Hanging Out and Training a Litte Hard
"My, my, it looks like this mission was a bit more than we could hope for." A girl said, sitting in a chair within a dark room that has a single source of light and a boy standing close to her.
"Yes, the info we got about that unnatural woman being at Tenbi Academy was certainly a surprise when we got it from that man. And it has piqued our curiosity." The boy nodded.
"Yes, which is why I attended Tenbi Academy in the first place to see what that boy is capable of with my own eyes, and it looks like we may have only caught a fraction of his power." The girl smirked.
"Luckily for us, we have the others, that certain group ready to deploy to Tenbi Academy should we wish to summon them." The boy pointed out.
"Hmm, yes, you do have a great point, brother. We'll just have to wait for the right time should that boy pique my interest even more." The girl said, decided to play the waiting game.
"It almost sounds like you have a crush on this Bell boy." The brother teased a little.
"Oh please, like I would waste my time with such a thing like romance." The sister rolled her eyes, showing that she is not interested in finding herself some romance.
"Then do you think that Bell would make a good match for our big sister?" The brother asked.
"We both know that she'll only go out with a man if he proven himself to be very strong." The sister reminded her brother.
"Although maybe that Bell boy could meet that expectation." The sister said.
(Tenbi Academy, Nurse's Office)
Bell, Bete, and Uruchi are seen within the nurse's office having Aki check up on their bodies to make sure they aren't hurt from the attack from Kumi and brought her here to get a checkup as well.
"I'm so glad you guys are alright. I was starting to worry since you haven't reported in on the clock." Furan smiled, relief to see the three here okay.
"Shut up, it's not like we were dying or anything." Bete huffed.
"You guys even completed your first mission as a Maken-Ki member, great job." Haruko smiled, really glad to see that nothing bad happened to Bell and the others.
"I'm just glad that we were able to stop something bad before it could get any worse, that girl was saying something about being curious to the strong fighters of this school." Bell informed, remembering what Kumi said earlier.
"I see, so she's the attacker." Furan looked over to the unconscious Kumi.
"I don't know, something just doesn't feel right with me." Bete scratched the back of his head.
"What do you mean by that?" Yuuka asked.
"You said that every fight that happened recently ended with everyone having their memories of that fight erased, but this girl doesn't have that ability from her Maken." Bete explained.
"From what I can tell, she only has that web trap of hers." Bete shrugged.
"How can you be so sure of that?" Uruchi asked.
"Call it a gut feeling, something about that girl didn't sit right with me during that fight, it felt like we were talking to someone else than Kumi herself." Bete explained.
"Wait, what do you mean by that?" Bell asked, feeling confused about that.
"I say this guy is talking shit, maybe he was so bored out of his mind that he lost it." Uruchi deadpanned, thinking this guy is just making all of this up.
"Shut the Hell up! I'm not making it up, I'm just going what my instincts are saying!" Bete yelled angrily.
"Like anyone would believe that." Uruchi said.
"I believe him." Furan said, which shocked Uruchi and the other Maken-Ki members here except for Yuuka.
"Goodness, I didn't think you would be the type to believe in such things as gut instincts. You always seem like more on thinking of logic." Aki surprised as she walks in.
"That's because for the six years since our parents married, Bete has always listened to his instincts whenever there is something going on around him like a man pretending to be weak and harmless or a structure of a building is about to break. He's always on the mark." Furan explained about Bete's strong instincts.
"No way, are you fucking for real with me right now?" Uruchi asked shock.
"It's almost like he can predict the future!" Bell amazed.
"I don't have that kind of power, dipshit. My instincts just warn me that something might happen and I just ready myself for it." Bete explained.
"Anyway, we should be more focus on learning more about that girl and see if she had any encounter with anyone." Bete suggested.
"That might be the best course of action we got right now." Furan nodded.
"How long will it be until Kumi wakes up?" Haruko asked Aki.
"Well, she doesn't have any serious head injuries aside from the one hard hit Bete gave her, but it looks like she might make a full recovery by tomorrow." Aki answered.
"Or maybe now." Kumi said as she wakes up.
"Well, good morning there, sleeping spider." Bete greeted with a grin.
"Hey there, are you by any chance an admirer of mine?" Kumi asked, seeing as she doesn't know who Bete is right now.
"You don't remember fighting us earlier, or that I gave you a hard kick on the head?" Beter asked, tapping on the spot of his head where he hit Kumi to knock her out.
"You knocked me out? That's weird, I don't remember fighting… anyone…?" Kumi felt confused about this and then felt a slight headache that hurts like Hell.
