sighed. "I… I don't really know… how to explain it."
He only nodded and walked up to her, standing next to her as he looked up at the sky with her.
"If it's about Azathoth's tears-"
"Dad, it's not that, it's just…"
With that possibility ruled out, he could only think about another thing.
"It's that boy isn't it?"
She turned in his direction. "... I… m-maybe."
"I see."
He started to think to himself. After all that happened, he did not doubt that she would eventually get pulled into one of these horrid problems of his own. He didn't want that, but he knew there was little he could do… apart from one thing.

Delia was getting back from a grocery run, humming happily to herself before she suddenly heard a knocking at the door. She was curious about what it was this time as she set the bags down before walking over to the door.
"Goodness, we haven't had this many visits before." She says before opening the door, seeing a familiar face. "Stolas? You're back again?"
"Yes, I… hope you don't mind." Stolas says, looking saddened.
"Are you sure you don't live close by or anything? Not to sound rude, but it wasn't that long since you Octavia visited."
"It's no trouble, but, there is a… bigger reason I decided to visit."
"What is it?"
Stolas sighed, taking one more glance at her before closing his eyes. Then flames spiraled around him as the woman stepped back, watching him change into his true form. He looked down, seeing her look shocked by what she was looking at, not knowing what to say.
"May I speak with Ash?"
Speak of the devil.
"Ash!" Delia called as Ash on his computer.
"Yes?" He called back.
"Uh… Stolas is… here to see you."
The boy's head perked up. He looked at his door, then back at the computer screen which was information about the Alola Region. As much as he wanted to continue planning his next journey, he knew that when hearing the familiar name it had to be something important.
"Come on, Pikachu." He says while getting up as the mouse Pokemon jumps onto his shoulder.
As he started to make his way down the stairs, he stopped before he could reach the last bit. His eyes widened when he saw Stolas in his living room, having to bend down since his real form was that tall.
"W-what's…" He gulped. "What's going on?"
"I apologize that this seems… sudden. There is something I wish to talk to you about." The prince tells him.
"Ash, what… what is this all about?" Delia asked.
"We can explain everything some other time, but for now, I wish to speak with the boy alone."
"I… O-okay, I guess I'll just… be here."
Ash watched as his mother stepped out of the room. He looked back before sighing and gesturing for the prince to follow. The aforementioned prince only nodded before following him up into his room, sitting on his bed.
"I know I already said this, but I'm sorry this seems suddenly." Stolas tells him.
"It's… cool but, what is this all about?"
"Look, things are getting kinda… troublesome down in Hell for my family. It's a bunch of… complicated stuff that I don't believe you'd understand. And as much as I can handle all that stuff, I don't believe Octavia should have to get involved." Stolas says before pausing for a second. "That is way too forward. I'm sorry, let me try again-"
"No, no, you don't have to, it's all fine. You can… you can continue." The boy reassures him.
"Good. Now, I'm sure she's already told you about her life and what's been going on."
"Yes, she's told me a few stories about it. Like, how you and your wife are arguing constantly."
"Ex-wife, as of now."
"Oh… oh."
"If I may get to the point, I'm here to ask something of you." Stolas then continued. "I wish for you to take Octavia in."
"... Wait, what!?" Ash jumped when he heard what he was asked.
"I should've predicted you would say something like that." The prince says while pinching the bridge of his beak before looking up at the boy's shocked face. "Listen, I apologize again for doing this out of the blue, but I figured it's better I say it outright instead of chewing your ear off with some irrelevant nonsense."
"I… uh… this… this is kinda of a…" Ash says, having trouble forming words.
"Overwhelmed?"
"It's not just that, but… it seems like a really big ask. I wasn't… I mean, what about… I-I…"
"Don't hurt your head, please. I'm not expecting you to have an answer right away. From what I've seen and how you make my sweet girl feel, I don't think there is anyone else I could trust with such a task."
Ash put a hand on his head as he started pacing around the room. The shock had yet to wear off and he wasn't sure what he was hearing was actually happening, millions of thoughts ran through his head. Stolas seemed to understand and got up, again needing to lean down due to his height.
"If you wish, I will give you time." He says.
"... y-yeah, just… give me a moment." Ash says.
"I'll give you all the time you need. If you wish, I could also tell your mother about… well, what's been happening."
"I…" He started to say before thinking. "W-well, I… was gonna tell but… g-go ahead."
Stolas nodded before stepping out of his room. Ash then sat on his bed, still thinking. Pikachu went up to him and patted his arm in comfort, the boy pulled him into his lap and hugged him. Part of him still didn't know what to think about the whole thing, calm, but inside, freaking out.
Three times he had met Stolas, not that long after he last met Octavia, and now he was being asked to take her in like this. Sure the two of them had gotten close, but to jump to doing this, it… wasn't something he had come to expect.
What would he do now?
(...)
"WHAT!?" Octavia screamed upon hearing what her father had just told her.
"Octavia, I know that-" Stolas started to say.
"But why!? Why would you do this to me!?"
