Reficule stared at Luna, "you won't defeat me, you may possess the very thing that defeated me eons ago but you lack the power to properly use it."I'll give you the first move." Luna was confused, what was she planning? Either way she's not going to back down from this, to save Leo, she had to be brave. "I draw! I'll summon Regulus to the field!

"And now I'll end my turn with two facedowns, that's all for now" said Luna. "Just as I thought, you're no threat to me." Reficule says draws a card, "I'll activate my lair of darkness field spell. And I'll call out Lilith, lady of lament"

"Huh, why would you summon that then?" questioned Luna. Lilith smirked, "now to seal your doom, I activate the effect of Ahrima, the wicked warden from my hand, I discard it to add a lair of darkness to my hand which I'll activate now, now all monsters on the field become dark attribute. And here's where Lilith comes into play, she can tribute a dark monster to reveal three normal traps from my deck and you choose which one is set on the field. But lair of darkness has another effect, when I must tribute a dark monster for the activate of an effect, once per turn I can tribute one of yours!". Luna took a step back as she watched as Reficule tributed her regulus and revealed three virus traps and set one on the field.
"Now Lilith, attack her directly!" said Refiucle. "Sorry to dissapoint you Darklord, but I'll activate the trap call of the haunted, returning Regulus to the field!" said Luna

"What you did doesn't matter Luna, I am more than capable of ridding the field of your little pet again!" said Reficule in a way expressing that she wasn't concerned at all, "a little damage to me isn't anything to write home about, I'll set this card end my turn. Now Lair of Darkness uses another effect. I can special summon torment tokens on my field per monster's tributed in defense mode. Your move now, but know this Luna, this is your only turn you're getting before I defeat you, so you better defeat me in this move or this duel will be mine!".

Reficule rolled her eyes "Do you think that's going to bring you victory, I have bad news for you, in reality, you made your situation worse". "Not when I do this! I'll use ancient fairy dragon's effect to destroy lair of darkness-" Reficule cut off Luna, "Are you finished daydreaming, if not I'll simply wake you up with this, my trap card, erradicator epidemic virus. I tribute a dark monster with 2500 or more attack points and then declare either spell or trap, and I destroy all of those type of card on the field, hand, and those you draw until the third end phase. And since your ancient fairy dragon's attack points were raised, it makes it available for tribute.". Luna's eyes widened "Oh no!", "Oh yes! And I'll declare trap card". Ancient fairy dragon was tributed and Luna's facedown along with a trap in her hand was destroyed.
"Now, I've shut down any hope of defense involving traps and destroyed ancient fairy dragon in one fell swoop. All your efforts were in vain.", "I'm not finished just yet!" retorted Luna, "I play the spell card pot of greed allowing me to draw two cards, and none of them are traps so your virus won't do anything, I'll use monster reborn to bring back Ancient fairy dragon in defense mode".

"Now we'll let it finish what it started it'll destroy lair of darkness-", "how many times must I prove that you aren't going to win this duel Luna!" shouted Reficule, "I activate my counter trap, order of Diabolos, when an effect is activated that would destroy Lair of darkness, the effect is negated and I am allowed to tribute a monster to special summon this! I tribute my torment token, come forth and crush the light under your mighty power, Darkest Diabolos, lord of the lair!

Luna smirked, "I won't need too.". Reficule raised an eyebrow "I don't follow". Luna: You're right, I can't defend with traps anymore, however your own lair of darkness is now going to help me. Two monsters this turn were tributed, your token and ancient fairy dragon. And now thanks to your little field spell, two torment tokents will appear on my field when the turn ends in defense mode. I'll end my turn!

"Just because you gained to tokens, do not assume you have the advantage or the necessary defense. I told you already, your prievous move was also your final one. Now this duel is over" Says Reficule as she draws her card, "Now I'll use ancient fairy dragon as tribute for my Diabolos to use it's effect, sending a card in your hand to either the top or bottom of the deck, and I chose bottom of the deck.". Luna silently cursed seeing ancient fairy dragon gotten rid of very easily yet again by Reficule's field spell. "Now Luna, I'm going to end this duel right here and now." Luna's eyes narrowed at the Darklord's comment, "Your bluffing, even if you summon another monster, you used up you one tribute of my dark monsters.", But the darklord smirked "What if I don't need to worry about your puny defense? I'll play my equip spell, fairy meteor crush. Allowing Diabolos to deal piercing battle damage when it attacks, so I'll attack your torment token!