"Kumi Amio, you were involved in several incidents involving fights without making it official with doing the vow and attacked any students that got caught in your web from your Maken." Furan explained.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, what the fuck are you talking about? I didn't attack anyone!" Kumi refused to believe such a thing.
"Oh my, it looks like you also suffered from memory lost just like the victims." Aki noticed this.
"Huh, now I'm really confused." Kumi said.
"Can you remember anything before finding yourself here, the last thing you can recall?" Yuuka asked.
"Well, the last thing I remember was just walking around the school between periods and then I came across someone…" Kumi tried to remember everything she could, but everything became all fuzzy in the memory.
"I… I can't remember, I know I met someone, or did I really meet someone…?" Kumi conflicted of her memories of that day.
"Sounds like you were also a victim." Bete said, sitting on the bed close to her.
"Listen, I don't really know what the fuck is going on here, but I can promise you that I'm going to find who the bastards are and kick them in the ass to avenge you!" Bete stated strongly.
"Avenge me? Are you fucking nuts? We just met." Kumi pointed out, finding this guy to be strong and yet oddly cool at the same time.
"I know, and you were pretty cool yourself even though you weren't really in control of yourself at the time." Bete complimented with a smirk.
"Oh, it looks like your puppy brother has found himself a girlfriend." Yuuka teased whispering into Furan's ear.
"No way, this might work out better for him!" Furan smiled.
"You better not do anything!" Bete yelled at the two, feeling both embarrassed and anger at the same time that he's being teased like this with his face blushing.
Kumi giggles upon seeing this cute little scene of this first-year kid trying to flirt with her even though they just met, and two girls are teasing him about it, but there is something about this guy that makes her feel at ease for some reason.
"You got a name?" Kumi asked.
"Bete Loga, better not forget it." Bete answered.
"Miss Amio, would it be alright if you stay here for a bit? I need to check on your body to see if there is anything else that might be wrong." Aki asked.
"Sure, I think the headache is still hurting." Kumi nodded.
"So, what do we do now, President?" Haruko asked.
"Well, our attacker is also the victim of this mysterious attack on the students and the only clue we have is that this attacker is definitely a student of Tenbi Academy." Furan said, doing some thinking.
"Which means the only thing we can do is be on the lookout for anything strange while we go about our usual business." Furan stated.
"I hope nobody gets hurt from this either." Bell concerned.
"Not to worry, this attack is curious about our power and wants to fight us. Meaning this attacker or attackers will probably come toward us for a fight." Yuuka believed with a smile.
"Just be extra careful, we don't know how many there are or what their motives are." Furan advised.
"Right, we'll be on the lookout." Bell nodded.
Bell is seen walking out of the school building and heading home back to the dormitory while thinking about the attacker and Kumi, maybe there is somebody else pulling the strings of these attacks and hurting others just to get to Maken-Ki.
"(I have to get stronger; I have to make sure nothing like this ever happens again.)" Bell thought determined.
"Hey Bell, are you heading home?" Minori asked, walking up to him.
"Yeah, just finished a mission though there are some complicated things that you're probably gonna hear about it later." Bell answered.
"Good to know, I'll have to prepare myself for that." Minori cracked.
"Principal Rokujou, do you think there's an ability that allow one to take control of others and erases certain parts of their memories?" Bell asked.
"Bell, please! Just call me Minori, I'm not really big on the formality names and such." Minori patted a little hard on Bell's back.
"Right, I got it." Bell said.
"As for your question, that kind of power can be used in from some sort of hypnotizing element technique or a Maken with the ability to mind-control others. At least from what I know." Minroi said.
Minori remembers back when she was a student in Tenbi Academy and the Maken-Ki club was still kind of new in the school, she remembers having to face an enemy that took control a fellow student through her shadow trying to steal some document papers to the outside world.
"(Maybe it could be that same woman again, but it has been years, and she was sent to prison. So, it could be someone else.)" Minori thought tried to think if there is anyone else, she knows or heard of.
"I wanna be ready the next time something bad like this happens again, I wanna protect everyone from the kind of danger such as having your free will taken away." Bell determined with the red electricity spark emitting from his fist.
"(This kid has such a big heart, you raised him well, Shinku!)" Minori thought squealed.
"Well then, tomorrow is a weekend and I've been meaning to get myself into fighting shape for a while. How about you and I train together?" Minori asked.
"Really? You're okay with training with me?" Bell asked shock.
"Of course, I'm sure! You're one Hell of a strong kid, I've been looking for someone to have some sparring matches with for a while and you're just the guy I need!" Minori rolled her shoulder.