"Listen, I haven't been the best father I know. As of right now though, things… I can't stand to see you like this." He says as she continues to stare at him. "I'm worried that whatever will happen next in our family I won't be there to keep you safe. But I know that boy will. That he'll treat you right, and take care of you as I could not. It's time for you to grow up."
"NO!" Octavia says while running to him and hugging him tightly sobbing into his chest. "I don't want to say goodbye. Please! Don't leave me."
Stolas wrapped his arms around her and hugged her gently, feeling his eyes start to water. "I won't be away from you. No matter what happens to you, no matter what happens to me, I will never be far away from you, my special little Starfire."
She hugged him tighter and continued to cry, her father rubbing her head as he looked down at her. After a while, Octavia's sobs eventually came to a stop. He picked her up and took her sleeping form back to the bed, laying her there and tuckering her in.
As he was about to stand up, she unconsciously grabbed his arm. He stared at her with wide eyes before he closed them, tears finally fell from them onto the sheets. He moved his other arm and caressed her cheek.

Ash turned the doorknob and opened his door, stepping out of his room, Pikachu on his shoulder. He took a deep breath and let it out before looking at the stairs, hearing his mother and Stolas talking.
He started slowly walking down them, seeing the two sitting across from each other in the living room, having just finished talking before they looked at him. He looked at his mother who still looked shocked before she looked away, not knowing what to say. He knew that she might give him some kind of talking for not telling her what was really happening, but he could live with that. Right now, he looked at Stolas.
"Ash, if you need more time-" He started to say before the boy put a hand up.
"I… made up my mind."
(Several days later)
"How much longer is he gonna take?" Delia asked as she, her son, and his Pokemon waited in the living room on the couch.
"Not much longer." Ash says, avoiding eye contact.
"I'm not mad that you didn't tell me about this, but the fact that you only told me straight before choosing this…" She paused for a moment before sighing. "I still am a little confused but… knowing that you're doing this to help that poor girl-"
"You don't have to tell me, I know." Her son stops her. "I'm sorry that I didn't tell you sooner."
"... Ash, how do you feel about this girl?"
"Honestly, I didn't think much. I thought she and I could be good friends, but… never thought it'd go this far." He took a deep breath again. "But I do want to be more than just friends. More importantly, I don't want her to keep going through what's happening in her world. She deserves far better, to be treated properly, to be… to be safe."
Delia looked at him, her eyes watering before she quickly wiped them. "I'm happy to hear you say that." She says before putting a hand on his shoulder. "If she really means this much to you, I will happily do what I can to help as well."
"Thanks, mom. That really means a lot."
After another moment, a portal opened. Delia still appeared surprised upon seeing it, but Ash had hardly reacted having already seen it happen many times. The prince and his daughter stepped out into the room, suitcases following after them.
"Hi." Ash says as he stands up to greet her.
"Hello." Octavia says, hardly looking at him.
"So… has he told you?"
"Yes, he's told me."
Stolas went to the boy and knelt in front of him putting a hand on his shoulder. "Ash, I can not thank you enough for what you've done for my daughter. I don't believe it's necessary, but I want you to promise me that no matter what, you will protect her."
"Of course, I promise. I won't let anything happen to her." The boy tells him.
Stolas simply nodded before turning to his daughter. "Take care now, my dear."
"I will see you again, won't I?" Octavia asked.
"Of course. Even if it takes an eternity, I will find you." He says before she hugs him again.
"Promise me."
"I promise."
They hugged while the two humans in the room watched. Delia put her hands on her face hiding her tears as Pikachu patted her arm for comfort. Ash watched, wiping the tears from his face. It was not something he wasn't familiar with, but it wasn't easy to watch.
"I love you, dad." Octavia whispers.
"I love you too, my little owlette." Stolas whispered back.
They hugged for a little longer before separating. Stolas stood up and walked through the portal. He looked back one last time and sadly smiled while giving a wave to his daughter. She waved back as the portal slowly closed and in a puff of flames… it was gone.
Ash looked at her and reached to her before she closed her eyes and ran into his arms. He was taken aback for a moment before hugging her as she started to sob quietly.
(Goetia Mansion)
Stolas stared at the wall of his daughter's room where he had just created a portal. Seconds went by. Seconds that turned into minutes. Minutes that felt like hours. Hours that felt like days. He closed his eyes and then looked down at his grimoire.
He stared at the page that had the portal to the Pokemon world. He raised one hand and reached for it, stopping in hesitation. A single tear fell from his face, staining the paper. Taking a deep breath, he touched the page and dragged his palm down it, a red glow emitting from the writing before disappearing, leaving the page blank.
"You will be okay."
Look, for those who're hoping that I'd do a full-out series of this fanfic, I'm sorry, but that's not gonna be the case. When I first wrote this series, I did it with the sole intention of making this a short fanfic that would only be about 9 to 10 or fewer chapters, so this is gonna be the start of the final chapters of this story.
As for the Hazbin Hotel story, it's gonna be an actual series that will last more than just 9 to 10 chapters.
