AUTHOR'S NOTES: Hey guys! Well here is another Musical One Shot. This one takes place after Danny sees Sam kissing Gregor and takes off.
EVERMORE
As Danny saw Gregor kissing Sam, he couldn't help but feel his heart breaking a bit. The sight alone was enough to make him look down in sadness.
"I've beginning to think that maybe spying is better left to soulless government drones." Danny commented before changing into his ghost form and taking off into the night skies.
As he flew, he couldn't help but think about what he saw. He floated down to the park, where there was a river and stood by near it. He changed back into his human form and sat down on one of the large rocks, looking down at the river.
"Why did seeing Sam being kissed by that guy make me feel this way?" Danny wondered as he ran a hand through his raven black hair. "It's not like I like her that way…..or…..do I?"
He looked back on all the times he and Sam had spent together, all the times she had been there for him even at the darkest of times or when things became hard. No matter what, she had always stuck by him, always helped him. He remembered everyone calling him clueless and now he knew why. It was so obvious that maybe Sam did like Danny.
Recently, he also noticed how beautiful she looked to him. Whenever she laughed, he felt even happier. Now he started to realise that maybe….he did like Sam…and maybe, just maybe….he was falling in love with her.
It suddenly clicked. He then looked down in sadness as he realised, "I'm in love with Sam Manson. But now….I'm too late."
He looked up at the full moon and sighed as a couple of tears fell from his eyes.
DANNY
I was the one who had it all
I was the master of my fate
I never needed any girl in my life
I learnt the truth too late
He stood up, picked up a rock and skipped it across the river. For some reason, he had hoped that maybe Sam didn't really want to be with Gregor.
I'll never shake away the pain
I close my eyes, but she's still there
I let her steal into my half-spiritual heart
It's more than I can bear
He looked up at the full moon and could see the image of Sam smiling down at him.
Now I know she'll never leave me
Even as she runs away
She will still torment me
Calm me, hurt me
Move me, come what may
He placed a hand where is heart was and gripped his shirt, feeling the pain of heart break as he couldn't shake the image of Gregor and Sam kissing out of his head.
Wasting in my lonely tower
Waiting by an open door
I'll fool myself she'll walk right in and be with for evermore
He changed into his ghost form and flew high in the night skies over Amity Park. He flew through the clouds and continued to look over the city, trying to wrap over his head of what he was feeling at this moment. He couldn't believe after all this time, the right girl for him was standing in front of him.
I rage against the trials of love
I curse the fading of the light
Though she's already flown so far beyond my reach
She's never out of sight.
He turned invisible and floated near Sam's house and watched as she went inside. If he had phased inside, he would've seen the confusion on Sam's face. He knew tomorrow he would have to talk to her about Gregor and his suspicions, but didn't know whether or not to tell her about his feelings.
Now I know she'll never leave me
Even as she fades from view
She will still inspire me
Be a part of everything I do
He flew back to his house and stood on the roof, looking over Amity Park as he changed back into his human form. What if Sam really did like Gregor? What would he do if they became a couple? A few small tears fell as he thought about the possible scenario of the outcome and wishing, he had realised his true feelings for Sam sooner.
Wasting in my lonely tower
Waiting by an open door
I'll fool myself she'll walk right in
And as the long, long nights begin
I'll think of all the might've been
Waiting here for evermore!
With that, he sat down, hid his face in his knees and allowed his tears of sadness to fall.