"But I gotta warn you, my kind of training is rough and tougher than the ones you've been doing with Maken-Ki." Minori mentioned.
"If that's the case, then yes! I will train with you!" Bell nodded with a bright smile.
"Great!" Minori smirked.
"Oh, do you mind if I bring along a friend! I think he's lacking behind on his training, and I was hoping you could make him take his training a little more seriously." Bell requested.
"Sure, bring in any lazy bastard that needs some hard lessons!" Minori nodded.
(The Next Day)
The scene shows an up-close face of Kengo with some sweats coming down from his face and gritting his teeth hard, his arms are bend and shaking like shitty crazy, and he is panting hard like he could collapse at any moment.
"You're doing great, Kengo." Bell said.
"Bell, you fucking bastard… I can't believe you tricked me!" Kengo growled.
"What do you mean tricking you? I told you that we're gonna be training together." Bell pointed out.
"You said it was gonna be a training that can help get me close to pretty girls and the training itself would help me get stronger for that…" Kengo mentioned.
"But this training feels more like I'm being torture to make me paralyze from the back!" Kengo shouted in rage.
The scene zooms out finally revealing that Kengo is doing 100 pushups while having a very rock about the size of his body and a little bit more, and so far, he has only managed to do eleven pushups.
"Not only that, but we're training with the principal of all people!" Kengo glared.
"Hey now, you should be grateful to have a beautiful young woman like me to have you get stronger than ten gorillas!" Minori yelled back.
"I thought you'd be more excited about training with Minori. She's not only strong, but she is also a beautiful woman just like the others." Bell stated, making Minori said.
"Fuck her?! This woman acts more like a damn man trying to show off like an idiot, not to mention there has been stories about her being the most troublesome and destructive student in Tenbi Academy. No guy would ever date a freak like her." Kengo explained, struggling to do his fourteenth pushup.
"It's why no guy would ever go on a date with a tomboy like her." Kengo said.
Hearing all of that have tick Minori off as she slams her fist on the rock to force it down harder on Kengo causing him to collapse and fell with the rock on top of him.
"Care to repeat that, kid?" Minori smirked angrily.
"See…" Kengo groaned.
"Kengo, you shouldn't say such mean things about others like that. Besides, Minori went out of her way to help train you to become a stronger member of Maken-Ki." Bell scolded.
"Yeah, the only reason you're here is because Bell asks me to." Minori mentioned.
Kengo couldn't believe that he let himself be talked into doing such a crazy training session with Minroi of all women that he doesn't want to get close with, Bell has no idea on how shit this woman is.
"Okay, how about you take a break and do under the shade of the tree." Minori easily lifted the rock off from his back.
"Sure, I'm cool with that…" Kengo crawled away to the tree.
"Hey, you guys! I came by to give you guys some drinks!" Hestia walked over to them with three cups of lemonade.
"Thank you, Hestia." Bell thanked.
"So, how is the training going?" Hestia asked.
"The brat Bell brought along isn't thrilled with my training. But he'll come apologizing to me once he sees how strong he'll become by the end of the weekend." Minori answered and smirk.
"I'll be dead by then!" Kengo yelled.
"Anyway, it's time we get your training done, Bell. Get into position." Minori pointed at a metal spike.
"Got it!" Bell nodded and went over to the needle spike.
"What trying are you making him do?" Hestia asked.
"Bell is going to concentrate his Element energy into the tip of his finger and use it to stand on that spike for 12 hours." Minori answered causing Hestia to gasp.
"12 hours?! I can't believe you're going to make a kid do that!" Hestia said worry.
"What's to worry about? I've done similar training like that back in our days." Minori said.
"Yes, but you were already a strong girl who could almost punch any idiots away with one fiery punch. Bell is a gentler soul, you know." Hestia pointed out.
"I know, but Bell said he wanted to get stronger to protect everyone and be ready for whatever danger comes his way." Minori smiled as she looks at Bell struggling to keep himself on the spike for more than ten seconds.
"By the way, have you heard anything from them lately?" Minori asked.
"By them you mean those two men we used to know, then no. I'm especially glad to not hear a word from that guy." Hestia answered making Minori chuckle.
"(I don't know why, but I have a feeling we'll be seeing you soon… Hermes.)" Minori thought wondered what that guy is doing right now.

I think Bete may have found himself a girl to like a little more than he's letting on while Bell does some training with Minori to get stronger, and even dragged poor Kengo to get him into the spirit of Maken-Ki. Let's hope he survives the weekend while training under Minori with Bell.