Luna was knocked back by the attack but she got up, "I still have a chance to turn this around on my next turn!". Reficule began to laugh, "Did you forget so soon Luna? I already told you that you aren't going to take another turn, I've won!". At this, Luna responds "You're delusional Darklord, I still have life points". "Not when i play this, a simple continuous spell, Ectoplasmer. Now before I end my turn, I can destroy diabolos, and damage your life points equal to it's attack points.", Luna's heart sank when she heard that, Reficule was going to win this turn and there was nothing Luna could do to stop her, her destroyed trap, rainbow life could've saved her but thanks to the virus, it was gone. "I've had enough of our little game, Ectoplasmer, fire!". Luna could only watch as Reficule dealt the final blow to her life points sending her flying back onto the ground.

Luna saw the darklord approaching her, the darklord had a look of disappointment on her face. Reficule kneeled down to Luna's level and spoke "You're pathetic Luna, if you managed to unlock the full potential of ancient fairy dragon you may have been a worthy adversary, but with the performance you put on here, you aren't even worth the effort it will take to send you away to the netherworld."
Luna looked up at the darklord in anger, "All you've done is make my brother fall deeper into darkness and you're likely waiting for an opportunity to kill him in order for you to take the power of the primal being for yourself!". All Reficule did was shake her head, "I can beat your brother whenever I so choose, I simply choose not too, you may be surprised to Learn Luna, but he still has a conscience and morals.". Luna was at first shocked but then responds to the darklord, "If so, that means he can be saved and he can be freed from the primal being's control.". A sickening grin crossed Reficule's face and then Luna realized what Reficule wanted to do, "you plan to crush that part of him, do you!" said Luna, Reficule nodded "Correct, and once that's accomplished, he will be unstoppable". "Why do you even want this though? What do you gain out of this!" shouted Luna, "Why, I gain what all of us who joined Leo want, the death of the crimson dragon." answered Reficule. "Us?" asked Luna, "I am not the only duel spirit who joined your brother, several have. Each of us have had our lives ruined by the crimson dragon and we are all working together to ensure Leo's success in killing the crimson dragon and releasing the primal being from its dimensional prison!". Before Luna could respond Yusei, her parents, and the other signers come into the area.
"Yusei Fudo" muttered Reficule, "the golden child of the crimson dragon". Kenji and Himari saw Luna on the ground and turned to the darklord. "I don't know who the hell you think you are, but no one hurts my family and gets away with it!" shouts Kenji preventing Yusei from responding and clenching his fists before runs towards the darklord throwing a punch but the darklord doesn't even flinch when she is hit, Kenji barley had any time to register what happened before he is tossed aside effortlessly by Reficule, "Your insignificant attack wasn't even worthy of my notice", she says as she turns to the others, "Who's this mummy Luna?" asked Crow, "A darklord, one of the most dangerous duel spirits in existence. Your talking to a great demon of the spirit world" replied Luna. That made everyone tense up, including Yusei remembering his last encounter with the first Darklord.
Himari was the first to break the silence, "you're working for the dark signer aren't you! Who is he!". The other signers save for Yusei tensed up, they didn't want Luna's parents to know Leo was the dark signer, but Reficule knew Leo couldn't have his identity revealed to his parents just yet, so she just decided to play along, "Oh you'll find out soon, he's so close and yet also so far". "Don't talk in riddles you demon! Give me the answer I want now before I beat it out of you!" screamed Himari grabbing her duel disk. Reficule looked to the east seeing the sun coming up, "apologies, but I'm afraid I must go now. I have other matters to attend to. Don't worry, I'll be sure to dispose of you lambs some other time. Who knows, perhaps one of you will even give me a challenge". said Reficule as she spread her wings and flew away. "We'll be ready either way" shouted Yusei as Reficule left.
They all looked at each other as the dawn hit, "what do we do now?" asked Crow. "We need to improve and train for when the darklord returns." replied Kenji. "No, there's something we must do first" replied Crow. Himari looked confused, "What?". "We need to get our team back together, our ENTIRE team" answered Crow.
