Chapter 5: Obsession:

Ben's POV:

I woke up and saw that girl. "You're awake, my Darling!"

I saw I was strapped to a wall. "Who are you," I asked.

"My name is Elena Validus and I love you!"

"Elena Validus," I asked.

"When I hear you say my name, it makes my heart sing," says Elena.

"Yeah, you're the one who sent those notes alright," I said, "but how did you manage to make yourself look like Kai?"

"Nanites," says Elena, "Dr. Doom once used them, but when you were fighting him, like a knight by the way, I think I accidently swallowed some of them and now I have powers!"

"When the ground started to move and when the mailbox attacked Spider-Man," I said.

"They were me," says Elena, "I wanted to make sure my plan was perfect!"

"And what is your plan," I asked.

"Those chemicals I sent Charmcaster and Darkstar to get were necessary to make a love potion," says Elena, "and Spider-Man's webshooters are perfect for spreading them on to you and once I do, you will fall madly in love with me and we will be together, as it was written in the stars!"

"One, you're nuts," I said, "and two, where's Kai?"

"Kai, Kai, Kai," says Elena, "what does she got that I don't have, anyway?"

"Well, she didn't hire a gang of supervillains," I said, "and what are you talking about? I-I don't like her!"

"I'm right here," says Kai, revealing, she was strapped next to me.

"Awkward," says Elena.

"Okay," I said, "well, guess what, Gwen, Kevin, and Spider-Man will arrive any minute to take you down!"

Then her gang show up, carrying Gwen, Kevin, and Spider-Man. "You were saying," asks Darkstar.

"By the way, we're doing all of this so you can get lovey-dovey with our enemy," asks Charmcaster.

"That's a problem," says Darkstar, "we want to kill him!"

"And here's how I feel about that!" Elena then makes these tentacle things that grab them. "Now, you are going to shut up and do as I say, understand?"

"Of course," says Darkstar, "being with you is probably a faith worse than death anyway!"

"Thanks," Elena says, not meaning it, "now, strap them to the wall!"

They then do so. "Ben, who is this girl," asks Gwen.

"My secret admirer," I said, "during this fight I once had with Doom, she got nanite powers!"

"Nanite powers," says Spider-Man, "wait, maybe she's not really obsessed!"

"She hired villains to help her make a love potion," says Kai, "sounds obsessed to me!"

"No," says Spider-Man, "I think the nanites are messing with her mind! My guess is, when she saw Ben, she did develop a crush, but the nanites turned that to a full-on obsession!"

"So, the little bots are just making her this way," asks Kevin.

"Yeah," says Spider-Man, "and who knows how dangerous this could be? She may not even survive!"

"Right now, we have to stop her before she uses that stuff on Ben," says Gwen, "I will not let my cousin be smitten with some stalker!"

"Don't worry," says Spider-Man, "I know exactly what to do!"

Elena was filling the web shooters.
